oh hey good morning it’s the ass crack of dawn and I see some of u are still repeating “tRuST LoUiS” as if that fucking makes any sense, do u understand that when u say that it seems to imply the onus is on him alone to work his way out of this mess? That it’s up to him? That he’s Smart so he can outwit the ego-driven ptb in the music industry who are so manipulative and shady and have such a stranglehold on their artists that the #metoo movement can barely make a ripple through their industry despite all of us knowing damn well how it is? That somehow he has the means to extract himself from this mess when not even Michael fucking Jackson got away from Sony unscathed? Why do u seem to think 26 year old Louis Tomlinson from a boy band would somehow have more leverage and power over his own career than MJ did at the height of his fame? Louis’ fans have every fucking right to be worried as shit for his career and do not need to gloss over his obvious struggles just because he has an intact fan base. It’s not going to magically Be Okay soon because he has fans. If only it were that straight forward?!? We’re happy as shit that he still has a massive fan base - we love being a part of it, celebrating him and seeing others celebrate him - and we’re ALSO very worried he will continue to be fucked over and none of that has anything to do with whether we “trust” him or not because that has no bearing on his situation. “You DoNt trUst Him” is a way of saying “you shouldn’t be worried about him” when I think it’s pretty clear we should? If u have evidence that bts everything is excellent for him please share it with the class, we’d love to see it. Ofc we would love to be here having fun every day, screaming about new career-related content, but we don’t have any of that do we??? So maybe lay off that stupid Trust Louis shit for a while until we have evidence that someone is doing right by him, that he has competent management, that he is a priority for ANYONE at Sony.
