Stone was standing on the other side, holding a bag full of just random shit he had just stolen. “Hey.” He said, looking around before he walked passes you. “I—okay…” You sighed, before shutting the door. “What brings you here today?” You asked, watching him laid down on your couch. “Oh, I’m running from the police.” Stone said as he kicked off his shoes.

“Again?!” “Yeah…the lady caught me. She was super pissed.” Stone said as he light his cigarette. “Your parents not home?” He asked as he held his cigarette between his fingers. “Nope, they’re on some trip.” You sighed leaning over the couch. “If you bring the police to my house I will kill you.” You said, pointing your finger at him, your eyebrows furrowed.

“Yeah yeah…I doubt they would come look over here.” Stone said as he got more comfy on your couch. “What did you even steal anyways?” You asked, titling your head to the side. “A few bracelets, not sure why the lady was literally having a stroke.” He grumbled, rolling his eyes.

“How long are your parents out of town?” Stone asked, looking up at you, raising an eyebrow. “Two weeks.” You said, walking over and sitting in a chair next to the couch. “For their jobs…which is lame.” You sighed, leaning back against the back of the chair. “But it just means you can probably stay here, along with Vinnie and Skipp.” Stone nodded, puffing out smoke from his lips. “Thanks. It’s been getting chilly at night. Maybe you could warm me up.” “STONE!” “I’m kidding…kinda.”

The two of you talked for the next thirty minutes, before hearing a loud knock on the door. “Ramshackle police open up!” A male voice yelled from the other side of the front door. You and Stone jumped.

“Really?!” You whispered yelled to Stone, who only groaned. “Damn it…” He muttered as he slowly sat up, running his fingers through his hair. “Go—hide or something!” You said, before you stood up and walked to the front door.

You opened it, being greeted by over ten officers. You gulped. “Officers—what can I do for you?” You asked, your eyebrows furrowed. “Good day, we have had several reports of people being robbed today. And we have a reason to believe that you are hiding the suspect in your home.” One officer said, his hands resting on his hips.

“Oh my, no not at all sir.” You gasped, placing your hand over your chest. “I’m alone here, no one else is here.” You said, shaking your head. “May we just check?” Another officer spoke up. “Don’t you need a—“ The officers didn’t care for an answer, only shoving themselves into your home. “I—okay then.” You grumbled frowning. You watched as the officers looked around the place. Your eyes landed on Stone, who was standing in the corner of your living room with a lamp shade over his head. You face palmed, shaking your head. “Fucking idiot…”

You noticed the officers noticed him, but they didn’t say anything. “Hah! No idiot would ever be a lamp.” One officer chuckled as he stared at Stone, not realizing it was a whole person. “Yeah, someone stupid would believe that.”

“How did you get jobs…let alone get this far in life.” You muttered, leaning against your couch.

After ten minutes, the officers left. “Stone. How do you do it?” You asked, lifting the lamp shade off of his head. He had a smug grin on his face. “No idea.”

WE TALKED SO MUCH ABOUT THE RIN AND SAE LOVE TRIANGLE REQUEST THAT IT ALMOST MANIFESTED INTO REALITY 😭 but actually i was always going to have ego be there!! he’s meant to be a retired jockey and trainer who helps reader with her pegasus because it’s a super weak foal that she has to raise and train herself so ego’s retired ahh decides to help her because he has nothing better to do and he wants her to race against kaiser and beat him (because kaiser is training with noel noa who is ofc ego’s opp) anri was a last minute addition though originally she was just the generic “best friend” character like in fwtkac where she’s never named but then i was annoyed by having to dance around not giving her a name so then i was like hmm tullia feature perhaps?? but THEN i was like nah because including tullia in just a one shot is like asking to be shot or smth 😓 in series people have time to adjust to liking her so it’s not as bad but in a one shot it would just cause unnecessary drama so i just went with the only female character in all of blue lock and made it anri!!

i will always be a safe place for side character and rare dynamic enjoyers 🙏🏻 it’s like i always say…if you like side characters that means you probably have read the media closely enough to actually know who they are and understand them enough to like them?? and if you can pull off a rare pair or dynamic well that means you understand the characters to the point that it feels convincing which is why i think having rare pairs or liking really random characters is like a green flag to me that a person isn’t going to have weird fandom opinions (not 100% accurate though sadly but def a good indicator)

unfortunately the aot fandom is like genuinely insane so they eat well but they don’t DESERVE IT 😭 aot as a show is very complicated for me because on the one hand i think there’s a lot that was done really well and i think the first three seasons (and even a bit into the fourth) were AMAZING but the fourth was. not utter TRASH but i think it could’ve been done better and conveyed the messages i believe the author was trying to convey in a clearer way 🤔 so i would neither glaze nor hate on the show!! but people either like to absolutely dog on it or they’re like twelve years old and the themes of the show went over their head entirely so they just say bs and it’s like “okay you need to attend a few more english classes before you’re qualified to have an opinion on this” yk?? so that means there’s a lot of crazy takes in both directions floating around abt the show hence why i don’t really post write or even think about it that much anymore

the itoshis are the FACE of blue lock i fear HAHAHA i think nagi was the most popular back when the first season first came out (so many mutuals i know that started the show for nagi but moved on whereas i did the opposite because i got into bllk so much later) but especially because he hasn’t been in the manga much and has been in a downfall arc he hasn’t been getting as much attention 😩 and the people who DO like him are mostly anime-only so they typically make the more basic edits 💔 in terms of canon it’s GREAT being a nagi fan because he always comes back (plus he has epinagi) but in terms of the fandom it’s truly rough 😰

karasu and r&t yukimiya having legitimate beef would actually be really cool lowkey…karasu naturally being who yukimiya is pretending to be which drives yukimiya insane because wdym he’s just…like that?? like he’s perfectly calm (jeirin pointed out the other day that we haven’t even seen karasu cursing ONCE which i haven’t checked myself but i trust her and lowkey given how the blue lock players talk to each other on the daily that’s CRAZY maybe that’s why he was voted number two gentleman 😭) has plans for the future even outside of soccer and is charismatic enough that he makes friends and people listen to him super easily ☝🏻 MEANWHILE KARASU DESPISES YUKIMIYA because see he doesn’t know that it’s all an act yk?? so he thinks there’s just this insanely perfectly perfect dude just chilling in bllk who’s handsome and likable plus just the general beef that karasu always ends up having with yukimiya in the miraverse somehow…but neither of them ever says anything about it because they’re both too mature to actually act on their beef but like they def don’t fw each other

You were sat on a nearby chair, with Calum’s jacket wrapped around you. Calming down with more gulps of water, you realized that it was Nia all along. Your intoxicated mind finally began to slip away as you can finally think soberly. She pulled him in and that’s what you saw. 

But it still didn’t make up for him abandoning you. 

“I’m sorry, I just--!” Nick tried, rubbing his forehead in some frustration as he looked up at Calum. “I was pissed off that she was with you and not with me because I find Y/N to be amazing. She really is amazing.” 

“Then why’d you get her incredibly drunk?” Luke began quietly. “Apparently a few of the girls saw you buy several drinks and give them to Y/N. I also managed to get the bartender to show me your tab of tonight.” 

“I just wanted her to loosen up and not think about her asshole boyfriend for a bit,” Nick defended as he rubbed his cheek. “And she was having a great time-- those girls who told you are now her friends.” 

“That’s no excuse to fucking drunk up my girlfriend, you twat!” Calum hissed. Ashton remained behind you, his hand on your head to reassure you. But this pat didn’t help at all this time. You were fairly frightened and unsure about everything. “She wasn’t in her right fucking mind, you asshole! You used her when she was vulnerable again and fucking... touched her.” 

“I... fuck,” Nick muttered, defeated, placing his head in his hand as he thought. You were looking down on the floor, but in your peripheral vision, you saw Nick in pure displeasure. “Y/N, I am really sorry. I really am, and I absolutely hate myself for sinking into Nia’s plan due to my greed.” 

“Plan?” Michael piped, walking over to Nick to also give him a leer. “What fucking plan?” 

“Nia, she...” Nick began, sighing a bit as he looked down at the floor as well. “She heard about what happened at the bar back in Finland. It was all over the news. So she hit me up and she asked me if I liked Y/N. And I said sorta and she proposed this insane idea where if I got Y/N out of her mind and saw her and Calum kiss, she’d come to me.” 

“Holy shit,” Michael began in disbelief. “You two are fucking disgusting, what the fuck.” 

“I just really wanted her to stop crying,” Nick began quietly. “And I thought trying to... do what I did would make her feel better. But it definitely didn’t, and I feel like a complete dick.” 

“As you fucking should,” Calum hissed again. Although you couldn’t see, you could tell Calum’s almond eyes were dim and full of rage. “Nothing can make up for what you did to her. Not even your fucking apologies will erase those touches.” 

“Y/N,” Nick called to you softly. His voice was broken, and desperation slid off his tongue in your name. You knew he was facing you, so you tilted your head up to show that you were listening. “I really am fucking sorry. Completely and utterly sorry. What I did to you was beyond me, and I hope that you don’t hate me. You don’t have to forgive me, but it would kill me if you hated me. This is not who I am at all and I regret what I did to you completely.” 

You gulped. 

Letting out a shaky sigh, you knew what was right. You stood up, allowing Calum’s jacket to slip off you as you walked over to Nick. Calum tried to grab you away, but Michael stopped him swiftly. He even called your name, but you weren’t listening. You stood right in front of Nick, looking down at the Jonas brother with a soft stare. He looked up at you, regret coated in his eyes. 

That’s when you offered him your hand. 

“Y/N...” Ashton murmured, but you weren’t listening. You waited for Nick, keeping your hand in the air as you waited for him to accept it. He hesitated at first. but quickly wrapped his large hand around yours. You then use your other hand to hold onto his as well to help him up. Swiftly, he got up without using too much force from you and was now stood before you. 

“Y/N, I--” Nick tried, but you placed your hand in front of him and gave him a sheepish smile. 

“I forgive you,” you said quietly. You have his hand a reassuring squeeze as you smiled brightly at him. “What you did to me was fucked up though, and you shouldn’t be content with yourself at all. But, you had weird good intentions in mind, and I don’t really hate you. Just don’t try that with anyone else, or else you’ll definitely be seeing a lawsuit.” 

“You’re right,” Nick said, giving you a gentle smile as you giggled quietly. “I really am fucking sorry though, Y/N. You’re being really cool about this when I don’t even deserve it, so thank you.” 

“Nah man, it’s alright,” you said with a shrug. “You’re a good person, and I see that. As long as you know what you did was wrong and won’t repeat it, we’re cool.” Nick nodded and gave you a wide smile as you two shook hands. 

“Why the fuck are you forgiving him, Y/N?” Calum growled behind you. You let go of Nick’s hand to turn and watch your fuming boyfriend. “He would have gotten his fucking way had I not rushed up here!” 

“I wasn’t going to!” Nick tried to defend behind you. “Surely, what I did was fucked up, but I do have class, you know!” 

Calum was going to lunge out of Michael’s grip, but you soon came in front of him and placed your hand on his chest. Calum halted his breath, staring down at you as you felt his silky shirt on your shaky fingers. You closed your eyes, allowing yourself to indulge in the silence you produced. You felt his heart speed from your touch. 

“Let’s go back to the hotel,” you whispered, having Calum oblige to your wish as he guided you over to grab his jacket. Luke, Michael, and Ashton walk head to make a hasty exit. As you and Calum walked towards the exit, Calum was placing his jacket back on you. 

But as you two walked, Nick called out to Calum. 

“Hood,” Nick hollered. You and the boys halted, not turning but stood still to indicate that you were all ears. “Even when she was drunk, she didn’t melt from my touch. You were the only thing she could think about. You better not let her go.” 

You found yourself smiling at those words. Even though you were a simple college student going on tour with your cousins band, it would seem all the big names adored you. They didn’t treat you like you were lesser than them, and that made you feel immensely happy. 

Calum kept his eyes grounded on the floor, having you all walk towards the exit again. But as you did, the exit door flung open and introduced you all to loud music. Michael and Luke moved out of the way to see Nia rush out and look around for a moment. 

“Calum, where are--” Nia began, pausing once she saw Calum. A wide smile painted on her lips at the side of the Maori boy. But it soon faltered when she saw you right in front of him. “Um, what’s going on up here?” You walked past her and joined the boys towards the front. You were going to let Calum handle his business with her. 

“Nia, we are nothing, okay?” Calum said in a straightforward tone. You kept walking but you heard Calum loud enough to hear the sincerity in his voice. “I have the girl of my dreams finally with me so please, stop chasing me and find yourself another who will love you back. But for now, we can’t even be friends. We’re associates and we will only talk about the bands and the label. Don’t you dare talk to me about anything else ever again.” 

“But Calum!” You heard her cry as you walked back down into the loudness of the party. Ashton wrapped his arm around your shoulder, guiding you through the crowds and towards the exit. Calum was quick to trail behind you guys as you slipped from the party without saying any goodbyes. 

Back at Hotel, 10:33 P.M. 

You walked down the corridor where your suites resided with the boys. It was silent between you all, more or less. Everybody was incredibly mad. Calum just punched the crap out of Nick and is still fuming. Ashton hasn’t said much, but his silence indicated his anger on its own. Michael was agitated with Calum for being at fault. And Luke... he was a case inexplicable. He was mad on a separate note, even though he shared the same anger with Ashton and Michael. 

“Goodnight, you guys,” Luke finally hummed as everybody had reached the port of the suites. You looked over to see him looking distantly at the red carpeted ground, his eyes seeming distant in thought. As he placed his hand on the doorknob of his suite, it seemed like something in him cracked. 

His lips quivered, then tears began to stream down his cheek. 

“Luke?” You whispered to him, having him clench around the knob tighter as the tears began to stream down his cheek. His pearly white teeth bit down on his bottom lip, threatening to scream out whimpers. His ocean blue eyes once full of life were dim like the ocean suffering a bad storm. 

He aggressively shoved the key card into the scanner and accessed the room. He pushed it open and ran inside, not even bothering to slam the door behind him. You all watched as the door creaked closed but allowed a sliver of the suite to be seen. 

“What happened?” You whispered, staring at the door as you hoped the other boys could provide you with an answer. 

“From what happened on the roof,” Ashton began, his voice a little raspy from speaking so little. “Arzaylea, his girlfriend, must have cheated on him. So he claimed that she and Calum would be perfect for each other.” 

“Please don’t repeat that right now,” Calum groaned, knowing it bothered him that you and him were on rough waters due to his kiss with Nia. Although you were still a little on the edge about that, that wasn’t on your mind. Luke was crying, alone, without anybody there. 

I’ll go,” you hummed to Michael, who was preparing to walk in to soothe the lead singer. Michael shot you an ‘are you sure?’ stare, relieving it with a nod as you slowly approached the door. But as you placed your hand on the knob, you felt Calum’s jacket being tugged. 

“Y/N,” Calum spoke quietly. “I really want us to talk right now.” 

“I need to talk to Luke first, okay?” You whispered, feeling Calum’s grip lingering on the jacket. You wanted to talk to Calum as well, but you also knew you wouldn’t feel at ease if you hadn’t spoke to Luke, first. Even though Calum was your boyfriend, Luke was one of your best friends. 

Without waiting any longer, you pushed open the door and entered the room. Because Calum still held the jacket, it slipped off of you when you entered. A sudden cool rush dancing along you from the lack of its heat, but you thankfully still had your sweater on. Closing the door behind you, you turn on the light to find Luke at the door of his bed, closer to the large windows. 

The windows were open, revealing to him the brightness of the busy city before him. But he wasn’t admiring it like he typically would. He was lost in thought, staring at the transparent glass distantly. He was sobbing quietly, as he glanced by the slightest behind him to notice you. Even though you saw little of his eye, you saw how it was developing into a hue of pink. 

“What?” He murmured to you, a scoff that was more weak than aggressive. You walked over slowly, nervous to approach but determine to be there for him. You tugged at your fingers, sitting down quietly at the corner of the bed across from his. You were only a few feet apart. 

I’m sorry to hear about Arzaylea, Luke,” you began, seeing him wince at her voice. “I know how excited you were for me to meet her. But I suppose those plans have... changed.” 

“I just... don’t understand how she could do that to me,” Luke muttered, shifting a bit so you could see his side profile. He looked forward, distantly at the TV in his suite as he cried. “I thought I had been doing everything right and we were getting along so well...” 

“I know,” you whispered softly. You rested your hands in your lap, knowing that attempting to touch Luke wouldn’t be the best idea. “I’m sure you loved her the best you could, and she was too stupid to see that. I’m sure now she does and regrets breaking your heart.” 

“It just hurts my heart a bit, you know?” Luke said, his bottom lip trembling from emotion. He finally turned to face you, but was still indirectly staring as his eyes rested on the bit of bed separating the two of you. “It honestly just pisses me off. I know I’ll be over it by tomorrow, but shit. That’s such a bitch way to break up with me.” 

“I don’t know this girl well, or at all, but that definitely is a bitch thing to do,” you said sympathetically. “But you’re amazing, okay? You’re Luke fucking Hemmings and I know that you make people die every time by just existing.” 

Luke looked up and smiled at you, seeing his broken blue eyes glow up a bit. He then began scooting over to you with his arms open, hoping for a hug. You quickly leaned into his arms and returned the hug, holding the nice embrace for however long he needed it. You were there to support him and nothing else at the moment. 

“Thank you, Y/N,” Luke muttered in your ear as he hugged you. “For talking to me when something bigger is going on with you right now. I’m sorry if this sidetracked you a bit.” 

“Don’t worry about that,” you reassured into his ear. You rubbed his upper back with your hands, hoping to soothe his pain faster. “Me and Calum will be talking. Just not at the moment.” 

“I’m also sorry for what happened tonight,” Luke choked out. He pulled away, holding your arms to share each others shaky states. “With Nia and Nick, and you and Calum falling into their trap. We all kept an eye on them, me and the boys. We knew she was up to something, but didn’t think it was so elaborate that she kissed you right when you walked in.” 

“How did you guys know what had happened?” You asked with pure curiosity. “On the rooftop with Nick?” 

“Ashton was the first person to dash over to the entry to watch you being taken away with Nick,” Luke began. “He threw his drink to the side and everything and then came to us to tell us. We all then crowded Calum and told him, but he was being really stubborn about it and didn’t believe us at first.” 

“Am I that insignificant to him?” You whispered weakly, unsure how to feel about Luke’s words. 

“Nah, it wasn’t that,” Luke reassured. “Thing is that Calum was overreacting to that kiss with Nia that he couldn’t really comprehend it. So with the kiss and us yelling at him at the same time, he was sorta just lost. He was also a bit tipsy, so he definitely didn’t have his brain screwed on all the way.” 

“But nonetheless, we ripped him from Nia, right?” Luke continued. “And right when we were at the balcony looking for you, Calum heard you scream his name. We all looked up and figured you were on the roof. And that’s what happened.” 

“I’m really thankful for you guys,” you whispered, squeezing Luke’s arms as a smile formed on his lips. You really were gracious to the guys for protecting you and giving you so much love. It felt nice to know that people are always wary about you and want to ensure your safety. 

“Thank you for coming here and talking to me,” Luke began as he began to wipe his face from the tears. You felt bad that he was even crying in the first place, but you felt better knowing he was able to talk it out. It even seems like he was already feeling better. “You know, Y/N, even though Calum fucked up, he really does love you.” 

You nodded slowly, unsure how to actually take that. You knew Calum adored you with his life, but everything has gone so fast that it’s just something you slightly doubt. It was all too much for you at the moment. 

“I know it doesn’t seem like he does, but Calum adores you with everything he has,” Luke began quietly. “We all make mistakes and most of us try our very best to fix it.” He nudged your shoulder slightly, getting your gaze again as he gave you a small smile. “I bet you a lot of money that he’s over there in your suite, anxiously waiting for you to walk in and begin apologizing.” 

“But he was angry with me,” you began quietly, feeling tears wanting to form in your eyes. 

“He was angry with Nick,” Luke corrected. “He just thought that knowing what he almost did last time, you wouldn’t try to go near him again. But it’s true, he should have known that you weren’t angry with Nick in the first place. And you’re just all out a friendly person, Y/N.” 

Then, Luke patted your head with his hand. 

You expected this plenty from Ashton, but never from Luke. Although they were incomparable, it still felt welcoming. You knew Luke cared about you and Calum’s relationship. It made you feel warm to know that even though you two strive different lives, your hearts were fully connected. 

“Go and talk to him, yeah?” Luke cooed. “Thank you for speaking to me first, though. I really needed that. But now it’s his turn, and I doubt you wanna keep him waiting. That guy gets rather pissy when he’s impatient.” 

“Very true,” you said with a giggle as you rose from Luke’s bed. Heading towards the door, you place your hand on the cool, gold knob. “Goodnight, Luke,” you say softly while glancing back at him. 

“Goodnight, Y/N,” Luke said with a smile. “Oh, and good luck.” You laughed as you exited his suite and shut it behind you quietly. Letting out a deep sigh, you walk over to your suite and fished out your key card from your pocket. 

Swiping it, you saw the green light turn on and the door unlock with a click.
