| hello! my first post on tumblr. inspired by frank oceans song nature feels. but also like… kind of not. idunno!! minors please dni (18+)

Spencer Reid was an endlessly curious man. It generally didn’t matter what the subject was, he already knew about, and could be classified as an expert in the field.

He like to think of himself as a specialist in all things mathematics, chemistry, engineering, and you. At times like these, that last one became more of a weakness than a strength.

Sitting on the plane home, returning from an exhausting case, hearing the bass line from Derek’s headphones and the muffled sounds of Rossi and Hotch discussing something that could be anywhere from the case to his latest interaction with wife number nth, Spencer Reid couldn’t stop thinking about sleeping with you. You hid in the buzz of the engine, the smell of coffee leaking out of the jet’s small kitchen, taking him to the four walls of your shared apartment, where the smell was omnipresent.

Many people might compare you to a warm summers day, but he found that misrepresentative. You were much more comparable to a snowy christmas evening. It’s the time of year that everyone looks forward to, cookies and cakes and freshly cooked meals, things that were constantly filling your kitchen, love leaking from their extra chocolate chips. All year round, when christmas music plays, people are filled with joy and cheer, and he thinks this phenomenon is not unlike to that of your sounds, and when his memory so unhelpfully brings those to the forefront of his mind, he is filled with that same joy.

The familiar bump of the jets landing cut this train of thought, and as the team filed back to quantico, Spencer had never been more grateful for two things:

1. the fbi’s access to efficient travel - he thinks that if he was forced to sit in the metro waiting, the personification of himeros that was sitting eagerly in his heart ( and other parts of him that he was careful not to pay attention to at this time ) would grab him by the shoulders and force him under the need that he was drowning in.

2. the invention of internet and online communication - the influx of texts from that had ceased to deliver while he was in the sky all flooded in at once, giving him the idea that this missing business was not one sided.

It was in moments like these, when people showed even the slightest romantic fondness for him, that he was taken back to his bumbling college experiences with sex. A word that people danced around, but he researched thoroughly. Not for perverse reasons, as this form of interest in the female anatomy would hit him a bit later in life, but pure curiosity. Why did people enjoy? He could understand what the appeal was for men, but what made the experience enjoyable for the other sex?

These questions still plagued him to this day, even after extensive practical elements were added to his studies, with you being a very supportive test subject. Spencer explored what it was like to feel, and to find meaning through this thing that had become so, even though it sounds silly to say, sexualised in media, and to move past the physical elements (but he still appreciated those, greatly) and to find what philosophers spent eons theorising over, which the two of you seemed to have found so easily. Connection.

In the many nights he had spent tangled in your embrace, Spencer mused thoughts of the origins of humans, and as the quiet hymns of the night sung, he worshipped Apollo for having mercy on the split humans and reconstituting their forms, allowing them to find this physical bond, and their souls other half.

As the elevator at quantico rose to the BAU’s floor, the team had a quiet understanding amongst them that small talk was not necessary, and that conversations of weekend plans were trivial in comparison to the things the victims had been through.

After finishing up the, for lack of better words, ginormous pile of paperwork, Spencer was finally free to follow the light of your twin flame home. As he sits in the metro though, he is brought back to the disdain he holds for the public transportation system, and the distain for every passenger that gets of on a stop before his, slowing his journey. He wishes that access to the fbi’s vehicles was available off the clock, for boyfriends whose need for their girlfriends was eating them alive. How inconsiderate of them.

When the autonomic voice announced the station where you resided, so close yet so far, Spencer jumped out of his seat, himeros once again took control of his body, willing his muscles all the way home.

As the loved in door to your home creaked open, Spencer was guided by the candlelight and warm lamps through to the back garden, where the leaves and flowers of the cherry trees spread through the garden fall gracefully and surround a figure, who is gently swing back and forth on a tree swing. Spencer sees you, and wonders what if this is what Adam thought when he first saw Eve, and if he too felt so compelled to caress the slopes of her neck and pray at her divine altar.

The leaves under Spencer’s converse crunched, and alerted you to his presence. As you turned around, there was barely a split second before Spencer was on you, burrowing his face in the crook of your neck with his arms planted firmly around your waist.

“hi spence”, you whispered quietly into his hair, the glasses on the bridge of his nose digging into the skin of your neck. he began to plant soft kisses there, to exhausted to formulate a response. You nudged his chin with your shoulder, and his lips landed softly on yours, gentle kisses explaining things that words do no justice to.

As the night air became more humid around you, and fireflies surrounded the two of you, Spencer’s warm hands pushed the ankle length hem of your spring dress up your thighs, closer to your core. He kisses a pathway up your calf, up your thigh, towards the need in your centre, and ponders if god had made you for him.

Spencer thinks that he is fairly devoted to a number of things, like his work, or his academia, but the way he eats you out is oh so blasphemous. He circles and flicks and plunges just right, and as the cherry flowers fall in his hair, he looks like a debauched angel, with a sole mission of making you come on his tongue. he is devoted to it, and it’s his mission.

The way that you moan his name and pulse around his fingers turns him on more than things that are seen as generally sexually conductive for the male gender, and as you pull his roots and tighten your thighs around his head, he feels the satisfaction of your pleasure travel all the way to his climax, without being touched. Truly sinful Spencer Reid, truly Sinful.

As his mouth separates from your divinity, he thinks that the string of saliva that connects you is symbolic of every single thing that connects your physical elements to the emotional unison that you share. As the dirt digs into Spencer’s knees, and the thighs around his head loosen with satisfaction, He can’t help but compare you to the delicate cherry blossoms, and he sees your kindness and ineffable gentleness bloom around the garden.

You stand, and pull Spencer to his feet, and as he pushes you against the bark of the cherry tree, ready to connect again, just as Apollo and Adam and Eve and whoever else he had to thank for this intended, he can’t wait to feel your nature, to make love.

His tone is soft, well as soft as Yusuke can muster it to be in the moment. He knew that life was a constant flow and honestly a growth for everyone. But he also knew the feeling of being hung up and stuck.

If he hadn't had the group he knew for a fact that he would have been stuck under Madarame for his life. And even if all this had happened; if he hadn't joined the team and had them to keep him chugging along; mission to mission.

He'd have been just as hung up and stuck on his life before the phantom thieves had come into his life. Before his friends had brought the good and the bad to his life.

A soft sigh leaves Yusuke's lips now, but he does smile at the news of the other's studies going well. That certainly sounded like his determined friend; he knew that resilience was going to allow the other to go far, so it did saddened the artist a bit to see them in such a slump.

"I'm glad to hear that, would you move straight into work if you graduated early or study some more?"

He coughs to clear his throat now, unsure of what to do so rests his hands back into his lap now. He studied Akira's reaction to his and something just in the air with Sora being brought up had changed. It wasn't something Yusuke could fully put his finger on and was not one he was about to push with the other now.

the footnotes along the sides are just BUILDING NAMES?? and then ARCHITECTS ??????? i do really like the cyclical nature of these notes, one makes u flip thru several pages and then you have to turn the book upside down and flip back thru the same pages. the last note in this series is right at the 2nd page in this sequence but along the side. makes me think of. a spiral ::-) makes me smile.

im just now realizing some of these notation marks are letters instead of numbers....X appears several times (that footnote is on page 107) but theres also like, LL (but if the first L was reversed)? and this one is F (page 122). not sure if there is a meaning here

this part makes u turn the book around a lot and i really did get a sense of dizziness while reading bc i realized i didnt know whether the text i was reading was really along the bottom of the page or what... also im still so tripped up that they mention this book by name, even say how many pages it has, and that 'maybe some of the pages are hard to read'. bro.

the song on page 479 is apparently "when johnny comes marching home" which i had to look up but thats where the tune of that song the ants go marching one by one comes from???? u learn something new every day.

i like that the footnote on page 488 is another of those aeronautic symbols (theres a chart of some of them on a collage in the back) and this one means "heavily injured, need a doctor"...............

What is my favourite thing about your portrayal... hmm. Well. There is an ungodly amount to pick from but I want to say how you've managed to make him yours. You've blended show and book canon together in a way that has made youre version of Klaus so unique and so interesting.

I love the dynamics you're able to make with so many different characters and your writing style so perfectly fits him in a way I cant really explain? His dynamic with Katherine is one of my faves, selfishly, because its so complex- more so than the one on the show. They understand each other, in ways no one can because he created her, and weve actually gotten to explore that a little more than we get to see in the show.

I always have and will always say that waiting to be moots with you was well worth it. I am a tenacious little fucker and Im glad I applied that to badgering you into friendship with me, because you and Kloos are more than worth it.

Every time I see rp blogs for certain fandoms now, it just makes me even happier I jumped ship from the rpc.

I'm cool w cringe, and I'm cool w roleplayers being ~fancy~ in their pinned posts with 'a study in: (long list of flowery, cheesy aesthetic sentences)'. But what I cant deal with is how literally every time, they never even rp, post headcanons, or have muse info that comes close to exploring those things. The most they post is a one liner about a fart joke or something and the next thing you know, it's been a year and they've made six other blogs with the same kind of pinned post, and you give up bc nothing's actually happened, despite their fancy pinned posts and the promises how they're gonna 'study' certain things

It feels like a huge bait and switch!! And then of course, when you unfollow them bc you didn't actually see any rping, including rping about those 'studied' topics, they act like you're the biggest jerk in the history of the world just for having different expectations (that THEY led you to have). They storm into your inbox and be like, 'it's just tumblr rp wtf you're so high maintenance' and you sit there like lol wut, firstly, I just unfollowed you and you're the one who came after me, second, there's a big difference between expecting to see writing on an rp blog even one time, and being 'high maintenance', lemme know when you figure out what's 'high maintenance' about me patiently waiting months and months for you to post anything ic and just leaving. You might not wanna write anything, but i do, and i kinda, yknow, need to write in order to have fun in a writing hobby, how am I gonna have fun sitting on my hands for months

Now imma put a target on my back for a second, but I gotta say it: these people aren't running rp blogs, they're running fandom blogs. They love the characters, they don't love writing. They're here to talk about characters or set up a lil collection of gifs and aesthetic posts, but not actually make content or writing of their own. I see 'rp blogs' where literally all their posts are rb'd headcanons from other blogs and zero writing or even input on those headcanons! There's nothing wrong with being a fandom blog or only reblogging things, but it's a problem when people falsly advertise themselves as rpers (in a community full of people who actually wanna rp!) bc they can't examine what they actually want out of a character for 2 secs and set their personal record straight. Don't get mad when rpers unfollow or don't wanna interact when you literally don't rp

🎀 i am willing to explore the relationship between alois and calude , or even alois and sebastian or the other demons . but to be clear , their relationship will not be shippy ( ?? idk how else to put it ) . if any romance is involved , they could have sweet moments or nice internal monologues about eachother , but it wouldn't be healthy or all the way happy , and would be something alois would struggle with rather than being anything ~shippy~ / endgame . it could also be something completely one sided . i would be exploring their relationship , not rooting for them to get together . i like to rp things with angst and drama and dark themes just as much as i like to rp lighthearted silly stuff

ooc. some of my characters act a little bit childish and i get if some people roll their eyes like 'they are old' but hear me out. to point out no one has said anything, so please dont assume it is u. just thoughts my brain is holding me on gun point if i didnt write it, otherwise will delete thoughts in mere seconds.

character like kula who was experimented on, thus she didn't have a personality of her own--experiences like any other kid growing up made her blank. so, she is technically a kid learning basics. however, due to the amount of experiments she is still whether in shock and refuses to leave that period because it means she is going to forget that part (even if it is hurtful and sad it is part of her plus u know she does not want to forget what was done to her.)

kula is slow in acquiring mannerisms and what we call common sense. kula not only she suffered due to the experiments but she lost her very first friend in a uh... climatic way. Candy was her first friend and it reset kula's development back to square one. hadn't not for diane and foxy she would've shut herself off from the world and decided it is better to not 'feel' again. it's because of her loss she decided to 'learn' more about what feelings are.

she [____?] Diane and Foxy. The word is missing for her but with time she learned what 'love' is. She loves her family. She loves her best friend Candy. She loves the things that makes her smile--ice cream! after she dramatically meets k' and maxima, she loves them too because they are her family! she loves seirah a lot! seirah (whip) does everything to fit in the missing puzzle pieces for her. it is a tough work for someone whose brain is not 'normal'.

With Seirah's help Kula is introduced to a lot of things, especially relationship and how she should talk and communicate better. the reason why my kula is still exhibiting childish tendencies more because ...I AM WAITING FOR SEIRAH TO TEACH HER. also real reason tbh im more into developing my muse on my own pace not because i need to be pressured by how others perceive my 'canon muse' as. all my muses are my ocs deal with it. because i assume that your muses even canon are you ocs too! we write them out of fun and joy no need to police the heck out of each other. unless the fanon goes too hard and it does not make sense then yeah poooooooolice!! arrest this person for ruining a good character!!!

anyway, for kula i take it slow, perhaps extra slow with developing her because you cant undo the frick that happened to her with an ask or a thread. i'd love to explore her more so EYES EMOJI MONEY EMOJI PSPSPSPSPS.

another muse is perhaps edea. dont get me wrong she is not childish in the same as kula but she can be ..mix of stubborn, headstrong and overachiever and that comes out as bratty at times. put in perspective that she is lone child, her mother is most of the time sick in the hospital and her father is a man of higher statues who is away, too most of the time .well. she wants to prove herself that she can be independent and can take care of herself. not to mention she wants to make her father realize she is not a kid...by being a kid skfljsdf edea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hear her out please. she learns the sword to know how to protect herself. likes learning sword so she continues and wants to be a master in it to get her father to see that she is growing--she is not the little kid he has to keep an eye on. almost master the sword and her world gets upside down when she learns about the world from agnes' perspective. the world she crafted so well--black and white. evil and good. it shattered in a single encounter with a stranger. she so heartily believed in that kind of world and that she is 'white' because she is always on the justice side to know she is ...quite grey..if not leaning to black. why? because she is not doing enough to change the bad things happening around her that her father is seemingly 'ignoring'. she is at fault as well as her father.

edea requires developing as well and thankfully *looks respectfully at bear and wylan* they are doing THE work with her. i'm getting there to loosen up that 'childish' part of her with time. actually, I WILL NOT YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE SHE IS CRAZY GIRL AND SHE WILL GO HAM ON YOU IF YOU EAT HER CAKE OK? jokes aside, she is a serious character if the situation demands it. and looking at BD2 she got a new air about her and thats like nice! somewhat mature of the events in BD1 but she is still our crazy bimbo lol.

in terms of confidence, i love writing them both. perhaps edea comes more natural since i have been writing her for a while and she has less baggage than kula ngl. but i enjoy getting challenged by my writing partners with prompts/asks/and threads.

i wouldn't want to call z.ack childish, he is optimistic but i get why he might be called that. he is pure. he believes in the goodness of everyone--deep down they can find that goodness too and do good. balancing his optimistic childish with his seriousness can be tricky. like there is a battle in my mind sometimes how to write his response because in my head they are both legit answers. should he go the 'optimistic response route' or 'serious route'. i usually try to imagine the character saying the line in that situation and im puzzled--he can say both lines! but other factors factor in and i pick the one i feel resonate with the thread flow better.

2. How would you describe your approach to writing / creating art? Sporadic chaos😂 My muse likes to go pub crawling with AUs I didnt even know I was writing. I also have a weird disablity, so all too often I just dont have the spoons to keep up with muse’s drunken ramblings🤣🤣🤣

3. Literature / art / films you’d recommend? Well anyone who loves poetry should stop everything and read The Book of Luminous Things, an anthology edited by Miłosz.

4. What are some themes / imageries you like to explore in your work? I may write too many AUs and disabilty fic. I can neither confirm or deny this… And as a H50 writer, I frequently explore Danny rants😜

5. What type of art did you make during your childhood? I was a weird little kid who started writing poetry in first grade. I also hated school, so I pretty much failed every class😁 I’m sure my teachers would be horrified to know I’m old as dirt, still scribbling poems and stories—and I still cant do any of the ‘necessary’ basic stuff. like math. Or figure out what day of the week it is😂😂😂

6. What are you currently working on? I have yet another AU lurking in the wings and two WIPs that people are waiting for me to finish **hands out baseball bats** I’m also steadfastedly ignoring the half-written fics slithering ominously through my google doc folder😳

Oh and Harriet Anne whatzahername who explored Crete—and Mary Beard to write a book on it😁I find it endlessly fascinating how women bring a completely different lense to these fields. Like pointing out that marks in the teeth were from making textiles to Linda Schele deciding to just ask local Maya if they could explain the images at ancient sites (spoiler alert! they could!)
