my favorite hobby is pretending to the world that i'm put together and organized whilst secretly being burdened by the crushing weight and guilt from that one task i should've done over a month ago that will probably take half an afternoon to finish but that i can't get myself to start regardless, that constantly lingers in the back of my head whenever i do literally anything else and haunts me like a poltergeist that delights in microdosing the panic button every time i look at the calendar

#sat in my room at 1am eating expired chocolate bars #like in that one taylor swift song #xo ur local suffering college student #when i was in high school a classmate once told me i seemed like someone who would have their school supplies/notes all neatly color-coded #and i sat there with fifty odd glitter gel pens half of which were probably out of ink crammed into my pencil case and just laughed #and now i think back upon that encounter and i want nothing more than to be that girl again #(really it was because i was quiet and people thought i was smart)#(but tbh i would really like for people to think i'm smart again! so the statement stands)
