Around others no one would even know that you two were dating. He doesn't like PDA at all and the most you'll get from him is a mundane conversation. But in private it's such a dichotomy.

He likes to come up to you when your attention isn't on him. Whatever it is you're occupied with, he'll come up from behind, wrap his arms around your waist and kiss your shoulder. He's rather distracting about it actually.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He's not an upbeat friend at all, as evident by his relationship with Hizashi. He tends to not get too attached to people for a while due to his trauma. You'd probably be the one to initiate the friendship and he'd eventually just grow used to your company.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

This man is the motherfucking king of cuddling. It'll take him a bit to get that close to you, but once he's comfortable with you, it probably takes up most of the time you two spend together. He's so snuggly and warm, and showers you with forehead kisses. Once he falls asleep his arms will lock around you, not allowing you to move from his hold. Good luck.

He's kind of cute and funny when he cleans because he does it so meticulously for no reason.

He'll be straightforward and honest with you, laying down why it has to end. He's not as heartless about it as someone might expect, just very blunt. It'll probably be a bittersweet ending, and while Shouta wouldn't let the breakup get in the way of him, he'd be pretty sad about it internally.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

It will take forever for him to propose. Mulitple years even. He doesn't see why having your relationship on paper makes any difference between you two. Once he does, he'll do it layed back. It'll happen inside your home after a nice home-cooked meal. It takes him a lot of to muster up the courage to ask you. He'll spare you the cheesy speeches and get to the point, pulling out a ring that's probably not even in the case and slipping it onto your finger.

Preferably, he'd like to just sign the papers and skip the wedding, but if it's really important to you he'll agree to a little one. Just don't force him to do stuff that'll embarrass him, like dancing at the reception. He'd divorce you then and there.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He's blunt and honest with you, but you're also not one of his students. There's no reason for him to be unnecessarily strict with you. He won't hold back his opinions but he's pretty gentle with you about it. It's very, very rare for him to raise his voice at you. You'd probably have to do something severe for him to do that to you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Hugs are awkward for him at first because he typically doesn't like getting so close to someone. He'll grow to like them though, probably coming up to get hugs more than you'd expect. His hugs are so warm and embracing. They're addictive and you'll never be able to get enough of them.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It'll take a long while to coax it out of him. He knows it, but bringing it to words makes him feel awkward. Honestly, it probably will come out when you're snuggled together and he's so unbelievably tired that he doesn't even think before it comes out. When he realizes what he said, he gets flustered so quickly and pouts in embarrassment.

From then on out, "I love yous" don't come super often because he shows not tell. But when it does come out you know it. He always means it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He's not really jealous because he trusts you. He's confident in your relationship and has faith that you'll stay true to him. However....sometimes he'll see you talking with someone who seems a tad too friendly and get a little annoyed. But he doesn't get in the way.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Ticklish haha. When he's leaving for work it'll be a brief peck on the lips but when you're spending time together they'll be deeper and more affectionate. He likes being kissed on the neck. For you he likes to give you kisses on your temple.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Clearly strict. But good. He doesn't let children walk all over him but he pays close attention to them and knows how to be a caretaker. He's nurturing too, in his own way.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

It's kind of sad because usually by the time you wake up he's gone for work. On weekends, though, the two of you will stay in bed for a while, exchanging kisses and conversation. Eventually you'll get up and make coffee for the two of you and spend the weekend savoring the time you get to have together.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Sleepy. He's always ready for bed. Sometimes he'll agree to watch a movie with you, but he'll always fall asleep within the first 10 minutes.

It'll take a while for him to delve into his past. He doesn't like talking about it. Not really because he doesn't trust you, he just gets a little sad talking about it. He'll reveal things slowly to you over time.

Eh. He doesn't get really angry, but he's moody. He's a buzzkill because he's kinda always in a shitty mood. He's stressed and overworked. He can get snappy when he's mad but he doesn't yell at you. He knows that he doesn't need to to get his point across.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Honestly he forgets things sometimes. He remembers important stuff, but things slip. Sometimes he won't even remember your birthday is coming up until he gets the reminder on his phone.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He enjoys remembering how he met you. You two are cat lovers, and he met you when you were feeding stray cats in the area. He remembers how caring you were and the joy that lit up your features as you pet the cats. He instantly knew he liked you then.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He needs to be sure of your safety, which is partially why he's so hesitant to be around you in public. He doesn't want to risk someone targeting you to get back at him. If you were ever hurt by a villain he'd probably go apeshit.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Dates and anniversaries can be a miss for him. He really doesn't like doing all that romantic stuff, it feels forced to him.

He sucks at giving you attention sometimes. He's so busy and is naturally closed off, so he can tend to forget that he needs to actively pay attention to you. It can feel sort of like that married couple that grow to be roommates more than lovers.

anyways excellent question had to think about it a lot while getting through my post-camping haze. i think in some ways i have to mentally break it down in two camps: does nayuta + aki/denji/power take place in a scenario where shenanigans have taken makima out & brought nayuta in before makima's scheming were able to manifest, or a scenario where makima shows her hand and the plot more or less plays out except aki and power manage to eke out a survival?

this distinction would be most apparent for aki. if we're dealing with the former scenario, where aki can still 'love' makima, he's gonna grieve her, feel guilty about not being able to stop it because he just feels guilty about everything, so he's gonna be really protective of nayuta. a bit smothery. in the latter situation though, where makima's plans have come out and he's feeling shock and betrayal, and probably fear and anger and guilt over how power and denji were in danger? i think aki would be much less open to having her around, even cold and distant. not outright mean, but think how he was with denji and power turned up a notch. not like completely heartless about her, she's still sooooooo baby, but it'd be a rocky relationship. nayuta is gonna think he's annoying probably. but he makes good food. so he may live.

with denji, i think the most important factor to consider in comparison to what we're seeing from the denji+nayuta canon relationship, is that here denji isn't alone with her. while i still think denji and nayuta would still be the closest, but i feel like denji doesn't have to Single Dad it so soon after losing aki and power. like, in this reality has he been forced to confront the truth of his childhood? confront makima's manipulation of his feelings? while i don't see denji like, being less close to nayuta and wanting to take care of her, i do think there's some room where he's less compelled to make her #1 while aki and power are still in his life, or if he thinks that aki can help take care of her the way he takes care of everything.

this probably is of no surprise to anyone but the idea of a power + nayuta dynamic intrigues me the most. i think first and foremost that they would Not Get Along (At First, Shenanigans Can Still Happen). their brashness and pushiness are so similar that i think they'd just fuckin clash. ESPECIALLY over denji. they both want denji to pay attention to them and be their bestie and not hang out with the other. in particular, i think that power would delight in being Bigger and More Powerful (from her perspective) than the former makima, and try to pay back all those times makima intimidated her. this won't work out for her! but then something looney tunes slapstick will happen to denji and they will take a break from their rivalry to laugh at him and all will be well.

the other aspect of power+nayuta i kinda mull over is like - so we see power openly disobey makima, The Control Devil, in chapters 90/91. and i'm going to have to reread the series to recall whether power had disobeyed makima before, because i feel like i had the thought before those chapters came out but i can't remember. we do see power pathetically pushing back or whining when makima tells her to do something, only to be cowed when makima looks at her like :) but it's still different from the more servile or fawning way people influenced by makima. though maybe it's because power is a fiend rather than one of the humans that makima condescendingly dotes on. idk i just want power to be My Most Special Girl and have that 'it factor' that lets her resist makima's direct control or something. and nayuta recognizing this and being both threatened and intrigued by her. it's not a legit theory i have but i do think of it.

but eventually. EVENTUALLY. there will be love peace and happiness on the planet earth. fujimoto would never deny us that.

but yeah 110% agreed on fujimoto's works meaning a lot. csm, fire punch, his pre- and post-csm oneshots, pretty much everything has a spark that i straight up can't resist. i do get extra sentimental about look back and goodbye, eri just because they happened to come out after i was dealing with a loss and it was like, Man He Gets It. and he's a fan of psycho goreman dude has taste.

anyways. wishing you LOTS of luck in learning japanese. i will never be able to do so because i do not have a head for languages (my mom lost the form for doing french immersion and from that point i was doomed) and can only subsist on what my friends share, but there's a lot of value in learning any language. which sounds corny. but it's legit.

Things that I know about A Stitch In Time prior to listening to it:

Garak goes to spy school, which is for spies (for some reason the idea of this is amusing to me. like I get it duh of course the Order must have some sort of training system but also. fanfic ass trope. Spy School! For Spies! it's even a boarding school and everything. DARKEST ACADEMIA)

Garak performs a classic bisexual rite of passage by falling in love with both members of an older(?) married couple (or well textually probably only the wife. I feel like I'd have heard about it if he were Betacanonically Queer (TM) in this book. but here's hoping I'll be astonished while listening!)

I can't remember if I read anything specific about it or not but just based on vibes alone I do not have high hopes for this couple's like. life expectancy.

You slowly walk downstairs, and try to take a quick glance to see whether Kai’s cult meeting is coming to an end. Although you were almost always welcome, when it came to an upcoming murder, for some reason, Kai didn’t want you involved. And to keep you as safe and indifferent as possible, he didn’t tell you anything about it. But now that you were having a few days off work, you found yourself wandering around the house aimlessly, wanting to be with Kai even more than usual. You were usually welcome at the meetings, and it felt unnatural to you to have to avoid them. When you peaked your head around the corner of the bookshelf, Kai instantly notices you and hedges in his sentence, looking to the floor and sighing. He rubs his eyes before looking back up at you.

“I thought I was clear, can’t you keep yourself busy?”, he snaps at you. You walk over a little closer to him and sigh in exasperation.

“Can’t I just sit with you? I won’t even listen I swear-”, you don’t bother saying anything else when Kai stands up and burns you with his eyes.

“Go away”. You sulk at his words but continue to stand there, your eyes flicking around the floor, searching for something else to say and as you open your mouth to beg to stay yet again, another loud sigh interrupts you. He shakes his head and reaches into his pocket, before taking out his wallet and then credit card. He holds it in front of you and speaks with his regular authoritative tone of voice. He had to make sure that everybody at the meeting knew that he was completely in charge of you.

“Here. Don’t go crazy, but go somewhere and keep yourself busy”. You hesitantly take his credit card from his hand and nod at him, but when you pick your arms up to give him a grateful hug, he pushes them back down to deny it and snaps at you once last time.

“Do not come back here until I’m done with my meeting”

You nod and promptly leave, knowing that Kai doesn’t expect an answer, and just expects you to understand and follow every order he gives you. You quickly get dressed and leave the house, knowing Kai will get more mad if you sit around and don’t take advantage of what he gave you. Though he never particularly showered you with money, he always made sure he spoiled you some way or another so you would stay close to him.

You cautiously but happily spend Kai’s money, unsure how much you have or how much he is willing for you to spend, but in order to make sure that he wont regret giving you this gift, you decide to treat him too.

Within a little more than an hour, the very complicated plan of murder is clear to everybody in the cult and the meeting comes to an end. At that very second when most people begin to scatter, your phone in your pocket dings loudly, making sure you hear it. You’re in huge trouble if you don’t reply to Kai’s messages and calls, so to avoid having your phone taken away you never put it on silent or vibrate, and immediately read his messages. He asks when you’re planning to return home, and even though you were on your way for a coffee, mostly done with shopping, you don’t want to make him wait for you. Your thumbs dance around the keypad as you plan a message when your phone buzzes in your hand with another message from Kai.

‘Come home now’

Although his anger and fierce dominance strikes fear in others, and sometimes in you too, you go home with an innocent smirk on your face, already excited for angry Kai.

When you walk through the door Kai shuts it instantly after you, making you flinch, not having noticed him behind it. You attempt to hide your bags behind your back, but to no avail.

“I got a scam alert”, he says calmly, turning the key in the door to lock it.

“Uncharacteristic purchase from Victoria’s Secret”, he says quietly. There is a controversy in the mlb fandom about the origin of Adrien. I was wondering if I could ask you to not address it? I have strong opinions on it, and I would find it hard to disagree with you.

I recently found out that a lot of people talk about stuff like this as in trying to figure out what will happen in the show. I'd like to add a disclaimer that I don't do that, and I literally talk about this stuff based on the idea of whether or not I think it would be a good idea for a show to go in this direction. People make writing decisions I hate all the time, and Miraculous is... I mean. I can't predict this show. Jesus.

Sooooooo anyway I don't get the point of sentimonster!Adrien. If you do, and you like it, there's nothing wrong with that. This is just my take.

I see a lot of people talk about how it could be true, but never really a why. I can't imagine what him being a sentimonster would add to the story. He's already sad. He's already directly connected to the villains. He's already struggling with find his own purpose.

It would make him sadder, sure, but he's already so goddamn sad I can't see why it would matter? There wouldn't be questions over his personhood, because sentimonster!Ladybug was immediately welcomed as a full person with her own thoughts, opinions, desires, ability to change, etc. If Adrien was a sentimonster, it'd be kind of weird if they all started having a problem with it when it took them about three minutes to accept other sentimonsters as people.

He would be more fragile, because he would have a feather that could be destroyed or be destroyed by any holder of the peacock miraculous, and that could probably make for some exciting plot lines? But, I mean, Chat gets kidnapped and nearly murdered every other Tuesday so it's not like villains don't do this regularly already. I could see doing fun stuff with it, but I don't even think it would change the story that much considering Chat's current role as frequent damsel in distress and villain bait, lol.

I've seen people talking about using the wish to make Adrien a real boy, but because Ladybug and Chat literally have the power to make that wish at any time because they are the holders of those miraculous, it's not like they have a quest to hunt the same thing the villain is hunting. So then it's just a matter of what the price would be, and it's just a question of whether real boy status is worth paying. Which, considering it's word of god that the only downsides to sentimonster life is A) immortality and B) being fragile, it's gonna be pretty hard to justify paying almost anything to make Adrien human.

Here's where I'll just brace myself for backlash and let it hit me, because, like... okay I think the internet is just really obsessed with Sad White Boys. Fandom loves Sad White Boys. If there is a way to make the story more about a Sad White Boy, especially if it makes him Sadder, fandom will latch onto it. People love that.

But, like... I just don't. Ever since I was born media has insisted that I empathize with these stories about Sad White Boys and I do, but I'm also really fucking bored of that story. I'm not white or a boy and I'm not really especially into boys in general and I'm sad but, like, humblebrag - my trauma's real deep so these boys aren't as sad as me - so like eeeehhhh?

Adrien has a great story set up already - he's the villain's son, he struggles with what he wants to do with his life, his strict upbringing means that there would be chaos if he tried to date Marinette, etc. He has lots of problems, and I'd really just rather see his character develop through those problems rather than just keep adding onto his ever growing misery pile. He's already a fantastic compelling character. Let's just develop him with what he has.

I mean, he's literally currently in an arc where he's processing his jealousy and discomfort over Ladybug relying on others more than him despite their partner status. That's a great storyline that literally just popped up. I'd rather just focus on that than keep adding onto his crying scene pile because he was never a real boy.

All that being said, if it does happen in the show, because I'm a heartless monster, I'll honestly just find it hilarious. He's so fuckin sad about his life and he's not even a real boy? Oh. Fantastic. Peak dark comedy. Good soup.

Red Eye Curse: Also called the 2p Disease or Madness Curse, the Red Eye Curse was a magical curse that plagued most of the 2p Universe. It drove people to madness by making them selfish, power-hungry and manipulative. It's also why the 2p Universe was known as the "Evil Side" while the 1p Universe was known as the "Good Side". It eventually disappeared 10 years as fast as it appeared)

Pearl and *Angel (He/they / He/They): The "New Gods". They run the universe and live in a castle near Minnrig. Though they may seem kind and thoughtful on the surface, they're actually not that good of people. I recommend not coming close to them.

Darling (She/Her): Adopted daughter of Pearl and Angel, she is known to have any magical powers. Not much is known about her since she rather hide in the Ancient Records within the castle

Star and Rose (He/Him, She/Her): Star and Rose are also adopted children of Pearl and Angel but unlike their older sister, they have magic. Star and Rose are probably more powerful than Pearl and Angel combined. Star is more adventurous and wants to learn about the magic in the world while Rose tries to live a more normal life, away from her godly heritage.

*Viktor and Sal (He/Him, They/Them) : Two 2ps that escaped to the 1p World, they live with Pearl and Angel as caretakers for Star and Rose. Star is the most attached to them, calling Sal "Mama" and Viktor "Dad".

Lewton (He/Him): The personification of Minnrig, Lewton is also the Detective of the town. He's also the husband of Bazarov (who we'll talk about if anyone asks about 2ps) and he's also responsible for the end of the Red Eye Curse.

*Zargon and Diablo (He/Him, She/Her): The Adopted children of Bazarov, sadly they were found around the time Bazarov had the Curse, they were taught since adoption to become soldier, and they're mainly representative of Heart (Zargon) and Mind (Diablo). Bazarov actually stole Diablo's heart for years, making her very heartless and making her a war criminal like her father while her brother always seemed to get the blame. After many years and while Lewton was working on saving the world, Zargon found Diablo's heart and they got the fuck out of there.

Deera (She/Her): The eldest sister of Zargon and Diablo, Deera kinda left her siblings for dead after the death of their birth parents. She instead headed to the Fantasy universe and kinda became a fucking villain in the stories, mainly manipulating anyone for whatever she wants.

Riley (She/Her): Another adopted child of Bazarov (He has a lot), She was raised while Zargon and Diablo were but sperate. She later on took over her father's place as General.

Abble (She/her): An (say it with me now) adopted child of Bazarov but with a twist: She's also Lewton's daughter. She actually has a nice upbringing unlike her other siblings because Bazarov was free of the curse when she was being raised. Her siblings are highly jealous of this.

Bean and Loki (He/Him, He/Him): Bean is a cat who radiated too much magic and can now turn human. Loki is a Mochi America but somehow, during hatching, gained more of a conscience than his other Mochi brethren. They're also married after many weird circumstances.

*Azreal (She/Her): To put it shortly, she's a bootleg Dr. Frankenstein. She has a never ending thirst for knowledge and uses such knowledge of other universes to bring people to life and to create life. And in one story, she kills Nevo......sooooooo-

*Mono (He/Him): During life, he was a simple manga artist with a wife and child but after horrible circumstances, he ends up dead at the hands of a gang. Azreal takes him and brings him back to life. Sadly, during the "bringing back to life" process, his soul is merged with a more evil soul, so now two personalities are contained in one body. Mono being the more awkward side and Parasite having absolutely no chill.

Pearl Song (Any Pronouns): Originally my very first cringy Marysue OC, we revamped her into being another of Azreal's projects. She has the power of the everything due to her past life and now uses that power in her current life to cause chaos with her favorite brother, Mono.

*Foalina and *Matthias (She/Her, He/Him): Another project by Azreal, they are two bunny twins that travel the world as performers. On stage, Foalina is seen as meak and weak while Matthias is more flirtatious and cunning. Off stage, they hate each other with a burning passion

*Caddy (She/They): Another project by Azreal, she is a mute traveler of the many universes. She is very excited soul that likes any good story.

*Shyane (She/Her): Azreal's first project, at first, Azreal saw her as a daughter and she saw Azreal as a mother but after time, their relationship became more strained and she became more of a servant than a daughter. She is very nurturing and caring.

*Demonic and *Ivan (She/Her, He/Him): Demonic is another project by Azreal which Azreal didn't just take a dead body and reanimate it, she actually created her. She was mainly used for experiments until she finally left. After many unfortunate events in her life, she gives birth to Ivan, her son. Ivan is the light of her life and just is an absolute sweetheart. We see more of them during Ages AU.

*Lilla (She/Her): A girl from the 1500's that left her home to become a Teutonic Knight so she didn't become a maid, after her entire crew is supposedly murdered and the enemy is after her, she starts working for a witch in the woods who eventually send her to the future to escape death sentence.

Amelia (Amy) (She/Her): Basically Amy Rose (from Sonic series) but she is an old interpretation I had of her in 2016 that she basically became my OC. Anyways, she also comes to our present and meets Lilla and after she helps her understand the world around her (which Amy sees as old technology), they actually fall in love and get married, yay!

Cosmo (She/Her): Daughter of Amy and Lilla

Amore (She/Her): Amy's past lover that basically gets in fights with Lilla a lot

Oh boy I didn't get asked about Ren and Stimpy in a long time ! Well I ysed to fangirl over him when I was a mess of hormones who found a rooster roboto hot lmao how pathetic I was. Ironically, as much as I loathe John K for what everyone knows him to have done but also to how he has been to one of my friends, the first seasons with John K directing the show and voicing him were the best because that's HIS voice and the animation and drawing style are much more pleasing to the eyes

Favorite line

The whooooole eerily calm threatening calm to Stimpy and Sven in the episode I mentionned earlier. Not only it is VERY creepy and with disturbing sounds and music and facial expressions how he is sooooooo eerily calm about the situation and engulfed with calm fury because his anger we know him for was at its MAXIMUM and couldn't be made of shoutings and yells because it would be physically impossible, it also was hilarious (I used to know it by heart "AND THEN... I WILL... GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT... YEAH... That's what I'm gonna do...") and showed how fucked up he actually is mentally and always on the verge to murder ; I'm still to this day certain he wasn't totally exagerating

I USED to adore Rempy. I found their care for each other adorable and all the clues and hints made sense for me, I loved how in the end of the day he loved him even if he were angry... but through time not only did he use him more than once (THE PECS EPISODE...), Adult Party Cartoon had Stimpy be canonly in love with Ren (Which I loved) but Ren canonly wanting hot chicks and be with him out of nothing better and actually LOVING using him as a punching ball and shit. That season was both physically and mentally disgusting if it were person and was enough to have me wish Stimpy went for somebody better. Fuck you Ren you deserve nobody
