I know you've written about similar things before a little but I am sick with a cold rn and I have no idea what is going on but its like I've been blasted with dottore fixation juice.

Dotties morning voice is just so... mghanhgh... he grumbles in your ear from behind about some idiot that spilled a valuable substance on even more valuable notes, nibbling on your earlobe just a little while his arms are wrapped around your waist and grasping at your shirt.

Nearly growling right in your ear as you try to get up to go to the bathroom, he already has so little freetime to sleep with you, now you're trying to leave? When you whine and pout like a puppy, begging him to come cuddle with you for days and when he finally gives in you try to leave?! (No you aren't leaving for the next hour at least, you're gonna have to hold it in.)

Ah... and being sick right now. Its nothing serious but half the time I sit around feeling half dead... I should be drinking lots of water and resting but I don't wanna! He needs to force you into bed and under the sheets, grumbling with an annoyed frown on his face. I don't like soups very much either... especially the ones meant for when you're sick, they're just icky! He tells you to shut up and eat because you're not gonna get any better running around like a headless chicken while also spreading your disease to his underlings. If you still adamantly refuse he will not hesitate to just grab your face and shove the spoon into your mouth...

Little baby zandik is worried about you and wants you to read him a story but your voice is too hoarse to do that... Dottore scoffs at his child self but allows him near you. Baby zandik happily cuddles with you even if your breath is raspy and your body shivers but skin is too hot.

Obviously I love softie and secretly a sweetie dottie but I've been going circles with a quiet and always seemingly irritated dottie... he obviously loves you and worries for you but he's not gonna start babying you! It's just something about that kind of quiet dominance... where he can only give you a disapproving shake of his head when you do something dumb, or that disappointed dad tone when you hurt yourself... villain who's secretly sweet for their lover is always cute but grumpy x sunshine is a very close second... I think I may have accidentally made him sound mean and uncaring? I mean it in a way that he acts kind of like that but he really does love you!! Idk how to explain and I'm really just going off on my sick brain rambles rn... 😔 I wish dottie was real I need a mean cuddle buddy who bites me when I say something stupid...

Gonna kinda be alil organized rambling about my MHA oc Nozomi Hoshino...

I've figured out that I could split Nozomi's timeline from canon at the Overhaul arc

This is because instead of letting Big Sis Mag stay dead (aka figuring out how the LOV healer would be unable to revive a teammate within a day) Nozomi can just be there for the meeting and revive Mag then get carried off

You may ask how that may impact the rest of canon, but you see, I feel Mags might just take a lil break after glimpsing the afterlife

And everyone would still want revenge for their harmed allies

Also the League is packed into Nozomi's apartment while they find a new hideout. Which they very much don't enjoy because it's a tiny one bedroom.

and by don't enjoy, I should specify that they don't like sleeping in a chaotic pile in the tiny living room while Nozomi sleeps in their bed XD

I've also thought about the time before MVA would be easier on the League because they can just crash in the apartment and Nozomi would fund food/ new clothes with whatever savings they have.

I've also considered how to get Nozomi to Twice during the PLF/ War arc; One way being they're on the way out of the villa to visit Tomura and they happen upon Hawks and Twice. Another way is that Nozomi gets Hawks on the league's side because hearing someone else's pov on being a commission hero might help him break from their bs.

I'm leaning to the second scenario because I want to let Nozomi burn down the Commission as a treat. So instead of Redestro fucking their shit, it's Nozomi backed by Dabi and Hawks completely demolishing the disgusting establishment.

It's the villian hunt/ final arc canon that fucks me over in the long run because yes, I can succeed in keeping the League alive, but coming up with reason why the League would still end up in that situation is hard.

I could get Twice arrested with Compress, but would that mess with our sweet Toga's mindset? Would she be as vengeful with Twice's blood? Or would she be more dangerous with it because hatred doesnt seep into her quirk and thus allows her league doubles to have their quirks? Would Toga go confront Ochako after the raid?

Tomura's still fucked, but I feel like he'd fight against AFO harder because Nozomi is insufferably clung to his side trying to keep him comfortable.

Dabi is still Dabi, but he probably doesn't see Shoto's silhouette as Twice???

Also, as I said about Nozomi's quirk evolution during war arc being probably an AOE healing field, I like imagining the cave stay with AFO being funny as hell because Nozomi's just putting up the field and because they fucking HATE AFO, he gets none of the effect while everyone else is just *refreshed*. I'm sure he'd be amused by it...

But yea, I'm alil stumped by the final arc also because my sweet healer can't be in each area, and they'd rather be by Tomura's side as much as he doesn't need them by that point.

Though I feel like Tomura would be reassuring Nozomi alot during the time in the cave, like sitting outside looking at the stars with them or just squishing them in his little hiding hole

Also during that mutation scene after stars and stripes and Spinner is alil freaked, but considering going to Tomura. Yea, I know Nozomi would go running in there, unconcerned about getting hurt because Tomura's comfort is more important. I think Spinner would try to stop them at first but they'd yank away.

Also Spinner, Nozomi, and Tomura are all gaming buddies. Spinner and Nozomi would bond more at the PLF villa while Tomura's tubed. Everything after is alot of them comforting eachother because they are the two most loyal to Tomura (who also owns their hearts).

Also I really want Nozomi to fight AFO!Tomura, trying to get Tomura back in the driver's seat, but that may be alil impractical .3.

I have thought about splitting from canon later in plot, but I'm going for more of a 'the league lives' ending. Not that I'm not tempted to make a 'bad end' alt fic that's more canon compliant. If only because I would love to torture every single hero with Nozomi's vengeance. But thinking of how to get around canon is hard but fun at the same time. Especially when I think of the angst and fluff XD

Day 3 of Redacted "What Ifs"- Mafia au (Part One)

CAUTION- LONG POST

So this was very widely requested, which I was NOT opposed to. Except for the fact that the only couple I had in mind was Gavin and FL. SO- Imma try to explain how I have the main groups set up first, then I’ll explain the individual character’s roles, and after that, I'll Explain how each of the couples met.

The Damn Crew is their own group of freelance mercenaries (Ik I’m so funny). They don’t belong to any clans or packs, they just get hired for different jobs and collect their money. The Shaw Pack is one of the bigger mafia groups as well as The Solaire Clan. Usually, packs and clans don’t get along with each other that well (woah werewolf and vampire drama) but, when David was a kid, Gabe established a peaceful friendship with The Solaire Clan (Gabe and William were buddies).

Freelancer- In this au, FL is a cold, but caring leader. They crack jokes and laugh with their group, but on the job, they have a stone-cold expressions. They prefer solo missions, and despite some worries, they know that the rest of their group can handle themselves. They also don’t care for distractions, which Damien and Huxley definitely provide on the job.

Gavin- This man is always cracking jokes, and unlike the rest of the Damn Crew, Gavin isn’t in it for the money. He’s more in it for… the food. Yea, this man does it with his targets and then kills/kidnaps/whatever he was hired to do to them. Best way to get a “quiet” death or at least be able to get away before anybody dared to go into the room they were in. He’s still against forcing it on people (which is why he only ever takes up targets he knows to have an attraction to him) as well as he is against shape-shifting for them. Surprisingly, he still gets enough jobs to sustain himself. He’s also more of an asshole than he was in the og story (I haven’t seen the second episode in so long, I forget how much of an ass he was).

Huxley and Damien (despite me loving them so much, there's not much to talk about them so this is the only time I’ll talk about just them)- Damien is usually serious when it comes to the job, but he can’t help but smile when Huxley is there with him. Huxley pretty much is there just to flirt and bash some heads in. When he actually focuses on Damien though, he goes into a full gay panic and completely stops doing what he’s doing. It’s okay though because they both put 100% trust in each other during missions. They just simply say the other’s name, and they’re right there next to each other. Think of Millie and Moxxie from Helluva Boss and how well they work together.

Lasko- Lasko is too nervous/scared to pull the trigger on anybody, so he does his best to organize his group and get jobs for everyone. He originally got into the whole mafia thing after meeting and periodically dating Gavin (yes Ik it wasn’t explicitly said in the og story- just heavily implied- but it's canon here so be happy :D). Despite his thinking that FL should represent their group when getting jobs he usually meets the bosses. FL has been trying to get him out of the house so this is the only way they could find to get him to touch some grass. Most of the bosses are amused by him and some even see him as a friend (Gabe before yk- and William), while others think he’s pathetic (don’t be mean to our boi >:v).

Lasko’s Listener- LL is pretty similar to FL, though they show a lot more mercy to their targets, making their target’s death fast (FL enjoys the chase). They have the SOFTEST soft spot for Lasko though. Any moment Lasko is in danger/uncomfortable, LL is there. They are the most protective out of the group over Lasko which is why FL let them stay and eventually grew fond of them.

Imma do this as a cool lil' narrative bc I already explained their characters.

Freelancer(you) and Gavin-

You had just finished cleaning up the blood off of your dark suit, "If they'd just hand over the damn money, it wouldn't be so hard," you mumbled. After a few minutes of polishing your favorite pistol, you got up and began to do a sweep of the room. You made sure there was no evidence of your arrival and looked for any loose money or safes. Eventually, you found a suitcase that you estimated to have the amount of money you needed. Hastily, you went to check on the mysterious man that Lasko had told you would be on the job with you.

You didn't know much about the man, Lasko seemed more reluctant to give information about him than he usually was. He had only said one thing, "Make sure he gets the job done. His tactics are... unconventional." From there, your friend was too flustered to give any more information, and you just assumed he had a "history" with the man. It was obvious.

"Why did this have to be a double mission?" You ask yourself, rushing down the hallways of the hotel, "I could have done it myself. I don't need some whore of a mercenary to help me out with killing a set of two ignorant people." Later, you'd find out how accurate that word choice was. The mercenary would not be ashamed to hear you called him such a name.

Once you arrived, you didn't hesitate to open the door and walk in. The bathroom light was the only light that was on. On the bed, was a dark stain, and as you took a deep breath in you smelt the overwhelming metallic scent of blood. Somebody had died in here.

Gripping your pistol, you took a step forward. Feeling, your foot kick something, you notice there are clothes sprawled out around the room, "Oh. My. God," you thought.

Moving toward the bathroom, you saw a figure. Quickly, you rushed towards the figure. Before you knew it, your pistol was against his forehead, and his claws were wrapped around your neck.

"Who are you?" the man asked.

"The one making sure you finish the job. I can see how that went for you," you gestured to his... everything, he was barely clothed, and his body was covered in hastily healing wounds. He was some form of demon. Putting two and two together, you could tell what kind of demon he was.

Realization dawned on his face before his smile turned to a devilish one, "Oh, you're with that airhead, aren't you?"

You never thought your hand could grip tighter on the gun. Anger filled your veins, but you still fought to keep a straight face. You stepped forward, and with his claws unyielding, you pressed the cold end of the gun to his face. "Don't. call him that," you spoke in a calm, threatening tone.

He laughed and pulled his hand away from your throat, still scratching the sides of your neck gently, "I like you."

"Who are you?" You ask, unphased.

"I'm Gavin, but a beautiful creature like you can call me Gav," he smirked as if he thought he got you with that one.

"...And what are you?"

"I think you know very well what I am, voyeur. Though, If you need reminding, I'm an Incubus, and you?" His tone was condescending, but you had taught yourself not to react to such antagonization.

"First of all, don't call me that, and if you must know, I'm a freelancer."

"A freelancer... Eh? Well, I still prefer voyeur, so I'll stick with that."

You lower your gun and break eye contact with him for the first time since you saw his figure in the fluorescent bathroom lights. Looking away, you hear sirens. "We've wasted too much time, get some clothes on and we're reporting back to our employer."

Lasko and Lasko's Listener-

I don't know how to do a narrative for this one and it's 12:24 am for me so Imma just explain it (I'm so sorry I wanted to write this as a narrative but I have no ideas for it). Also, LL is Lasko's Listener-

So I'd think the two would meet each other outside of work. LL would ask him out on a date and the whole catastrophe would happen and it's canon here bc I loved it. Eventually, Lasko and LL would meet when he's signing up FL for a mercenary job that has an extra spot needed (hehehe get where I'm going?). So basically they both find out that they partake in the same craft and Lasko starts helping LL. After a while, FL finds out and goes on a few missions with LL and allows them to join their group.

So yea- I'm sorry this was such a long post, I will post parts two and three later, but most likely tomorrow and Thursday. Then I'll take a break and post day 4 on Saturday.

This wasn't as late as I'd thought it'd be so that's good I guess lol.

um hi hello i LOVE THEM YOUR HONOR!! was i hoping that they would become a thing? yes absolutely. have i been screaming with Ri ( @feiry ) about them? absolutely. will i get more annoying? oh you fuckin' betcha. them sitting there being cute and fucking weird was just...cherry on top my dudes. but also made me think of lilly from pitch perfect and how she mentioned absorbing her twin and just...love that for crystal. ✨amazing✨ but also am i surprised misty was lowkey chill with the feast? no. no i was not cause that little freak def' read silence of the lambs and ✨thought about it✨. which like...okay i get it. but i was no way surprised by the chillness and how they just sat there talking about it.

moving away from the weird with them, but can we give crystal some credit for helping misty get out of her lil shell?? like i def' don't think misty would have even done anything for shauna's baby shower if she hadn't felt comfortable enough to do so aka the encouragement from crystal. was it smart to reenact that particular scene from steel magnolias? no, that was...something else. but i do like that the others did seem to like it after the initial "is she really doing this??" which was great and nice to see. even from mari who i for sure thought was gonna stop misty some how, but she surprised me.

Misty and Walt;

adult misty is gETTIN' A FRIEND AND I'M HAPPY FOR HER!! but my word i love that walt didn't even question her, much, with wanting to ask about natalie. he just "yea okay sure" and i do love their similarities and that misty is really getting to look in the mirror with him because he is def male misty and i love it. what i also love is that he's a seemingly a complete stranger, someone she's only ever interacted with through the forums and yet....he's willing to help her. unlike shauna and tai who should want to help find natalie but they've got their own issues going on so all is forgiven there.

however...i don't completely trust walt. his eagerness to help misty could turn out to be nefarious but i do hope that that is not the case nor that walt is a love interest i'm sorry walt blogs sd;klfj like i do hope that misty gets to have a lil buddy that goes around and solves crimes with her!!

Ah fuck, turns out Mom being sick might have actually been ✨ traumatic✨ And let me with shitty coping skills. I can’t handle all the stress of college and am taking the next year off. I never thought I’d be weak enough to need it, but my brain is at its fucking limit and i need to scrape through the last 5 weeks of this semester. I was worried about going batshit crazy over working at a job i don’t really like, but I’ve been doing that for a minute now, and i thought school was a distraction

needing to take it slow doesn’t make you weak at all buddy. i’m currently on a semester break as well, so i understand what you’re going through. it’s a hard decision to make but let me tell you, you’re doing the right thing and any second invested in your mental health is NEVER wasted time.

i wish i could help you when it comes to the friends issue, but all i can say is you’re not alone. finding friends is really fucking hard, but you’re not the only one struggling with it. many of us can relate with you and we all believe in you either way. you’ll find friends and you’ll find happiness <3

Inuyasha Characters As Roomates

In honor of yashahime’s release i’ve decided to post this for no real reason.Can you tell who my bias is lmao. Lmk if I should do a Part 2 with the people I missed. Also I apologize I haven’t updated in like a year I have a post addressing this coming up soon. Thank you for your continued support despite the fact that I’ve been updating infrequently, I really appreciate it. Without further ado:

Inuyasha

You want Inuyasha as your roommate???Chile anyways...

No but fr tho in general Inuyasha isn’t an awful roommate, he pays his bills on time(ususally), doesn’t make too big of a mess but that’s just because he owns like 3 things and 2 outfits.

No, the real problem with Inuyasha is that he is LOUD

You walk outside to throw the trash away and he’s in his room screaming about a video game or something and the WHOLE neighborhood can hear him. 

People pokin they head out in concern and everything

Another time he was watching a horror movie and you guess the characters did something stupid because you hear a scream from the character and then Inuyasha screaming “WHAT THE FUCK, WHY WOULD YOU GO THAT WAY DUMBASS! THAT’S WHY YOU’RE DEAD NOW!”

Shit woke you up out of your sleep

After that incident you knew you’d have to ask him to be a bit more considerate of your eardrums.

So, you ask him to quiet down and he pouts like a child and huffs and puffs.

He does quiet down tho...for about 2 minutes until he stubs his toe on the end of the couch

She’s a saint

If it were up to Inuyasha your groceries would consist of a cabinet of ramen like the man has the budget for ramen and paying his share of he bills why would he spend money on things like fruit???

This is where Kagome comes in, she comes by pretty regularly and she brings food or groceries because she of all people knows how terrible Inuyasha’s shopping habits are.

Bless her soul truly and every time she does this you thank her lmaoo

Inuyasha eventually does move out with Kagome but he does apologize for being loud before he leaves, you aren’t sure if he did that on his own or if Kagome made him do that

She’s so sweet

Fair share of chores, groceries, she cooks for yall sometimes, truly a saint

Only 2 problems:

Ms. Girl has no moneyyy

Poor Kagome, she always tries to pay her bills on time but between trying to feed Inuyasha, helping out her family, and school the paycheck only spreads so thin(She does eventually quit school to start working more but)

Nothing wrong with this but you do end up having to cover for her sometimes.

She of course thank you and you don’t usually mind and your routine was functional for you two, until you meet problem number 2 

The loudest mf on the planet Earth, her boyfriend, Inuyasha

One day you’re in he kitchen grabbing something to eat and you hear pounding on the door like the police showed up.

You proceed cautiously because...what the fuck and you almost reach the door before you hear 

“I’ll get it!”

You’ve never seen Kagome run faster

She opens the door and you see this 5′5 mf who was banging on the door like he paid the bills

Inuyasha just has rbf but you don't know that so you think he’s making faces at you

Immediately you have a problem with him

“Hey Kagome, who’s this?”

She looks between you two before immediately rushing to introduce you to each other

“Oh, I forgot my purse be right back guys.”, Kagome left not knowing that yall were about 2 seconds from fighting

You didn’t like Inuyasha for banging on the door and glaring and he didn’t like you for glaring at him

After that you just avoided talking to inuyasha for the sake of keeping the peace

When he came over you exited stage left 

Eventually Kagome does move out with Inuyasha and she asks why you and Iuyasha had never spoken to each other

“Are you kidding me the first day we met he was already glaring at me?!”

“Ohhh, that’s just his face, he’s really sweet promise :D”

You doubted that

You liked Kagome as a roommate but you were glad she was moving out so you could find someone who could pay the bills on time.

Sango

She a baddie ngl

Aside from that, Sango is the perfect roommate

However, I hope you aren’t allergic to cats or Miroku because they’re pretty much a package deal

Also hopefully you don’t hate children because she does have Kohaku to worry about

But she makes pretty good money at her job so expenses aren’t a issue

She also isn’t home too often between her job, taking care of Kohaku and Kirara, and her relationship

She ends up spending more and more time at Miroku’s place anyways

Sango finally moves in with Miroku when she gets pregnant, yall still keep in touch tho because you’ve become good friends

And thus you say goodbye to the best roommate to ever grace this Earth lmao

Miroku

Miroku is the shortest lasting roommate on this list

Mans is a little creeper pervert and that shit gets annoying after a while

You’ll be walking out the shower and Miroku’s standing there like “hey lil mama lemme whisper in ya ear”

Needless to say you smacked the taste outta his mouth and he stopped with that real quick

He stops but you’re surprised when you see Sango come over 

Your hand starts itching with the urge to slap him again...

You meet Sango and what she sees in him is... baffling, scientists to this day still don’t understand 

Baby girl, you’re Sango do better, self love

Anyways, Miroku moves out eventually and he takes his nasty ass ways with him

Later you find out that Sango moved in with him and sje’s gon have a baby by him

But you know that’s none of your business 

Koga

If you thought Inuyasha was loud...

Inuyasha doesn’t have any friends, Koga has a wolf pack...

Parties all the time good luck homie

If you were tryna study, sleep, do work, etc. best wishes lmao

You come home and mans got 2 random people over like how ya doin   O-O

“Hello”

“Where’s Koga?”

They point to the kitchen and you head here ready to just “talk” with Koga

He turns around and gives you the cutest smile known to man and you immediately lose your will to argue

Can’t argue with a man that beautiful sorry...

Anyways besides being loud af, Koga is HYPER

Mans is up at 5 am knocking on your door like “hey you wanna jog to the gym”

“No Koga, goodnight”

‘No problem, it’s the morning btw!”

He’s actually a decent roommate and he moves into a bigger house with his friends and calls it the ‘pack house’

He actually invites you to come move in w him and his buddies 

You tell him you’ll think about it

Sesshomaru

The king of “I’m better than you”

He has his life so well together and you’ve gotta give him props

Mans is basically Caspar the Friendly Ghost of roommates 

Does he actually live here? the lights stay on and his name is on the deed so... I guess

Seriously tho, Sesshomaru doesn’t need a roommate but he does need someone to mind Rin

You might ask, what about Jaken, Jaken is busy (following Sesshomaru) or so he claims

Sesshomaru isn’t too bad honestly he covers the majority of the expenses in exchange for you watching Rin and feeding Ah-Un

So you’re basically Rin’s stay at home nanny

But you don’t mind because she is a SWEETHEART

Ah-Un isn’t too bad, just feed 2 lizards

(Although depending on who you are feeding them bugs might be your worst nightmare)

Jaken and you buttheads all the time, it’s almost comical

The times you interact with him mainly consist of you telling him to leave Rin alone or him telling you something Sesshomaru said

Speaking of Sesshomaru you don’t see him often and the only times you hear from him are in the form of notes he leaves around the house to the degree of ‘I fed Ah-Un this morning’ or ‘Make sure Rin takes her vitamins’ 

The other times you “hear” from him are when Jaken comes by saying things like ‘Lord Sesshomaru has requested that you prepare Rin to go out’

And for a while you were like who tf does he think he is because like yea he pays most of the rent but like he isn’t paying you for this so why does he think he can order you around indirectly

The first time you see Sesshomaru, it’s late and Rin’s been asleep for hours.

You walked into the kitchen and didn’t bother with turning the lights on but then you heard the smallest shuffle and a groan

And the moonlight comes through the window at the perfect angle and it reflects so beautifully off his silver hair

He turs some and you see his face and immediately take back all the times you’ve cussed him out mentally

And the you realize you’re in your pajamas staring at this man you’ve never met before that’s sleeping on the couch. For all you know he could be some random guy who broke in

He looks so peaceful that you loathe to disturb it but you poke at him w a stick and he groans out something to the tune of “Go away Jaken”

“I’m not Jaken”

He immediately sat up and stared at you like he was trying to figure out who you were in his head for a moment 

“Don’t you want to sleep in your room?” you asked him. He stood up and begun to walk towards his room in response 

You just watched him walk away but before he turned the corner into the hallway you swear you heard him say “You should get some sleep too.”

Fic ideas I have rattling around in my head that I need to write down somewhere but don’t want to commit a whole doc to all of them (this got longer than I thought):

1. Trans Childe Usopp meeting Kaya through her parents. As a child one of them is his primary care physician (which would make sense with such a small town) and he goes regularly for hormone blockers (trans boy hours).

2. The Hair One (self insert town) THIS incredible image which Usopp looks very attractive in gave me this idea:

Pre-TS: Something something he has to let his hair down because his bandana got damaged or lost. Next island they go to everyone’s like “wow he’s so attractive”. Maybe a comedically large group of girls following him around or something. Sanji’s dying because it’s extremely unfair (in his mind) for Usopp to get all the attention. Has a scene where Usopp is trying to buy a new bandana and the doorway of the shop is blocked by bodies.

I could turn this into an usolu fic where Luffy realizes his feelings once Sanji starts bringing up the idea of dating any of the people smitten over Usopp, but honestly I just want to make a whole town that’s a self insert of how I felt the first time I saw this image. Sorry to folks who don’t think this is a great look but I’m different.

3. The Long One (Luffy’s Response to Realizing Usopp has Feelings) Back before @ruskaina​​ wrote the very cute impossible and self-imposed, they posted some excerpts and were asking for help. The following is my response and some bits from the resulting conversation with @bartolomeo-the-cannibal​​ (natsu)

I think you could definitely go the route of Luffy not being flustered because he doesn’t realize why it affects Usopp so much/that Usopp’s actions have certain meaning. When it’s all fun and games you can go pretty far with friends for the lols. I definitely remember being a teen and like playing the “are you uncomfortable yet” game and stuff. But when there are feelings involved everything gets a little more vulnerable. 

And then once he realizes he could be inexperienced with what to do with someone’s crush on him. Or not wanting to hurt Usopp’s feelings. Or he wasn’t aware that was even on the table and now has to think about it some (which is significant for him since he acts more on instinct. But crew and crushes can be delicate matters and he knows this now.)

I think what I’m getting at is that my answer to “what is something Luffy wouldn’t expect Usopp to do” is Usopp be serious (maybe in a moment of goofing off) about his own feelings.

Luffy cares about his crew and I think someone having feelings for him and being serious about it would be something he’d take seriously.

Usopp’s already so insecure pre-ts, imagine the internal conflict having a crush on your captain/the future pirate king

natsu:  it would be super conflicting cause yea he's the captain but he's also his silly buddy usopp hunts beetles with. it's easy to forget luffy is so important, and the captain.

which is why water 7 happened lol

me:  He would! But I wonder if Usopp would downplay the feelings and kind of play it off to satisfy luffy’s curiosity (because he thinks that’s the only thing Luffy could feel about romance ) And Luffy letting him go but Usopp being like “well fuck guess the cat’s out of the bag and he doesn’t return my feelings”

natsu: usopp: i gotta go immediately

me: I think Luffy’d know Usopp was lying to some extent but let him go because he’s clearly very uncomfortable. And yeah I could see Luffy pushing but maybe he still worries about water 7. Just a lil bit. Or something.

Luffy doesn’t know how romantic shit works! He only knows about the romance of adventure!

Luffy would usually bring something up immediately but this time is different from when like vivi was trying to be a martyr or whatever. And Usopp’s not about to bring it up again!! Luffy clearly didn’t return the feelings! And jeez was he just a fool for getting a crush on Luffy anyway? Like what kind of dream is brave warrior of the sea in the face of pirate king? Luffy was the sun and Usopp was just a normal guy! And yes they were also friends and he knew Luffy loved him just like Luffy loved the rest of the crew. But romance felt different. Or at least, the lead weight in his gut right now felt different. Damn, why had he said anything in the first place?

natsu:  ahhhhhh! ok. get them outta that! how does usopp realize luffy DOES like him

me:  They get over the initial awkwardness some Luffy asks Usopp or other people about romance and what it feels like (Sanji is incredibly unhelpful but is the first person Luffy goes to)

Luffy has a hard time figuring out how a crush/SO is different from a good friend (maybe this is when he asks Usopp because usopp’s the only one he knows who has a crush. It goes....kind of okay)

Usopp starts trying to let go of his feelings. Not read into Luffy’s behavior, not hope. Starts actively countering the thoughts in his head.  Meanwhile Luffy is mulling things over, kind of developing a sense of romance, maybe an appreciation of it. Thinks it could be nice to kiss Usopp (he’s seen robin and Franky do it and they’re married so that’s probably a couples thing).

Usopp practically convinces himself he doesn’t have feelings anymore! It’s fine! It’s not hard at all! It doesn’t hurt at all!!!!!

Something happens. Could be life threatening, could be mundane. But suddenly Luffy’s like “I’ve got a pit in my stomach and I’ve literally never felt this it’s fucking awful” He goes to chopper. Nothing’s wrong. He goes to Sanji. Nothing new with the food for allergies to be a concern. Besides: it’s Luffy. He sees Usopp (laughing, being gorgeous, goofing off, tinkering, whatever. Something that’s like “oh yeah that’s Usopp and something to appreciate about him”) Luffy finally goes to Usopp and is like “hey I think you’re giving me a stomach ache?” And Usopp’s like “oh NO I’ve given Luffy anxiety!!!” But they talk and fumble and realize Luffy has a crush on Usopp and Usopp has one back (still, ofc) and it’s happily ever after.

4. Wedding: They’re getting maaaarried! Born from the same conversation with natsu (in fact it transitioned in almost immediately after the above).

Luffy wants to officiate but Nami won’t let him. Nami is Luffy’s best “man”, Sanji is Usopp’s, Zoro officiates. Franky and Brook bawl their eyes out. Chopper is the ring bearer, maybe with Robin. Nami has a deathhawk and wears a suit. 

Vows:  

Luffy: I’ve got two kinds of stomach ache. One is for food one is for Usopp Usopp, crying as they exchange rings: that’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever said 

Their wedding audience: the fuck?
