I finished the first section and I'm onto the second! Only twelve sections after this, but this one should be pretty easy!!

Me: *three rows into my latest knitting project* This isn't so bad! I'm figuring it out pretty easily, and I can already see it start to take shape! Wow, this is great.

Me: *counts stitches and notices I'm two short* Oh No

#so the thing im making is a scarf #with the 14 fear entities from the magnus archives #i finished the eye today and i just did the first row of the vast #the vast doesnt have as much detail as the eye #and now that i know what im doing hopefully itll go faster #its a birthday gift for my girlfriend and last night i yapped about it to her for like fifteen minutes #i got to explain what knitting is and how it works and how double knitting works and the difference between charts and patterns #and i sent her a picture of my heavily annotated chart for the eye #i am so excited to finish it and give it to her. i just hope my poor hands and wrists can make it #theyre destroyed from knitting. sign language. and a car crash a few years ago #i still knit just less than i used to. and usually with bigger needles and yarn (bigger is easier to hold and work with)#so blankets are usually my go to. or a scarf or shawl with thick yarn #but this is small yarn. small needles. finicky pattern #im having so much fucking fun with it tho #and it keeps me engaged because it changes. every row is different and after thirty rows i get a new design #wish me the best. pray for my wrists and hands #im also a little behind schedule. i wanted to be halfway through the vast by the end of today. i dont think I'll be able to #but its a birthday gift so really wish me luck with getting it done on time
