what the fuck is up with my moms side of the family and narrowly escaping mass murder
#3 times. that i know of#great grandfather: he used to work at nichiro (seafood/fishing company) in hokkaido#and he quit that job...shortly before an incident where russian pirates took over the ship and killed all the crew#if he were still working there he would have died at 40#grandmother: she was born and raised in niigata and was in elementary school at the end of wwii#niigata was one of the planned nuclear bomb drop sites. but it got cancelled bc it was cloudy that day#ALSO grandmother: she would have been at the site of the tokyo subway sarin attack if she wasnt late to work that day#i knew about the last one. i found out about the other two TODAY.#- blue
