Okay, my top transfem character headcanon. I dunno how much Batman lore you know so I'll summarize. Batman has one biological child. In canon he's known as Damian Wayne, but for the rest of this I'll be referring to her as Naajia Wayne (got it from a fanfic but I'll explain why this fits her so so well). Her backstory is that she's the child of Batman and his love interest Talia Al Ghul. Talia is the daughter of the villain Ra's Al Ghul, who wanted a male heir to take over the League of Assassins for him one day. So Naajia is basically groomed from day 1 for this role, raised in isolation from the rest of the world and turned into a cold, cunning killing machine and leader. Eventually when Talia asks Batman to take Damian in, he makes her a Robin and she has to unlearn what she was taught and choose her own destiny instead of the one that was laid out by her conservative shitty ass grandpa. As for her name, did you know Damian means "to tame/subdue"? Naajia, on the other hand means "free/escaped". Her deadname held narrative importance for her past, and then she gets to choose her own name as she carves her own path and it literally says "I'm free. I can be myself now"

Also I don't like Wayne Family Adventures but she's shown doing some feminine things in there on occasion, like when Stephanie was training to walk and fight in heels, Naajia joins in and wears the heels too. Which is weaker evidence but like. I honestly believe Naajia transitioning would be the perfect conclusion to her story arc in the DC canon

I am SUCH a fan of when trans characters names have narrative significance. I think you should work for DC. I did think this already but even more now. Absolutely adopting this

i read a fanfic that included a he/him lesbian joker that was confidants with Lala and i have not been able to stop thinking about it. he/him butch autistic joker means So Much to me actually…. he cannot compare!! i usually think of joker as ftm but i also like mtf as well!! a lot of my headcanon is self projection for akira though so ftm is usually what you might see haha. he prefers masculine terms and style, but im not sure if he would cross dress or how he would fuck up gender exactly. but know this: he is not cis and never will be! he’s a girl in a boy way and he’s attracted to other masc+feminine people. only those who are queer pass jokers test (hence the phantom thieves haha)

i also think that akechi would learn to fuck up gender more as he becomes integrated into the thieves friend group. he doesnt see himself as any gender in particular but he does lean more towards form-fitting clothes, which happens to be a lot of feminine clothing! i think he does this because he made himself wear boxier/baggy clothes to appear more friendly towards the public and less menacing. after he gets revenge on shido, he feels more free to wear what he wants, so he tries a lot of tight clothes! the petticoat is an exception, he’s worn it for too long and its a comfort item now.

also, i think akechi wouldnt mind being referred to with any pronouns, so long as it is done out of respect. he uses he/him pronouns to refer to himself more frequently out of habit, but also uses pronoun sets such as ae/aer, she/her, it/its, and crow/crowself if youre cool
