Rant ahead

Something that's been bothering me a lot recently is the treatment some part of the TMNT fanbase treat the Rise part of the fanbase.

Are some Rise fans annoying af? Yeah, totally. I find them annoying too.

But here is the thing, every iteration has annoying af fans. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I have heard people saying 03 fans are chill and I can clearly see those people have never seen the youtube comment section or the subreddit for TMNT. Same with 87's and the 90's movies and the 2012 show and the IDW comics.

Those are even worse, there you have openly bigoted fans being terrible people but somehow that doesn't make others a free pass to openly hate the iteration they are fans of. No, the annoying (mostly made of minors) are the true bane of this fanbase.

Mutant Mayhem is going to have their own section of annoying fans and the series following that will have them too because that's how fandoms work. So let's enjoy whatever we like and ignore what we don't.
