got blasphemous because religious guilt in art is like catnip to me, but the atmosphere stresses me out so much i actually picked hollow knight back up (a game that also used to stress me out a lot) in order to scratch that itch and, at long last, managed to defeat hornet a second time

#rita rants #it's not even that hollow knight is easier exactly but i'm more used to the controls #also i don't have to fucking parry in that game #i hate that mechanic in games because i'm shit at timing it right!!#also unlike in hollow knight blasphemous gives you a limited number of heals #and i. resident coward. hate walking into places without a robust health bar #but i can't backtrack because every time you save enemies respawn #and so the only way out is through #but that shit's SCARY #i'm slowly crawling my way to the second boss (i think) but i can only play the game in short bursts before i stress myself out #why don't you play another game? you might ask #and to that i answer: catholic guilt. in a videogame. spanish developers. that's all
