SO many feelings, so few words to properly articulate said feelings π
It's just... So good? Like? Not that I'm necessarily surprised by that outcome but Superbloom for me genuinely felt like a once in a lifetime (for him and for me), lightning in a bottle, the stars all perfectly aligned type of moment so that was a lot for this project to live up to. And it did? I'm not even sure what my expectations were but they were completely blown out of the water and this is only the first half. ποΈπποΈ
#like??????#i liked Straight To Your Heart but I was also mindful that Ash said there was a lot of sonic diversity#and i was especially π knowing so much of the album was done with John Feldmann#and that Ash also a few different times has talked about trying to make this album more accessible to the mainstream#so again i had no idea what to expect#but it feels so immediately and specifically HIM#and it feels he's found the perfect balance of taking classic rock inspiration and putting a modern interpretation on it#and it just goes π€Έπ»οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½βοΈ so π€Έπ»ββοΈ hard π€Έπ»ββοΈ#ughhhhh i love it#i stg i spent the whole of breakup with this look on my face π#10/10 no notes#ask#hemmohaze#blood on the drums
