Hello! I have not had WiFi for the last little while so excuse me!

I really loved chapter eight, actually it's one of my favorites since the first and I'm so glad Annie and the reader are reunited. I did get your response to my comment on AO3 and... boy am I worried! I understand that there's a lot they need to address (including but not limited to: the Nose Breaking), but I just wish they could cuddle and kiss and be happy. I'm in it for the long haul, though.

My spring break starts next week, so hopefully then I'll have more free time to work on the sequel to my Annie fic AND to reply to you faster. Also, I feel like most of Papa's character is being a grumpy old man and that's kind of... endearing? I like the redemption arc you're giving him, and if he doesn't deserve to be redeemed that doesn't matter, Annie deserves a good dad.

oh damn, it's been a minute, i'm so happy to see you again!! you came back to... a lot lol. it's good that chapter 8 is the most recent one because it really is one of the best. SLKFBLKB YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M GOING FOR WITH PAPA!!! he cares about Annie so much, he's just... kind of an asshole. he's putting forth effort which is better than he ever did in canon. you phrased it exactly right: i don't care if he deserves a redemption arc. Annie deserves a father who loves her and i will take the Papa that she has with his warts and all.

yeah...... it's... not great......... it makes me really sad actually that the anime is so popular, not because i don't like it but because i think a lot of people just don't know what to do with it. it's so much more complicated than the casual viewer can take in. a lot of the narrative is presented in such a biased way that you HAVE to do critical thinking if you want to like, actually understand. i might be explaining it badly but this isn't any kind of legit analysis or opinion that i wanna open a dialogue on. just something that i believe.

tbh i have a lot of issues with the show but in some ways that adds to the experience. i guess that i like the challenge as a writer... and since I'll never write a big long academic essay on snk, I'll just explore the fuck out of the aspects of the show that are interesting. trnt specifically is incredibly therapeutic on a personal level.

You don’t have to tell me twice bro, here I go! 

So Rey turned out to be a palpatine LMFAO! it was honestly so bizarre that i sat there stunned for a minute cause i just could not believe it. like they really just DROPPED that on our fucking heads with no warning, and for no reason! was the fact that she used force lightning supposed to be the give away?! i just want to know why they’d do that! especially after they spent two movies drilling in the fact that she was NO ONE, and even had kylo tell her explicitly, TO HER FACE & on purpose to hurt her feelings, that they were no one and sold her for booze money. i get that he was supposed to be ~evil~ and ~the villain~, but that was dumb as hell and they went out of their way to make us feel like, ok she really is just a nobody! she spent all this time making up shit about her heritage just to make herself feel better like a child would, but, like most childish dreams, it just wasn’t true! and then they just go SIKE LMAOOOOO  y’all are dumb and believed us, she’s been a secret PALPATINE this whole fucking time. like... i have to laugh on that one. what was the reason?!  clearly they only did it so that could have a big GOTCHA jaw-dropping moment. and you know what, i guess it was jaw-dropping. but for ME, it was shocking because it just came from left fucking field. 

another thing was finn and rose having their own separate storyline in TLJ, just for them to be non-fucking-existent in rise of skywalker. i don’t even know what else to say about THAT but it was so dumb. finn was supposed to be revealed to be force sensitive and they even alluded to it at the end (he had some weird ~feeling~ and that’s why he knew something he would have no fucking way of knowing unless he was force sensitive!), and just did NOTHING with it. it made me mad as hell! 

and speaking of finn, i have to ask why THEE FUCK they just threw in some random masked woman for poe to flirt with and then do nothing with it at all. we could have had some real beautiful romance between two characters that made fucking SENSE together but disney is too scared of the white dudebros to commit and write a fucking good story. rose was a casualty of that as well because they really just threw her in and had her kiss finn at the end of TLJ JUST so they could kill the idea that finn and poe were into each other, just to drop that fucking story all together lmfao. fucking ridiculous, dude.

next is the whole “herp derp hux was the resistance spy all along!” thing! lmfao where in the FUCK did that come from?! did they ever foreshadow anything like that in the first two movies?! or are we supposed to assume that hux turned on the whole first order (which he AND his fucking father dedicated their entire lives to btw) just because kylo killed snoke and took over as supreme leader?! like??? maybe i missed something early on, but if it’s the latter i am SCREAMING because number one that was absolutely stupid, but it was also PETTY as fuck of hux to just decide to turn because he was pissed that kylo outranks him now. i am done. 

now lets talk about the ~dyad in the force~... BITCH! they really pulled that one outta their asses. i know you could argue that they foreshadowed that all along (i.e. TFA when kylo tells rey not to be afraid & that he can “feel it too” 🙄 & then p much all of TLJ) but imo they did a shitty job of explaining that THAT was what it was. the fact that i can’t remember if they said whether or not luke knew about this whole dyad in the force business either. if he did someone pls correct me lmao. but going on the assumption that he did not, HOW?! all the fucking talk in the prequel trilogy about PROPHECIES and BALANCING the force and yet not ONE of these mfs in the new republic knew anything about a force dyad or were on the lookout for that shit?! why wait till the last minute of the last movie to fucking reveal that?! then, they did nothing to try to explore or strengthen their connection to one another so for rey to just straight up teleport him his mama’s lightsaber at the end like that blew me lmfao i’m sorry. they didn’t earn that at all and i wish they had done a better job because, as a concept, the idea of it is COOL.

i won’t go in on leia cause we all know there was nothing that could be done about that, but i will say i actually LIKED that rey was able to get her lightsaber. that was nice. 

a minor thing but lmfao chewie died and then he wasn’t dead. all for no real reason at all other than to make rey Snap™ and use her evil force lightning ability that she’d never ever used before! 

there are probably other things that i am missing, or hell maybe i am being too hard on it, but idk! i don’t feel like that was the ending we all deserved. ESPECIALLY given how fucking amazing i thought the force awakens was. it was just a major disappointment, and i feel like it was a waste of 4 years getting hyped for it all lmao

Posting Rules and Q+A (PLEASE read if you are going to submit!)

So, you want to submit a confession? Great! More confessions are always welcome. However, there are a few reasonable ground rules that need to be established firsthand! Please, if you are planning on submitting, give these a quick read through!

1. Flat out, confessions that contain content that is in any way, shape, or form racist, abusive, pedophilic, transphobic, homophobic (biphobic, panphobic, etc.) will NOT be posted. However, if a confession seeks to critically and respectfully analyze themes like these that they may notice/are contained in one of the games, then this is very much indeed welcomed!

2. Silly or fun confessions are both allowed and encouraged! This blog was created with the intent to have fun and also be critical or thoughtful, so go for it!

3. Some profanity is allowed in confessions, just don’t go too overboard, please (and this is coming from someone who never stops swearing, y'all).

4. Confessions with sexual content are also allowed, again, within reason. we are not against it, just don’t send us full-on smut and expect it to get posted. Posts that have mild sexual suggestion will not be tagged, but anything blatantly “risque” will be tagged with NS*W.

5. If you want something specifically tagged for blacklisting/trigger/etc. purposes, just hit us up and it will be done.

6. Anonymous is only enable after the chapters come out or after the number of confessions in our inbox is rather low. If you wish to have your username posted alongside your confession, just say so and it’ll be posted! If you submit with your username but wish to remain anonymous, just specify and it will be done.

7. Regarding images to go with confessions, I will say that I don’t have a lot of experience with creating personalized images/pictures, so keep this in mind if you decide to submit, please! I only have a little ability to edit and alter in Paint. I will do my best to find and create relevant images! If you have a specific image of your own you want posted with your confession, just tell us and we will temporarily open the submit box for you to send it to us. We will not post people’s artwork with confessions unless they have expressly agreed to their work being used in such a way, and if so, they will always be appropriately credited. Mostly, official pixelberry/playchoices character and background art will be used for confessions.

8. Posts that directly maliciously target people won’t be posted. Partly because we see this as unfair, and partly because we don’t want this blog to become a den of spreading or creating unnecessary hate and turmoil within the fandom.

9. Negative fandom confessions will not be accepted, and will be deleted. For the same reasons as above, we do not want this blog to be a place where malicious fandom drama gets continuously turned around and around, only making it worse. This is a blog dedicated towards the books and their characters, not discussing happenings in the fandom.  Also Blatant character hate is not allowed. Neither are posts using hurtful language to describe a character. However confession that allows a respectfully and critically discussion about a character are allowed. Keep this in mind before you submit a confession.

10. Positve fandom confessions are allowed and encouraged!

11. No more than 3 confessions send by the same user. ( in the lapse of one week) this is basically because we think it’s not fair that only one user submit a lot of confessions. Let’s remember that this blog works with a strict number of confessions. Also repetitive confessions won’t be posted. Mostly because we think is tiresome to see the same confessions posted over and over. right? let’s be creative!!

12.  Confessions that mention attraction to character such as: really old people, villians, monsters, non human creatures,etc, will be tagged #BIZARRELI

13. Do not send this blog messages (like an ask) trying to contact another user. Many different situations could lead to a user trying to communicate with another by sending this blog a direct ask or message hoping to gain a response from another, but the fact of the matter is that this blog is not the place. Singling people out can lead to harassment or cause undue discomfort at feeling "targeted", even if this was not the intent by the original sender. Discussion in the notes of a post is where responses should take place. Asks/messages attempting to use this blog as an intermediary for communicating between two or more users (what have you) will be deleted.

14. When sending confessions that mention/include certain characters, do include what book* they are from. This is because as PB reuses names (either first or last name) across different books, and this can cause confusion for us mods when you send in your confession. You can include this as a separate note for the mods, or you can include it in your confession for others to see. *This also applies to characters of fan-made sequels.

15. The length of confessions should not exceed four (4) paragraphs. This is in relation to the poll we put up regarding longer confessions, where majority voted to stick to shorter ones.
