The focus on diagnosis seeking among medically neglected chronically ill people really sucks bc it's like. You know having an official dx won't make doctors give you medical care right :(
#esp with stuff like hEDS where ur entire medical team p much has to agree that u have it before u can even START jumping thru the hoops#like that official dx process basically only exists to make it harder to get on disability as far as i can tell -__-#but IME if theyre gonna believe you theyll believe u without a dx#and if they dont believe u it really doesnt matter how much evidence u provide :p maybe this is just the medical trauma talking tho#original
