unfortunate: heard a woman talk abt how she hates "woke" culture today (specifically when asked to explain what she means she said "like people who identify as cats or w/e") + a man who i think just didn't think his phrasing through said that trans ppl are more. vulgar? (he meant a very specific culture in our country that's common within general lgbt community but like esp trans women or cis gays who refer to themselves as women, tho not in an actual gender way), all this while i was already not doing Great as is

fortunate: after this happened i talked to my bestie in the group and vented out some of the pain that second part made me feel, told him i was trans and he didn't even flinch or ask questions, and then he asked me if i wanna join any future dnd campaign/oneshot he may run so the conversation became much more fun and it shook me out of my blegh mood + my other bestie in the group kept calling us beautiful and lost his shit (in a good way) over our acting together and talked abt how he loves us and was generally being so lovely, as he usually is bless his soul

ok IGNORING the... fact that i personally find the writing to be pretty uhhhh Not Amazing they DO give us the materials to make reeaally awesome leaps like... i cant stop thinking about the boys (tm)

the specialists.. so, the fairies arent human, because theyre fairies, so they cant be human. the witches are uhhh not really human, theyre still magical beings. 

but the specialists??? some of them have like pointy ears i think or i guess but other than that like theyre just??? boys. human boys with tools and shit. swords or whips or guns. like theyre just boys and i wanna TALK abt that bc like??? yes, sky is royal, but why would his engagement to diaspro be so like... like why would diaspro be so in love/infatuated with him and his status if he was JUST some human prince? presumably, considering there are lots of princes on Earth, there should be a bajillion of human princes across the multiple realms and worlds that fairies and witches reside in?? i dont ACTUALLY have a solid theory on anything but like.. ive gotta believe the specialists arent... all human. im thinking that red fountain is the place for gifted folks of nonmagical and magical background alike to like? focus on their trade?

like...timmy isnt REQUIRED to fight, hes not expected to be a particularly amazing combatant, but they know that hes good with tech and weaponry in terms of design, so they cater to those skills. im guessing that riven doesnt take all the same classes that brandon and sky do because his skills seem to be more.. subversive. whereas brandon and sky are your typical warrior class type. also i think helia didnt so much drop out as like. became a jack of all trades kind of dude. they admit that hes better than his teacher, and show how skilled and strong he is. 

(also i might insinuate that all the fairies are girls and all the witches are girls and that the specialists are all boys but... i think all those categories can include people of all genders probably??? like consider that alfea also caters to pixies, cant they cater to a gotdamn nongirl fairie. i think i mightve seen a masc presenting witch in some ep. anyway)

so okay okay okay i was initally just gonna write about brandon and sky so lets Get On That

so sky is a prince, brandon is his personal bodyguard and best friend (and boyfriend... eventually) and im just... thinking about how long they waited and rehearsed their roles when they decided to switch identities to keep sky safer from attack

because they were pretty flawless by the time the girls become friends with them/interested in them, but i can only imagine like... maybe sky gets a hang of it first, or maybe he doesnt, but theyre inseparable anyway, so one of them hears their actually name, taps the others shoulders or smth and that person can react like theyre reaction to their name and idk i love.. the montage of different people calling them out

ALSO i bet that even when bloom and stella find out like... its not like they can actually just throw away this whole plan like skys safety is still on the line (see season two) so like.. the girls are already used to callin them each others names so maybe the mixups happen more in private? like stella tells sky real loudly “DONT WORRY BRANDON ILL KEEP YOUR PRINCE SAFE” but then like when theyre sitting all alone in her room shes like ‘sky i love you’ and he just laughs and shes like shit i meant brandon omg im sorry

i figure itll be kinda like... excuse the metaphor but like when youre friends w someone whos trans but not out.
