The trailer had quite the focus on new hairstyles, but our main squid is sporting classic 3s for some reason. They also made it a big selling point to "put your sparkle on!" -- the squid's tentacles are as shiny as the ink you have in Sploon2's hero mode.

A lot of the tutorial/trailer text shows salmonid icons. Granted, theyre...salmonid with rocking hairstyles and different colors (not just green and grey.)

The character finally turns around tk sjow us her face and...

She doesnt exactlt have an eyemask. She has bags under her eyes and her ears and top half of her face are darkened (similarly to how I color in my inkfish). Smile a set a SHARP teeth.

Jumpcut to where this...creatura is going. She was at first in a warm canyon of sorts, but it transitions to a cold area. Gives Alterna vibes. Except its completely revamped and the vibe is now one of Las Vegas with all the shining lights and rides and shit. Festive (like. Anarchy rainbow almost) plays everywhere. Hell, Frye's in here too! With a new hairstyle and clothes. I cant remember much of that....

Trailer moves to show the maps. A lot of it is in this cold environment. As if...as if the world has frozen over, instead of warminh up. And everyone had bundled up for warmth. "The world is ending but its bc its an ice age" and yet the damn inkfish (?) Were sporting military style gear.

There was also a lot of Octarian tech in the maps (moving floating platforms, octotroopers moving around the background or ARE the moving platforms...think that toaster boss), and there are salmomid also just vibing in places.

The story mode is hinting at the mysteries of the flooze and humanity.

And...Whys this majorly Octarian nation freezjng over? Is it bc they dont have a zapfish again? No, not really. Theyre starting out with a new energy source that they discovered while digging around human ruins: geothermal power.

They havent mastered it yet. Not at all. But its better than begging Inkadia for help

Oh, and. The Flooze.

The trailer implies quite heavily that this is a new Alterna, or an Octarian + Salmonid majority living in Alterna. And the new creatura in the trailer is a salmonid who gained humanoid form bc she touched the flooze.

Then the logo of tbe game, yadda yadda.

The dream also had a lot of pro players analyzing the maps. Bc moving platforms on maps arent that common a sight, from what I know. Like, platforms thar move on their own and not pushed by players (like the ones in Lemuria hub, or Wahoo, etc)

interesting question!! so wolves dont naturally live in jungles, but indian wolves are probably your best bet for reference. they look pretty different from typical wolves

this is cuz they lack the big heavy fur coat that wolves normally have due to the warmer temperatures in their environment. wolves fur isnt really built for humid heat and theyre not skilled at hunting through heavy tree coverage, so if they did live in jungles theyd be on the edges or thinner areas probably. good luck writing!

OK SO my main idea for the story was that parker and chester were an engineer (chester) and stellar cartographer/some type of physicist possibly (parker) working in starfleet. (originally they were both gonna be from the same department but i thought it would make more sense for one of them to be an engineer in this au. i needed parker to be a blue shirt specifically so people would mistake him for a medical officer when really hes just The Stars Guy and we could have a scene like "you dont need a piece of paper to help people chester" sifjfjcj)

basically, its kind of a situation like the episode of tng where they have to go into a wormhole for Plot Reasons, but it turns out that one end of the wormhole is Unstable and they get STUCK super super far out of federation space in a tiny little shuttlecraft (well, the ferengi get stuck in that episode bc the humans have plot armour lmao)

basically the au would follow parker and chester as they try to get back to federation space, but parker is A Good Person so he keeps taking the shuttle off-course to answer distress calls to see if he can help. also occasionally they land on space-faring civilisations' planets just to like,,stock up on amenities or get some diversity in their environments so they dont go insane

every time they land on a planet, they end up in some crazy situation because theyre extremely unlucky. the lil drawings above are of two ideas i had (one of which is obviously the most recent luxurydark video but Aliems n with more of my storytelling style). i think the one with the romulan would be more like the life of luxury video where they were investigating the older brother who was neglecting his siblings? except they would be landing to try to answer the distress call of a crashed romulan ship with only one or two survivors and end up staying down there for multiple days to try to help

assigning marvel heroes engineering majors (1)

i tried to write this so it makes sense even if you don't know much about engineering!! this post has my headcanons for peter parker, steve rogers, tony stark, and clint barton!!

as a preface, i am very aware that most of the marvel heroes would not in fact be in school for engineering even in an alternate universe. unfortunately, my fixation on both superheroes and engineering knows no bounds.

please feel free to ask me any questions about eng or for further explanation my reasons for these picks!! i am only in one type of eng but know many people in other disciplines so hopefully i'll be able to answer :)))

Peter Parker - Mechanical & Biomedical

I truly, truly believe the correct peter parker engineering take depends on what portrayal of spiderman you are looking at. like tobey's spiderman? would not touch biomed with a pole let alone mech. ... that peter parker is so far from engineer...... i dont even know where i would put him. materials? pls send your opinions if you have them.

BUT MCU, tom holland, spiderman would definitely definitely be in mechanical & biomedical. i actually got this from an irl friend, so if you see this somehow pls say hi LMAO

mechanical is one of the most common streams of eng and, while absolutely not something i ever want to touch, is really neat. it centers around keeping things in motion (contrary to civil engineering where if something is moving you're in trouble). it applies physics in really cool ways which i imagine would be a draw to peter just on the sole basis of personal interest. mech also plays with materials as it explores elasticity, deformation, fractures, yield strength, and other materials things i have blocked out LOL. when i think of that aspect i feel like it matches really well with the designed suit, the webs, and, if you listen to the science jargon he throws around in the movies, some of his prior knowledge.

biomedical engineering is actually used by some (the insane) as a gateway into med school. it covers human anatomy and genetic engineering (radioactive spider????). i do not believe peter would do med school too (because that student debt tho) but i also can't imagine him not trying to apply what he learns to helping others. i am personally partial to applying engineering principles to physiology and i can just imagine him implementing his mechanical knowledge into making prosthetics. if i had the brain power for this degree i would love to do that.

Steve Rogers - Civil Engineering

.... listen. steve rogers would fight a war before sitting in an hour lecture about dirt. i know this and acknowledge this wholeheartedly. HOWEVER,,,, I have a friend in civil with a special interest on sustainable design and you cannot, cannot tell me that isn't steven rogers coded.

civil engineering is not architecture, like at all, which i think is a common misconception if you don't know engineering well ( totally understandable!) unfortunately, i don't think civil caters to his artistic side that well but as someone who likes art but only does it as a hobby next to eng, i think thats okay.

civil engineering is kind of the mother to environmental engineering in the sense that they both look into wastewater treatments, geology, and even environmental planning (in some cases) but civil will also go into more detail with structural components and design of buildings. you'll find civil engineers involved in every building being made and in every town council ensuring clean drinking water and working sewage systems. typically they specialize into one or the other but shhhh ignore that for this post.

what i am trying to say here is that this would give steve a shit ton of wiggle room which i think he would use to help both the environment and people. paying engineers is expensiveeee especially for qualified, capable ones. i think steve would find deep satisfaction in working either for free or for the bare minimum cost (not that you should - know your worth :) ) and i think that he would actively use his work to call out designs that endanger communities or their environments.

this man knows his local engineering ethics code and WILL call someone out.

Tony Stark - Engineering Physics

when i started writing this section i thought it was going to be the easiest but unfortunately i did in fact have to phone a friend. tony stark is THE engineer so narrowing him down to one discipline felt impossible. my friend suggested engineering physics so i went with that.

the thing is eng phys is THE engineering degree. it is wonderful because you look at almost every thing mech, elec, and comp related (will explain more below) without specializing too greatly. it is also difficult because you don't specialize. for tony stark, who did not have to go into that internship grindset mentality, it would all be net positives.

to make the suit i immediately knew tony needed to have an extremely good knowledge on BOTH electrical (circuitry, coding, wires, magnetism, fun stuff) and mechanical (explained in peter's section!!). i was considering a double major but then was stumped because i love my elec and mech friends but they have no desire to produce a new element and also... creating an arc reactor??? plus AI's??? while likely related to software, it he would have bare minimum had to have had a good computer engineering (kind of how it sounds, engineering related to building and using computers and components of computers, lots of overlap w/ elec) background.

to wield the amount of science knowledge tony stark has an be able to apply it in an engineering context he would either have to be a genius (which like canonically he is so yknow) or take every course offered to engphys students (and some).

i think as a student he would have also enjoyed that not having to specify aspect. i imagine him always in the pursuit of knowledge. yay eng physics!!!

Clint Barton - Materials Engineering

If you've read the reasonings for some of the characters above you have likely thought to yourself "wow, such clear arguments, time must have been put into this" which like yes but also no because for this decision i am going exclusively on vibes.

materials focuses on, well, materials. it looks at both composition and properties (plus how composition effects properties). my friends in matls tell me its pretty research heavy which doesn't really fit with clint, i am aware. but every person i have met from this faculty i am convinced would get along with him.

I KNOW THIS ISN'T GREAT REASONING. i think that engineering would always be second to other things or interests in his life (even when he's a student) but I think the promise of a stable job and the hypothetical applications are really interesting. matls and mech can be surprisingly similar and i think he would find more satisfaction in manipulating materials to better fit his goals than in being stuck within predefined constraints.

plus, imagine creating a new material for like the tensile strength of your bow. incredibly cool

I'm thinking i'll work on doing more of these as i find the time!! i definitely have a few ideas for other characters, i just need to figure out how to articulate my reasonings haha.

It makes me really happy&??&?? 😭😭❤️Hmmm for the clothing design honestly I mess around, I throw my personal likings, tastes and aesthetics into them along with headcanons (for Jeff's long coat for example, it just fitted his environement and I also like this type of clothing very much jkhgf I also take into account what the character would wear obv) and here we goo, one should not only stick to one clothes design I believe, play dress up it's fun!!

For the feature part I go with personality/nationality/hcs/lore and play around that! Ness for example reminds me a lot of my friend, so I base him on that :3c now I could explain how I chose that kind of things for everyone but is it that interesting? kjhgfd (dont let me yap omg I need to stop-)

I try so hard to avoid same-face syndrome, giving different faces and features to as many different characters I can, it's very fun to mess around with that! For the twins I obviously HAVE to do a same-face syndrome but even with that.. I feel like they look too different???? Maybe I'm tripping,, but yeah the purpose was that once you portray characters that looks like each others for it to be striking just like in real life!

I'm going to be frl I do not know how I got there LMAO it changed drastically once I got my new computer, new program and had to change my tactic, again, I just represent what I like, usually in the colors, I LOOOVE brown, my favorite color, so thats why my art might look orange-brownish and I love retro/vintage feeling so I overpixelate that shiz etc etc, I also take inspiration from artists I like, I analyse how they draw certain stuff, what I like about it and unconsciously steal it kjhgfd I'm SO happy people like my artstyle sm aah its just me-core frl 🥺🥺 I hope you achieve an artyle that speaks to you!! frankly, i think your point about "some people train their own AI art models" is inherently flawed because rhe vast majority of people are not training their own model. they are paying for a service which was trained on art that was taken from the internet and used without permission in order for a machine to try snd recreate something similar bit by bit. i havent gotten a commission from someone who isnt a friend of mine in well over a year because people are just choosing to generate art with AI. i dont think AI art isnt "real" art because yeah, i agree with you, the whole idea of real art or not is complex. however, it is an undeniable reality that AI is trained on the work of artists all over the world who do not even get asked for permission before a tech company makes money off of their hard work.

I agree it’s a small, small portion of people making their own models that ensure that all art involved is used with consent. Many people buy a subscription or credits to generate what they want. Most people probably use free credits on Discord to make a meme or anime girls. Many people use it many different ways, yes.

I’m sorry you’ve lost a client over it. I know commissions are hard. Freelancers without dedicated clients would be the ones to suffer most from the popularity of AI art. I can’t say I’ve felt the impact myself, since it’s also very popular to be anti-AI.

Actively searching through job boards, I also feel like it has barely affected those listings. Maybe one of like 300 art jobs in the USA/Sweden asked for AI experience (Prompt Artist), and it was an AI startup. The “normal” art jobs like UI/UX, Environments, Materials, Concept, Technical, Animator, etc all still asking for 3 years experience for entry level lmao. Saw an intern position that required an “industry-standard” portfolio. So still a pain as it was before advanced AI gen.

Many paid AI art services have takedown options for their training sets and can block names from being prompted. If you were a popular enough artist to be in a training set, you can remove it and block the majority of AI art users from copying you—like you said, a majority of people use these services instead of self-hosting.

(Sending DMCA takedown requests are actually pretty easy. I had to send one to an old teacher who reposted my art and a bunch of classmates’ art on her ArtStation. that was funny lol)

I’m not sure how I felt when I went to search up my art on haveibeentrained. Because I’m a nerd, I’d preemptively blocked scrapers on my portfolio, so nothing was there when I looked. Searched up my legal name, my old Twitter (which had some popular pieces), my old DeviantArt usernames. Nothing there, either. I was probably pruned from the set for being low-quality. Kinda funny, I thought I’d be good enough to include at least once. Maybe next time.

.safetensors / .ckpt files (which are the models Stable Diffusion runs) have no image data in them, by the way. It is all math and numbers in there. There is no way of telling what was included in the training set, unless the dev(s) that made the model release it publicly. The models themselves are usually around 3–6 GB, though there’s larger ones and mini ones.

Like my own silly brain, there’s no way of tracking down the exact art pieces the software was referencing off of when it generates something. Am I making money off of another artist’s hard work when I remember how to draw heads from a Proko video? Am I ripping off photographers when I recall their pictures when drawing my characters? I’m not a tech company, but I still make money off of the things I copy and filter through my mind and hand.

I’m rambling at this point, sorry. Of course, the core issue is capitalism. How different would people see this medium if money were not an issue? How futuristic, how exciting it is to visualize something from words alone. It’s that art machine I’d always wanted as a kid, where I think of something and it pops out on the page finished.

I think it is worth to uplift those who use the medium as ethically as they can, as @are-we-art-yet is doing—having a do-not-use artist list, avoiding corporations, don’t try to undercut traditional artists. Like with any medium, there’s a variety of artists. Some are nice and do their best to have a good impact, some don’t care at all about the ethics of their art.

I’m still pretty firmly a “traditional” artist. I won’t stop drawing or give up because of AI. I play with AI on my own hardware and power for fun and for getting ideas (is that stealing?). It’s mostly replaced scrolling through Pinterest for me, but I still save people’s art and photos that I like in my computer, so I can look at em later, maybe get inspired. And steal like an artist, I guess.

ramblin about shit

as bittersweet as it is to say i don’t think id ever want to return to making sas/smn, or at least not the way i was doing it back in 2017.

i was, as you all know, an extremely extremely lonely kid with a shit home life. posting my art on tumblr was my Only outlet, and i threw myself into it as hard as you’d expect. i stuck with sas way longer than id ever done with other art projects because of that, especially without any breaks and that was utterly miserable. it contributed to multiple severe burnouts!!

when i’m Not dangerously starved of positive attention i prefer to draw whatever stuff takes my interest and flip between different projects as the urge hits. along with that i love to experiment with my art, learning new techniques and styles and workflows… drawing the same thing in the same way over and over again with no break gives me hives now, and i actually have adhd medication!! like dont get me wrong, working on sas was amazing and there is very little about that experience i would change, but my god i did not know how badly it burnt me out at the time. shit was miserable— and my dumb little alexithymic ass didn’t even understand why 😭

but i felt like i Had to keep at it, because the attention i was getting out of posting it online was, as i said, my only outlet. people liked sas, and posting other stuff didn’t get me the attention i needed, so… that was it. my relationship with Gaining Fandom Popularity was nottttt healthy lmao but what can you do

i’m happy to say now that i’m in a way better place, both mentally and Literally, and have the freedom to just kinda fuck around and do whatever for my personal art. not having a (self imposed!!!) timer for when i have to Get The Content Out has improved my relationship with making art AND my understanding of what i need as a creative

but that exact lack of structure that i Need to not go completely insane (fucking around style wise, taking six month breaks from projects to goof off on other shit, etc) is kind of antithetical to The Webcomic Environment. its almost antithetical to the Me Finishing A Single Gotdam Thing environment but i prommy i make it work lmao

but yeah. all that 2 say. even though i am currently having a Penn Moment and regaining my love for fo4, i shrimply do not think sas is gonna come back the way it once was. if anything id draw all of it in private and post everything at once after it’s done, but i dont really feel the urge at the moment. im just havin fun, bein goofy, etc.

You two meet at a coffee shop. It's a lazy afternoon, you're taking your time at a table in the corner with your drink and pastry of choice. But the main reason you're there is to draw — you decide to practice in a different environment, so observational drawing it is. It's been a while since you arrived, you've sketched a few faces of people passing by, objects, the refractions of light coming in through the window.

Your eyes search around for the next subject and then you see her — the woman who just sat down with a cup of tea and a piece of cake. She's got a little smile on as the guy by her side mutters a string of complaints about how this soggy atrocity can't even be called a real croissant. You draw them both for a while, but you really fixate on her; the myriad gestures and strong expressions she replies to him with are so interesting to try and replicate. And she's very cute.

You're so immersed in drawing her, you're caught by surprise when you lift your eyes from the sketch and she's looking back at you with a smile. Caught red-handed!

She approaches you, typing something in her phone, and when she shows you the screen she wants to see the drawings. She lights up with the sketch page and starts typing a string of compliments on her phone (you're already smiling too, at that point). She then asks for your pen to scribble something in the corner. Her friend then calls her and she waves goodbye and you know that cute smile will stay in your head forever.

When you look back at the sketch, you see she wrote down her name — KIMIKO, in block letters — and her number.

Your first text to her is a picture of the drawings — a sketch page filled with her various expressions. Crude sketches, gesture drawing and facial expressions practice mostly, but in her replies she's amazed. She asks to see more of your art and you send her the link to your blog!!

And that, my friend, is how Kimiko becomes your No. 1 fan

You two start chatting a lot, like, A LOT (you don't know this from your side of the conversation, but Frenchie sees her giggling at the screen and asks what is it, and Butcher is constantly telling her to put down the goddamn phone. Kimiko finds out she really likes texting)

You spend a wonderful day listening to live music, tasting good food, looking at the vendors and chatting. Kimiko might be non-verbal but those fingers can TYPE — she's incredibly lively, with a wide smile, and to be fair she's the one that does most of the "talking" in the conversation.

Also because she feels so comfortable with you, and how you navigate the conversation. You never make her feel like she's slowing things down by typing or seem less interested in what she has to say.

Frenchie tells her all the time to make a move and invite you to another one. He thought you seemed nice (saw you once) and already shipped you both (read a single text). But he sees how Kimiko acts when texting you and talking to you — C'est l'amour, mon coeur, need I say more?

You go on a series of dates after that, each one more explicitly romantic than the previous one, until your connection eases into a relationship without you even noticing. It's just so natural to be with her.

The word "girlfriend" is first used, though, when Kimiko introduces you to THE BOYS. Not gonna lie, I was torn between M.M. and Kimiko for the ship, but the more I thought about it the more I liked your friendship.

You get to know him when Kimiko introduces him to The Boys, but he already knew about you — all of them did — just by how much she texted you. All the time.

And when he meets you, he's so pleasantly surprised by how much of a good influence you are — not that he thought ill of you, it's just that in that world they've all learned to suspect anyone.

But M.M. vibes with you from the start: your level-headedness and drive don't manifest through coldness, but rather are something that he can connect with. You're as logical and practical as him.

Also I imagine your work as a psychologist gives you a mental tool set to de-escalate conflict, ground people, and get to the root of the problem, that he really appreciates. As the member of the team that's trying to keep them together and do the right thing, you're someone M.M. would love to have by his side.

You're not officially a part of The Boys, but M.M. soon starts going to you as a sort of advisor and friend — sometimes he needs someone to remind him of the right path to take, or simply a friendly shoulder to hear about all the shit he has to put up with because of these guys.

(Also, since the show implies Janine might also have OCD, or is dealing with anger issues in general, he absolutely goes to you for advice)

But enough about your profession, he also gets book recommendations from you (who wouldn't, you're so cool).

Do you have any headcannons or cute stories of the Poison Eaterz turtle tots? Did Huggin and Munnin babysit them?

I'm just thinking it might be nice to think about that when the rest of the story inevitably breaks me.

They LOVED pretending to be pokemon trainers!!! "Draxum naming them after colors is so impersonal those aren't real names yada yada" respectfully I direct you towards little Purple, Orange and Red walking around the hidden city with toy pokeballs and pretending everyone they meet is a pokemon. Absolute nuisances from day one. And you KNOW that Red was super smug about being the only one with a canon trainer name, no way in hell he didn't constantly point at the manga pages and go "ME, im the best trainer!"

Mikey figured out he was gay at like 5 yrs old because Draxum (also gay) was watching his yokai soap operas and Mikey wandered in. Not much of an event or story but it firmly happened in my mind lmao

I think during their infancy and into their early toddler stages, Draxum still didn't recognize that they were developing like human children and saw them as soldiers/weapons. So when Draxum was out he kept the infant turtles in cages like the other exotic creatures, but when they reached toddler stage and started having behavioral issues, Draxum tried to change up their environment. Started letting them wander the lab, immediately had to childproof all the outlets when Leo grabbed a fork, and from there Draxum started taking them with him to learn about the outside world/hidden city. He had them with him most of the time to see how they reacted to different situations/environments. Once he finally realized they were more like human children than yokai children, that's when he left them with Huginn and Muninn more often. So.... short answer.... yes they eventually babysat the turtles dhssjbd 😂

I also have the story of when they started calling their trio the Poison Eaterz but i haven't decided if that's gonna make it into the fic yet so for now i keep it secret

hi! How’s it going?

This is a good opportunity to explain why I haven't been posting art dont read any of it if u dont want to it's more for me

Aside from normal academic stuff it's mostly because my school's literary magazine is allowing submissions and I really want to get my art in it (you're a published artist/author if you get in it)

Thing is last year I didn't get my art in it (I made a self portrait titled 'hearts' that I stupidly never took a picture of because I never got it back) but they had too many art submissions and not enough literary submissions so most of the art got cut from the magazine

So I think you can tell that I was pissy bc I really need to get my art in this thing

So now I have been focusing a lot on my submission because I'm writing something with it, it's gonna look like a children's picture book with multiple drawings and a story

I might post it here if it doesn't end up being too personal but prob not

It's taking me a while because one i want it to look good and two i want it to look painted and that isn't my normal style and three because I am not a writer

Another reason as to why I'm not posting is because I'm looking for jobs because ur girl does not have money and that's something I wanna prioritize

And the last reason is less fun and something that I genuinely need to type out and admit in writing is that my parents are absolute batshit crazy and I want nothing more than to complete my high school credits and leave my home town

My sister didn't mind leaving like I want to in fact she wanted to get as far away from us (specifically my dad) as possible but she has no problem having me with her and husband because they've somewhat settled down

She's traveled the world and she's pretty cool, she's at a very prestigious university, she went to Thailand in high school, she's been to Jordan, Lebanon, and a couple years ago she went to Palestine for a year and became a high school teacher there she's awesome

It would be amazing to go to college where she is (i'm in a position financially and academically where going out of state for college is very possible ESPECIALLY where she is) and also to get to know her husband more would be great cause we barely got to know each other when he was here

My brother on the other hand didn't want to leave our mom but really needed to get out of the house because of our dad so now he's in this really awkward position where he lives in an apartment literally a 15 minutes walk from our house and by extension his very comfortable bedroom, and also he comes home every night to see our mom

It absolutely sucks and I very much want to leave my home even though I say what my parents want me to say I'll do after high school when I'm around them

My dad is demented and I have no problem admitting that he's never abused me physically but he has verbally quite a few times and hinted at physical abuse and it gets to me a lot

mostly it's about academics which he is quite literally insane for thinking I don't do well academically

There's a lot of stuff with him that's god awful and i wont get into it because that's what I do in a therapeutic environment which I cant get without being gaslit by my family so yeah

I can't draw anything except what I have to with all this it's a lot to be thinking about because I'm still just a kid and idk i can't handle it maturely so I have to write about it on tumblr lmao

i dont think his new art style is bad! i do LOVE the fight scenes im just a bit iffy with the people drawings - not necessarily my boat to float.

but i do understand that Gege is aiming to finish the manga this year - which, whether thats his personal preference, or if hes sick of being stuck in that environment or if hes being pressured by them we wont really know.

admittedly ive not really read past 235.. preserving my mental health n alla that - i just see panels here and there and get the general gist of the story. i’d like to know what happened in 252? so im not just accidentally shitting on gege without context 😭

that’s fair!!!! i think it’s a really good thing that you aren’t forcing yourself to read the manga 😭 BUT i will say that the battle right after 236 is one of my favorites in the series so!!! yk. something to look forward to :3 (tbf i was especially into it bc i love takaba and kenny lmao but i still think you’ll find it fun!! you can tell akutami was having a blast)

anyway !! 252 was a really stunning chapter but about halfway through a few panels looked like this:

…. which is just . really really …. sad ? imo?? like they aren’t even giving him time to finish the chapters properly. in the author’s note for the chapter akutami also said he got a callus on his thumb from drawing so much. which is part of why i think it’s really messed up to complain abt the breaks he takes now and then…. complaining abt the art style and stuff is obv fine but i genuinely think some people forget that akutami is a person and that a person’s creative work is directly affected by their mental and physical health 😭😭
