#castlevania#castlevania music#curse of darkness#music of the day#i will never forget the sheer panic i felt when i managed to land a hit on trevor and i only took a sliver of his health#his second boss fight is also the one that gave me the most trouble along with dracula#which honestly makes perfect sense#his theme doesn't just say that trevor is a huge badass#it's *scary*#those are scary strings#hector is terrified of trevor and for good reason#you really do not want him as your enemy#you can *feel* the disproportionate difference in power#this is not trevor's theme this is the theme of the one who destroyed lord dracula and is coming after you now#also this is just a sick boss theme#one of my faves for sure#the choirs the synths the strings the bass and of course the guitar all come together for an awe-inspiring piece#and i love how even yamane gushes about trevor in the soundtest
