So TCW has a lot of episodes, so I understand people missing certain things that narrative is trying to say. It's an anthology it has a lot to say, but I think one of the episodes that is really important now that we're getting live action perspective of TCW is the episode is "Lair of Grevious" its one of the few standalone episodes and one of the few not starring Anakin Ahsoka or Obi-wan. It stars Kit Fisto and his newly knighted former Padawan, Nahdar Vebb.
We watch as the young Nahdar, though confident, is ill prepared to deal with a warrior of Grevious's caliber and dies. The characters talk about his overconfidence being his undoing, but what is not talked about is how young Nahdar was. We aren't given an age but considering he was one of the senior level padawans promoted to help bolster the jedi numbers he can only be about Anakin's age(~20) And unlike Anakin, Nahdar was not a warrior but a jedi Healer. And Grevious viciously kills Nahdar despite him reaching knighthood.
That could have been Ahsoka.
We know fully now that Anakin trained Ahsoka to be a soldier to survive the war because Jedi trained like Nahdar died in the war. Grevious fights ahsoka multiple times in TCW, and if not for Anakin's harsh training, Ahsoka probably wouldn't have lived through them.
Because other padawans didn't, because other knights didn't.
The Jedi were ill prepared for the war and no more is that clearer than them sending out their own children onto the Frontlines.
Ahsoka was lucky and well prepared, and that's why she survived.
