#allow me to be VERY petty about something please#i am very happy for michael sheen and his career and the fact that he's now written a children's book#i wish him nothing but the best and i kinda want to get his book as well#(also the illustrations are so cute i need to find out who made them)#and i do not question his writing skills and his ability to apeal to children#like... AT ALL!#but in general i have strong feelings about this fad of celebrities writing children's books#because regardless if the book is amazing or shit they will get publishing deals because they're famous#and because they can put their name on the cover#this says nothing about the celebrities skills or talent btw#but this says a lot about the publishing world...#and as someone who wrote and illustrated a kid's book and is struggling massively to get it published...#i am annoyed a little bit#once again i fucking love sheeny so this is nothing against him#it just sparked my hate again when i saw the announcement because now it has struck even closer to home lol#ok i'm done being petty and envious lol#(pls i mean this respectfully. nobody come for me#let me be petty in peace)#angel talks#personal
