I can't DRAW STAN OK!? LEAVE ME ALONE!!...
Anyway, I drew Stan meeting my Gravity Falls OC, Tacklebox Max, for the first time! He's trying to tell Max how much money he could make from boat fishing (something Max already knows) and the poor kid is just like "aha yeah ok! the dock is fine tho!" ...Max also has a fear of being on boats that he won't be revealing to this random old guy at this current point in time. 🫡

hiii
hello! these types of questions are great don’t worry! everyones different but yeah, let me tell you about my writing process :) (this is a long ass writing rant and hopefully it’s helpful)
so for headcanons tbh, i just write them. like. i sit down and write it all in one go and tbh not much thought goes into them there isnt really a plot it’s just notes practically so headcanons for me are not difficult at all. fics/oneshots are where things actually heat up.
so for my fics i do note form outlines. what this means is i have all the major things that have to happen already lined out. i put it on a word doc on half my screen and the fic on the other and there’s no plan on how to get to each note point but i know i have to get there somehow, but having basic goals makes it easier for me.
when it comes to fics there’s usually a brainstorming process. i have two wonderful amazing loves of my absolute life @hereforlukescruff and @glitterprincelu and usually it will start with me saying an idea and we all just kind of start shooting ideas and bouncing off of each other. this process can take hours. like. i remember when i came up with gang luke (penumbra) i was in class and we ended up chatting about it for 3 hours and coming up with shit. when the main brainstorm is done i plot it all out. i have a few ocd tendencies, one of which is linear stuff means a lot to me. like i can’t start a fic at the end. i need to start at the start. so i’ll plan as much as i can but sometimes i stop at the middle and i re-evaluate once i get there and have a better sense as to where the story is going.
for me, characters are huge. like. i have the plot points but characters drive everything else. so i’ll often have a sit down and reevaluate what has happened to them and how they’re feeling and see if it’s all making sense for them, but, because i brainstorm a lot, usually i don’t end up changing much. strong characters are key my dudes.
my biggest motivator to get to the end of the story is well, the characters. i love them so much and writing for them feels so comforting to me. LOVE YOUR CHARACTERS. but also. something ya’ll gotta understand about me is that i’ve been writing fan fiction for 8 years. i’ve probably spent an average of 2 hours a day (and that’s seriously low balling it) so thats 2x365=730x8=5840 hours that i’ve written and that’s probably too low to be accurate. so i’m a writer. i type fast as fuck and i’ve been doing this a while so writing comes very easy to me, ideas are constantly flowing. this is legit what im pursuing as a job so don’t be discouraged if you can’t write 10k in a day like I do because... well, i’ve had a fuck ton of practice. writing 10k in a day is pretty common for me i’d say, once i sit down with a oneshot i don’t want to leave until it’s done.
but. i also again, have a bit of an ocd thing and when it’s paired with anxiety, it makes it hard for me to stop. i need to get things done. to check stuff off my list. or i get bored. if i leave a fic for even a day or two, it’s likely i’m not gonna finish it. so for me, and i know this, its important to wait until i have a sufficient amount of time to bust something out and a plan makes it so easy because i don’t have to stop and ask myself “okay now what”
what more can i say about writing.... uh... characters. so important. dialogue. key.
like i’ll start a fic with a general idea about an OC but as the fic continues they grow and i really enjoy watching them grow. i think a good rule of thumb if you’re having troubles with this is immerse the story view point in the most solid character you have (i’ll give an example of this in a moment) and use their perspective and musings on a different character, like what they notice, to promote growth.
example of what i mean when i say this. i recently wrote prince cal and from the start, he was my strong character. Ostara was new, she’s ashton’s sister, she’s back for the first time in a while. the very first paragraph establishes that calum is taken aback by how much she’s changed. there’s still some similarities to how she was growing up and i weave that comfort of the known throughout the story (with things like chicken fights in the pool or musing about how they used to play hide and seek as kids) but from the start, Calum is knocked off his feet by how beautiful she’s gotten and that’s a very obvious symbol of change, not just outside but in. so as the fic continues calum notices things about ostara. for example. the second time i wrote she was wearing a print of some sort, calum and i both mutually realized, ‘huh. she likes prints i guess.’ because ostara is ostara, i dont control her, in my brain she’s her own person, she’s dictating whats happening and baby just likes prints. and calum notices which says something about him, but its also little details like that that bring these characters to life.
i mean. i don’t know how other people write characters. my characters are always alive to me. they have their own voice and knowing their reaction to things is second nature to me. but this can be attributed to the fact that i legit wrote fan fiction about actual characters (MCU, TVD, Teen Wolf, etc...) for 6 years and being able to step into those characters and do dialogue that seemed legit was the most important thing for me. so i have a FUCK TON of experience on characters. so once again, if its hard for you to step into your characters thats okay. maybe do those things where you have a fill in the blank sheet on whats their fav food, their fav colour, do they like summer or winter? etc....
i think there isnt one way to write. i think i’m blessed that i’ve ALWAYS been a writer. since i was like 4. you know in elementary when they made you write and they’d give you those little booklets and shit? other kids had like one or two at most but this whore was always on book number 6 or 7 like, im a writer. it’s what i am. it always has been what i am.
im also a multitasker. so most of my writing is done while watching shows. which means its a double whammy for me. like. im learning about characters and plot WHILE writing so... as you can see, i’m hard core as fuck about this shit.
my point is. my process is a process that i think is pretty particular to me. most people i know cant watch tv and write at the same time. most people don’t sit down and bust out 10k in one sitting. and thats fine. if you enjoy writing then do it. focus on what you can be doing better, this isnt a competition. at the end of the day, the only person you should be trying to be better than is the person you were yesterday, or last week, you know?
find people who are creatively inclined because holy shit it makes a huge difference. bouncing ideas off of supportive people is really important. without my friends, Birdie in Penumbra might be named Cherry, the Gang AU wouldn’t have an ending all planned out and ready to be written, and i would have missed out on so many hours of face time calls and back and fourth messages with two of the most important people in my life right now.
so lets break down what the fuck i’m even saying
-find supportive people (but it’s important you support them as well. if they’re gonna let you throw ideas at them and help you out and pump you up, reciprocate hoe)
-focus on yourself
-find what you’re good at. plots? characters? dialogue?
-find ways to strengthen the things you’re not so good at (character fill in sheets, plot planning, etc...)
-find what, at the end of the day, really works for you
-don’t put pressure on yourself. writing is for fun. it should be fun. and if it is fun, i think motivation will come easy? but i could be wrong, once again, i have an addictive personality and writing is a fix i need every day or i go insane.
yeah. if ya’ll have any more writing questions let me know. i love answering these because i think it’s so interesting to really look at the process :)

HP!headcanon - NCT Taeyong
|| WIZARDINGBIAS - where your fave bands live in hakho’s hogwarts au ||
Character Headcanons ↳ NCT Taeyong // Taeyong Skye // Hufflepuff
Tumblr media
okay my soft bebe this is my bias i’m not fucking ready
Taeyong the ultimate hufflepuff
lemme tell ya it’s the truest truth that exists
Tae doesn’t look like it, but he is a fucking smol bean i will fight you
my biasssssssss fuuuuuuuck
this is really long
more under the cut
He looks so cool and composed until you see him trip over his own two feet
bc uncoordinated as shit, he is, it true
and everyone at school is so intimidated by his large, dark eyes and his stoic expression when he’s walking down the hallways
werk it tae, werk it, give me sass, give me couture, yass
but all he really wants is friends, okay?
like
desperately
but
he’s so
shy shy shy
In my au, Taeyong’s dad is Jaejoong and he was raised by this single, rockstar parent that takes time off from touring to properly raise little tae all on his own alright?
so, imagine little tae, smaller than the rest of the kids his age
clinging on to his father’s neck like a lifeline
at the age of four
tryna make friends but he can’t
bc he’s so shy
and his dad doesn’t pressure him into making friends bc Tae has anxiety from a smol age
so Tae’s best friend is his dad
and he has separation issues, okay?
don’t imagine clingy, little bebe Tae looking up at his dad with large ass puppy eyes on the verge of fucking tears
don’t
it’s not good for your health or mine
and when Tae has to go to Hogwarts, he doesn’t show it bc he doesn’t wanna disappoint his dad but he’s freaking out over not seeing his dad every day anymore
so Jaejoong makes a promise on the condition that t-yong tries his best to get used to being appart
and Jaejoong takes up working as a music teacher at Hogwarts for Tae’s first year
this fucks me up bc i imagine tae crying in gratefulness bc his dad is honestly the best and such a softy and so much respect in those lil 11 y/o eyes
So for Tae’s first year,
Jaejoong is close by but not next to him 24/7 so lil Tae can get used to being apart
and when some nights get really bad, he knocks on his dad’s quarters in the middle of the night
holding onto his lil elephant plushy he’s had since he was two
and sleeps in his dad’s bed until he’s all better the next morning
in the beginning of the year, it happened a lot
but eventually, Taeyong started sleeping better through out the night
So by second year,
Taeyong’s able to attend Hogwarts without his dad being at the school
and lil tae comes out of his shell a little
lol also out of the closet
jk jk ;)
makes friends with the new transfer student Yuta Nakamoto
who’s in his Charms class but absolutely sucks at charms
but Tae’s really good at Charms
so Tae shows Yuta how to properly flick his wand
in his awkward lil way
and Yuta beams at him with his too big smile
which makes lil Tae blush and run away
but they become the best of friends
and eat together at each other’s tables
and they have sleepovers even though Yuta’s in Slytherin and that’s not really allowed
bc the dorm rooms are so close
and sometimes, when Tae feels bad and misses his dad but doesn’t want to bother the headmistress and ask to floo home
tae slides into the slytherin commonrooms
just like he slides into dem dms
and into Yuta’s bed
and at first yuta is so confused, squinting at him like ‘what the merlin are you doing?’
but tae is quiet and just lies there until yuta falls back asleep
and ever since, Tae uses Yuta as a safe haven when things are rough
tradition bro
my heart for these two boysssssss
In year 3
Taeyong starts getting more friends
Taeil, a housemate
thank fuck he has someone in his own house to talk to and not be 100% awkward with
and Hansol, a gryffindor
both are older
and they adore lil Taeyong
especially after they get past the stoic and harsh expression
they’re like ‘he’s the ultimate bean’
i agree
and taeyong smiles so wide every time they great each other in the hallways
bc he has friends
lovely friends
especially yuta
his bestest friend
but sometimes yuta has quidditch practice
and taeyong understands nothing about quidditch
but will spend his afternoons watching yuta practice whilst he does hw on the bleachers
until it gets too cold
then he goes to his common room to hang with taeil
sometimes he picks yuta up and gives him homemade chocomilk bc it’s freezing
and the too-large smile he gets is precious
Taeyong likes taking care of his friends
In year 4
taeyong falls in love with divinations
bc it’s so mysterious
and cool
and can pretty much predict the future
and he loves to drink tea and have cookies during class time
awesome
but potion fucking sucks
it’s getting so hard
no fucking dirty thoughts there, my friend, don’t
but Yuta is fucking pro at potions wtf
so they study together a lot
especially during the weekends
bc yuta hates mornings but if he doesn’t wake up early the day is ruined
so tae wakes him the fuck up during the weekends
and helps zombie yuta out of bed
one day Tae sees in Yuta’s teacup something odd
i literally wrote taecup first kpop has ruined me
at the end of year 4, the tea leaves prove themselves true
and Yuta is heartbroken by the fact that Hansol has transfered school
and Tae comforts the shit out of Yuta
with cuddles
and ice cream
and by distracting his best friend with homework
and he even goes as far to discuss quidditch strategies with yuta
he fucking hates quidditch
but for his friends? he’ll do anything
loyaltyyyyyyyy
smolll beeannnnn
nct caring umma
In the summer between year 4 and 5,
Yuta, the fucking snake, convinces Jaejoong that it would be an amazing idea to bleach Taeyong’s hair
and tae is like ‘uh????? hell no???’
bc he doesn’t like people touching his things
especially his hair
he’s sensitive af
but somehow
definitely not a promise abt a new stereo system by his dad
Jaejoong convinces his son to bleach it
and it turns out amazing
according to yuta at least
taeyong isn’t so sure tbh
he looks even more unapproachable
intimidating af
enough to freak tae out every time he sees himself in the mirror
but yuta’s like
“don’t worry, chicks’ll dig it”
taeyong isn’t really comforted by that idea
on the ride back to school, he promptly freaks out a lil bit after people stared at him wide eyed at Kings Cross
but tae’s come a far away from his 11 y/o tail-between-the-legs puppy
he’s a tail-between-the-legs doggo now
and can kinda take the looks he’s getting
every time Taeyong’s unsure of himself
yuta’s there to give him a too big smile
the feeeelllllssssssss
taeyong’s also appointed prefect
he’s so shocked
“me? keep order? what?”
but Yuta’s like
*healing smile*
and T-Yong does an amazing job at keeping others in line
it gives him confidence when people respect him
and when his housemates come to him for questions
especially underclassmen
they are so cute
“why are you so obsessed with the smol people?” Yuta asks
“i need to take care of them”
determination af
but he fucking stutters or drools when he has to scold upperclassmen
they’re so big
tae is still smol
he hasn’t gotten his major growth spurt yet
and he’s upset yuta had his over the summer
whilst tae stays smol
he will always be my smol bean
Taeyong decides to keep his hair tho
even in 6th year
bc he accepts that he looks scary af
bc he’s surer of himself and not as shy
shy shy shy
it might also be bc a certain gryffindor told him it looks cool
tae lowkey obsesses over this lil gryffindor
thats two years younger than him
but so adorable
he finds out the gryffindor’s name is jaehyun
obvs not from yuta bc yuta is a snake and would tease him
but from a lil hufflepuff bebe he helps out with charms homework in exchange for this crucial information
this gryffindor likes quidditch
so tae tries to casually throw in his impressive quidditch knowledge to talk to jaehyun
remember the summer tae spent comforting yuta?
yea that wasn’t too bad now that tae thinks abt it
except
jaehyun is kinda into this other dude in slytherin
and no matter what tae does
jaehyun doesn’t look at him like he looks at doyoung
so tae sulks
aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
he probs cries too
so emotional
so soft
so smol
and finally yuta figures out that tae has a serious crush
his first serious crush
Yuta’s all like
“my lil bun”
same yuta same
BUT
HE SUDDENLY GETS HIS GROWTH SPURT
LIKE
IN THE SPAN OF TWO MONTHS HE’S GROWN TO 175CM
which isn’t all that much considering some of the other people in his year
cough johnny cough
but he’s so happy abt that so who cares
taeil’s graduation comes
and he cries
like the baby he is
and clutches onto taeil’s robes hard enough to lift the short older boy up
he’s not used to being so big
and almost crushes taeil with his new found strength
yuta thinks he’s weird
Year 7
oh no fuck
it’s exam time
Tae isn’t too stressed
he’s not really planning on doing anything particularly hard
but he likes the idea of cooking
and opening his own lil restaurant or something
but fuck potions
potions is fucking him the fuck over and even with yuta’s expert potions skills
he’s almost failing
also, fuck
he’s elected HeAD BOY
more like boiiiiiiiii
he’s so honoured
and even though he didn’t really want it
he cries during his speech
bc “thank you so much for trusting me, everyone”
TTTT-TTTT
and he takes care of everyone 1000000000000%
so sweet
such mommy
but this year gets better
bc Jaehyun notices him
and stuff happens
especially after Tae
ever the klutz
accidentally spills fruit punch all over Jaehyun over the christmas break
(he’s staying over bc he feels the responsibility of overseeing the other hufflepuff’s who are staying that they have a nice and cozy christmas too
he organises a gd party and secret santa and games and gives everyone a present and a stocking and gives a long ass speech about love and serenity and shit)
but jaehyun is so nice and laughs it off
but tae helps the gryffindor wash out the stains in the bathroom
and they just click
finally
and Tae goes to every single one of Jaehyun’s games
and cheers for Jaehyun with banners and hats and fireworks
even when he’s facing Yuta
but not when he’s going against Hufflepuff
bc as head boy
tae’s gotta support his family bruv
but he always wears a lil badge with Jaehyun’s jersey number during those games
shit gets serious when Tae suddenly,
like grown ass seventeen year old tae,
climbs into Yuta’s bed in the middle of the night
like he used to do in second year
and Yuta’s so fucking confused
cuz they don’t do impromptu sleep overs anymore
(there was in incident)
but Tae is freeaaaking ouuuttt
“What the fuck, bro?”
“Bro.”
“What?”
“Jaehyun-”
“What happened?”
Yuta’s suddenly all defensive and is in total war mode
bc no one hurts his bebe T-Yong
except
“Jaehyun just kissed me.”
and cue yuta’s too-big-smile
bc tae is freaking out over his first ever kiss
and this is amazing
and Yuta is so excited and pulls taeyong into the biggest cuddle ever
“MY SMOL BEAN HAS GROWN UP”
“i’m older than you”
“shh”
this is too cute my heart hurts
maybe i’ll do a separate post on jae and tae’s relationship in depth if people want
and Tae’s never been happier
even though he barely passes his potions N.E.W.T.’s
and graduation is so emotional
his father comes
and performs his latest rock song
bc he’s fucking embarrassing
but taeyong cries
he’s so touched
and yuta also cries
which makes tae cry harder
and younger hufflepuff’s that he’s taken care of cry
they also give him flowers
and good luck on his internship at the hottest wizarding restaurant in London
taeyong sobs
ugly and snotty
and jaehyun just laughs at him so much
and they go all go to Tae’s childhood hosue
and Jaejoong and tae cook for everyone
and it’s so different from all the meals with just him and his dad
he has so many friends
a large, extended family
and so much love
and he cries again chopping the onions
and jaehyun comes to snake his arms around his boyfriend’s waist
“are you crying because you’re t-yongie or because of the onions?”
“i’m t-yongie” tae sobs
it’s too cute
my heart
and jaehyun laughs at this adorable lil baby
same jaehyun same
I’m emotional
More stuff will probably come later on but this was basically an overview of Taeyong’s life at hogwarts. Feel free to stop by my ask to ask for more :) it can be about anything (hint jaehyun and taeyong’s relationship, or maybe yuta and taeyong moments, or headcanons for other members, whatever you’d like :)))))) )

Why Brom is the best Armored Unit in Radiant Dawn
First off, “best armored unit” is not the most auspicious title.  Its pretty rare for a Fire Emblem game to have worthwhile armor knights.  As a general rule, mounted units and fliers reach the enemies first and get the bulk of the kills/exp/functionality, unarmored foot units come next and get the scraps, and armor knights are left with the crumbs.  Radiant Dawn is not an exception in this regard, for the most part.  At least in Radiant Dawn there do exist chapters where your armor knights are useful because of “scenario” style chapters and occasional limited units to choose from. So instead of comparing the armors to each other in terms of stats and raw number of chapters they are available in, I think its more important to look at how many chapters they are in where they can contribute meaningfully and how much they do contribute, starting with the man of the hour:
Brom:
Brom has part 2.  I could probably stop typing right here but I dont know when to quit so I will continue.  2-1 has only Brom, Nephenee, and Heather.  Heather cant do much to most of the enemies on any difficulty, Nephenee cant really touch the enemy armors, including the boss, and on hard I dont even think she can do enough damage to feasibly take him on so that makes Brom your only option for the boss, and the best option to take on most enemies. That right there would be enough for me to call Brom the best armor in the game, because being the best unit in one chapter (and on hard being the only unit capable of beating the chapter)>being available but not worth using in a dozen others.  But it doesnt end there, in 2-2 hes one of the most capable and certainly tankiest fighters and you will probably have him leading the march through the dark cave, and you especially will on the turns where Mordecai is untransformed.  Lucia can get more kills but you have to be a bit cautious since a few lances or lucky other hits will put her down.  Brom gets to actually be a tank and do it well in the situation where it makes the most sense to have a tank (in cramped fog of war.)  Last, hes got 2-E.  Now, theres lots of ways to cheese this map as well as take it head-on, but even the cheesy strats involve blocking one of the two sides with Brom.  So hes not as crucial as in the other two chapters, but he still is absolutely contributing.
Meg:
Poor Meg.  Shes got horrible bases, growths that clash with her class caps, and is stuck in the dawn brigade where shes competing with too many other growth units with too few exp to spread between them.  The chapters where youd want an armor, 3-6, 3-12 and 3-13, dont really beg for you to train her since Nolan, Jill and even Aran if you are dying for a tank all get you through those chapters more easily (and shell probably not have the defense to really tank 3-6).  I probably didnt even need to write this part, we all know ultimately unimpressive Meg’s combat capabilities are, even if it can be a lot of fun to use her for novelty’s sake.
Tauroneo:
Brom has 3 chapters he can really contribute in, while Tauroneo has only 2*, yet one of those chapters is 3-13, which for many is the hardest chapter in the game.   That being said, like most defense chapters its very easy to beat it cheaply, so its hard for me to rate Tauroneo all that highly just for this chapter.  But even if you are cheesing it you will probably want to use Tauroneo, so I would consider him contributing as much in 3-13 as Brom in 2-E, even if thats perhaps a bit too generous considering other units can be trained up to plug important gaps whereas Brom is in a more preset role so hes always going to be necessary for a gap or 2.  In his only other chapter, 3-12, he unfortunately starts far on the left when youd want him on the right, and it takes a few turns for him to join the fight, although when hes there he kicks ass. But in any case, 3-12 can be beaten pretty much entirely by the ally units so any contributions are not that impressive.
*he can also contribute in the first map of 1-6, but you really want to be training Nolan and Jill and any other DB baby in part 1 so its a bit of a waste to let him get these easy kills, especially when its not that hard to beat the chapter without him.
Gatrie:
Finally, we have Gatrie.  Hes the guy that I have little doubt gamefaqs guides and tierers in general will call the best armor knight in the game.  And before I get to the real meat of Gatrie’s usefulness by my standards, I feel I must make a brief aside to address the general idea of usefulness and why Gatrie is cited as better than Brom, which is to say raw availability, bases and growths and starting level, and usable weapons/rank.  Brom actually has one chapter of availability more than Gatrie, but for the most part they are nearly the same.  Brom joins at level 2 and Gatrie 10, but in my experience using both sensibly and not giving either of them favoritism or anti-favoritism by the time they are in a party together Brom is close to level 10 and Gatrie to 13-15, so its not a big difference there, and if you look at their average stats on SF youll see its really not a big difference in stats at those levels, or indeed at any level. The only important stats Gatrie excels over Brom in is speed and strength, and its only by a point or two, so they are both doubling or not doubling or getting doubled by pretty much the exact same enemies.   And in actual damage Brom will be outperforming Gatrie because hes using axes, which more than make up for the couple points of str to outperform Gatrie with his weaker lances.  When taking all that into account I dont see either of them being significantly better than the other in a statoff, and since I still am saying that “how useful are they in the chapters where its worth using them?” is much more important than “how useful would they be if I forced myself to use them?” lets put this aside and go back to where Gatrie is uniquely useful.
So what does Gatrie do that only Gatrie can do? Well, hes got 2 chapters, 3-P and 3-1.  In 3-1 Gatrie is fantastic.  Its a small fog of war map with chokepoints and a time limit.  Gatrie excels at heading up the left path through the grass towards the boss, especially with Shinon at his back shooting from behind and through the fence, giving the enemies the old thunder and lightning maneuver while the more mobile members of the GM sweep around to clear out the rest of the map.  Its a bit like Brom’s contributions in 2-2 but I would say slightly better.  In 2-2 Brom is great, but you could potentially take the dark very slowly with just Lucia or any other character of your choosing if you desired, but in 3-1 theres a time limit so its all hands on deck, everyone has to help and Gatrie has a convenient spot he excels at.  Sadly, 3-P is not nearly as good for Gatrie.  Its textbook armor knight curse map design.  The enemies are all on one path, your more mobile units, in this case everyone else, will reach and kill enemies before Gatrie arrives.  He might as well not even exist.
And speaking of might as well not even existing; the rest of the game.  From 3-3 onward Brom and Gatrie have identical availability, and its really not worth using either of them.  Just like 3-P, time and time again the poor armors just cant reach fighting before its over.  3-5 is a defense chapter where either of them might contribute but in the entire series 3-5 is perhaps the easiest defense chapter to play offensively, so thats not really an opportunity for them to be useful.  Plenty of chapters have reinforcements from behind that they could potentially fight, but to the question “why not instead of using armors just keep training all high movement units who can either finish chapters before reinforcements become an issue or run back and kill reinforcements and return to the main fight quickly” there is no objective answer in favor of armor knights.  If you were to ask yourself “I am determined to use one of the armor knights in every single chapter despite the fact that using no armor knight would be a better choice, so which one should I choose?” The answer might be Gatrie or it might be too close to call.  If you were to ask yourself the much more practical question “which units should I use?” the answer in regards to this subject at least, is, “however many deployment slots you have, Brom and Gatrie are equally unworthy of filling them.”  There are always better units to choose from than either of them.  They are comrades in obsolescence.
The Very Short Version:
When it comes to a class thats overall not worth using like Armors in a game with as strange of a structure as Radiant Dawn, comparing their usefulness is about looking at where each of them is actually worth using and how well they perform.  Meg has nothing, Tauroneo has two chapters where hes good, Gatrie has one chapter where hes great, and Brom has one chapter where hes good, one where hes great, and one where hes indispensable.
