i hate the fact that so much of the harry potter fandom on tumblr is dead or else insanely fucking wrong about everything. like. i wanna rant about absurd canon things to people. but i don't want to interact with the parts of the fandom that are unbearable because they butcher canon and all characters past all recognition or endurance

#and i don't want to attract the masses because everyone is anti-jkr vitriol #and yeah i get it #it's terrible #but #i still love this fucking series and i always will #regardless of what jkr does or says #and i just want there to be able to talk about my love for this series and these characters online without having people getting mad #also #i just genuinely cannot stand like 90% of the fandom these days #they learned the books on tiktok and never bothered to actually read the #*them #and don't even get me started on the wolfstar portion of the fandom #(which is utterly unavoidable and so insanely fucking wrong about just about everything)#ugh #someone please engage with my meta posts. i want conversation (not toxic Discourse™)
