Might be a hot take as a bkdk and tgck truther here, but I find izuocha endlessly fascinating, beautiful, but also tearfully tragic.

I see their love for each other as something representative of their innocence and naivety when they only knew so little about who they were, and what was to come.
I think the main barrier of their relationship is that its rooted in how they see each other very idealistically, specifically that they're attached to the image of their Best Heroic Selves, and not the deeply selfish, destructive, freaky, and egotistical parts of them. To each other, they need to keep fulfilling that image or else that same person they looked up to would almost die in front of them, and that would be too cruel. Although that hero is still there, that same person they looked up to is not the same now because of...well...everything.
Izuku had barely even talked to girls when he first met her. She was Izuku's first ever real friend (Sorry Kats, everyone and him knows he was terrible), so he saved her in that entrance exam even if it was so dangerous. She gave a new meaning to his derogatory nickname just by being a friend that believed in him. After that, she saved him several more times (Blackwhip and Megaphone are the biggest samples iirc). It makes perfect sense that she is Deku's hero.
Ochako hardly knew what it meant to be a hero when she first got into UA. Just by reaching out to some kid tripping, she made a new friend who would then save her in that exam, then save him again in return. This boy then became someone who was always working so hard to save everyone in trouble, and she realized she wanted to be just like him too. "I want to save people"
But...Deku changes. The weight of One for All is on his shoulders and he needs someone to carry this burden with him. He continues to want to save other people at the expense of himself, still not letting his true selfishness and ego ever show- and it only grows more and more unbearable.
Then...Ochako fell in love with Himiko. Truly, relentlessly, selfishly and devotedly in love with a girl who then dies giving her blood to her- the greatest expression of love Himiko could ever give.
Not that they can't love each other because of this happening (and...so many other things oh god), I'm honestly not sure how to explain it- But them ending up together after losing that innocence and naivety? After Ochako will forever grieve the girl who showed her love in its most beautiful and ugly form? After Izuku changed so fundamentally as a person that the butterflies of a nice girl talking to you doesn't exist anymore? After that simple image of being a hero and being in love has completely changed for them both?
Even so, I believe they still love each other. There is no label I know of that can properly describe them though. They are each other's image of being a hero when it comes to saving people. Aside from Shoto, no one else can grasp the grief of the person you tried to save dying in your hands. They would no doubt try to cope with these losses together, and just try to get better together...but so much has changed. They've changed. The world changed. What are they now? Who are they now?
"What happened...to us?"
#I just think the tragedy of falling out of love for the person who represents who they Used to be is so...so painful#Kacchan isn't even here yet and it's already so complicated.#also. Izch healing together after all this would also be really nice#if u like them ending up together thats also perfectly fine too. im just a bkdk and tgck truther myself. thats kinda my whole thing#but izch forming a deep bond from their experiences and saving eachother#and maybe later on trying to date too...oh boy#and them being able to just...be more casual again. talk abt their lives and dreams together too just so they know they have each other#oh itd be so healing and beautiful#im so glad izuku talked to ochako on that cliff man oh man...#izuocha the underrated tragic love that they could've been if ppl werent so close minded abt them#only the real izch fans understand just how much these two actually mean to each other. god bless yall I swear even if I dont ship ship it#thank u to that person who wrote abt them being characters than run in parallel#that narrative structure for them is permanently in my brain. I love these two so much its no joke#my Extra hot take is that izch wouldve been treated better by the fandom if it was gay.#but we'd still agree on bkdk as the endgame after all that happened. maybe. idk this is a hypothetical.#if you switch ock and kats genders...this wouldve been a very different story and fandom. insane food for thought with this one.#ok thats my yap for the night oh god i have so many feelings about them...#evelynpr bnha#bnha#mha#my hero academia#izuocha#actually confidently putting this tag now. sorry for the angst you guys...and maybe being seen as a traitor#im a strong girl I could take on potential haters hahaha...#izuku midoriya#ochako uraraka

series masterlist -> episode fourteen

“I’m pregnant,” you finally confessed, voice breaking as you watched the faint tears that slipped from Satoru’s eyes. “I don’t wanna have this baby.”
He should’ve known why. He should’ve seen it coming—should’ve expected the next words that would come out of your mouth after announcing your pregnancy.
Yet the admission, as firm as it sounded, still tore at your chest. And the silence that followed felt deafening. His gaze flickered to your stomach, then back to your face, searching for something—understanding, hope, or maybe a way to convince you otherwise. He also seemed to be struggling with the intense contradiction of his emotions, whether to celebrate your pregnancy or whether to be horrified by it.
That was why Satoru took a shaky breath as he reached out a hand. “Y/N,” he began, stepping closer to you, “Don’t say that. We… We can figure this out. Together. Please.”
Your whole body trembled at the irony of ending your own life soon as you announced the beginning of another. But at the moment, it felt right. That jumping into the vast space beyond you was the best choice—for him, for Sachiro, for the baby, and for yourself.
But seeing the father of your children at the verge of breaking down was shaking your resolve. All the guilt, the shame. You felt it all at once.
Satoru’s hands tightened around yours the moment he was able to reach you. And before you knew it, you were being pulled down, falling straight into him as he caught you perfectly in his arms. Like you were always meant to be there. “Y/N, please…” he whispered, his hands cupping your cheeks, ocean-blue eyes swimming with desperation. “I got you. Don’t do this. Don’t give up on this baby. Don’t give up on us.”
“I can’t, Satoru,” you choked out, shaking your head. “I can’t bring a child into this mess. What kind of life could I possibly give them? What kind of life could we give them? I don’t even deserve to live.”
“You don’t understand, Y/N. Having you here with me right now is already the greatest blessing in my life,” he said quickly, embracing you even tighter as if afraid you’d slip further away. “I swear, I’ll do whatever it takes. I’ll be there every step of the way. I’ll… I’ll be a good father. I know I’ve made mistakes, Y/N. I’ve hurt you, and I’ll never forgive myself for that. But this—this is something I can do right. Let me prove it to you.”
You turned your face away, sobbing quietly. No, Satoru. It’s too late. You had heard of these same promises before, and only a fool would let herself believe it twice.
“Look at me, Y/N,” he pleaded. “Please, just look at me. I love you. I love this baby. And I’m not going to let you go through this alone. I don’t care how hard it gets—I’ll be here. I’ll stay. I’ll be the man you need me to be. And the man that I should’ve always been.”
His words hit you like a tidal wave, never once allowing you to breathe or call for his name. You were stuck underwater, fighting the strong current of emotions. Time and time again, and only Satoru Gojou was able to make you feel like this.
“I swear on everything, Y/N,” he whispered, “I’ll be better. I’ll fight for you, Sachi, and this baby every single day. Just… don’t make this decision now. Not like this.”
The vulnerability in his eyes and the sheer rawness of his plea made your heart ache. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, you saw the Satoru you had once loved—the man who would have moved mountains for the woman he had vowed to cherish. The man who pulled everything he can just to bring happiness to the woman he adored.
Your chest tightened as the weight of your decision pressed down on you, and a shiver ran through your body as if you could feel your baby’s heartbeat. “Satoru…” you whispered, your voice trembling with the fragile thread of your emotions. “I’m…”
Before you could finish, the flood of guilt, sorrow, and exhaustion eventually overtook you. And his glistening blue eyes were the last thing you saw before the world blurred and you surrendered to the darkness.
— —
Satoru stood just outside the hospital room, leaning against the cold, white wall with his face buried in his hands. His heart was pounding and his thoughts were nothing but a chaotic mess. He had almost lost you—again. This time, in a way he hadn’t even anticipated.
Footsteps echoed down the corridor, and when he looked up, it was your older sister, Gen, who was walking toward him, her face a mix of concern and restrained anger. She stopped in front of him, crossing her arms and clearly displeased with his presence.
“She’s resting,” Gen informed him, her voice steady but sharp. “The doctor says she needs time. Physically, she’ll be fine, but mentally? I don’t know.”
Satoru nodded, his throat tightening. “I—I’m sorry, Gen. For everything.” His voice cracked, and he looked away, unable to meet her piercing gaze. “I know I’ve been the worst. Back then, now… I never meant to hurt her.”
“I don’t even know what to say to you,” she replied in a haste and brutally honest manner. “First, my nephew, and now, my sister? Both of them were hospitalized because of you. All you do is bring in a series of bad luck to our family. Have some shame.”
He knew she was right, and he was ashamed. But despite the hurtful truth, he accepted it all. He was a martyr ready to take all the pain away, if it meant taking it from you and your children. “I know I messed up, Gen. And I don’t deserve another chance. But that doesn’t change the fact that I love her. That I will love her until the day I die.” His eyes pooled with genuine tears. “I just want to be here for her. She’s my life.”
Gen sighed, her arms falling to her sides. “Satoru, you say you love her. You say you care about her. But look where we are. She’s always been the one paying the price for your mistakes. Always getting the short end of the stick.” Her voice hardened, and her eyes narrowed. “And now? There’s a rumor about her because of you. Do you even know what that’s doing to her?”
He clenched his fists, his head hanging low. “I know. I saw it. I—I’m already drafting a statement. It’ll be released soon. I’ll clear her name, Gen. I’ll take full responsibility. I won’t let anyone drag her through the mud because of me.”
Gen studied him carefully, her expression softening slightly, though her voice remained firm. “Words are one thing, Satoru. Actions are another. She’s given up so much for you. Do you even realize how much of herself she’s lost?”
“I do,” he said, his shaken voice barely audible. “I see it every time I look at her. I see the woman I fell in love with slipping away, and it’s my fault. But I swear to you, Gen, I’ll fix this. I’ll do everything I can to keep her, to keep our family together. I’ll be the man she deserves, the father our kids deserve.”
Gen’s lips pressed into a thin line as she looked away, her gaze distant. “Love isn’t just words, Satoru. It’s not just showing up when things get hard. It’s being there even when things are mundane, even when she doesn’t need saving. It’s about choosing her, every single day. And you haven’t done that.”
Her words cut deep, but he took them all, letting them sink into his bones. He had been selfish, careless with the one person who mattered the most. And now, he was paying the price.
“But you’re still here.” Gen’s voice eventually softened, as if this situation couldn’t be saved anymore. “And she’s still here. I don’t know why, after everything, my sister still loves you… but she does. I wouldn’t want you for her, frankly. I’d rather she’d be single her entire life than be stuck with you. But I know her stubborn heart all too well. And if you really mean what you say, if you’re truly ready to step up and be the man she deserves, then prove it. You’d better mean that, Satoru. Because if you break her again… I don’t think there’ll be any pieces left to put back together.”
For a moment, silence hung between them, broken only by the muffled hum of the hospital. And in sincerity, Satoru nodded, tears welling in his eyes. This wasn’t exactly Gen forgiving him, this was her choosing what makes her sister happy. “I love her, Gen. I’ve always loved her. And I’ll spend the rest of my life proving it.”
——
A dull beeping sound echoed in your ears, steady and rhythmic, as the world around you slowly came back into focus. The sterile scent of antiseptic filled your nose, and the soft hum of distant voices murmured through the hospital walls. The fluorescent lights above were too bright, causing you to squint as you tried to take in your surroundings. White sheets, an IV drip, and the unmistakable cold of a hospital bed beneath your fingertips.
You were in the ER.
Memories of the day before hit you all at once—the weight of exhaustion, the way your body had given up on you mid-conversation, and Satoru’s voice calling your name just before everything faded to black.
A gentle warmth enveloped your hand. You turned your head slightly, heart skipping a beat when you saw Satoru sitting beside you. His snow-white hair was disheveled, his usually confident demeanor subdued. There were dark circles under his eyes suggesting how little he had rested.
“You’re awake,” he murmured, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it. There was relief laced in his tone, but also something heavier. He reached out, brushing stray strands of hair from your face. “How do you feel?”
“Fine.” You swallowed, your throat dry. “How’s my… baby?”
For someone who said she wanted to get rid of her unborn child, your concern put a relief on Satoru’s face. “Baby’s okay,” he admitted, his thumb absently tracing circles on your belly. “You passed out, and they brought you here to monitor you. But you’re okay now. The doctor said you were just exhausted. You’re being discharged soon.”
Your mind was sluggish, still struggling to process everything. But then, the most important thought struck you.
“Sachiro,” you breathed, fear clawing its way up your throat. One after another. “His surgery—”
Satoru squeezed your hand gently, stopping you before your panic could take hold. “It was a success.” His lips curled into a small, tired smile. “While you were resting, everything went well. The doctors said it was a textbook procedure—no complications. He’s stable, recovering in the suite room now.”
“H-He’s okay?” Your voice broke on the last word, and Satoru nodded.
“He’s okay.”
A choked sob left your lips as you covered your face with your hands, overwhelmed. After everything, after all the sleepless nights and the heart-wrenching fear of losing your first born, he had made it through. At his young age, having to suffer such a complicated heart disease was something he didn’t deserve, but truly, he was a strong kid. And for that, you were grateful.
Satoru didn’t hesitate. He leaned forward, wrapping his arms around you, pulling you against his chest. His heartbeat was steady beneath your ear, grounding you, anchoring you. “Y/N,” he murmured, his lips ghosting against your temple. “Sachi’s strong. He got it from his mommy.”
You let yourself melt into him for a moment, closing your eyes and breathing him in. You didn’t know what this meant for the both of you—if anything had changed, if anything ever could. But for now, none of that mattered.
All that mattered was that Sachiro was waiting for you.
Satoru pulled back slightly, his hands still resting on your arms. “Do you wanna go see him?”
You met his gaze, eyes still shining with unshed tears, and nodded. “Yeah.”
——
Down the pristine white halls, past nurses and doctors bustling about their duties, your feet carried you with a singular purpose while Satoru walked beside you, his pace matching yours.
And then—there.
Room 721.
You hesitated only for a second before pushing the door open, breath catching the moment your eyes landed on Sachiro. Your poor son. Your poor little boy lay in the hospital bed, looking small and fragile against the white sheets. Tubes and wires were attached to him, aside from the steady beeping of the monitors that signaled his heart’s vitals. A ventilator was also there to help him breathe, and his tiny chest rising and falling in a rhythm was a sight that both reassured and shattered you at the same time.
“Sachi,” you whispered sweetly, stepping closer. “Mommy’s here, baby.”
Your fingers trembled as you brushed his hair back, careful not to disturb any of the medical equipment. He was still asleep, sedated for recovery, but his face was peaceful—far more peaceful than the nights you’d spent watching him struggle.
Behind you, Satoru stood motionless. His normally vibrant eyes were dulled with exhaustion, his face gaunt from two days without sleep. Yet, despite it all, he remained standing, his entire being focused on Sachiro.
The next few hours passed in a blur. Your family surrounded you, offering support, love, and quiet reassurances. Nurses came and went, checking on Sachiro’s vitals, updating you on his condition. The visiting hours brought waves of people—friends, colleagues, even some of Satoru’s acquaintances who had come to check on him.
But through it all, Satoru never moved.
While conversations hummed around him, while people embraced and whispered their worries, he remained by Sachiro’s bedside. His hand rested on his son’s small fingers, his thumb occasionally brushing against his skin.
He didn’t speak much. Didn’t react to the noise around him.
He just… watched.
Watched the slow rise and fall of his child’s chest. Watched the way the monitors flickered with steady readings. Watched the way his son fought to live.
And even as the hours stretched, as your family said their goodbyes, as the night deepened and visiting hours ended—Satoru remained.
His exhaustion was evident. The bags under his eyes had darkened, his shoulders heavy with weariness. But when a nurse suggested he get some rest, he merely shook his head.
“I’m not leaving him.”
And so, he stayed.
With red-rimmed eyes and a body begging for sleep, Satoru Gojou sat beside his son, never once looking away.
You could see the torment in his eyes as he looked at Sachiro, the helplessness of a father who could do nothing but watch. You just couldn’t bear the silence any longer, so you finally spoke. “Satoru… just go home.”
He froze at the sound of your voice, as if caught off guard, but quickly shook his head and wrapped your belly under a warm blanket. “Did I wake you up?”
“I can look after Sachi by myself,” you urged, disregarding his question. “You need to rest.”
But again, he refused. “No.”
“But—”
You opened your mouth to speak again, to reason with him, but before you could, Satoru’s voice cut through the air, breaking in a way you had never heard before. “Y/N, let me be a father to my kids… Please.” His voice cracked, the raw emotion spilling out as he looked at the ceiling with somber, tearful eyes. It was the heartbreak in his voice that made you realize that you were the only family Satoru had left. And it was the tremor in his hands that made you see through the trauma he had developed after he was led to believe for three years that his son had never existed. In a way, you felt responsible for the pain you had caused him, too. “Just please let me love you and our babies. Don’t take them away from me.”
For a moment, silence became your friend. Yet, the quiet that enveloped the room was more of a tender moment suspended in time as you let Satoru embrace you in his arms. You both remained there, connected by the warmth of his hand over yours, and the gentle rise and fall of his breath. He caressed your belly as if you were going to take his baby away—that if he closed his eyes, even for a second, he would wake up to see his unborn child gone.
But then, a soft knock on the door shattered the stillness.. Satoru’s grip on your hand loosened as the nurse poked her head into the room with an apologetic expression on display.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, Mr. and Mrs. Gojou,” she began, her voice quiet and gentle, “but you have a visitor.” Satoru’s brows furrowed slightly, but before he could ask, the nurse continued, “Her name is Ms. Akemi.”
At the mention of her name, he immediately sat up, his body tense as he instinctively prepared to stand. You felt the shift in his demeanor, the way his hand slipped from yours as he moved to the edge of the bed. You stayed still for a minute, processing the sudden change, and your heart sinking at the thought of yet another intrusion by her.
You took a deep breath as you began to pull away, already bracing yourself for what was to come, and for the inevitable exit he would make. Like always. Choosing another woman over you. Choosing another woman over his own child. Of course, that’s what he’s about to do, right? You started to gather the strength to let him go, to retreat back into your thoughts, until the nurse spoke again.
“Oh… Actually,” she said, her eyes flicking between you both, “Miss Akemi wants to see you, Ms. Y/N… not Mr. Gojou.”
——
Two things about this moment caught you off guard. First, Satoru’s sudden overprotectiveness—firmly insisting to the nurse that Akemi had no right to call for you again and that you shouldn’t be meeting her just to “talk.” And second, the fact that Akemi actually wanted to see you.
What was the catch?
What was her motive?
You wondered if this was going to be another Sera moment.
And you knew, even if your mind told you that you owed Akemi nothing, you were still curious about what she had to say. Would she demand Satoru’s time that you were taking from her? Or was she about to make a scene and call you a homewrecker?
Strangely, of all the places, Akemi wanted to meet you at the hospital chapel.
She was already there when you came, sitting at the last row amongst the empty pews, staring at the altar as if her brown eyes were glued to the massive cross in the center. In her solitude, you silently slipped into the opposite side of the pew, not exchanging any eye-contact until she noticed your presence.
When she turned, she seemed startled to see you. “Y/N.”
You said nothing, only staring at the cross in front of you.
“I was just…” She trailed off, glancing toward the altar before looking back at you. “I was praying for Sachiro. I heard his surgery was a success.”
Your arms crossed over your chest, but your voice was steady. “It was.”
“I’m glad.” A small, genuine smile plastered over her lips. “I really am. He’s a strong boy… just like his mom.”
A scoff threatened to rise in your throat, but you swallowed it down. You weren’t here to fight. Not anymore. Not when you were far too grateful for Sachiro’s successful operation to still be holding grudges on others. But that didn’t mean you had to fake being happy next to Akemi. All you did was nod in appreciation.
But Akemi hesitated, then spoke again about what seemed to be her main concern of going here. “Has Satoru been here? I mean… all this time?”
“Yes.” A pause. A flicker of something unreadable crossed her expression, but your rigid expression appeared to have intimidated her. “If you’re here to ask him to go home with you, then—”
“I’m sorry, Y/N.”
You blinked. Of all the things you expected, an apology wasn’t one of them.
“For everything,” she continued. “For being with Satoru even when I knew who you were to him. For pretending I didn’t see the way he looked at you, the way he still loved you. I was selfish. I let my delusions get to me, thinking that he’s exactly who I needed in my life to feel whole again.” She then let out a bitter laugh, one that lacked amusement. “You don’t know this, but I used to envy you. Your life. Your place in his heart. The way you had people around you. The way he loved you… The way you have a beautiful son and an equally beautiful husband. I wanted that for myself. I thought if I tried hard enough, if I gave him everything, if I tried to be like you, maybe he’d love me the same way.” Her voice wavered. “But no matter how much time passed, it always felt like he was looking past me. Like he was imagining someone else by his side. And I knew. I always knew.”
You exhaled slowly, your fingers tightening around the edge of the pew. You weren’t expecting to hear all of those things from her. Not after everything that had happened.
“I don’t expect you to forgive me,” Akemi admitted, her gaze dropping to the floor. “But I needed to say this. Because I know you’re not happy that Satoru’s been visiting me, too. At least, until he ended things officially between us. And probably until he learned about your pregnancy… Is it true?”
Your breath hitched, but you remained still.
“The baby’s a blessing, Y/N.” She lifted her chin, meeting your eyes with quiet resignation. “It’s exactly what I had hoped for myself… but I’m sick. I’m critically ill. Stage three endometrial cancer, to be exact.”
For the first time, something shifted in you. Shock. Pity. Confusion. You ended up returning her gaze—her lachrymose brown eyes that seemed to envy your entire being.
“H-He feels bad for me,” she continued, her voice softer now. “That’s why he’s been coming back and forth. He doesn’t love me—not the way I wanted—but he can’t turn away from someone who’s suffering. That’s who he is.”
You looked away, pressing your lips together, not knowing how to navigate a conversation with the sick friend who betrayed you.
“I don’t expect anything from him anymore. And I don’t expect anything from you, either.” Akemi’s lips curved into a sad smile. “I just wanted you to know that… I’m letting go. Of him. Of the past. Of everything.”
You held your breath back.
“I hope, one day, you can forgive him. Maybe even me. I know I lost a good friendship because of my bad decisions.”
She turned towards you, reaching for your hand that she soon softly squeezed. In that millisecond, you caught a glimpse of Nanami standing by the door, seemingly waiting for Akemi to finish her last words with you.
“Take care of him, Y/N. And take care of yourself.”
——
When you returned to the room, Satoru was pacing back and forth, running a hand through his disheveled hair, his jaw clenched in barely restrained nerves. The second he caught sight of you in the doorway, his shoulders sagged with relief, but his expression remained taut with worry.
“Y/N,” he exhaled, striding toward you in a rush. “What did she say? Was she rude to you? Did she—”
You didn’t let him finish.
Before he could spiral further, you grabbed him by the collar and silenced him with a firm kiss.
For a brief, stunned moment, he stiffened—his breath catching against your lips. Then, just as quickly, he melted into you, hands coming up to cradle your face as if you’d disappear if he let go. His lips moved over yours, not demanding, not desperate—just seeking, just holding.
When you finally pulled back, his forehead pressed against yours, his eyes still half-lidded with dazed confusion.
“Stop overthinking,” you murmured, fingers gently brushing the nape of his neck.
Satoru swallowed hard, searching your face for answers. “Y/N…”
But a soft noise from the hospital bed cut the moment short. Both your heads snapped toward Sachiro, who was stirring beneath the sheets, and his tiny fingers twitching as his eyelids fluttered open.
Satoru let out a shaky laugh, a watery grin spreading across his face as he rushed to his son’s side. “Hey, Sachi,” he choked out. “You’re awake.”
You moved closer, blinking away the sudden sting in your eyes as Sachiro groggily turned to look at both of you. “My baby…”
“Mama…? Dada…?” His voice was weak, but the way he reached for both of you made your chest ache.
You took his small hand in yours, pressing it against your cheek as Satoru smoothed down his hair, pressing a lingering kiss to his forehead. “We’re here, baby,” you whispered. “We’re right here. How are you feeling, my sunshine?”
The nurses came shortly after, and then his doctor also took a visit. According to him, Sachiro showed good signs of recovery and ordered the medical staff to remove the devices attached to your son one by one as his progress looked promising. Soon enough, with the doctor’s advice, Sachiro could even start his rehab to be able to resume his normal activities. Everything you were hearing were positive outcomes, nothing but good news. You couldn’t help but feel as if things were too good to be true, and wondered if there was anything substantially bigger that’d come and wreck you.
The father of your child seemed to have noticed the moment you became silent, swallowed by the anxious thought of what was to come, and he came to wrap his arms around you, securing you in his embrace, and rubbing your belly from behind.
You could see the nurses noticing your little display of affection and so you tried to push Satoru off, but he didn’t budge. He only held you tighter and buried his face into your shoulder.
“Let me just recharge here for a bit,” he mumbled, as though you were the battery that was giving him energy. “Just let me hold you, please.”
——
You hadn’t addressed the elephant in the room yet, and the only real chance to do so came the following night, when Sachiro’s nanny took over in the suite. She kept you updated on his condition, while you—following your doctor’s advice—chose to finally get some proper rest at home.
But knowing your family, they’d bombard you with questions about Satoru the moment you walked through the door. Maybe that’s why you agreed to his suggestion—to stay the night at the penthouse. The same home you once shared as husband and wife.
Was it a rash decision? An impulsive one? Maybe exhaustion had driven you here, standing under the warm stream of his shower as he waited outside. It was strange how comforting this place still felt. How familiar, yet mind-warping it was. This was the same home where he had slept with Akemi. How could you feel both at ease and deeply unsettled?
By the time you stepped out, you stood in front of the vanity mirror, drying your hair as your gaze fell to your barely noticeable bump. You weren’t showing just yet, and knew that there was still time to decide. Did you want this baby? Keeping it meant Satoru would be even more tied to you. Letting it go meant sparing it from a toxic environment and the possibility of inheriting your heart condition.
Lost in thought, you barely heard Satoru’s knock before he entered, carrying your old pajamas. Without a word, he helped you into them with quiet care, his touch gentle but respectfully distant. He guided you like a loving husband would to his pregnant wife, up until you were settled under the warm duvet of your old bed, where he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“Is there anything you want for breakfast?” he asked, “Anything you’re craving? Lemon bars? PB&J? I can run to the grocery store now if you want.”
His reminder of your old pregnancy cravings squeezed at your heart. It took you back to the days where you were immensely, unselfishly in love with him. “It’s almost midnight.”
“I’d do anything for you and baby.”
Maybe this was his way to consume you with guilt, knowing you still haven’t really decided if you wanted to keep the baby, yet here he was doing his everything just to show you how he wanted to care for his youngest. Would you be too cruel to ruin his fantasy?
“I’ll sleep in the guest room,” he murmured when he didn’t get any answer. “Call me if you need me.”
“Wait.” You regretted your words the moment you opened your mouth. “Stay.”
Because why? Just why did you ask him to stay? Why did you want him beside you? Why did you enjoy his warmth and his presence and his love? This was the same man who wrecked you to shreds, to pieces. How could you betray yourself and still trust him?
You didn’t need the answer right now, all you needed was Satoru’s gentle gaze, his careful embrace, and the way he caressed your face as he joined you in bed. You could tell he wanted to try for a kiss, but decided not to cross any lines you weren’t comfortable with.
“I’m dreaming, am I?” he asked, seemingly musing at the thought.
You sighed. “I’d hope so.”
“Y/N.” His voice was soft as he said your name. “I love you.”
Closing your eyes, you replied, “Give me time.”

I love spring so much, Bunny! We will be born again as the snow melts… Let’s see what energy you’re stepping into! Archangel Gabriel, (angel of birth, new beginnings, and spiritual revelations) jumped out of two different decks during this reading! To pick a pile don’t overthink it; choose the one that draws you in the most while thinking about the reading’s intent. Only take what resonates! Love, Matcha ♡

Pile 1 ₊˚.༄
At the moment you might be going through a lot internally even though life seems to be on hold. You’re trying to break through from your old persona. Other’s perceptions of you don’t match who you are anymore. You’ve been scared to be your authentic self in the past but now you’re yearning to let it shine. You’re ready for a whole rebranding. This spring, you’ll let this new you see the light. You’ll follow its flow, discovering what this transformation means for you. How it feels. How it shows up in the world. Be careful, the glow up you’re gonna be experiencing will attract envy and jealousy, make sure to protect yourself from the evil eye. Don’t worry though, you’ll be very happy and confident so even if some people don’t like the change you’ll be experiencing it won’t be affecting your mood. Actually, it might be giving you more motivation. You’ll be spending time with people who truly matter, receiving an overwhelming amount of love from your community. At the start of summer, you’ll feel like you totally shed your old skin. You’ll feel more mature and spiritually in tune. This spring will make you grow a lot. On the spiritual side, you might be experiencing a spiritual awakening. Thanks to this spiritual awakening you’ll finally be able to forgive yourself from past experiences. You’ll become way kinder to yourself. You’ll understand that the mistakes of your past created the wonderful person you are. It’ll be a very defining new beginning, you’ll feel like a new person. You’ll have to let go of your old mindset regarding success, realizing it wasn’t even yours to begin with, just a reflection of societal pressures. You’re gonna look so stunning as well, attracting stares everywhere you go because you stand out so much. You won’t be scared to show off your own personal style. Your body will have changed in a way you like or the way you dress your body type will be different, more flattering. A masculine and grounded energy will bring you good news relating to a career prospect, collaboration or relationship. So that might be a lover announcing their flame or someone offering you a job. Either way, you’ll have a decision to make. Whatever you choose try being nice if you have any criticism to make regarding the proposition, but don’t hold back from stating your needs.

Pile 2 ⊹˚˖ ☆
You might have been in denial when it comes to your fulfillment. But your inner child is calling and you’re feeling the urge to take care of it. You’ve had this vision of your ideal life for years and you’re realizing that your soul just won’t let it go. So you’re gonna step into action and manifestation mode. You’re gonna manifest like you never did before because you’ll act on your wishes instead of simply praying for it. You’re gonna let the blessings flow in and believe me they will. You have a lot of money blessings coming your way, especially debts being paid off. This weight off of your shoulders is finally gonna give you the chance to work on your anxiety issues. You might have this lingering fear of not having enough after those blessings and it’s gonna be the perfect time to do some well-needed shadow work. A part of you will die this spring, you’ll say bye to the procrastinating and lazy side of you. You’ll rather ground yourself and work on your life instead of using toxic coping mechanisms to forget like drinking, smoking, social media etc. At the end of spring, you’ll be flamboyant and abundant! You’ll have more confidence thanks to your accomplishments and will enjoy the fruits of your labour. You’re gonna get paid, Bunny! You’ll be so financially comfortable that you’ll probably be planning a trip for this summer. You’ll stand out socially and create a powerful reputation. You might be celebrating your birthday, an anniversary or the end of a semester and it’ll make you look back on all the things you went through during the past year, and you’ll feel very proud about where you are. As part of your glow up, you’ll develop a studying method or you’ll adapt the way you go about learning and it’ll have incredible results. You’ll be learning a lot of things and quickly. If you’re learning anything, especially if it’s related to language, expect to reach your goals sooner than expected. Some of you might travel to a country to practice speaking a language.

Pile 3 ‧₊˚ ♡
Bunny, your spread is so good I am shook. I only pulled major arcana for the tarot portion… and it’s full of synchronicity. I had to take a picture of it even though I didn’t for the other piles because it’s so crazy. I don’t want to play favourite but the universe is, sorry! Anyways, right now you’re being grounded and abundant. Making the right decisions based on well-established values. Well, most of the time, you have your little vices, your little contradictions, but it gives you an interesting edge to be honest. You’re embodying divine masculine right now, taking action and following your path with fierceness. Seems like you’re already glowing up, you’re in this zone where it seems like everything you’re doing in your day is serving a higher purpose, even in small everyday rituals. This spring you’re gonna be the star and things are gonna be coming to you so fast! You’re getting a lot of good karma! Every decision is gonna be important this upcoming season because it’s gonna be a very defining moment in your life, especially when it comes to friendships. You’re doing so well that you’re attracting fake friends, people who want to be associated with you just for social compensation, and jealous people who don’t seem to know you. You’ll look at them and you won’t see anything you want to associate with, nothing you admire, you’ll let them go. You’re gonna be so gratified at the end of spring. You might be entering a new relationship at the start of summer. One thing for sure is that you’ll have a whole new relationship with yourself. You’re already doing so well but by reaffirming your values this spring you’re gonna be stepping in closer to your higher self than you ever did. You’ll be closer to spirit than you ever were. You’ll reminisce about this spring and be thankful because it’ll be one of the moments you developed a sense of discipline and wisdom you didn’t know you could possess. Your glow up is gonna bring you an extremely strong sense of self and lifelong useful skills. Your new way of processing life is gonna make you a powerful manifester.

Thank you for the tip!
Picture 1
- This spring you'll be successfully completing a task or goal that you have been tirelessly working towards for quite a few months. For some of you, this could have been years in the making too. With one thing achieved, you can now move on to something else but don't forget to be in the moment and celebrate this win either. Whatever you have crafted will receive it's recognition too.
- Recovering lost wealth or in simple terms, the money you have spent (or some of you, if you have incurred loss) will come back to you twicefold.
- You'll also feel less lonely. Infact, you'll feel as though a community, person, Friends etc have your back. Which in turn is making you feel secure within yourself.
- New love and emotional renewal for some of you a happy relationship as well. Your cup will be filled. Don't worry.
- A lot of fun, shared joy and celebration with friends/family/found family.
- A new and better environment or home/work space.
- Harmony at home.
- Most of you will be around people who share an alleviated and positive mindset that will in turn lead to you having a better one. You'll have a much better outlook on life. This in turn will make life easier compared to the 'at my wit's end' feeling you may have been having for the couple of months.
Picture 2
- This spring you'll be blessed with the ability to create a secure and and nurturing life for yourself while balancing everything else with grace. The financial freedom you have been seeking will will come. You'll feel a sense of self sufficiency and a deep sense of confidence in your self worth.
- You'll also be able to take a pause and learn something new. You'll also have a new perspective of things that help you navigate circumstances better instead of feeling like you're stuck.
- If you're a student or pursuing higher education this will also be a promising time for you.
- Realisation that what you fear becomes so insignificant once you take your awareness away from it.
- A possible mentor or guide who helps you learn or hone your existing skills for the better.
- The urge to lead confidently rather than simply follow and be answerable to others.
- A lot of you have been struggling with anxiety or anticipating the worst possible scenarios or outcomes. You may even weed certain friends or people out of your life who are adding to this feeling. This could simply mean that they take more from you than they're willing to give. Others might be dealing with people who simply want to have control over you. But you'll be blessed with the right people, right connections and honest friends who push you out of situations and mindsets that have been constricting you. Your own intuition and wisdom will be a great blessing within itself as well.
Picture 3
- This spring you're stepping into your power, your untouched potential, waking up and realising that you're not going to hold yourself back anymore. A lot of you will put yourself, your talents, your skills etc out there. You're laser focused on your end goal and vision. So whatever happens in between is simply your means to the end. You want to simply enjoy your journey now, experience your life. And you will.
- Some of you might be getting something you have been wishing for and will keep it a secret from everyone. I also sense some of you will literally run away/flee a place or situation that you can no longer be bothered with.
- Soul searching and finding your own path.
- Offers and opportunities to choose from.
- Finally being able to regulate your nervous system most of you have felt on the edge and don't have the best sleep cycle or healthy lifestyle. This will change.
- Preparing for a summer getaway.
- Unfiltered happiness. So the glow up that shows externally is because you feel that way internally. You'll have plenty of blessings to count even if initially you feel like you're everything on your own. You've always been the lone wolf afterall. But your tribe will find you. Start actually living your life rather than surviving it.

Heyy how are you doing? Anyways when l read the kiana reader post. I feel like nahida o
I'm good thank you for showing concern
𝐑𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 🌿🧠

Lesser Lord Kusanali dwells deep in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, and has never really been in the limelight, nor has she even been mentioned much. Her burden is heavy, but though she may experience loneliness, and though darkness is all she sees before her, she will not stop moving forward.
The new guardian of the tree of life, the reader is not part of any pantheon the gods would consider them as an outer god basically a god that wasn't mentioned in any mythology in Earth's history.
The Tree of Life is an ancient, primordial entity that predates even the gods. It is the source of all life, dreams, and wisdom, existing beyond the cycle of creation and destruction. While many gods claim dominion over life, they only shape what the Tree of Life allows to exist. it records every action, choice, and consequence of the universe holding the secrets of the universe even the gods aren't aware of.
Reader is a divine being who predates many of the gods in Valhalla, existing since the dawn of creation. The Tree of Life, which they are bound to, is said to be the source of wisdom and vitality in the universe.
The original guardian sacrificed themselves and from the branch of the tree gave birth towards the reader, the reader is the avatar of the tree and works as its guardian protecting it as well as nurturing it making sure knowledge would be spread around.
During their free time they would visit the dreams of humans and spend time with them, as well protecting them from nightmares and giving blessings towards them, most people who receive their blessing are granted with wealth and become scholars.
They are neither fully aligned with the gods nor humans, but rather with the balance of life itself. To them, Ragnarok is an unnatural disruption of the cycle, but they do not interfere unless necessary.
They view the gods to be overly arrogant, they are convinced themselves they are invisible meanwhile nahida! reader fully knows the truth that they themselves cannot escape fate and soon believe another species would take control of the heavens. Similar to the cycle of titans and gods.
Their presence nurtures life—wherever they go, flowers bloom, and dying trees regain their vitality. Some gods mistake this for a harmless trait, unaware of the immense power it signifies.
Often found in a garden-like domain outside of Valhalla, where reality shifts between dream and waking. The place serves as a sanctuary for them and the aranaras.
The Aranara are small, plant-like spirits born from the dreams of nature itself, residing within Reader’s sacred domain in Valhalla. They are fragments of the Tree of Life’s will, acting as its protectors and messengers. Each one represents different aspects of the natural cycle—growth, decay, renewal, and dreams.
In some ways the aranaras are the leafs meanwhile the reader is the branch and roots of the tree of life.
The tree of life holds knowledge about everything of the universe living beings, humans, primordial gods it holds records since the start and before the rule of the gods. And the reader is able to bend this knowledge meaning they have the capability to remove the authority of the gods as well erasing their existence.
By this knowledge most of Valhalla are weary of them even fear them being afraid that if they manage to anger them the reader would remove the authority of them stripping them from their title.
Even the most powerful gods fully know they are nothing compared towards their authority instead they respect the reader as well as having a political alliance with them, the reader would still be considered a neutral side they are only loyal towards duty not evil or good.

⋆ 。 𐀔 ° ‧ what you can do to aid your future self, a message from your guides<3
PICK A SCENE AND DISCOVER... what blessings await you in the (near) future? what can you do right now to align with this energy? a channeled message from your guides!
ꕤ * . pile one. → ꕤ * . pile two.
ꕤ * . pile three. → ꕤ * . pile four.
release all tension in your body, close your eyes, and take a deep breath. ask yourself: "which pile has a message for me today?" when you open your eyes, what image did your eyes fall on? what image do you feel most drawn to energetically? that's your pile!
this reading is timeless! it will cross your path whenever it's meant to find you 🍀 i was called to channel this energy to provide guidance for those who feel a bit stuck right now, but also as a little source of positivity! you are worthy of good things, don't ever forget this 🩷 (stream sunshine & rain by Kali Uchis!)
PILE # 01 :
what's waiting for you?
you're being guided to align with your soul's path. there will be several opportunities and chances (out of nowhere, i'm feeling) headed your way that will be significant for building the future you want for yourself. it might not feel like it, though!! i heard "wait, really?" when i'm channeling the opportunities headed your way, so some of you might be unsure or doubtful about how any of this will benefit you. i'm hearing spirit say that if something feels right, even if it makes no sense at all, go for it! you might be surprised with what you find on the other side<33 (i'm sensing this will set you up with skills, experiences, connections, etc... that will be the key to opening the door to your soul's path!!)
i'm also feeling my heart glow in my chest, so there could be a lot of emotional healing going on!! you'll be making space for love, both self love but also love from others!! (could be romantic, familial, or platonic!) if you've been disconnected from your heart space, i see you finally being comfortable enough to get in touch with this part of yourself. this will feel like a pressure falling off of your shoulders. for those who feel like they always have to fight for love, consideration, attention, etc... i see this coming to an end!! you will feel much lighter and much happier<33 there's a lot of gratitude in this energy!
what can you do now to help your future self?
to me it feels like this pile is going through significant transformations! you're balancing the scales, i'm hearing. whatever you're doing, it's working!! (or at the very least you have all the tools right now to sculpt something beautiful<3 while typing this, i just saw an image of michelangelo's david inside my head... so some of you could quite literally get started on a project that will be your magnum opus 🤭 very exciting energy!! trust your intuition to guide you and take inspired action!!) for those who are seeking to venture into something new, make sure to keep your imposter syndrome in check! you are worthy of sitting at the table with the big guys. you are worthy of putting yourself out there. don't hide yourself because you fear there's no space for someone like you. don't hide because of "what ifs"... spirit wants me to remind you that rome wasn't built in a day, don't set yourself up for failure by expecting too much at once. slow and steady wins the race!! they want you to look back and see how far you've already come. i'm really feeling like this pile is a winner, though, this is very potent energy<3
PILE # 02 :
what's waiting for you?
troubling times are over, is what i'm hearing. you'll finally be able to relax and catch a break! i see a ship sailing on the sea with a shore in sight, so you're very close to the finish line<3 if there's something you've been looking forward to/a project that has to be presented soon, this will go very well!! (i'm seeing either a vacation going well, exams being successful, or a work presentation going exactly how you want it to go!) when i'm in this energy, my body just completely relaxes after a period of stress and hard work. you'll be carrying the fruits of your labor and slowly but surely heal your body from being in "survival mode".
i'm very specifically hearing something about trauma healing as well. spirit is redirecting my attention to my womb, so this could be sexual trauma or trauma associated with motherhood/the relationship with the mother. while this energy does feel very intense and heavy, once you start addressing and nurturing this specific wound an accumulation of creative energy will explode within you. this is perhaps the most beautiful blessing of all: you'll feel inspired again<3 you'll be finding purpose. this is very potent energy!! you're on your way to unlock untapped creative potential within yourself which will lead to very blessed future endeavors!!
what can you do now to help your future self?
don't give up! your hard work is paying off, i see a weight being lifted off of your shoulders very soon. if you're feeling stuck or especially unmotivated, i see this ending! don't be too hard on yourself and be gentle with both your body and your mind. while i know i said not to give up, i do feel like some of you need to be extra careful with burn-outs, though... there's a difference between moving forward and growing through discomfort vs pushing yourself to a point of exhaustion while your body is screaming at you to stop. taking care of your body will make you instantly feel better! i'm especially talking about psychical contact with your body (and not necessarily the sexual kind either!) like, you need to be extra gentle with yourself when you put lotion on your body, hugging and caressing yourself while looking in the mirror, etc... gentle and loving touches with your own body will bring you sooooo much comfort, is what i'm hearing! really enjoy feeling the warm water of a hot shower against your skin, really live inside of your body. don't use it as a lump of flesh you have to carry with you, see it as a gift the divine gave you to experience this world. once you start to adore the vessel you live in (even while faced with the chaos of your day to day life) your energy will improve a lot!
PILE # 03 :
what's waiting for you?
my spiritual pile<3 you'll be developing your gifts! i'm getting very much siren vibes, someone who'll be very alluring and has finally found their voice... you could be having a very healing experience near a body of water in the future! i see you very much at peace with your own (feminine) energy and moving into a very harmonious relationship with your mind, body, and soul! this is very nice!! you'll be unlocking a lot of secrets. in my head i'm seeing spirit give you insights on something really special. to me it feels third eye related, as if you'll finally understand the inner workings of yourself as a cog in this universe, and being able to transmute all energies that come your way. (basically turning dirt into gold!) what i'm particularly seeing in my head is a chest with divine secrets, amethysts, and coins being opened by a key only you hold. you're definitely going to have some sort of divine epiphany that will lead to invaluable insights! this could happen while on a walk, i see nature being particularly important for this pile!!
when i'm in this energy, it all feels very mysterious and sensual to me. (when i try to go deeper to discover what this secret could be about, spirit is playfully redirecting me because i'm not supposed to know 😭 this knowledge is only meant for you.) it will reveal itself when the time is right, is what i just heard. regardless you'll be extremely seductive and attractive, i'm seeing someone dance under the moonlight and beckoning me to come closer, you're very magnetic. the next blessings waiting for you will be very spiritually expansive, it will bring you a greater sense of both peace and power!!
what can you do now to help your future self?
i think this pile needs to be reminded of doing their daily spiritual practices 🤭 (if you've been following them dutifully, your guides are very grateful for this!) this pile honestly feels like magic. you're surrounded by magic, you're working with magic, life feels very magical!! i see you being ready to level up, to aim higher, all because you have your basics down. doors will be opening very soon as long as you keep following this path, and your intuition knows exactly where you need to go— even if your brain is still catching up!
i'm feeling two very specific scenarios here, so i'm going to explain both!!
for people practicing loa: consistency is key, keep up with your mental diet! i see you finally finding a routine that works well for you, i see a "aha"-moment where you realise how manifestation works for you. i'm getting the vibes of "master manifestor" here, so i really see you leveling up and moving onto more "ambitious" manifestations. limiting beliefs will disappear. here it's important to go back to basics and not to fall into the trap of overconsumption. yes, you can read all the manifestation posts you like, but if you don't consistently practice what you read then what's the point</3 but you'll have a breakthrough soon enough! i see you really finding something that works for you!!
for people practicing witchcraft: you will be leveling up in your spellwork! consistently sticking to basic routines when it comes to grounding, protecting, and cleansing yourself will pay off with a very solid base. this will allow you to handle much more complex spellwork. i also see your work being much more potent and powerful as your body and mind become more stable. rituals will become much more intense and i'm really sensing that you will be much more connected to the divine. more spiritual powers will course through you as spirit knows it won't harm your vessel, this is what i'm hearing specifically. extremely powerful energy, make sure to give yourself enough rest!!
PILE # 04 :
note: when i started on your pile, i (very loudly, mind you 😭) heard "you are my sunshine" by johnny cash play in my head. the guide stepping forward feels like an elderly figure with masculine energy (doesn't mean they have to be male, though!) who feels very protective over you! i'm getting gentle vibes from them, even though they're a bit rough around the edges!
(this is a very specific message for only a select few of you, so please only take this if you feel called to it, but i need to mention it: if you have a grandparent/elderly figure who passed away, i sense a lot of regret for not loving you enough. i see someone loving you fiercely (on an energetic level now), but they were unable to express this love properly during their life on earth. there's so much regret and sadness surrounding this. they want you to know they're very proud of you!! you might be feeling their energy around you, still<3 it's almost like they want to support you now in ways they weren't able to do before...)
what's waiting for you?
peace. the feeling of standing on top of a hill and looking over a flower field on a warm summer day. you'll feel at peace, your heart is soft. you left your armour behind. you will feel a bit uncertain (exposed and vulnerable), but i see you being brave and strong. it's very possible you just had to make a very important decision. (it could change your life entirely, you had to leave the old behind.) and while you're sad about all that you left, i see you being hopeful for a better future. and brighter days are ahead of you! i'm seeing more love, more appreciation, more confidence!! you're looking for your place in this world. not for what you do, but for who you are.
this could be a pile that's moving away, starting a new job or career, or simply decided to turn their lives around. this will be bittersweet, but i see you remaining hopeful and strong and knowing it's for the best. you're doing amazing, this is the right choice<3 you know yourself best and no one else can make these decisions for you. if you're planning on doing something that feels right to you (regardless of what other people might think or say), i see your guides being extremely proud of you! (they're calling you sunflower in my head!) know that you can face whatever the future has in store for you, know that you are braver and stronger than you think!! your blessings will come from everywhere, i'm sensing, all because you were brave enough to leave the old behind!
what can you do now to help your future self?
i just heard "it's okay". i'm feeling the need to hug you, to comfort you. your guides wish they could hold you and tell you it's okay. while this pile doesn't feel unhappy, i can't help but wonder: "when was the last time someone showed pile 4 they genuinely cared?" if you're feeling lonely, please be extra gentle with yourself. if you're surrounded by people yet something is missing, please don't feel like anything is wrong with you. this pile needs to face wounds regarding loneliness and fears of being truly seen by others. not just the image you project towards others, not the "polite" and "acceptable" version of yourself. no, your heart is shining a very bright light and this light deserves to be seen by others. you deserve to receive a lot more love from the people around you. don't let them take you for granted! take your energy back in case it's needed. i feel once you find peace within yourself, once you're aware of the extend of your worth, things will be changing exponentially!! wishing you so much warmth, pile 4<33

hi! I'd like to req anaxa and ratio with reader who is so scarily quiet, unless they're actively watching them, the characters will NOT hear them. Lmao can you imagine the scares we'd produce if we snuck up behind them
Hi anon! Sorry this took so long. I haven’t been able to write much recently due to personal reasons, but I’m back at it now :)
If I had a nickel for every star rail character that was a mean professor, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. I love these two and had a blast writing it! Ratio’s gets a little suggestive because I’m a degenerate, I hope that’s okay!
✧ Tags: fluff, Anaxa and Ratio being grumpy (but also split), slightly suggestive content in ratios ✧ Rating: Mature ✧ Word Count: 730
ANAXA
As always, Anaxa is experimenting in his private laboratory. He’ll never admit it (primarily to preserve his academic integrity) but he finds it relaxes him after teaching. The saying that “there are no bad questions,” isn’t true; he would know after enduring thousands of bad questions. Clarifiers are one thing, but the endless drone of mundane queries have driven him to the brink.
Experimentation is simple, because ingredients and equations do not ask stupid questions. He allows himself to get lost in rhythm of the scientific process, drowning out the stressors of his day with a symphony of data.
“Anaxagoras,” your voice snaps him out of his state of focus with a jolt.
He does his best to appear unaffected by your sudden appearance, resorting to professionalism to maintain his facade. “May I help you?”
“Were you scared?” You asked, a sly grin creeping its way onto your lips.
“I was absorbed in my experiments, and did not expect you to arrive unannounced.”
“You jumped a little.”
Anaxa sighs and turns away from you. “I’m very busy.”
Even with his back turned, you can picture his pout. He always insists he would never do something so childish, but you’ve come to recognize the telltale sign of him hiding from you.
“I’m sorry I startled you,” he stiffens when you wrap your arms around his waist and rest your cheek against his back. What your beloved professor lacks in muscle, he makes up for with layers of robes.
“I’ve never come to a conclusion on how you manage to move around so quietly.” Of course he’s contemplating the unknown. You suppose it’s part of his charm.
“Perhaps Zagreus has blessed me, and I’d be better off as a thief than a scholar.”
Your mention of the Titan coaxes a scoff from the one-eyed man, but you know there’s so real annoyance behind it. If he were irritated, you would no longer be resting your chin on his shoulder, peering over at the mess of ingredients that lays before him.
“A caravan of dromas just arrived. I was wondering if you’d like to visit them with me.”
Anaxa perks up at the mention of his favourite animal. Triumph overcomes you as he begins tidying up the table. “Allow me to lead the way. We do not need you spooking the poor animals with your sudden appearance.”

The bath has always been a place of serenity for Veritas. It is one of the few places he feels he can allow his brain to rest after endlessly exercising in the pursuit of knowledge. He’s reading the latest craze amongst mathematicians: a book on computing Pi in the anti-organic equation. Truly thrilling stuff.
He recites the number to the two-hundred and thirty seventh decimal, only to be interrupted by someone placing their hand on his shoulder.
Veritas scrambles to see the intruder, his frantic movements causing him to slip on the porcelain and dunk his head below the water. When he surfaces, he finds you watching him with amusement.
You lean down, and straighten his headpiece. Why he wears that thing in the bath, you’ll never know. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“You should have knocked. I’m indecent.”
“Is that supposed to deter me from entering?” You grin as you sit on the edge of the bath. When you dunk your hand in, the water is a comforting warmth, perfect for relaxation.
As you create small waves, an unfamiliar object brushes against your fingers. You pull out a drenched book, its pages utterly unreadable.
“I dropped it when you appeared.” The sigh that escapes Veritas makes guilt bubble in your chest. You really hadn’t meant to scare him, but sometimes you forgot about your propensity for stealth.
“I’ll make it up to you,” you grin wolfishly, shrugging off your jacket.
“By buying me a new book? It wasn’t easy to obtain you know, I had to-“
His complaining is cut off by your lips meeting his. He’s quick to disregard the soggy book once again in favour of pulling you closer. You consider the debt forgotten when his neediness nearly pulls you into the water. “Someone’s eager,” you smile against his lips.
“Seeing as my reading ended prematurely, I might as well find stimulation elsewhere.”
“And how do I compare to that book of yours.”
“You know better than to ask stupid questions.”

naming rights
madney/bucktommy, post 8x15, 1k cleaned up on ao3 here
inspired by all the naming-kids-after-the-dead posting (and this post by @beanarie in particular, for one specific line). as someone named after a dead grandparent myself i think some of y’all are overestimating how heavily it weighs on the soul, but i acknowledge that this shit hits different in fiction.
.
The odd mood doesn’t really register for Buck at first. And even then, once he notices the tension in Maddie’s shoulders, how Chimney’s a beat late to cracking a joke Buck doesn’t get, he credits the mood to Tommy’s presence. This is, after all, the first time he’s brought Tommy to the Buckley-Han household since they agreed to start again, to take this seriously. It annoys him a little, but it’s not like he doesn’t get it. Maddie and Chimney saw him at his lowest, missing Tommy. If they want to hold a bit of a grudge, that’s their business.
And then Chimney blurts out, “Buck, if you want dibs, just say the word.”
Buck blinks, looking down at the plate of cheddar herb biscuits he’s been hovering over. There are five left. It’s not exactly a dibs-worthy scenario. “What?”
Maddie sets a hand on Chimney’s shoulder, letting out a strained little laugh at the defeated look on his face. “We were… talking about names, last week,” she says, “and it occurred to us that there might be a name you would like to… reserve. For future use.”
It hits like a punch to the solar plexus, heart-stopping, the way reminders of Bobby always do. Buck makes himself breathe slow and even, and then the implications of the offer are a follow-up punch to the gut. He gasps, helpless. “Wha—Chim, he died for y—” Chimney winces, and Buck wants to smack himself. Stupid, thoughtless—like he needs that reminder! “W-what I mean is, I can’t ask you to do that for me.”
“Yeah, well, I’m asking if you want me to anyway.” Chim shrugs, a sad little smile on his face. “Not to brag, but I’ve lost a lot of loved ones in my time, Buck. Plenty of people I could memorialize in a name.” He leans into Maddie’s side, looking fondly at her. “Then again, Jee-Yun’s already named for my mom. Maybe it’s time we honor someone Maddie lost.”
It takes Buck a second. Daniel. Oh, jeez.
For a moment, he thinks about it.
But just for a moment.
Buck shakes his head. “Mom and Dad—”
“—can deal with it,” Maddie insists.
Buck smiles—he’d love to see her say that to their faces—but doubles down. “Do you really want to risk it, though? Another kid they can’t help but treat differently?” He sure doesn’t want to have to see that. Even though they’d be able to tell his nephew why Grandma wants to run away and cry when she says his name, he knows from experience how little difference having an explanation makes.
Maddie winces, and he knows she gets it.
“No,” Buck says, firmer now, “if you guys want to name your kid after Bobby, you should do it. You have my blessing, or whatever.”
The tension drops out of the room so abruptly Buck feels stupid for failing to notice it sooner. Maddie smiles, relieved, and Chimney says a solemn, quiet word of thanks, and he feels like such a heel for considering any other answer for even a second.
“Besides,” Buck jokes, fiddling with a biscuit, “it’s not like I even—I-I mean, who knows if I’ll… if I’ll ever.” He stops, the unfairness of it all strangling his voice, making his heart stall out in his chest.
Because even if he does, someday. Whoever, however, it doesn’t matter—a name is the most substantial thing he can give them of Bobby. And that’s nothing, it’s just a word, a pair of sounds. Two syllables. Compared to everything he should be able to give—!
Tommy gently extracting the crushed biscuit from Buck’s hand snaps him back to reality. “Hey,” he says, just as gently, wrapping his hands around Buck’s.
“Hey. Sorry about—” Buck cuts himself off at the familiar look this gets him. He sighs. “I have nothing to apologize for, I know.”
“Good,” Tommy says. He glances between Maddie and Chimney, stricken, and Buck, surprised by his grief yet again. “Not that anyone asked, but my two cents? I don’t see why anyone needs to declare dibs here.” He squeezes Buck’s hand, a move Buck has come to recognize as a sign of an incoming anecdote that means more to Tommy than he’ll let on.
Buck gives Tommy his full attention.
Tommy averts his eyes.
“Like, my cousin’s wife? Her family is huge, but you can tell which is the firstborn kid in each household because they all have basically the same name. Marianne, Marion, Marvin (middle name Andrew), Marybeth (middle name Ann)… all after their shared grandma, who died twenty years before any of them were born.” Tommy shrugs. “Sure, it gets a little confusing when they’re all in the same place and you’re trying to get one’s attention, but… I don’t know, I think it’s kind of beautiful? That woman was so loved, you can see her impact on a whole generation.”
He meets Buck’s eyes at last, and it’s almost unbearable how earnest Tommy looks as he asks, “Why shouldn’t Bobby get as many namesakes as he has people who love him?”
Buck blinks. Looks at Maddie and Chimney, who barely share half a glance before they’re nodding at him.
Buck smiles, kisses Tommy, wipes tears from the corners of both their eyes with his free hand, and turns back to Maddie and Chimney. “So what were you thinking, Robert Daniel?”
Maddie shakes her head. “I thought about it, but I don’t want Jee-Yun feeling like the odd one out. So I went looking, and there are a couple Korean names that start with Bo…”
As she goes on, listing names and their pros and cons, her husband watching with hearts in his eyes, Buck leans closer to Tommy. “So what name are you considering, then?” he murmurs. “You have something already picked out that goes nicely with Robert?”
Buck doesn’t take his eyes off Maddie, doesn’t let go of either of Tommy’s hands. They’re taking this seriously, now, or at least that’s what they said. If Tommy meant it, if he means it, he can answer this question without flinching.
All the same, Buck’s readied himself for a neutral-at-best reaction.
He’s entirely unprepared for Tommy to immediately respond, “Nah. It’s kinda old-fashioned, but I’ve always liked the name Roberta.” And he hums, a little off-key, the first line of a song that Buck’s heard a dozen times or more, in the background of quiet, comfortable dinners at Tommy’s place.
Buck grins, his heart starting to race.
#notfic#911#bucktommy#madney#apparently i have enough thoughts about this topic that i have to commit fic to get them out of my head @~@#hopefully this takes care of it for good#…or at least until canon offers up its own opinion on the matter :/

Gerald’s Journal - Disability representation
I read scans of Gerald’s Journal and I have to talk about it. Not the lore or anything like that, but the disability rep. I didn’t expect to cry reading this.
Please don’t look at this post if you don’t want to be spoiled about what’s in this journal. If you do want to read it, you can find scans here. Credit to this Twitter/X thread for the images I’ll use.

I don’t have much to say about this image, but it is nice to see Maria using a mobility aid. It’s not often we get representation for an ambulatory wheelchair user.
I do wonder about Maria’s relationship with her parents. They weren’t happy with Gerald’s wish to bring her to the ARK so that he could research a cure for her, but they let her go anyways? Maybe Gerald got some sort of order to get her to go or Maria decided she wanted to go with him, but it seems a little odd to me. I’ll expand on this a little later.

Quote from right page: “[Maria] is growing into a lovely young woman. It breaks my heart that someone as bright and energetic as her is diminished by disease. There are no visible effects, and I’ve caught my fellow researchers muttering to each other, doubting her illness. It is infuriating. I find all my reason and restraint vanished when she’s slighted.”
Oh my days, I’ve never felt so seen by a piece of media and it just so happens to be my special interest video game. I am tearing up again thinking about this. Maybe that’s silly but to have a character express his frustrations about people doubting the invisible disability of his grandchild is so touching. I wish people in my life were more like Gerald. People with invisible illnesses get doubted so much because we “look fine”, but it’s so invalidating to have your struggles questioned just because the symptoms aren’t as visibly obvious.

Quote from left page: “[Maria] doesn’t know the full scope of what [Shadow] has been designed for, but she understands he will be under tremendous strain. She’s helped me conceptualize a number of accessories that will help focus his power and aid in his mobility.”
So we now have confirmation that Shadow’s air shoes and inhibitor rings are akin to mobility aids. I headcanoned this but I didn’t know they’d flat out confirm it like that. My favourite character is canonically disabled physically (and I’d argue mentally given his PTSD). I don’t have much to say about this besides being happy that my favourite character is now even more relatable.
It also makes a lot of sense for Maria to help create them because she has experience with her own disability and can offer a perspective that an able bodied person couldn’t. That and it makes Shadow’s connection so much stronger. His mobility aids were designed by Maria. He didn’t just help her with her disability - she helped with his. He wouldn’t be able to function without what she and Gerald created for him.

Quote from the right: “Back on Earth [Maria’s?] parents have been blessed with another little girl. They’re already run tech(?) and she has none of the genetic markers like to [Maria’s] condition. While this was welcomed news, the unspoken commentary was received loud and clear.”
(I am assuming they’re talking about Maria’s sister, but I guess they could also be talking about her cousin.)
So did Maria’s parents see their new daughter as a replacement? If I’m reading that correctly, it’s so sad. Do you think Gerald told Maria about her sister/cousin? If she did know about it, I bet she was excited to meet her. But I get the feeling that her parents back home didn’t really care about her anymore given what Gerald says in his journal. It hurts that much more when you consider how much Maria wanted to go home, perhaps even return to her family.
I feel like all of this makes Maria’s death more tragic for both Gerald and Shadow. For Gerald, he did so much reason and sacrificed so much in order to try and find a cure for Maria. He supported her when no one else did. And from his perspective, despite her illness and the judgement of others, including potentially her own family, she was still positive. And yet she was killed, and he only found out about her death because of a report that had her name on it (I think anyways?).
From Shadow’s perspective, she is the person who gave his name meaning. Despite most being distant and weary of her, she was immediately friendly to him and helped teach him about the world. She helped created the devices used to reduce his pain and control his powers. He quite literally carries part of him with her. She was his sole reason for existing for a long time. And despite being this super supportive, kind, loving person, she was killed. I can imagine him being mad at Gerald for messing with his memories, but I figure there’s a degree of understanding, even if he doesn’t fully agree with what Gerald did. The difference between them both is Shadow’s purpose shifted beyond Maria while Gerald’s did not. Anyways, I digress - this post is about disability rep, not Shadow lore.
I love this and Dark Beginnings for their direct and indirect disability rep. My love for Shadow and Maria has only grown and I have a deeper appreciation for Gerald. I wish more people were as understanding as he is towards people with invisible disabilities.
I don’t really have a conclusion. I just really wanted to yap about the journal entries.

My Light, My Love, My World
Seong Gi-hun x Reader Headcanons
This is basically some headcanons on the perfect partner for Gi-hun and some traits he looks for in the one. There are also some general relationship headcanons listed as well.
A/N: Since the final season of Squid Games is out I wanted to bring back my Squid Games fanfics and imagines. I wanted at least these next few Squid Games headcanons to be sweet and fluffy because these men deserve the world. Especially Gi-hun. I hope that you all enjoy! Also, don’t worry I’ll still be writing for Bucky Barnes and Bob Reynolds. I’ll be posting the next parts of my fics soon.

- Gi-hun needs a partner who understands his past trauma and can see that his past doesn’t reflect who he is as a person.
- He is a fan of gentle gestures such as cuddling or hand holding, quiet nights spent at home relaxing and watching television, and someone who listens to him without judgement. Gi-hun has been through hell and back and needs someone who can be there for him despite the PTSD and trauma that he has from the games.
- Gi-hun is naturally optimistic but has seen the worst of humanity. You appreciate his hopefulness but you help keep him grounded, by helping him make sound decisions.
- Gi-hun's daughter is his world, so a partner who genuinely cares for her and supports his efforts to be a good father is essential. This could involve helping with gifts, attending school events, or simply being a positive influence in both of their lives.
- Gi-hun loves the simpler pleasures in life. Whether it be listening to the rain on the rooftop, or attending a local seasonal festival, the little things truly matter to Gi-hun. By taking the time to listen to him and take note of these important events and moments will help Gi-hun open up and deepen his relationship with you.
- You inspire him to be a better person by attending counseling sessions with him, volunteering on a weekly basis at the local shelter, and simply encouraging each other’s personal growth.
- Despite his hardships, Gi-hun is playful and very loving. He appreciates cuddles, playful kisses on the forehead or cheek, and affectionate banter while cooking with him. You are able to match his wit, and engage in lighthearted banter regularly, to bring joy and laughter back into his life.
- Gi-hun's experiences have made him passionate about fighting for justice. You shares his values and you are willing to stand up for what's right no matter what. Being able to do this for not only him but for others who have faced injustice is a huge blessing in his life. It shows that you are kind and caring for those around you and he respects that.
- Gi-hun has trust issues due to his past betrayals. He cherishes a partner who is honest, reliable, and willing to be vulnerable with him to help him open up and build a strong, lasting connection that will last for years to come.
- Gi-hun is far from perfect, and he knows it. A partner who accepts him for who he is, flaws and all, would make him feel truly loved and appreciated.
- Gi-hun is proud of his Korean heritage. A partner who appreciates and respects his culture, perhaps even learning a bit of the language and customs, would deepen his bond with you.

would love to request a "friends to lovers" story between Hiccup and the reader.
They could have been friends since childhood, but I’m not sure what you think about the idea where, as they grow up, it becomes completely normal for them to hold hands or even share more intimate moments, like a kiss. (Don’t let it show how much I love this dynamic).
I’d love to see how you would develop this story (only if you feel like it, of course). I seriously ADORE your writing! Blessings and kisses, MUAK! ❤💗
One of These Days
Pairing: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III x Fem!Reader
Words: 3,740
You didn’t know when it started; maybe it had been when he’d smiled at you for the first time, or he’d held your hand, or leaned his head over yours.
Tags: httyd 1, httyd 2, friends to lovers
It was growing darker outside.
Frigid air licked at the frame of your back, slithering and scraping past cracks in the walls and shutters. It tasted just as cool as it smelt.
You didn’t know when it started, nor were you sure how to feel about it, what with that odd thing sitting between the two of you. You could tell he expected something, what with the way he often shuffled closer than was necessary and fumbled over his own words in an effort to impress.
“Pass me the hammer?” He asked you without looking, lanky shoulders square, hands pressed against parchment, fingers sliding absentmindedly over scrawled-out charcoal and past thick-handled tools.
You snuffled, blinking from where you sat just beside him.
It was just to the right of you on one slightly uneven workbench, closer to the forge’s main window than away. You grabbed at it with slightly wobbly fingers, grimacing as it nearly fell from your hands.
At twelve winters, you still had some time left before you’d really be expected to bloody your hands, and by bloody your hands, you meant to be able to take down a full-grown dragon on your own.’ Of course, most children by now had done their fair share of slaughtering, both animals and otherwise, but none had been able to make it during a raid without help. While you hadn’t done any of it, putting you sorely behind, you were still fine.
For Hiccup, son of Stoick the Vast, feared dragon-killer, the deadlines were a little bit tighter.
You placed the hammer firmly, determinedly into Hiccup’s open palm, the tips of your fingers dragging against slightly sweaty skin.
Gobber had been generous enough to let you in. He didn’t often or ever stop the two of you from doing things. Even still, this was the first time you’d been invited into the forge, and he hadn’t said anything.
Hiccup had also been generous enough to invite you in. You hadn’t quite recognized the invitation for what it was, nor did you think Hiccup did, either. Really, the experience was proving to be rather close. It was the first time you’d ever seen him so enraptured in his work, though, to be fair, you hadn’t known him for long. He’d hardly talked about it.
You doubted he’d told anyone else- it was going to be a larger machine. He definitely didn’t have everything he needed to make it. Not the wood, which would make up a frame large enough to swarf half your body, or all the metals and ores he’d need to make all the levers and rods.
He wasn’t wearing any fur coat, just an apron and his green tunic. He scribbled notes down like the world might be swallowed if he didn’t. You could tell he’d never done that before- made such detailed instructions, thought up such an elaborate contraction.
You liked him happy. You’d seen him frustrated and you thought that was alright too, puzzling over his own work, tongue peeking out slightly from between two teeth, not comically. It was more a subtle, awkward thing.
With his back to you, he worked with a dedicated, single-minded focus, almost tireless. He worked from the moment he sat down to the moment he finished his task with a passion usually only meant for the battlefield, spotted in the eyes of the hungry past floating ashes and spraying gore. It was a passion that said that nothing had ever come natural to him.
He taught himself how to try.
You thought that he must be daring, more than any Viking warrior.
Maybe he wasn’t yet a man, but you could see the shadow of the man he would be-mature, confident, skilled, focused. The way he worked in the forge- his need to shoot down a dragon paled in comparison.
You wondered if anyone else would ever get to see him the way you did, red-and-orange firelight warming his cheeks.
He caught you looking and he smiled, something almost half-toothless and completely crooked, revealing brown-auburn hair made to glow in the light of the fires, spotted gaps in rows of teeth, freckles dusting over a nose’s bridge like speckles on bird’s feathers.
He spoke almost hesitantly, confusedly, as if he’d just realized he’d forgotten to respond, and hadn’t realized it was that important, or that you would have been expecting it, though that didn’t matter to you, because he’d hardly needed to, “Thanks.”
Even unsure, he was much more at home here than out in the open world.
You felt your head perk, shoulders dropping as a soft, gawky thing curled and writhed bashfully in your stomach, not unlike the way a worm reveled in soft, blooming dirt.
Wow.
It hadn’t occurred to you that during all of a fortnight, you hadn’t seen him smile. Now that you’d seen it, you weren’t sure how you’d ever lived without it.
You thought you could feel the heat radiating from his body as you shuffled closer to him, your fingers curling around his bicep, slightly damp through thick cloth. Your legs were nearly brushing then, leather smock teasing against cloth trouser as you pondered what it might feel like to be handed back soft, honeyed flowers by those very same sooted hands.
You shifted, the grass beneath you wet, dew clinging to the sides of your skirt like a few shiny glass beads. You felt the warm sun against your face, tickling against small hairs and soft skin. Your journal was to your front, scratched up leather cover pressed to your hands, a charcoal stick laying abandoned across empty parchment.
Nearby was a trickling stream, water weaving past water, spraying hollowly against rocks and moss- you could have likened it to yourself and the feeling in your soul, knotting up your chest and mixing up all kinds of squishy insides.
The last you’d seen, Hiccup had been walking. Now, he was nearly falling over himself, legs jerking as his saddle’s straps and reins restricted the movement of his ankles. His shouts echoed around the whole cove, sound bouncing off cold, stone-basin walls.
His dragon slunk off in the distance, still apprehensive and avoidant. It hadn’t quite gotten used to you yet, which was fine, because you were alright with keeping your distance.
Even after you’d had your hand on its slightly-sticky snout, whenever you saw it, you thought of wide, razor-sharp maws and torsos torn from small bodies. A dragon was always going to be a dragon and they were very much deadly creatures- his reassurances of the fact that the Night Fury was just as harmless as any man did you no favors. After all, the only creatures as deadly as a dragon were, in fact, bears… and men. It made you nervous.
It had large, slitted serpent’s eyes, though its scales were flatter and its skin more leathery than warted or slimy as you’d expected from such a fearsome beast. Its face was oddly symmetrical and squat in an abhorrently off-putting way, its horns or fins or whatever else that came sproutings from its skull sort of floppy and bashful and sort of too-big and not-grown-into-yet, just like it’s bulky, soft-looking paws, sort of like Hiccup.
“T-Toothless!” Hiccup practically yowled, distressed and scolding as he fell over, face-planting into dirt and short grass, half helped-along by the wet nose of his dragon. The difference- you felt almost enraptured by it.
He was awful and very often sort of standoffish and sarcastic though not often crude. He was picky and sort of insensitive and he often trampled over boundaries like he was dancing hand-in-hand with trouble, except he didn’t know how to dance, and the hall’s fires hadn’t been lit in a while- not for a celebration, at the very least.
In that moment, though, you remembered the way it felt to have his folded knuckle digging slightly into your shoulders as he nudged against you distractedly, just out of view behind the wooden barricade as he was scolded by Gobber. There was something about it that you thought might be either meaningful or accidental that turned over something in your stomach, most particularly because -and not in spite of- the fact that it had come from such a scrawny, lanky, often very, very clumsy-footed boy.
The way he’d seemed, looking off reminded you of his father a little bit. You saw it, really- all the good and awful parts of the Chief that he’d most definitely inherited, even when most others couldn’t see it. You were scared of it somewhat; of how confident it made him, how distracted and sort of brave-like he could be, even if it only ever ended up making things work for the worst.
Past all your yearning, aching, wanting, and needing-to-have-ings, it scared you just as much as you thought you could watch forever. Did he ever feel the same way about you?
You hadn’t noticed as Hiccup had untangled himself from his trappings. He must have though, and quickly, as during the time you’d spent thinking, he’d walked up close enough to you to cast a long shadow over your face, pulling you out of your own reverie.
You blinked aimlessly as he settled down next to you. You spoke hesitantly, “So, uhm, how did the saddle…?”
“He didn’t let me put it on.” Hiccup grumbled petulantly. While nothing more or less than sort of scrawny, with the way you were slumping and the way he was sitting with his back straight, he looked sort of tall. It did nothing to erase the pout from his face or the nasal from his voice.
You started, squeaking as his dragon -for the dragon was most definitely his, now- stepped out from the shadows, melded to its back like a fresh set of armor as it stalked its way around the clearing, eternally predatory.
Hiccup seemed to relax some as you leaned against him, sort of using his shoulder as a shield, scooting behind it as the Night Fury grew closer. You felt particularly offended, even as he let you drape his arm over your middle, leaving his hand dangling awkwardly in the air. Protect me!
“Wow. What did I do?” Hiccup asked, half-smiling, shifting where he sat, unintentionally pressing your shoulder into slightly jagged rock as he got comfortable.
Sometimes you caught him looking, eyes agonizingly blank though the rest of his expression looked to be somewhat soft, the corners of his mouth pressing into a sweeter-looking half-smile.
You grumbled incomprehensibly as you felt yourself once again eclipsed by shadow, much bigger this time.
You leaned harder against his shoulder, one hand coming to tangle in his sleeve. You eyed it apprehensively, feeling thin twine catch against the place nail met skin. He didn’t get it.
“Don’t leave me behind.” You said suddenly, abruptly. “Ever.”
Hiccup rubbed the back of his head with his free hand, freckles and thin fingers easily losing themselves under the mop of your hair.
“I-ah, yeah, okay.” Hiccup said, brows crinkled, slight confusion evident in his voice, though it didn’t seem any less calm or comfortable for it. He especially didn’t seem to mind as you clung closer to him, something in his face glowing a blotchy, raw pink. “Alright.”
You were in danger. Really, if enjoyment was all he could bother to feel for your predicament, then you took back all of your praises.
You scoffed miffed-ly at a brown, quirked, knowing brow. The devil- He was such a boy.
It didn’t matter what configuration of the face you had or your height or size of hair color. That wasn’t what he thought of when he thought of you, at least not at first.
He looked back at you, sitting in the grass, leaning behind him and he couldn’t help but to think about how pretty your smile was, the way the sun lay over the side of your face and made you look as if you were glowing. Something in his neck twinged as he did, probably sprung or pulled earlier while he was trying to wrestle the saddle onto Toothless.
You were smart- a lot smarter than him on a lot of fronts, though he was pretty ingenious on his own, something anyone, even you, was hard-pressed to match.
Now, he realized, you were just as squirrely as you were cynical.
He’d never really thought of you as someone that needed shielding. You were just as capable and incapable as him in equal measure… mostly. But in that moment, the realization came to him that maybe you… wanted to be?
He looked at you as you muttered something foul under your breath, feeling the same way he did trying to figure out a puzzle and the same way he felt piecing axles, barrels, ropes and wheels together to make up something interesting.
There really wasn’t much else to it, was there?
Really, if that was what you wanted, Hiccup was anyone but the right man for the job, but, well, if you wanted him… Hiccup winced as you dug your nails into his arm, leaving what was probably a deep set of crescent-shaped imprints in his arm, even through his tunic.
Yeah, he still wasn’t sure how to feel about it.
“It’s cold,” You mumbled absentmindedly, eyes shutting some as a breeze brushed over your cheeks and past your ears.
You were right. It was chilly, of course, so high up in the watchtower. It was only your second time up there.
“Yeah…” Hiccup said, leaning closer to the fire.
The two of you bumped shoulders, using a spare piece of kindling like a chair. Your ankles were hooked together, tied like a knot in a rope. The sides of your legs were so closely pressed together that they were nearly flush, despite the fact that no one else was there besides the two of you, everyone else having long since packed up their things and left. He wasn’t sure what they’d talked about. He couldn’t remember.
Hiccup kept his eyes exactly where he shouldn’t, watching you.
Your eyes were half-lidded. You leaned over your knees more than not as you turned over a small, split spit, a chunk of lamb speared over one end, his fur coat draped over your shoulders, one hand clutching at the opposite, empty sleeve. You looked very pretty like that, contented.
“They’ve got to add some walls up here, you know,” You said, your head tilting upwards as you examined a particularly soft bit of meat, thumb sliding up your skewer as you tilted it slightly downwards.
Wow. Hiccup’s eyes were half-lidded, even as he poked at the fires with a stick, nudging the ends of charred logs closer to the fire half-heartedly.
He could hold you by the waist and sway with you and touch your foreheads together and you could play-wrestle and fight in the grass but he couldn’t kiss you and tug his hands through your hair unless he was braiding it and it was driving him crazy. He didn’t want to or have to but now that he knew he could, he thought about it pretty often. He was a teenage boy and you were a teenage girl and he’d always been curious, so of course he’d considered it.
He needed to. He had for years with all the force of a child who’d just learned how to dream. It was- It was… The feeling was surprisingly moral, but no less impassioned.
“One of these days…” HIccup mumbled distractedly.
One of these days. He thought that every morning, now.
Hiccup blinked, the two of you standing in front of each other, curling your fingers around each other, with your fingers still relaxed. It was comfortable, warm… easy. He turned it over in his head, again and again.
The cheering of the arena was nearly deafening to his back, the sound of metal weapons crashing against cage bars grating to his ears. They wanted him, blood, the Nightmare… Astrid was waiting behind you, eyes burning holes into him with all the conflicted feelings of a lost warrior. Even past all that, it wasn’t hard, he found, to focus on you; the lines of your face, the soft and hard curves, each and every blemish and soft patch of skin.
Huh. He thought.
He leaned forward and pressed his face against your bowed head, your forehead touching his shoulder dully past thick brown furs. He felt the split of your hairline against the tip of his nose. His eyes were closed tightly shut.
He reveled in the feeling for the moment, taking in the way your hair felt against his cheeks and the way the leftover grasses and burnt wood and juniper left a scent that laid thick over your scalp, both dusty and spiced, a lot like pine.
Ultimately, he was doing this for Toothless, but now, today, he thought that he might be doing it a little for you, too.
The whistling of Toothless' -no, the Fury’s- wings nearly stunned him, loud enough to make it more difficult to think.
Hiccup nearly choked on wind as he gripped onto the handles he’d built into Toothless’ saddle. For a moment, he thought they wouldn’t hold. After all, one small strap of leather was nearly nothing against the full force of the Gods’ cursed offspring.
They had never gone this fast before, his body felt hollow, both as if he was being nailed to the back of his dragon and as if he might just float off at any moment. The feeling It made him cautious just as much as he was focused.
Even past all of that, the space to his back felt abhorrently empty, and not just because of the way they pierced through the sky. Your tears staining the back of his shirt as he and Toothless dived and shot… He wasn’t sure he’d ever seen you cry before. He still hadn’t- it was silent for the most part, and he’d just felt it, really. If he ever had, it hadn’t been like this.
He couldn’t bring you up with him. He couldn’t. Just as he’d almost died in the ring, you had too.
It wasn’t merely a roar, more of a phenomenon, something that shook even the air around him. It was all-consuming and nearly inescapable. The Queen had followed.
Hiccup furrowed his brows and kept urging his dragon upwards.
Rain beat heavily against the roof of the Chief’s hut, making the world around you feel even more cold, weak and hollow. Thunder roared violently outside as the storm raged on.
“Hiccup,” You choked on air and spit and half a sob as you stared down at a sickly, freckled face, sweat running down both too-pale and blotchy red cheeks, staining his shirt dark. Freshly-changed bandages bled a deep crimson, changing with the color of hot blood and foul puss as his knees, one foot-less and the other not, jerked reflexively against the sheets of his blanket.
He’d been consistently out between long bouts of delirium and fever, his eyes rolling beneath his lids, just barely visible under the flickering light of a single, dying candle, twitching viciously. You clutched at Hiccup’s slick palm with both hands as he fitfully fought his way past conscious dreams.
You’d stayed- you’d stayed all night and day.
If dedication had ever really meant anything, if worship and hope and work had ever really meant a damn, if the Gods had ever been real and if their decree had ever meant anything, you hoped your will reached the heavens.
“Lass,” The Chief rumbled deeply from behind you, his heavy weight causing old floorboards to creak deeply as he shifted.
You didn’t even have the energy to shake off the nearly unbearable heat of his father’s palm on your shoulder as you cried yourself nearly sick with tears and snot and spit gathering at every orifice. It was an ugly cry, an undignified, ungainly one, followed with all your fears and hopes and despairs.
You had your own injuries to tend to, yet you felt as if you couldn’t, not in that moment, not even if it meant that you’d have to be fighting off your own pains and fevers later, if you hadn’t already fallen under their grasp. The only thing you could do was watch and feel a need for Hiccup to be okay so deep it rendered you helpless. Ultimately, though, you knew his recovery had nothing to do with you.
Hiccup’s dragon had left to cauterwal outside, to wail and wreak havoc and feast on the latest fisherman’s catch. He seemed less worried than you and the Chief but more worried than everyone else, and rightly so.
Suddenly, you started.
With a voice both intensely raspy and wet, Hiccup mumbled your name. It hadn’t been anything special, more a simple expression of his recognition, yet you sniveled as Hiccup clutched back at your hand, his grip weak compared to yours, his eyes dull with the force of his fever. For a very long moment, he held it.
“Hiccup.” You tried again.
The Chief’s hand tightened over your shoulder, squeezing already stiff and sore muscles.
The last time you’d seen his eyes, he’d been staring you in the face, mouth opening and closing pointedly and yet no words had come out. He’d dropped you then, right before rushing up into the sky on Toothless’ back.
Parts of you had been pinned by the rubble after and you had nearly been left behind. You could barely think past the pain, yet you still remembered how it felt to be left on the ground, hands clutched to your chest, mind completely fogged with pain and fear, hoping and hoping and hoping, cringing and in pain as the sky flashed. The terrifying outline of the dragon queen in the sky, smoke and fog larger than life, everyone certain Hiccup was going to die, himself most certainly… It seared a painful picture into your mind.
Part of you had been in danger, then. You weren’t anymore. Now, you really loved Hiccup Haddock, and you needed him to be okay.
He hoped you were safe. He didn’t know what he would do otherwise.
He couldn’t ever let you go. Never. Not until- Not unless he died, even if it hurt and his forehead felt weighted with the pressure of all the world’s fires.

How would you all imagine Optimus’ reaction when he realizes he is in love with you?
I think he would see it as a blessing and a curse.
He is so overjoyed with happiness to be able to fall in love and be devoted to someone. You. In Cybertron, having a sparkmate was extremely rare and he thought that he would never get to experience love. Especially with a human.
But for the All-Spark, has he gone insane?
At first, he starts to avoid you. His thoughts are going insane. They are becoming … too scandalous. It was just hand-holding, then touches, then he began to wonder how it would feel to touch your lips with his own intake.
You always gave him books to read, some of them about romance and the concept of kissing would always come up. He didn’t know what it was until he looked it up online and saw pictures of it.
Now he couldn’t get the picture out of his mind.
He craves to do something so intimate. With you only.
He asks you about it and the conversation suddenly turns into a story-time about your first kiss.
Optimus was unknown to envy … until today.
How he despised the being who took your first kiss. And whoever had been blessed enough to caress your lips.
After that day, Optimus was … more distant.
He thought that if stopped communicating with you so often, then maybe his feelings would subside.
What a terrible mistake. They only grew stronger. More fierce, more … wild. He wants you to love him. Truly.
He wants to see you everyday. To recite you all the poetry he has written for you under the moonlight. For the nights together to turn into passionate ones. Where there are only touches, caresses and kisses. And in the craziest of his fantasies, his more dark and wild ones … he wants to spank bond with you. To become one. To drown in each other’s body and pleasure. And out of that bond, a sparkling is born.
Oh, how would he defy the gods to only make his wishes true. How he would very much give up on his dignity and become completely yours if only you ask him.
He wants you to release him from his torment, from whatever spell you had put him in.
You notice his distance and confront him about it.
And the more you talk, the more he wants to kiss you. To feel you.
And he was about to steal it from you. To take what he desired, to satisfy his most vile of needs.
But before Optimus could do that, he stops and looks at your eyes. It was evident that you were surprised.
He could live without your love, but he cannot live with your hate.
Optimus apologizes, regret immediately takes over him. You must hate him already, for such a bold attempt.
He had become a pathetic mess, reverting to when he was once Orion Pax. He stumbled with his words, avoided eye contact and his inability to pronounce the right words, your eyes on him, made him tear up a little.
What was the point of living if you hated him? How can he continue if after this nothing will ever be the same.
Yes, it won’t be the same.
Because you jumped into his arms and kissed him so gently, with so much love that the great Optimus Prime, for a moment, had stopped being a Prime and finally, became free.

A/N: I just realized I haven’t made these two kiss on any of my fics? The Darkest Hour will have a kiss in the next chapter … Oops! Spoilers!!!

✎...angst, happy ending, fluff
love is a blessing and a curse. a beautiful magnificent feeling that envied by many. you had always thought love was a blessing, it was a fortune to be in a world where this warmth existed. you had been able to experience this blessing through kento nanami.
he was the epitome of a perfect man, but no one is perfect. his biggest and most detrimental flaw was he could not date you. he was fully infatuated with your existence, kissing the ground you walk on. but, his morals stood in the way. he could not leave his sorcerer life behind, not yet, not until he sees his mentee yuuji itadori succeed. his current responsibilities outweighed his future with you. you and him had the future ahead of you, itadori did not have that luxury.
"i can't y/n, i just can't," kento's packing up his things, getting ready to leave your apartment.
"why ken, why? why can't you just for once act for yourself," you pleaded with the stubborn man. "please kento."
"I swear y/n, after shibuya, i'm done, let's finally get married. just please let me go once more, just to tie up loose ends," kento hug squeezing your trembling figure. "please y/n."
you had a bad feeling, your heart sunk to your stomach as you watched the blonde man rush out of your apartment. and just like that, he was gone.
endless sleepless nights, no updates from him. love is a curse. the worst and deceiving curse to ever walk this earth. a sick and twisted curse that consumes you inside and out without a care in the world. a curse that plagued your nights and days. a curse that had led your disheveled self to finally pick up the constant calls from shoko.
"y/n, you finally picked up," a sigh of relief could be heard. "i know, i understand your worry, i do. but that fear shouldn't lead you to ignore my calls. y/n i was worried for you, you're my best friend for god's sake. i thought i lost you too."
"too?" you paused. "what do you mean by too?"
"we've lost a lot of sorcerers, it's a murder spree. nobara is in critical condition, gojo is unreachable, it's a me-"
"kento?" the dreadful feeling had appeared once more. now, all consuming. every muscle, bone, and nerve in your body felt like it was gonna turn inside out, the fact that shoko did not mention it first had made you come to the worst scenario, kento was dead.
kento was gone, he wasn't able to marry. he wasn't able to be the father to your kids. most importantly, you weren't gonna grow old together. all these thoughts rushed through your mind, until you heard shoko's voice calling you out.
"y/n, kento's alive," you felt it. you could hear fireworks, cheers and claps. "he's was in critical condition, but there's severe damages i simply can't undo. he's lost an eye and he has permanent scars. he won't be able to be a sorcerer anymore, but he's alive."
"actually, cause you took so long to answer, nanami's awake," shoko chuckled. you could hear rustling through the phone before you heard a familiar voice.
"y/n, w-"
"ken," you cried out, unable to stop your tears. "i thought you were gone, i tho-"
"let's get married."

Entangled Feelings (Mina)
WC: 7.5k

It could have been either bless or a course, you didn't know yet. She was the only person you could call family, yet her demeanour was far off from what is the classic representation of a good parent.
Mina adopted you when you were still a child, you had no memories of your biological parents.
You have had the best education she could afford to give you, and she wasn't even that bad as a person to be around while you were growing up. She was fun to be around and was her fun to play with you to video games during your spare time.
Yet Mina didn't renounce to hang out with her friends and go partying when they had the chance, you had seen her coming home more than a few times wasted, but nonetheless the day after she was always up before you preparing breakfast for you.
You weren't blind, you had always known Mina was a drop-dead gorgeous woman. Attractive but cute, able to stay at home wearing a flannel pj for a long weekend and going out all decked out like she was about to strike everyone's heart, and surely she could do it.
When puberty hit you, it did hard. Your hormones were galloping like thoroughbred, especially thanks to Mina and her mini dress she used to wear when she was around the house, and she could tell the effect she had on you. During the the years some of her panties went missing, and weird stains on her tops; all of that was a fun game for her. She was teasing you all along, and you were powerless against her.
It was Saturday afternoon, Ginza, Mina wanted to go shopping with you tagging along. You weren’t enjoying the experience in the slightest, you didn’t like trying on clothes and most of all you found it unfair to carry all items in the shopping bags Mina bought.
“Come on stop whining, you are just carrying the few things I purchased like a man should do for his woman. Now let’s head to the Fendi store there’s a new bag I wanna look for, if you are gonna be a good boy I will treat you to tonight’s dinner in my favourite sushi place”
During the dinner, glass after glass of the finest Krug champaign, Mina removed her white heels and without anyone noticing started rubbing her right foot on your tights and then manoeuvred to your pelvis area.
Taken aback by her actions you felt stunned.
“ Bloody Nora, what are you doing?” You yelled-whispered
“I am just getting started, this is your treat after all. You have been a good boy for your mum” She praised you continuing the massage on your lower area.
Blue balls are what you got in the end. Mina received a text from her friend Sana, who invited her to a private party in a disco in Roppongi.
“I’m gonna fetch Sana by taxi and then we will head to Roppongi, you should get home and bring the shopping bag safely home. Our business will be postponed” she smiled
Mina didn’t even bother to ask you if you wanted to join her and Sana.
“ Are you gonna party dressed like that?” You complained
“ Of course I am. What’s the point of being all decked out if I cannot show off? Are you afraid I can receive some attention because of my outfit?” She mischievously retorted
“ Suddenly I see, what I could not see, so suddenly you are showing your true colour. What kind of married woman goes out wearing a mini-skirt to show off her bare legs?” You raised the tone of your voice.
“ Someone who wanna have fun, goodnight baby ” Mina raised her arm to call a taxi and in the blink of an eye, she went off.
Gobsmacked you got home an hour later, shattered for carrying all the bags you tossed on the sofa.
“Fuck off, how can she have gone to that party dressed like a hoe” You complained on your own.
5:12 in the morning. That was the moment you heard someone stumbling up the stairs.
Mina managed to enter your bedroom and let herself fall on the bed, landing inevitably on you. Jolted awake you tried to move Mina from your body, but unlucky she had arms and legs spread wide open like a starfish.
“ For god sake Mina, can you move you are smashing me?” you demanded
Mina repositioned herself above you with her legs around your belly and her arms straightened on your chest, in this way, you had the chance to look at her face.
The red lipstick was all ruined, the black eyeliner was all dripped down. She stared into your eyes for a few seconds before lowering her face and trying to kiss you.
“ Never in a million years, I will let you kiss me with those filthy, dirty lips of yours; which god only knows what they have touched” You pushed her back and raised your torso sitting on the bed.
“ You have to think incredibly high of yourself to come here in my room after having had some kind of affair with someone a few hours ago”
“ I might have indulged myself with two salesmen tonight but I’m not satisfied in the slightest, I am still horny and needy. Please me.” She said
At this point, you stood up pushing Mina off of you. You went berserk, the audacity she had to cheat on your father and the family's trust. Might have been the alcohol, might have been the natural bitchy demeanour, but you couldn’t bear to look at her so pretentious and bratty so you swiftly but not too harshly slapped her on her left cheek.
“ I don’t want a hoe in my house. What you did tonight is daunting to process. I am gonna sleep in the tatami room, you can stay here or wherever you like but stay away from me” You didn’t even look at her
As you were about to leave the bedroom.“ Your father knows it, he gave me his permission. I can prove it.”
“Stop it already. I don’t give a flying fuck if my father allowed you to be a free spirit while he is away. I can’t stand to live under the same roof with someone who acts as you do” This was your cue to leave
Morning came, and you woke up with your lower back soaring due to not being used to sleeping on the floor. Mina entered the tatami room wearing a pair of trousers and a crop top T-shirt. “I am so sorry for my demeanour about last night, I shouldn’t have come to your room in the first place, let alone tell you about my night out. What can I do to make it up for you?”
“Don’t go and fuck around like a whore, you should be better than that. When Dad told me about your needs and that it was my new duty to help you with that I felt ecstatic, now I could have the chance to have sex with the woman I have been obsessed with for the last few months. Still, I was unsure about myself. I am not gifted as my father is down there and I have no experience.” You looked down
Mina closed the gap between you two and raised your chin with her right hand. “ I’ll not joke around the dimensions are not important but they are not paramount, if you know how to use your body you’ll have no problem at all. Plus from what I have seen you don’t seem so small either. I can teach you, and you can please me. It’s a win-to-win situation.” Mina softly kissed you on the cheeks.
"I'm sorry for being a bitch but I have been so horny since your dad left, it's so frustrating, so now, we are gonna have the first lesson if you don’t mind. I'll squeeze you dry until I'm satisfied". "Now, just take them off~" she sighed as you bit her neck. You put your hand into her trousers.
"Don't rush into it" she whispered, she grabbed your hand and put it on her breast. Her tits aren't huge, but still satisfyingly handful. You slipped off your T-shirt, throwing it to the side. You leaned forward, kissing her breast through her bra, your hands worked their way up, slowly pulling her bra up.
Your lips teased her breast, biting as she moaned. Your hands trailed down her hips, into her trousers, going right to her underwear.
Mina’s pussy was soaking wet, the love juice pouring onto my thighs like honey. You kneeled and helped Mina to remove her trousers and underwear. Inserting two fingers into her hole "Yabai" she moaned, as your fingers curled inside of her. She moved her hips down, pushing your fingers deeper into her pussy. Your pace quickened a third finger was adamant to be shoved in Mina’s fold. Her walls were closing around them, her hands pulled your hair causing your head to throb. You did not stop, increasing your pace, her pussy walls continued tightening as her body suddenly shook. She came as more of her pussy juice gushed onto the floor galore, shaking like a leaf during a tornado. She placed her hands on your head trying to stand still, as her orgasm subdued you removed your fingers from her womb and gave taste to her juice.
“You know it tastes like honey.” You stood up and not so gently pushed Mina on the tatami mattress.
“Now go on. Fuck me.” Mina spread her legs and arms, waiting for you to put it in. You aligned yourself with her entrance, pushing in slightly. There was some resistance, but you could push past it and inside. You felt Mina’s pussy stretching to accommodate you. Mina’s walls pushed against your cock, and you both moaned. Mina’s cunt was tight and wet. You pushed in more. Without further ado, no time to adjust was given to Mina’s walls, you rammed her pussy like a maniac, grabbing her hips and pushing her towards you.
Various positions were tried, fluids of all genres soaked the tatami mattress, and curses and blasphemies were yelled. Half a dozen of used condoms were scattered near the wall.
“Mina I cannot take anymore, I am about to cum” Mina kept riding you like she was trying to win a race at Ascot.
“Don’t come yet, I am about to. You have to pleasure Mommy once more.” Mina arched her back backwards as she rode her climax out, and then collapsed on your chest. Swiftly you helped Mina off of you and you removed your condom.
“Suck me off like you mean it Mina” Mina placed her lips above your member and bobbed her head up and down swirling her tongue around the tip. With your hands you pushed Mina’s head against your crotch even more, engulfing your penis in her throat. And within a few more minutes you coated Mina’s mouth in white, and as talented as she was not a single drop of jizz went out of her mouth.
With a resounding pop, Mina removed her lips from your member. “ You aren’t bad at all for a newbie. With my training, you will become perfect”
As both of you stood up, you abruptly pinned Mina to the wall almost choking her. “ No more fucking around you get me Miss. You have me now.”
“ This is the possessive little boy I want. Fuck me like you did this morning or better and I have no reasons to look for any other man.” She smirked and rolled her tongue teasing you.
It was a Friday late afternoon, you were climbing the stairs to go to your room. Passing by Mina's room you saw a multitude of clothes scattered on the floor, and Mina was in front of her mirror trying on the umpteenth outfit.
" Nope.. It's not hot enough" She commented about the outfit she was wearing.
She looked up and noticed you entering the room.
" Come here, you need to pick what dress I should wear tonight"
You stood in front of Mina. " And why should I pick the dress? I'm not your boyfriend"
Mina's smile was like the sun breaking through the clouds on a rainy day. " Well, you might not be my boyfriend but you are my son, and your opinion matters. So come on, what dress do you want to see on me tonight?"
You felt a bit awkward, but she had put you in a situation in which you couldn't say no. So, you started trying various dresses on her. It took a good half an hour to find the right one. The final pick was a silver glowing top which left her back totally exposed , a leather skirt with black stockings and leather boots. You were feeling uneasy but you couldn't say no to Mina.
" So you really wanna wear that?" You asked Mina for the third time.
" Yes, I really wanna wear this. Now I wanna see how you wanna dress up tonight." Mina said.
" Me? Why should I dress up? I've never been told to go clubbing tonight." You retorted.
" Didn't I tell you that I'm inviting you out tonight with me and my friends?" Mina questioned.
" No, you didn't." You said.
" Well, I'm inviting you. We will have so much fun together!" Mina's face lit up like a Christmas tree.
You were stunned. " I don't want to go clubbing, it's not my thing." You protested.
" Oh, you need to go with me and have fun. Come on, say yes, pleeease?" She begged you with her puppy dog eyes.
You couldn't resist her begging. " Fine. Let's get this over with." You gave up.
" Yay!" Mina shouted. " Now let's choose your outfit for tonight!"
The next hour was a disaster, Mina was trying on different outfits on you like you were a mannequin. You didn't like it but you didn't want to make her angry. Mina decided you had to wear a black skinny jeans with a white tight T-shirt and a pair of sneakers. She had picked you up a brand new pair of black skinny jeans and she helped you to wear it. Her hands were feeling your body as she was checking if the fit was perfect.
"These jeans are too thight, I can't move my legs" You complained in front of your mirror.
" It's fine, you look perfect, they aren't that skinny, you can move around, and you can wear it tonight" Mina insisted.
You decided to not fight her, after all she had already won. She was the one leading this game.
Mina drove you to the club, you were feeling a bit anxious. You had never been to a club like this before and you were feeling out of place. Mina got out of her car and came to open your door for you.
" Come on, let's go inside!" She said with her signature smile.
Inside the club, the lights were flashing everywhere and the music was blasting your eardrums. The people were dancing as if they were possessed, it was like an inferno.
" This is insane!" You yelled to Mina.
" Isn't it? Come on let's go to the VIP area!" She shouted back.
Mina pulled you through the crowd, you felt like you were gonna pass out due to the heat. The VIP area was less crowded but still quite hot. Mina's friends were there already drinking and dancing.
" Here you are!" Mina shouted to them. " This is my son!"
Mina's friends were quite peculiar. You would expect a woman to have more female friends than males, here wasn't the case. In the group there were 4 girls, Mina included, and 6 men.
All of them stared at you two with weird looks, Mina was the most shining star in the all universe and you were just an average young boy.
Her friends welcomed you two and one of her male friends came to Mina and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
" I'm so happy to see you. I've missed you." He whispered in Mina's ear.
Mina was blushing a bit. " I'm glad to see you too! This is my son, isn't he cute?" Mina said and gave him a pat on the shoulder.
Her male friend was taken aback by her question. " Yeah, whatever. I don't really care about him, you know who I am focused on" He said biting his lips.
You didn't really like how he was acting, he was too flirtatious and Mina was playing with him like a cat with a mouse.
You didn't care for her flirting, it was her life and you knew she wasn't gonna stop, you were a bit jealous but you were trying to ignore it.
Mina was getting a drink for her, and she asked you if you wanted one too. You refused, she pouted a bit but then she shrugged and took a sip of her drink. It didn't take long for her to start dancing, and her male friend joined her soon after.
They danced for a while, Mina was really moving her hips and her friend was getting more and more close to her. You were feeling more and more uneasy, the more they were dancing, the more he was getting close to her. You didn't know what to do, you felt like you needed to protect Mina from this creep but he was a friend of her and she was enjoying his company.
You didn't know what to do.
" I think I'm gonna go outside for a bit.” You said to one of Mina's friends who were remaining at the table.
You didn't bother to wait for an answer and you went to the outside. You needed some fresh air, you were feeling like you were gonna faint. You didn't know how to process the feelings that were rising in your chest. You had always known Mina was a woman with her needs and her life, but seeing her like that made you feel weird. You didn't know if you were jealous or possessive of her, or maybe it was another reason why you felt this way. You just knew you needed some fresh air and a bit of time alone to think.
After 15 minutes you went back inside the club, Mina and her friend were still dancing and they were even closer than before, her arms were around his neck and he had his on her waist. You felt like a dagger was piercing your heart, you couldn't watch Mina and this man dancing anymore. You needed to get away from there.
You went to Mina and her friend who had his head on Mina's cheek. " Come on Mina. I know you like me, if not we wouldn't have been dancing for a while now. Don't be a prick tease" He said to Mina.
Mina laughed off, at that moment you went to her and stated that you were about to go home because you weren't feeling well.
" I can go home by cab if you need to keep staying here. I've already called one indeed." You affirmed biting your tongue.
" Oh, I don't like to leave you alone. I will go with you then" Mina said to you.
" There is no need. You are having fun obviously and I am not feeling like staying here, I don't want to be a burden to you." You bowed and proceeded towards the exit of the club.
The fresh air immediately helped you to relax a bit, you felt a bit better now that you weren't inside that hellhole anymore. You heard the sound of Mina's heels getting closer and closer to you, you didn't turn around, you kept looking at the traffic.
" What's the matter?" Mina asked you once she got near you.
" As far as I'm concerned I've already informed you about what I am about to do, so your presence here is utterly pointless Mina" You scoffed.
" Why are you being like this?" Mina asked you, her voice was a bit softer than usual.
" Never mind. Look a cab is coming here" You stepped forward and raised your arm. " Good night Mina. See you tomorrow"
The cab arrived and you went inside, you didn't look back at Mina once.
You went straight to your room as soon as you arrived home, you were feeling like shit and you wanted to be alone. Your head was spinning and you felt like boiling, luckily you were able to plop on your bed before you passed out due to the high fever.
The next morning, you woke up with the most horrible headache and your fever had risen even more. Mina was there beside your bed with a thermometer in her hand. She was wearing a white satin nightgown and her hair was untied.
" Good morning! How are you feeling today?" Mina asked you with a gentle smile.
" I feel terrible" You whispered your voice was hoarse and your head was pounding.
Mina put her hand on your forehead, she felt your temperature. " Oh my poor boy, you are burning up"
" Don't pity me now, when last night you were all over your fucking friend." You said.
" Oh, my son, you are so cute when you're jealous" Mina pouted her lips.
You glared at her, you were feeling so angry you couldn't think straight. You didn't know why you were feeling so possessive of her, but you just felt like you needed to protect her from everything and everyone.
"Please tell me you didn't fuck him last night" You pleaded.
" Of course not! You are such a stupid boy. He isn't even the type of man I would go out with." Mina said and you felt relieved.
Mina got up and went to your bathroom. She came back with a glass of water and a pill.
" Here take this, it will help you to reduce the fever."
You took the glass from her hand, she helped you sit up so you could drink it. You swallowed the pill down and gave Mina back the glass. She sat on the bed beside you and caressed your head.
" I'm so sorry if I made you feel like this. You know you are the only one I care about, right?" She said.
You nodded and she wrapped her arm around you pulling you close. You felt like you were gonna die of fever but you were so happy Mina was holding you that it didn't even matter.
Mina helped you to take off your clothes and she tucked you in, she didn't leave your side once during that whole day. She fed you and bathed you, she was taking care of you like a mother should do with her child. You felt so loved and grateful to have her as your mum.
Mina took a week off from work to keep an eye on you. " Mina thank you for being here for me" You said.
" Anytime for my son. I am so sorry again for the other night. I promise you that you are the only one I care about in this world" She said to you and kissed your forehead.
" I'm feeling better now" You stated. " Sucking your tits would make me feel even better"
You smiled.
Mina chuckled. " You are such a horny boy"
She moved her lips closer to yours, and you wrapped your arms around her waist and pulled her to you. You started kissing her neck and you could feel her breath quickening. You pulled off her T-shirt and her bra and your hands went straight to her breasts. She was moaning louder as your lips went down to her nipples. You licked them, sucking and nibbling them softly. You moved your hands to her shorts, unzipping them and pulling them off of her. She was completely naked, you couldn't resist anymore. You pulled down her panties and pushed two of your fingers inside her pussy. You felt her juices dripping on your fingers.
She moaned louder, you knew she was close, but you wanted to make her cum even harder. You moved your fingers faster and you could feel her pussy walls tightening around your fingers, she was cumming and you felt her pussy squirting her juices everywhere. You didn't stop, you kept moving your fingers and she kept cumming until she fell on your chest panting.
She smiled at you, she was so happy and content. You kissed her softly and she giggled.
" You are such a horny boy" She whispered. " But you are my horny boy"
"Let me rest tonight and tomorrow I'll fuck the shit out of you" You promised her. She nodded and went to her room. You fell asleep with a smile on your face, you were so happy to have Mina as your mother. You knew you would do anything for her. You were so in love with her. You knew that your feelings weren't right but you just couldn't help it. You loved her for the person she was. You knew that you would always protect her and love her no matter what.
The next day Mina woke you up kissing your collar bone. You opened your eyes and looked at her. She was wearing a black satin robe with nothing underneath. Her hair was down and her makeup was light.
" Good morning. How are you feeling?" She asked you.
" I'm feeling great. I need to fuck you." You answered.
Mina smiled and crawled on the bed to your feet. She started to pull down your boxers, revealing your cock. It was hard and ready for her.
" Oh my, look at this. Looks like someone needs a blowjob" She giggled.
She bent down and started sucking your cock. She was moaning and groaning with her mouth full of your cock. You watched her as she was sucking you. You were so turned on by watching her. You held her hair back so you could see her better. She was swirling her tongue on the tip of your cock, you were so close to cumming. She kept sucking and moaning until you exploded in her mouth. You watched as she swallowed all of your cum.
" That was delicious. I can taste your love" She smiled and kissed you. You felt her tongue against yours and you could feel your cum in her mouth.
" I want you" You mumbled liking her ear lobe. " I need you" You pleaded with her.
Mina laughed and lay down on the bed. She spread her legs for you and you knew this was it. You moved between her legs and she pulled you on top of her. You felt her hands moving on your lower back as you entered her. You felt her pussy stretching around you. You felt like you were in heaven. She moaned louder and louder as you started moving inside of her. You could feel her pussy walls closing around you. You were moving faster and faster inside of her and you could feel her juices dripping on your balls. You were getting close but you didn't want to stop. You kept moving and groaning until you felt her cumming underneath you. You felt her pussy squirting everywhere and you withdrew your cock and with the head, you rubbed her clit. You watched as she was cumming even harder. You could see her juices dripping on her legs and your cock. You felt her shivering underneath you and you knew you should stop.
" Mina, do you want me to stop?" You asked.
" Please don't. I'm so close to another orgasm" She pleaded.
You shoved your length inside her womb and grabbing her legs to have more grip, you plowed in her pussy mercilessly. Mina was moaning and screaming as loud as she could. You could feel her juices dripping on your balls as she was cumming once more. You felt her pussy walls tightening around you as she was squirting even more. You were so close to cumming but you didn't want to stop. You kept moving inside of her and moaning.
" Mina, I'm about to cum" You said.
" Please fill me up. I want to feel you inside of me" She begged.
Your hips were in overdrive. With a few more thrusts you filled her womb with your cum. You felt your cock throbbing inside her as your seed filled her pussy. You watched as she was cumming once more. You could see her juices dripping on her legs and your cock. You felt her shivering underneath you pulled out of her and laid down beside her.
" I love you Mina" You whispered.
" I love you too my horny boy. You are mine from now on baby boy” She smiled.
————————————————————————————————————————
Mina was beautiful it was obvious to you but today was entirely different. She had chosen a black leather jacket and a tight, sexy jeans skirt. Her top was a tight jeans piece of fabric that hugged her curves perfectly and showed off the swell of her breasts. To finish it all, she wore white heels accentuating her long legs.
Her hair cascaded down her shoulders flawlessly and her makeup was spot-on. She looked like a million quid! But what caught your attention was how well she carried herself. An air of confidence about her made you weak in the knees.
All of that preparation to attend a concert on the first row, with me trailing behind her. King Gnu were her group of choice.
King Gnu, the band was known for its unique music. The lead singer Daiki Tsuneda was an average guy, you would have never paid attention to him on the street if you had run into him. But the moment he stepped onto that stage, something about him changed. He oozed confidence and charisma. The crowd was entranced by him. Mina, too.
Mina was dancing to the music, her skirt rising higher with each movement. She was a sight to behold in her sexy outfit, dancing seductively, her body moving to the rhythm of the music. And she was enjoying the show, her eyes were glued to Daiki. She looked at him with a look of pure lust. She was in a trance and she didn't even notice you staring at her.
Daiki during a particular song decided to go down the stage and into the crowd, Mina's eyes widened in anticipation. You felt a sense of jealousy creeping into your heart. He was playing on the edge of the crowd and he looked like he was in a daze, like he was entranced by the crowd. He was looking right at Mina and she was staring at him. You watched in awe as they locked eyes for a moment. You could see the spark of attraction between them.
Mina looked like she was about to melt under his gaze and you felt a pang of jealousy. The song ended and he moved on, but he kept looking at her, even as he was performing for the crowd, you saw his eyes wandering back to her. Mina looked like she was in a trance, her body swaying to the music, her eyes locked on Daiki.
She looked like she was under his spell like he could make her do anything he wanted. The concert ended and Mina clapped enthusiastically. She turned to you and you could see that she was flushed. "That was amazing! Did you enjoy the concert? Oh my god, he is so hot. I am so wet just watching him." She squealed. You felt a pang of jealousy.
"Let's get out of here," she said and took your hand, dragging you towards the exit. You trailed behind her, her hand holding yours tightly. She was in a hurry and you stumbled behind her, trying to catch up. She stopped at a corner and looked around before pulling you into a small alleyway. "I need to feel your cock in my pussy. I am so wet and horny just thinking about Daiki." She said, her voice breathless and husky. She pressed herself against the wall and pulled you towards her. She spread her legs, revealing her wet panties.
" Are you pretending me to fuck you in this filthy and miserable place while you are so wet thinking to that singer?" You questioned.
" Yes, I need it. I need to feel your cock in me. I am so wet. Please baby, I am begging you" She pleaded, her voice cracking. You saw the desperation in her eyes and it made you weak for a second.
" Me fucking you while you are picturing having sex with that singer, won't happen. Never in a million years" You laughed and stepped back.
She looked crestfallen and her face fell. " Don't tell me you don't want me." She said, her voice small.
" Of course I do, you are bloody sexy today. But you need to understand that a no is no, even for someone like you" You said mocking her.
She looked at you for a moment and then she smirked. " Fine, I will go find someone who wants to fuck me. I am so wet for you, but you don't want me. I'll find someone else." She said and turned to walk away.
" Go ahead, you are just bluffing. You wouldn't dare to do that." You laughed and crossed your arms across your chest. She turned around and glared at you.
" Watch me," She said and stormed off. You laughed and followed her, wondering what she would dare to do.
She walked through the crowd, her eyes scanning the faces. You could see her sizing men up and discarding them. She was finicky about her partners, and anything regarding her life. You followed her, amused at the scene. She finally stopped in front of a man and looked him up and down. She smiled and you could see her confidence in full bloom.
" Are you looking for a good time?" She asked him, her voice husky and seductive. The man's eyes widened and he looked her up and down.
" I beg you pardon ma'am. I'm not sure to have understood what you said." He retorted politely. Mina pouted.
" Don't be shy. I want to fuck. Are you in?" She said, her voice confident. The man looked at her in surprise and then nodded.
You had fun enough and it was time to stop her show, you tapped the man on the shoulder. " Sorry, she is busy, my apologies." You said and pulled Mina by the elbow. She struggled to free herself but you were stronger.
" You cannot stop me. I am a grown woman and I can do whatever I want" She said and struggled even more.
" Sure you can, but I'm quite confident you will follow my lead now" You retorted and kept dragging her. You heard the man saying " It's okay, I understand" and Mina let out a frustrated groan.
In a swift motion you lifted her over your shoulder like you would do with a sack of potatoes. She kicked and screamed in a way a child would do but you didn't budge.
You reached the car and opened the door. You set Mina on the backseat and she crossed her arms and legs.
" You are a brute and a jerk, you know that?" She spat out.
" I might have been abrupt but not a brut." You laughed.
" You cannot dictate to me what to do, I am not a child." She pouted.
" I adore you when you act like this" You said.
She glared at you.
" I hate you!" She screamed.
" We both know that's not true." You smiled and kissed her forehead. She looked at you like she wanted to rip your head off.
" I am going to make you regret this!" She threatened.
You laughed and kissed her forehead again. " I am looking forward to it." You said and closed the car door, driving back home. Mina was silent all the drive home, her arms and legs crossed. You could see the anger in her eyes. You could sense her seething, and you were glad about it. It made you feel powerful to see her so angry.
The moment you entered your house, she jumped off the car and ran towards the house, slamming the door shut. You parked the car and entered the house, following the sound of her footsteps. She had locked herself in the bedroom. You knocked on the door and waited.
She opened the door and glared at you. " Leave me alone!" She screamed.
" Are you done throwing your tantrum?" You asked, amused.
She looked at you like she wanted to kill you. " You have no idea how angry I am." She spat out.
You nodded and started to undress and when you had only you boxer on you looked at Mina.
" Take off your clothes." You ordered her.
She glared at you.
" Are you kidding me?" She retorted.
" I am dead serious." You said and she glared at you for a moment before she crossed her arms and legs.
" I won't take off my clothes, you cannot force me." She said, her voice petulant.
" Mina, I can see your nipples through your shirt, you are aroused and you want my cock in you." You said, your voice husky.
" No, I am not." She said, but you could see the blush rising on her cheeks.
" Don't lie Mina, I can see through your lies." You said and walked towards her. She glared at you and she tried to run away from you, but you were quicker and you caught her. You held her against your body, feeling her curves. She struggled to free herself, but you held her tightly.
You lowered your lips to hers and kissed her deeply. You could taste her arousal on her lips. You could feel her heart beating fast against your chest. She struggled for a moment and then she gave in, kissing you back passionately. You could feel your cock throbbing against her body and you knew she could feel it too.
" Still mad Mina?" You asked.
She moaned and you could hear the need in her voice. She was so horny, it made you laugh. You held her against your body and walked towards the bed. You threw her on it and she bounced a bit before looking at you. You undressed her and threw her clothes on the floor. She was left in nothing but her bra and panties. You admired her body, her curves, her skin, everything about her was perfect.
You kneeled in front of her and removed her panties, spreading her legs open. She looked at you with desire in her eyes. You could smell her arousal and you knew she wanted your tongue on her pussy. You teased her for a bit, rubbing your hands on the outside of her pussy, and then you licked her clit. She moaned loudly and you could feel her body shivering under your touch.
You sucked her clit into your mouth, making her moan even louder. You could feel her pussy tightening around your fingers. You knew she was close to cumming. You rubbed her clit with your tongue and you could feel her pussy spasm. She came hard, screaming in pleasure.
You stood up and removed your boxers. Your cock was throbbing with desire. You positioned yourself between her legs and aligned your cock to her entrance.
" Tell what you want me to do" You smirked.
She looked at you with lust in her eyes. " Please, please fuck me!" She begged.
" Where do you want me to fuck you?" You teased.
She looked at you and you could see the frustration in her eyes.
" In my pussy, you stupid brat!" She screamed.
You laughed and entered her slowly, watching her face. She was beautiful in her pleasure. You started fucking her slowly, watching her body move under yours. She was moaning and panting, her legs wrapped around your waist. You fucked her slowly, feeling her pussy tightening around you.
" Harder, please, harder!" She moaned.
You obliged, grabbing her hips in your hand and pounding into her. Her screams of pleasure were loud and clear. You could feel your orgasm approaching. You fucked her harder, feeling her pussy tightening around you even more. She came again, screaming loudly. You felt your orgasm approaching and you came hard, filling her pussy with your cum.
You collapsed on the bed, holding Mina in your arms. She looked at you with a satisfied smile. " I guess I deserved that" She said.
" Yes, you did" You retorted and she pouted.
" Are you still mad?" You asked.
She shook her head. " Not anymore" She said and you kissed her forehead.
" Good, because I am not done with you yet." You said and she smiled. You kissed her deeply.
You rolled her over, made her lying on her stomach. You stood up and positioned yourself in between her legs. She spread them open, her pussy wet and gaping wide for you. You slapped your cock against her ass cheeks and she giggled.
You teased her entrance for a moment and then you shoved yourself inside her. She moaned loudly, arching her back.
You fucked her slowly, watching her ass moving under your thrusts. You could feel her pussy tightening around your cock.
" Harder!" She demanded.
You hold your grip on her ass cheeks and sped up your pace, pounding into her. She screamed in pleasure.
" Take it Mina, good girl." You said.
She moaned and you could feel her pussy spasming. She was close. You fucked her harder, feeling your orgasm approaching.
" Cum for me baby." You demanded.
She did. She screamed loudly, her pussy milking your cock. You came hard, filling her pussy with your cum again.
You pulled out and she turned around looking at you, a smile on her face. You held out your hand and helped her up. She stood in front of you, your cum dripping out of her pussy. She smirked and wiped her pussy with her fingers, tasting it.
You laughed and kissed her. " You are something else, you know that?" You said.
She nodded. " I know. Now, what do you want to do?" She asked, rubbing her hands on your chest.
" Shower first then we will see" You retorted.
She nodded and walked towards the bathroom. You followed her, watching her ass move as she walked. You couldn't help but smack it. She looked over her shoulder and smirked. " Oh, that is how you want to play huh?" She teased.
You grinned and followed her into the bathroom. The water was already running. You entered the shower and grabbed Mina's waist. She leaned against you, her ass pushing against your cock.
" Mina we should shower and then sleep. Tomorrow I want to go to the beach with you" You whispered in her ear softly.
She nodded and turned around looking at you. " Yes, that sounds lovely. Let's shower and then sleep."
You nodded and she started washing your body, her hands rubbing your chest and arms. You smiled and did the same with her body. She giggled and you could feel her body shivering under your touch. You washed her hair and she leaned against your chest, moaning softly. You turned off the water and grabbed two towels. You handed her one and dried yourself with the other.
" It is better if we sleep in my room, the bed sheets in your room are not clean at all." You laughed.
" I know, I made a mess on my bed" She smiled.
You nodded and handed her a T-shirt and a pair of panties. " Here wear these." You said.
She nodded and put them on. You did the same and then you went to your room. She climbed on the bed and you followed her. You held her against your chest and she smiled. " Goodnight baby" She whispered.
" Goodnight Mina" You whispered back and kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes and you watched her fall asleep. You smiled and kissed her forehead again. She was perfect and she was all yours. You had her and she had you. You could feel her heart beating against your chest and you smiled, she was yours. Forever

Nothing more than friends

Pairing: Spencer Reid x gender neutral reader Summary: Faced with his feelings for you, Spencer is caught between confessing or not saying a word, as your presence in his life is something he can't go without Words: 790 Warnings: None
Spencer’s head snapped up as he heard your laughter. His head turned to the way of the kitchen, seeing you hold your hand over your mouth as you tried to control yourself, as well as Penelope wiping a few tears from her eyes and taking a breath to calm herself.
Spencer chuckled at the sight, you were professional yes, but you were also one of the most light hearted people he had ever met. It was hard not to smile whenever he, or anyone, was in your presence and your warmth had an impact on him for the rest of the day. Whenever he was down he knew who to turn to brighten his mood.
As you calmed down from your laughing fit, your eyes met Spencer’s before his glance was back down to his paperwork, trying to make it seem like he wasn’t gawking at you to save his life. He could feel the heat in his cheeks and was hoping they hadn’t turned into a betraying shade of red, he had gotten enough teasing comments from Morgan and if he were to get one more, he was sure to bury himself six feet under due to the embarrassment.
Spencer liked you, more than a coworker and definitely more than a friend, he was aware of that. He would be the dumbest person on Earth if he were to deny it, especially to himself. This wasn’t some fleeting crush he had with Lila Archer for instance, his connection to her was cut as soon as the case regarding her ended and that was that, with you it was different. He saw you nearly every single day, he had opened up to you over the years and it made your connection to each other stronger. It was hard to cut the cord on something so strong.
And that was the problem. Relationships were something that never came easy to both of you, it was one of the things that brought you closer together. You had confided to Spencer about the times you had been mistreated and how it was hard to open up again after every disappointment, he didn’t judge you, he heard you out and comforted you. He saw himself in you, a feeling he didn’t experience very often, and to feel it with you, of all people, only made him fall harder.
“I hope this never changes, what we have.”
The memory of what you said made the smile on his lips fade. Confessing to you was something that always terrified him, but after the night when you had told him those words, opening up about his feelings seemed like a no deal now.
The bond you two shared felt like something that only happened once in a lifetime, if that. Spencer was skeptical over the concept of reincarnation, but he would be lying if he were to say that he didn’t think about you and him meeting in a past life late at night when he wasn’t able to sleep.
He weighed the pros and cons of the situation seemingly every day. He was so consumed by it that Hotch himself had noticed the decline of the quality of Spencer’s work. He asked Spencer if he needed help, which he declined, and seeing his superior walk back to his office, he knew he was in hot water. You had consumed every part of his mind that it was just as the words Emily once said.
“Just like that, an IQ of 187 is slashed to 60.”
You made Spencer feel dumb and he couldn’t be happier. He was constantly at war with himself in his mind, some say the knowledge someone like him holds is a gift, a miracle even, but you don’t have to be a genius to know that knowing more isn’t always better. It was more of a curse than a blessing and whenever he was with you, he felt relief. With you he didn’t have to be the smartest person in the room, he didn’t have to be the guy who always had the answers, with you he could be just Spencer, the kind hearted man who would make your day with his magic tricks.
That is why he had stayed quiet for so long. What he had with you was one of the most precious things in his life, it was something far too great to risk, so he stayed silent. He sat at his desk, quietly stealing glances at you to get through the day, seeing if he could catch a glimpse of your smile so he could smile as well, but through all of that, he was dying on the inside, slowly but surely, with the words he hadn’t said.
