got into a new book series which is terrible news for my bank account but wonderful news for the hyperfixation section of my brain
#op#i bought the first book a while ago and finally read it and i was gonna get the next in the series at the library but it was checked out#and i didn’t wanna wait 😭 so i went to the bookstore#i either obsess over things the way i do with fob and wwe or i just really focus on something until i’m done with it#and i haven’t had anything like the latter for a while. so it’s nice to have something to be into that isn’t like special interest level#just a more casual fixation. if that makes sense

volume 2 babeyyy!!!!! i’ve decided to move this to every other monday so it gives me more time to actually do things (if you haven’t picked up on it, i have the attention span of a dead gnat and don’t often have the desire to do anything except pace around my living room and daydream 😭) the last 2 weeks have been pretty busy for me so unfortunately this one’s gonna be real short.
nothing interesting in the anime category this time 😔 my sister and i decided on a system where we put everything we wanna watch on a playlist and watch 2 episodes of one, watch 2 of the next show on the playlist, so on and so forth and just repeat the process til with finish the playlist (which is a whole 4 days long 💀). my peanut brain can’t focus on the same thing for too long so it worked out pretty well for us,,, until our dad decided to haul my sister all the way across the country on a 3 week camping trip. she won’t be back til the 11th so i gotta wait til she gets home to pick things back up 🥲
aside from that i have not watched anything else cuz i don’t have the patience!!!!
I read the first 3 volumes and what the hell 😭 it’s pretty good so far but holy shit it is WILD. The plot itself is weird as hell ngl, but it’s otherwise pretty enjoyable. Don’t really care for the romance aspect, but I love how insane the yokai designs are and sheer amount of crustacean themed creatures. I’ll def read more since Nessie was just coming in where i left off. Will also def watch the anime cuz i wanna see what they do with the crazy ass fight scenes between the aliens and yokai.
I went to the bookstore the other day and got new physical books :3 one of them was Dorohedoro, which i’ve been wanted to read for a long while now so i think i will read this soon
I really wanna read this one soon. That is all
I got this game the other day and HOLY SHIT???? The jet set radio inspiration has me on my KNEES. Jet set radio is my favorite game and THIS FUCKING GAME IS COMING FOR ITS PLACE IN MY HEART. IT IS SO FUN OMG
Hopefully this’ll be longer next time! Didn’t have much motivation to do this today :P
