@cr0wt0wn separate post to say my thoughts on the rosemary questions (sorry if it is a bit incomprehensible, my brain is scrambled from lack of sleep and classes)

on greed and inferiority

i think to some extent each shard of rosemary aims to be an improvement on the previous in their own specialized way. from my perspective, greed takes this to an extreme, and she is effective and successful in her goals! she made a family and didnt lose them like lust. she formed bonds but didnt get too close (allegedly) like envy. but her pitfall is her overblown ego to try and cover for the fact that shes trying so hard not to be like the others. its really the thing that gives her insecurity away if that makes sense. like if there was a hole in the wall and the hole was covered with a giant blinking neon sign.

with her occasionally prioritizing her own goals over the shadow and general combative attitude, it makes sense that she doesnt have good report with the others. i think she mirrors envy in this way- the other shards look down on or feel pity for envy because of her circumstances, and they dislike greed for her attitude/behavior. theyre both volatile shards you have to tread carefully around, but for different reasons.

on rx7

rx7… there is a lot going on with her, for sure. i really enjoyed early in the year when she had her whole identity crisis (ego death) moment in losing the hive and that rare little moment in time where she was truly unified and referred to herself as “i”. it was wild as hell and lives in my mind!!! it has been really thrilling to see her in nxt with wendy choo and there are so many opportunities for what is next for her, but i feel like the original plot has kind of been lost and i am not sure what the focus is anymore 😭 the original plan was hunt ash, reunite with the hive, hopefully find havok along the way. now that she is with wendy, she is reunited with the hive and doesnt seem to be focused on ash anymore (and im a bit sad this little stalker arc is abandoned/on hold).

there is an interesting little thread in their dynamic- the fact that wendy has promised to help rosemary with something, but we dont know what that something is. wrath seems conflicted about this, which i am eating up. hoping for more interference from wrath in rosemarys functioning here, considering its established that wrath has influenced the look of the meatsuit (draining so much energy that the hair has gone blonde) :)
