Just watched MASH episode 4.24 "Deluge" and I now have another piece of evidence in my fundamental belief that People Have Always Been People
#watching people process the Vietnam War through the lens of the Korean War#and how the mundane horrors are juxtaposed against the national and international politics that brought them there#the episode felt very jarring in how quick the cuts were until they started bringing in the pop culture segments#I teared up while a cat was playing ping pong and it had nothing to do with what I was watching#MASH
