i sometimes forget i actually make money so whenever i go check if i even have any to go buy something (usually small) i am shocked every time
number one way to save money: forget you actually have any
#txts#i aint complaining#i was thinking about upgrading my graphic tablet#because it doesnt have tilt sensitivity nor bluetooth#but which i dont NEED but which would be nice every now and then#and i saw xp pen has a decent one for 60€ currently on sale#i like their cheap screen one even tho its not my preferred workflow#so i was thinking of buying it#comes in different colours too lol#every tablet i look at is put into 'beginner friendly' ones#but they fit best because they arent huge#and i dont need like 80.000 different pressure sensitivities#they just fit my workflow of 'chill in bed and make rough art' the best#not doing hyperrealism drawing or sculpting or whatever wise#the sale is on for another 13 days....thinking on that and also#if i do get it#which colour#black is default and i love it but also....colours#i currently have an old wacom intuos i adore and as always switching tablets will be an adjustment#mostly art wise bc for all of them#the pressure sensitivity will be different even if it says its the same#they register different and it drives me crazy#but that comes with the territory#usually i wouldnt even buy a new one like this one is fine#not even scratched up too badly#ffs my old one i started with still works too but its more scratched up and i wanted to try clip studio#which came w/ the intuos in its trial and then debut form so win win there#aaaaah idk i dont wanna spend money on smth i dont NEEd#but also....its not that expensive for what it does#i have too many tablet here actually.....need to sort them out
