i had a meeting w a really cool activist group today and i was worried what to wear bc i wasnt sure if the meeting was like formal but i also had a normal day of labwork and also wanted to look cool. so i was feeling self conscious about the end result of this internal conflict all day, and then i showed up to the meeting and one of the people was wearing a like gnc pirate fit. so there was nothing to fear

#this however does give mebad memory of when i first went to a meeting led by an activist i really admire and was nervous #and the intro question of meeting was whats the best item of clothing u own #and i blacked out and went ‘i have these socks with chickens on them i call them my cock socks!’#and that was how i introduced myself to this person i seriously admire #anyway im wearing the cock socks today #and i got to tell that girl to shorten her speech so yknow what thats power on my part
