#contrary to popular belief: some of the 'kids today' have seen/watched older cartoons and listened to popular music#i was born in 2006- yet i still know older cartoons like looney toons and animaniacs and courage the cowardly dog#and i know a shitton of old rock bands and 90s hits#but you're too busy gatekeeping fun to understand that#classic cartoon#old cartoons#old music#classic music#hell people still own VHS tapes#record players are still a thing. in fact i have one downstairs that used to belong to my late dad#oh and bluray's a thing now too!#yeah. kids today DO know about 60s/70s/80s/90s stuff#you just havent realized it because you're too busy talking to other so-called '90s kids'
