#and i hate how specific some insurance ppl whatever are it's like oh yeah we'll cover this kind of blood test but not that kind

wow it really seriously sucks to be reminded of just.... how things are so inaccessible... like im doing some more adhd research and i’m seeing people talk about how they think they might have adhd, but then there’s the issue of getting a diagnosis, which can be difficult. like some doctors just might not listen to their patient, or maybe they won’t put a lot of effort in taking care of their patient, or they might even turn the person away. and it’s like.... some people have to go through multiple doctors (which takes so much time and money too...) and they might not even end up with a solution that will help them 

and then there’s the issue of healthcare being hard as hell to access,,,, or even if you Do have healthcare, the kind you have will determine the kind of treatment you get. some insurance companies won’t cover certain things and it’s like. what are you supposed to do then???? go into debt???????? that you’re not sure if you’ll even be able to pay back??? and insurance is a lot more fucking complicated then it should be by the way like i’m in my early twenties and i still !!! dont know what the hell is going onnnnnnnn why is is sooooooo complicateddddd why are there sooooo many words that are hard to understand wtf i still remember when i was on a call with my insurance and i asked the person on the phone if they could explain the term ‘deductible’ to me two times before i said i understood it when really . i did not <3 

but yeah it really sucks because if you dont have health insurance what are you supposed to do..... like there are therapists who provide free therapy but that is sooooooooo hard to find. and so if you’re struggling with something like adhd or depression, which makes going through daily life more difficult, That causes more issues. like it makes it difficult to work or go to school, and then when the people around you start to notice, there will be some people who will offer their criticism, instead of their guidance. people will look at you and be like ‘oh why aren’t you working, do you know how lazy you’re being?’ or there’s also ‘why are you failing your classes why arent you trying harder?’ and it’s like... even if you were to explain, certain people just refuse to accept it, it’s easier to deem people as lazy when really we’re struggling. like.... if i could sit and do my work i would, i don’t want to be spending hours trying to get myself to complete the tasks i have to do......
