Tottington is such a great character. I love her outfits and her kindness and her autistic whimsy :) such an icon.

I rlly like how the color green was used in this movie for some reason. Yknow? With the brainwashing and the veggies? I like it, shout out to the color green :)

I'm sure we all know this rn, but I'm just crackers about dirty jokes! So yeah safe to say that the secret garden scene was definitely one of my fav parts hehehehehehe~

Honestly. As a child, I yearned for the horrors. Like, if yall seen my Itthigss au, you'd know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I love the body horror of Wallace becoming the rabbit. I love the horror of both Wallace and Hutch slowly losing themselves as the movie progresses. I love the horror of Gromit realizing that the beast the townsfolk want to kill is his closest friend (imagine if Gromit could still see his master's facial features behind all that fur, he can see his friend, but now it looks so wrong and unnatural). And I definitely think that if Hutch looked realistic, he'd look uncanny and horrifying. Like, both Hutch and Wallace have been shaped the wrong way, they wouldn't look natural anymore. Now, they're a otherworldly man-made horrors. Imagine how scary it is, knowing that a part of you is in the wrong place, and it affected the other person's way of living.

ive finally decided. each slugcat that goes with each member of the chain

now i originally panicked thinking "oh fuck theres only 9 and inv would horribly mischaracterize whoever i threw them with because theyre basically just known as the dating sim one what do i do" (for context the dating sim is a feature added once you finish inv's campaign as a joke) but then i remembered the watchers existence so everything is great

oh yeah i threw the chart of them with each slugcat and the color i associate each one with at the bottom, and the slugcats themselves !! :)

Four is Monk because I just think it fits, a silly little guy, so why not?? (i secretly didnt know who would fit him and monk seemed like the best choice)

Hyrule is Survivor because Survivor is the sort of the mascot of Rainworlds AND everyone is based on their design, which is kinda what I see Hyrule as!!

Twilight is Hunter because Hunter's campaign is fairly hard,, atleast for a newgen ☹️ i got killed by like every monster and that reminded me how when i started playing twilight princess i gave up on the top of the castle because the birds kept killing me.

Wild is Gourmand because Gourmand can mix food and it gives him an extra food pip, which sorta relates to how Wild can cook food and its more hearts than the ingredients mixed in it are

Legend is Artificer because both are more closed off due to trauma of losing people they love </3 they could never make me hate you Artificer (shes been one of my favs since last year (i drew ship art of her and hunter to annoy my friend once as a joke even if the two characters NEVER MET and then i became an artificer fan LMAO))

Wind is Rivulet because.. well ive already yapped to you about this but Rivulet and Wind are kinda.. both already water related in their stories but also both care about the people they love!! Rivulet considers the character Looks to the Moon as their mom and their campaign is basically just helping her and Wind saves his sister in Wind Waker :3

Sky is Spearmaster because Spearmaster has a special ability of holding two spears, which i just think is cool and i was like "huh sky was kinda the one who helped forge the master sword (correct me if im wrong LMAO)" but also comes with a downside because.. Spearmaster cannot eat normally. they have to use the spikes they form from their tail to drain the nutrients out of creatures ☹️

Time is Saint for ACTUALLY THE PERFECT REASON???? basically once you reach karma 10 (im not 100% sure what karma even is but its earned through playing the game) you become a god and have the ability to kill everything with one hit (compared to before where you couldnt even pick up a spear) but when you ascend and end the campaign you end up in the same place as before, restarting the cycle.

Warriors is *checks notes.* thats? not a released character yet thats an upcoming DLC- who cares hes The Watcher/Nightcat because they technically arent canon outside of arena yet and haha thats like battling. hyrule warriors is battling mainly. see it matches it matches it fits its fits,,!! Everything i like about trtf4

Hi! If you've seen my other posts, you know the deal by now. I talk about a trtf game, and all the things i like about it with not a single backhanded compliment.

Admittedly, trtf4 isn’t favorite in volume 1; It's a very rushed game and because of that, there's a lot of bits of it I'm not too fond of. However, this doesn't mean I'm not gonna try to make this post work. As is the case with all these games, there are things to love about it. Even at the series' lowest point for me, I still have a lot of good to say about it. Let us begin, then.

Firstly, I do wanna say that I like lockjaw's design in this game. Yeah, trtf3 lockjaw is iconic, but this one is probably just better. I especially like all the ways he's posed and rendered in the game, always being in this sort of shambling zombie pose, and even shambles in your office when he gets there. It's honestly a really cool way to utilize a human animatronic, having him resemble an undead, and I kinda hope there are more TRTF remakes that use him like this.

also the intro cutscene is hype as hell and i LOVE it. the lights flashing on, the entire building shaking, like that kinda stuff is just SO COOL.

also these two. i like them. both bears. me like

VINCENT VINCENT V mm ahem lemme explain... so this character is purple freddy, a hallucination that can appear in your office and. instantly kill you. A lot of people default to calling him shadow freddy, which i get, but..... like if you think of it this could probably actually be vincent. its a freddy suit. its purple. vincent is purple and wore those. and because gron's corpse is supposedly in the location he's probably here because he knows his best friend is somewhere around the location and hes tryihng to find him and oooogh...... sniff.... my probably-not-canon-headcanon is making me cry.... i miss you so much vincent....

AND ALSO having night 6 end by having Golden lockjaw unavoidably kill you is uber cool, i liked it in sister location too, and it made me realize that i kinda wish more fangames did stuff like that

Spring and Foxy talked a little bit more about Madison before Chica came running back, Atom running after her as she turned and hid behind Spring, trash already lost during the chase “CHICA!” The gold brown rabbit looked at the man “Calm down will ya?” He said crossing his arms already finding this to be ridiculous “Calm down!?” Are you serious?? She’s running around eating trash! How can I be calm about that??” Atom squawked already feeling a migraine coming on “I don’t know, have you tried breathing through your mouth and out your nose?” The owner just looked at him absolutely dumbfounded with hints of disbelief that this rabbit didn’t seem to see the problem here “What’s that got to do with anything??” Foxy looked at Atom while Chica remained hidden as much as possible “You know, its what some people do to calm down” Spring said tilting his head since this guy didn’t seem to understand what he was saying. Atom let out a deep sigh “You know what, screw it, this is a waste of my time” the man pitched the bridge of his nose for a second before he turned his back to the bots “Just! Come on Spring, I’ll show you what you need to do, once I leave Chica is Your problem for the night” he walked off and eventually Spring did follow him when he looked at Foxy and then Chica.

“So, in this really weirdly located sort of….office I guess?? You have many monitors, this is the surveillance, use this old clunky tablet to flip through the camera’s that are not on the monitors, those are the outside camera’s. If somebody breaks in it is up to you to scare them off or if there’s too many people that don’t scare off easily you’ll have to alert the other animatronics to get into a secure room before you close yourself in using these doors and funny buttons next to the doors, one button opens the door and the other closes it. Once everyone is secure you have to open that clear case right there thats located under the desk, once its cover is removed just click the button and it will alert the police. Also the tablet has audio functions with a few prerecorded audio’s on it like barking dogs, men shouting, glass breaking, police sirens, alarm system and gun shots. You can play these audio’s over the available speakers that are in a lot of rooms if you would like to try to scare them off that way. Note any audio played from this tablet will be VERY loud because I haven’t had time to fix its volume levels when it comes to playing these audio’s……actually can you even use a tablet??” Atom asked looking at Springs hands, a tablet was touch screen so whether the animatronic could actually use it was unknown currently “I should be able to” Spring picked up the tablet and indeed it seemed pretty old but functional as it booted up and the bot was greeted with a few camera’s and audio icons that showed which speaker was in which room. Spring touched the flat screen flipping through a few camera’s just to see if it would react to his touch and funny enough it did without a problem “Well at least that works” the man said before he went on “As for taking on people who refuse to leave but are alone, in theory you should be fine to man handle them but try not to injure them, I’ve heard of people suing the people they tried to rob just because they got hurt on that persons property” Spring looked confused upon hearing that statement “Huh? That makes no sense and breaking in and robbing is against the law so how can one sue when themselves broke the law?? They would get charged upon even admitting that to any person of the law” Atom just shrugged “I don’t know man, I just know it happened once and part of me isn’t sure that wasn’t fake news, I’m pretty sure that got made up because the news channel it played on was going to get the plug from lack of views until they ran that story.” Atom went on “Fake or not though, I’m not taking any chances. Now that you know what to do I’m going to leaving you a spare key so you can lock up come morning, your hours should make it so you can head back home before the kid has to wake up to go to school” he said this as he wrote down the bots hours on a piece of paper “As for pay, you will get paid at the end of each week or if preferred at the end of each month, that can be discussed later” the man put the keys on the desk before he turned and said “with all that info given to you, your on your own” Spring didn’t stop the man from leaving, actually he just relaxed a little bit as all the humans left the pizzeria and it was just the bots domain now.

When he came out of the room Chica was waiting for him “OH MY GOSH! You look great!” She said with excitement clapping her hands gently, quick and closely together “Thanks” the bot said as she walked completely around him getting a full view of his uniform “We should show the others!” Before Spring could even say anything Chica took him by the hand and forced him to walk with her in a quick fashion until they reached the others.

So far there was nothing abnormal on the bad quality camera feed when suddenly Chica appeared in the office with something in her hands “Oh! Your uniform is missing the missing piece!” He turned to her as she came close and buttoned a white plastic name tag onto his uniform “There! Now you’re perfect” she said with a cheerfulness that they all needed, to get happy about the little things instead of focusing always on ones own problems “Thanks Chica” Spring said to her easily “Oh of course hung, just let me know if you need anything throughout the night, if you need to charge at all then I can take over looking at the camera’s for a bit” she offered since she really didn’t have anything better to do “I think I’ll be fine but I’ll take you up on that offer if I need that” after that Chica and Spring talked for a bit before the rabbit heard a noise and checked the camera to only see somebody just lock picked the front door and entered the building “Looks like we got one human, I can handle this” Chica looked surprised as she heard those words, Spring left the office and with ominous background lighting to aid him he met this intruder at a very specific location, the other bots had gone elsewhere to the point this person ended up near one of the staff only doors. Spring waved as he was finally noticed by the intruder, the dim lighting illuminated him from behind “Now your not supposed to be in here” Spring said staring this person down.

MORNING STAR TIER LIST + THOUGHTS

I finished the whole bloodydamn series! Yippee! Surprised how relatively fast I sped through Golden Son & Morning Star, I never read books that quickly. As per usual, I will word vomit my thoughts at random below the cut (where obvious spoilers are abound), but I really enjoyed it! My ranking of the original trilogy is 1->3->2.

Characters: 10/10, nobody major felt weak in here, unlike the previous books where I would point out a specific character as "I pray to god this is just set up and not all they're going to do for the rest of the series." The only ones I found lacking were Ash Lord, Romulus & Harmony, but it's painfully obvious they still have future stories to explore.

Personal Enjoyment: 8/10, didn't feel as exciting as Golden Son, but don't discount it just because of that. If I read a fucking book until 2AM and it ISN'T a school required reading, then I enjoyed it.

Plot: 10/10, a great sendoff to the original trilogy while leaving things still unfinished for the rest of the series.

Overall Rating: 9/10, damn good book. Pierce Brown's writing is damn good (but that was obvious).

I think I'll start with the start. We come back from Darrow suffering™️ and see him all feral in chains, and that was uhhhhhh

After Darrow serves cunt in jail, we see Jackal and god damn is he AMAZING in this book. So worth the anticipation for him to actually do shit because every time he shows up, I'm having fun. He's just such this evil, sociopathic bitch and I love him. He's also a bit pathetic, which instantly shoots him high on the tier list for that alone. I love genuinely terrifying villains who are having fun in their roles, but are also just bitch ass hoes at the end of the day. He gets shit done, and he's so fucking scary, the ending with the nukes???? HELL YEAH THATS WHAT I WANTED FROM THIS GUY!!!

Onto another villain I perceived as disappointing throughout the series, Antonia! She redeemed herself in my eyes. She just needed a few scenes to be a piece of shit, and she did it and all of them were great. Thistle's death made me say out loud, "FINALLY!" Then her escape from prison? Wow, okayyyy slay.

Cassius was there in prison too, and damn he's phenomenal in this book. This man is so complex and so torn apart, I had such high excitement every time Cassius showed up because I had no clue what could potentially happen. I forgotten how much I loved Cassius's and Darrow's dynamic from book 1. His ending was SUCH a big twist, I had no clue what to expect as things went along. I am so glad he got his shit sort of together and realized "Hey! Bigotry bad!" I did find it hilarious how they call each other brothers but Victra's over here in the corner shipping them and I think that's iconic but also

Victra unfortunately hasn't won me over yet, but I think she's cool. Her and Sevro randomly getting married was iconic.

OH AND SEVRO this little man is just going through everything. My man remembered the series he was in and started to have some sad moments, which was great to see. I love this scamp, but on account of everything that happened to him, he definitely feels a lot less fun to see, but him randomly shitting his pants is great. I was surprised by how in depth we got with him and how he acts being forced to take a leadership position: he sucks at it. He's too chaotic like a rampaging but chaotic teenager and I think it's great! His fakeout death just... AAAAAAAAA- thank god it was a fake out death ! 😃 Anyways, Sevro shifting himself to be more red-like was a great change, I highly appreciated this bit.

Without any proper transitions, Roque! I thought he was a nifty voice for Darrow, but once he started being evil I found him pretty cool. He's sort of like the anti-Cassius in some sense where Darrow fucked up in maintaining this friendship and so you feel bad for him :( Still, the parade shit was uncalled for, and I got spoiled he commits self unalive, but that sounds oddly poetic of him to go out like that. His ending satisfied me :)

Mustang put me on edge the whole way through. I sort of expected Darrow and Mustang to sort things out and kiss at the end, but that was a bit of a rollercoaster to get here 😭 She is awesome, and I think she is at her best in this book. Her dynamics with everybody is awesome, I love her. I do fear book 4 since she became the new dictator and this is still a series and more books after this soooooo MUSTANG BETTER NOT ACCIDENTALLY FUCK SHIT UP FOR EVERYONE ELSE 😃 she already said "bloodydamn" in this book, so if she betrays darrow in book 4 (where all shit starts to go down apparently) then i will feel horribly sad

Best for last is Darrow. I love this man, he is such a compelling character. This is the best we see of him since it feels like he is running at full capacity, on account that he no longer has to act like a bitch ass gold and fully embraces being Red, the aspect that I wanted to see out of him in the first place. He can finally say "bloodydamn!" Yay! :D The whole series feels like it was building up towards building Darrow into this incarnation of himself, and I couldn't be happier. The rebellion is at full swing, so that means Reaper has got to be at full swing too.

Now that we're fully engrossed within the rebellion now, I am so thankful we got some non-golds on the team. Orion, Ragnar, and Holiday come to mind. Orion is just chill, I love her, and especially her disposition compared to other blues (BUT SHE NEVER GOT HER FUCKING PARROT). Ragnar is awesomely badass, and I will miss flipping the page and seeing lines of text in bold and thinking to myself "oh my god ragnar is here." Holiday shows up, and she's cool, I guess. I'm assuming she's only being set up here or something, BUT I find it so funny that HER of all characters gets the first f-bomb in the series. It's so random, but I guess it was to set the tone as "this book is more serious than the past ones, be prepared 😉." Eitherway, that's iconic behavior.

Characters I wanted to talk about are done. In the book we are finally in the full war of the rising, things definitely ramped up quite a bit from the harry potter hunger games of book 1. The sci-fi shit is in full display, and it's super cool. I do have a preference for the hand to hand combat scenes over the ship combat scenes. I had difficulty tracking what was happening sometimes in the ship battles due to the terminology. It still felt super frantic and adrenaline pumping, fun stuff. Walking around with lowcolors and interacting with them casually was what I wanted, I was afraid the book would focus extremely heavily on golds based on books 1 & 2. The scenes with Darrow and his family as such sweet comforts, I could do with some more fluff considering the suffering I am scared for in Iron Gold and especially Dark Age.

Overall, the book was excellent! I loved it, and I am fully endeared to the series.

Now here comes the big leap: Moving onto Iron Gold. I have been warned that Iron Gold onwards is unrelentingly angsty, everything I was so averted away from in Book 1, only people say it's somehow worse. So because of that... I am most likely going to take a break from reading everything else until I feel myself emotionally prepared. If book 1 drained me despite being the weakest in the series, I am terrified for what the future holds. When my college relents and I finish Six of Crows, then I will see Iron Gold. The rebellion still isn't over. Break the chains!

Sooo yeah! Had fun with it all! I'm glad I got back into reading thanks to this series. It's surprisingly easy to pick up once you get appropriate content warnings, and after book 1, you really sink your teeth into it and can't stop reading. Anyways, below are a few shitpost thoughts I had on the book:

• Darrow really has a damn grip on Pax, first he named a ship after him, and then their son? That's iconic, Pax's legacy of cuntiness deserves to live on 💅✨️

• I was also surprised that Virginia was the one to give birth and not Darrow.

• Mickey Mouse didn't show up :(

• Cassius's, Sevro's and Darrow's periods probably synced

• The howlers touched tips together at least once

• All of the Xenoblade Chronicles casts would fit right into this world and vice versa

• I theorize that Lysander is actually the purple guy

for seeing if you like the general vibe of the show i suggest The Wedding Job or The Bank Shot Job (both season 1) and the best ot3 episode is the iconic The Rundown Job (season 5) but there are also many individual good episodes for each pair of the ship

the first ep kinda shows its age(it first aired in 2008), but by the second episode they already have their groove on tbh, it also has the best final episode of any show ive ever seen bc they had an ideal ending in mind from the beginning and ended each season as if it might be their last just incase they got cancelled (they did, but then they also made history by winning being the first cancelled show to win a people’s choice awards the next year), and they had just enough time after they got the news to implement their ideal ending

it honestly is the most perfectly made show ive ever seen, the characterization is consistent, there’s no unnecessary contrived plot twist or weird forced drama or overly dramatic miscommunication plotlines (there’s only one sort of miscommunication b plot off the top of my head and it makes sense for the characters and was resolved at the end of the episode, it was also shockingly cute)

and every character has rich backstories and character development!!!! and by the end they feel like the same people just more mature, everything is very natural and well written

also, and this is v important to me bc im trans, it’s trans safe! there’s not any trans characters, but the one time there’s a trans joke it’s specifically about one of the guys on the team accidentally using a woman’s pass to get thru security and he gets thru by saying he’s trans and making the security guy panic about being perceived as transphobic, it’s not perfect but it aged surprisingly well tbh

also real talk they’re all queercoded as hell, like the argument could be made for nate that he’s painfully straight which is fair but tbh whatever he and sterling have going on between them is at least a little gay by season 5

anyway go watch leverage and fall in love with the ot3

(cranberry is the unfortunate and accidental middleman lol, literally) although we do most of the talking without cranberry, sort of ignoring cranberry being there. we even have a snapstreak going. i've made peace with [the idea of] his girlfriend (she turns up in his snaps but it doesnt bother me anymore!) ; i found her tiktok and spotify a while back (not that i was looking for it). she has a playlist for machete with a bunch of swiftie songs too haha. it's different from mine. i think mine got really crazy because its sort of a mix between him and some other people, too, plus some songs are just there because i like them lmao

cranberry also has a girlfriend too now, i'm friends with her, but we're not close. it was sort of rocky between us for a while, and some weird stuff and some not cool stuff happened, but we stayed friends :) if i'm being honest, she's not the first person i would ship with him, but if he's happy, i'm happy!

another friend i might have dated is still around haha. let's call him han solo, because thats who he reminds me of. he's also cranberry's best friend! (he and cranberry insisted i write a fanfic for them hehe it was hilarious and caused chaos but everything's good!) he probably knows about eli by now. my friend, let's call her luna, is the captain of the sythe x han ship, but eli exists, and she knows it. but, she'll always ship me and han, i guess. he's nice, too. we only became friends in the period after everything with mchete and cranberry, so i don't think you've ever heard of him? but we had a blast towards the end of the year. we might even go to school together next year? i don't particularly want to make major life decisions over a guy who isn't even my boyfriend, but if we do, i would be really happy :)

all in all, i suppose it is a lovely end to a chaotic but perfect year ❤ i hope everyone gets all the love they deserve and live up to their full potential! it's made me realize that life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows, heartbreaks and falling in love, but in the end, everything always works out! i don't believe in luck, just hard work 💪

When I started shipping them: i'd heard about them beforehand but i didnt know who they were until i started playing the game. probably when i got to the Do you think love can bloom? line i was like. was that necessary LOL and thats about when it cemented

My thoughts: GRRR they compliment the other so well. also they seem like pretty bad parents in 4 but i wanted to see more of that and whether it was just everything coming to a crux

What makes me happy about them: i just really appreciate the amount of trust one puts into the other & keeping the one's life in the other's hands. sooo good.

What makes me sad about them: all of mgs4 GRR. i love it it just makes me sad

Ahh, I do enjoy myself some good Cupcakke and Ayesha. I got both of em on my playlist, haha! I listen to some pretty out there music as well, if hyper-pop counts as weird. Who knows~ Anyway somehow this became Consort!Diluc and I apologize, my brain went running with this ask and it became.. this.

Anyway!

I imagine it would be a normal day like any other in Mondstadt. The city is bustling, Flora giving people cute little flower crowns to promote her flower shop, bards singing about various topics and styles, Knights of Favonius helping people find lost cats, etc etc.

In the middle of the town square, stands your current puppets (thats what I call the"vessles" in my au) , in this case the traveller. I imagine depending on the emotional connection/friendship level you have to each of your puppets, people can sometimes hear you through them. Like a walking speaker or smth.

Since the twins don't got a friendship level, its just the equivalent of maxed out. They're crafting up some condensed resin for you, since you were AFK and they knew you were going to do so anyway. They were doing their best to ignore the loud music that they are emitting whilst doing so, Timaeus and others looking at them with wide eyes.

It isn't often your non-puppets hear obvious signs of the creator themselves, ya know! Literally everyone likes listening to you, whether it's Lofi music, rock, pop, or your voice itself!

Whenever they hear your voice from one of your more connected puppets, everyone is just filled with bubbles of happiness and excitement. Like! yay! I am directly in the High Gods presence! Sorta! Not really but its stilly exciting!

This time though, its a bit more of a "Ayo what the fuck?" sort of feeling instead of the usual.

Loudly blaring from their beings, was Cupcakke, and the iconic song "Squidward Nose".

Jean? Red faced, making sure no children are in the area, hands covering her face as she does her best, and fails, to think on who "dora the explorer" is, instead thinking about her god wanting a dick apparently as large as "squidwards nose". She has the church and the sisters notate this in a book. Might be some form of holy dildo or something, who knows.

Lisa is laughing her ass off the entire time, patting her on the back as she helps annotate notable things in the song with a few of the sisters from the Cathedral. Gotta keep their holy bible updated, afterall. She is tempted to write a new thesis for the scholars at Sumeru just for kicks and giggles about how their High God could potentially be more human than formerly assumed. She has a great new evidence, after all~ then again, the scholars at Sumeru are batshit crazy, so many not.

Venti is right at the travellers side, committing the song to his memory the best he can. Definitely getting in the way of them actually crafting the Resin, much to the twin's annoyance. He is always at whoevers side when you are playing any type of music, the music is completely new to him after all. You can bet he will be doing his best to sing the song at any late night tavern performances, even if he isn't getting all the references outside the obvious sexual stuff. Its an instant hit at Angels share, not just because Venti is singing it, but because the High God apparently likes the song as well. Also because its a great song.

Speaking of Angels Share, Diluc's face, is obviously, also as red as tomato when he hears Venti reciting the song later. He enjoys very much being a puppet, and he is definitely incredibly devoted to the High God. (aka you). He has to be devoted if he wants to fully commit himself to you, and possibly be your consort if you come down to Teyvat one day! This entire situation is completely uncouth, much to his dismay. He thinks its ruining your image before he realizes it is simply expanding it. Also, he is very upset. He is packing down there, definitely. But now he is self conscious because what if squidwards nose is better? He should honestly really kick out Venti, even is he is an Archon. Its getting in the way of his business.

Kaeya and Rosaria know about Diluc's somewhat obsessive worship and desire to be your consort, and they also know exactly why thats he is so red faced and upset and Venti's song. And because they absolutely enjoy it, they keep on giving Venti bottles of alcohol for encores of the song. And more, and more. Until Diluc has to excuse himself and leave. They are laughing the entire fuckin time. They always enjoy listening to your music whenever its playing, and they definitely agree that you should play similar songs more often. Its incredibly amusing.

rivals-to-lovers with rodimus and characters like rodimus (but mostly just rodimus); being his rival and someone who antagonizes him but at the end of the day you begrudgingly respect him and know he has potential (which is painful bc hes so stupid) and as you fight side by side and save each other and help each other with your internal struggles, the passion between you blossoms into love

old-flames-who-were-evil-together-but-eventually-things-went-sour-but-then-...-you-reconnect with megatron specifically; someone who was an advisor and by his side before the war, a strategist and a major brain behind the formation of the decepticons iconic evil plots, but eventually you start to despise him for turning this thing you cared so much for into something that you neither of you wanted to begin with but both of you are so sullied by your horrible actions theres no repentance for either of you, you fuck off to some planet to escape punishment bc youre not going down like this, idk you reconnect and although you have a lot of bad blood between you theres still relief that megatron is alive and didnt get executed. in the beginning all you wanted was the best for megatron and your planet now you two are unrecognizable compated to the mechs you were before so you take comfort in each other bc who better to console him and stand by his side than someone just as horrible and tainted.

haughty-diva-and-the-person-they-'settled'-for is also a dynamic i love esp for mechs like whirl and swerve and trailcutter who see themselves as undesirable and perhaps even unattractive to others, but anyone could see they have insane chemistry with this hottie. someone who is also probably pretty bad at expressing their feelings and doesnt know how to say they like someone bc theyre used to being hit on not hitting on others.

old mechs paired with a bouncy youthful personality, opposites attract sort of thing. ratchet and magnus (sometimes megs) are my usual go-tos for this dynamic but it could work for others like tarn or kaon. theres a lot of world weary mechs to go around so i like the idea of someone who isnt so jaded paired with this type of personality, i think it can be very cute.

im partial to maternal nurturing type reader inserts, but im not sure which mech is best paired with a personality like that. a soft mommy dom if you will. not submissive but breedable. along with this, a reserved quiet but thoughtful character who is secretly sort of dumb is cute. again not sure who they would bounce off of, but i like to imagine this reader insert takes care of alien plants and doesnt have an easy time interacting with others. a blunt dry humor. more of a comic relief type.

ratbat with someone who is very much a bystander on the nemesis, perhaps a no-name maintenance bot, but one thing leads to another and he relies on this mech to be his henchman and obvs theyre gonna listen to him he's their superior but also they arent Built Different they are very much built to standard code theyre not gonna pick a fight bc even ratbat could wipe the docking bay with them 😔 cannon fodder,,,, ratbat is happy just to have someone who wont fight him on this, so he starts to see them as less of a disposable and more of a nuisance (which IS a step up) i think this sort of dynamic is also cute for starscream with a newbie seeker. someone who will listen to him and polish his heel thrusters if he demands it without grumbling and thats rare to find so he treats them to,,, less shrieking than is usual for him. will not let you die on the battlefield even if he complains that saving you is a waste of his time.

sunstreaker and sideswipe in another rivals to lovers scenario, but i see this less as rivals and more as "hardnosed mech who is unrelenting in their principles really hates these two bullies"; starting out from them being absolute menaces and just awful (as per ush) to developing a soft spot for a mech who is just as stubborn and blunt as they are in their approach and who wont leave either twin to waste away on the battlefield from an injury even if theyre like,,, reeeeally awful to them. what can i say i think the twins would appreciate a show of loyalty and camaraderie even if they pretend they dont need that sort of thing.

optimus and a creepy little con. ive done a fill for a request like this. just optimus having a soft spot for this little weirdo who has too much interest in him.

in the same vein, bumblebee with a cutesy creepy little con. someone who is sort of his opposite? the bumblebee of the decepticons, if bumblebee terrified all his fellow autobots. falls in love with him for saving them or something and now they wont leave him alone. he is reluctant to admit theyre cute bc hes a loyal autobot and they also scare him.

megatron and anyone he can hold like this

im always open to more dynamics and tropes bc its pretty clear how i write, i need a base personality to write the reader insert off of and i dont like to leave it as "they love you and thats the most important aspect of your character" i just dont think being loved is an important trait for a character to have, its an important action for them to perform and for others to perform towards them but its not a good basis for a personality

i also love dynamics that can have a lot of depth and backstory added to them so i get a feel for where the reader has been and why they are the way they are (im not partial to shy types personalities tho bc i like more assertive characters that can move the plot more with their actions/words)
