#sure i have a lot to say about douyin vs tiktok regulations#and honestly douyin is doing a better job when it comes to social content regulation for minors#BUT they could just implement that on tiktok instead of outright banning it?#like the only other alternatives are meta and google. and they're both equally as awful about privacy#“but a foreign adversary-” yeah sure but we should be concerned about privacy for ALL social media and implement changes on a national scal#instead of just trying to solve the problem on the surface and point fingers#come on the blatant sinophobia is dumb as hell
