Not going to lie, the more I look into this booktok discourse, the more I'm glad I never downloaded TikTok.
#i stand with alex and felicia wennberg#this will probably be the last time i speak on this subject because its genuinely starting to burn me out#i really do not like getting involved into discourse but tbh this sort of mess is something that needs to be talked about#and for the record i have nothing against people who use tiktok in general#however i will say i will never forgive hockey booktok for starting this discourse at all#and i do hope this doesn't become rpf discourse because the hockey romance novels on tiktok probably shouldnt even count as rpf#especially considering a lot of them seem to break the “fiction” rule in real person fiction (especially that one lady's fics/writing)#that said: to the hockey rpf writers that *are* respectful of peoples boundries (which most of them here are)#fuck yeah you fuckers keep creating i love you so so much (platonically)#and rpf in general isnt even my cup of tea half the time (though i do read hockey rpf because ngl there is some good shit)
