Things I wholeheartedly believe exist in the same universe as Batman (and by extension all of DC):
Scooby-Doo (and the hex girls)
The Powerpuff Girls
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Gorillaz
Thank you

Since I’ve had some time for people to see my last few reblogs. Last night since playing Injustice 2...I had this idea. But I went to bed early by mistake. But it was a good sleep anyway...
The idea was what if the Powerpuff Girls were in Injustice 2 as guest characters? Similar in vain of how the TMNT were...but it’s my reimagining of the PPG as I’ve rambled about them before.
Honestly, I feel like I shouldn’t touch capeshit stuff maybe. And that I have wondered of including Archie in Injustice 2. But I feel it wouldn’t mess well. Yet...the Powerpuff Girls...but my versions of them...as guest characters in the Injustice universe? This gives me an excuse to write some dialogue.
I’ve thought about this and funny stuff like, “Buttercup is a Zack Snyder fan!” and whatever else...time to write this shit. Some of it...seems heartbreaking, mainly I feel with Buttercup or just...I thought more for her. And the heartbreaking idea of Buttercup not only liking characters like Spawn and Batman. But actually secretly admiring the character of Superman. Since the DC universe is likely a fictional piece of media in her world. And the world of Injustice is pretty much a fucked up place.
I will mention DC did some Powerpuff Girls comics for the original show. And even some Cartoon Network crossovers...so...this is almost fitting ha!
So this took a bit, like maybe an hour or nearly two. I forgot. I feel like some of these could be better. I didn’t do much of Bubbles. But I feel like with your pieces of dialogue and especially the final one. It’s like a perfect final burn to me personally.
Buttercup: You were one of my heroes growing up.
Superman: Now I bring justice.
Buttercup: Was killing Billy Baston justice?
-
Buttercup: I’m fine that you killed Joker. But you went too far after that.
Superman: The world’s changed since Metropolis.
Buttercup: That doesn’t give you an excuse to become what you are.
-
Buttercup: I try to keep myself from becoming someone like you.
Superman: Why’s that?
Buttercup: Losing control.
-
Buttercup: Killing Aquaman isn’t gonna bring your dad back.
Black Manta: Want me to tell you that if I murder Utonium and Bellum?
Buttercup:...I’m gonna give you brain damage to make sure you don’t remember anything.
-
Blossom: You’re the reason why Superman became what he is?
Wonder Woman: You know nothing child.
Blossom: Who’s the one that warped his mind after what Joker did to him?
-
Blossom: I actually looked up to you as a kid.
Wonder Woman: What happened then?
Blossom: You betrayed what you stood for.
-
Bubbles: So me and my sisters are probably Titans material?
Starfire: After this audition, wanna get pizza and talk about it.
Bubbles: Oh yes please.
-
Bubbles: So Beastboy could’ve become any animal?
Starfire: Any, why are you asking?
Bubbles: Even a puppy?
-
Blossom: Are you sure you’re not a different version of Mojo Jojo?
Grodd: Who is this Mojo you speak of?
Blossom: Just another super smart evil ape. But he’s smaller than you.
-
Buttercup: So I hear you have some anger issues too.
Raphael: That’s cus I fight angry.
Buttercup: Ah, I can relate honestly.
-
Raphael: Anger management isn’t my strong suit.
Buttercup: I’m the same. Nearly killed a guy who took hostages at school.
Raphael:...well that’s something.
-
Blossom: Do you know of a guy named HIM?
Hellboy: Why you asking?
Blossom: He looks like he came out of Hell like you.
-
Blossom: Did Brainiac collect you too?
Leonardo: Yep. You too.
Blossom: Seems like he’s collecting everybody.
-
Hellboy: I’m not gonna cut you slack if we fight.
Buttercup: I just wanna prove myself.
Hellboy: I think you’ve proven yourself already.
-
Hellboy: You got the devil inside you kid.
Buttercup: I try to control. Thank God for the professor.
Hellboy: Utonium sounds like a swell dad honestly.
-
Blossom: So you’re the brains out of your brothers?
Donatello: Yep, pretty much.
Blossom: At least you’re not the leader. That would be exhausting.
-
Buttercup: So you like fighting games?
Michelangelo: Yeah, wanna play some after this?
Buttercup: Yes! Yes I would!
-
Bubbles: So you like pizza as well?
Michelangelo: Wanna get some after I beat you?
Bubbles: Oh don’t worry Mikey. I think you’ll be paying for it after this.
-
Blossom: Why do I feel like you’re a mix of Sedusa and HIM.
Enchantress: Me and HIM have met before.
Blossom: Oh God, that’s worse to even know.
-
Blossom: I’ve dealt with a woman like you before?
Poison Ivy: I’d like to meet this woman.
Blossom: I’d hate it if you and Sedusa met.
-
Bubbles: What is your problem?
Robin: Let’s this straight, I’m better than you and your sisters combined.
Bubbles: And I thought Morbucks was egotistical.
-
Bubbles: I really don’t want to hurt you.
Black Manta: You’re nothing but a weak, and altruistic young girl.
Bubbles: You really don’t know who you’re fighting, do you?
-
Scarecrow: You know your entire family hates you.
Buttercup: No. They don’t.
Scarecrow: Awww, I touched a nerve there, didn’t I?
-
Buttercup: You know nothing about my family.
Scarecrow: I know you’re scared of becoming like Superman.
Buttercup: You’re really getting on my nerves Scarecrow.
-
Scarecrow: Everyone has something to lose.
Bubbles: What makes you say that?
Scarecrow: What happens to the Powerpuff Girls if their mommy and daddy are gone?
-
Scarecrow: You hate it when your sisters fight, don’t you?
Bubbles: Yeah...it hurts.
Scarecrow: What if they both killed each other?
-
Blossom: Your fear schtick doesn’t work on me.
Scarecrow: How about taking Utonium away from you girls?
Blossom: Don’t you dare touch him.
-
Blossom: Wanna race me and my sisters?
Flash: You sure I won’t be too fast for you three?
Blossom: Oh trust me. You should see us when we play tag.
-
Blossom: Me and my sisters are here to help the Insurgency.
Batman: Then prove it to me.
Blossom: Have you’ve seen how we fight?
-
Sub Zero: Do not ruled by your passions.
Buttercup: So I don’t end up like Scorpion?
Sub Zero: Exactly.
-
Bubbles: Don’t you dare justify what you’ve done.
Aquaman: What I do, I do for Atlantis.
Bubbles: Don’t make me become friends with the Trench Queen.
-
Blossom: What keeps you going even after everything?
Supergirl: Hope. That’s what it is.
Blossom: Finally, a hero who hasn’t gone insane.
-
Bubbles: You’re no hero, not anymore.
Wonder Woman: You don’t know how complex the world is.
Bubbles: Ms. Keane and Ms. Bellum are real heroes than you’ll ever be anymore.

Troll Call/Hiveswap Headcanon Voices because fuck you, you don’t control my cringiness, and also act 2 is coming up.
OTS means Open To Suggestions.
Xefros: Zach Callison as Steven Universe. I mean come ON, people. Yes, Justin Roiland can do his Morty thing if you want, but let’s not kid ourselves here, Zach can sound equally apologetic and timid and more pleasant to the ears.
Dammek: We’ve yet to meet him, but I’m putting Steven Yeun as a provisional first choice.
Trizza: Guys, we need to stop making every water alien girl Nicki Minaj. We need a valley girl accent for this voice. Maybe whoever voices Weiss from RWBY? One of the flower scouts from Camp Camp? Mermista, but happier? This one is open to suggestions until we get more insight into her character.
Tyzias: Ok I also have to talk about Daraya. See the thing is, although it would be a great pun, I think Daria’s voice should go to Tyzias. While Daria is also a jaded teen with a green jacket she is a lot more composed than Daraya and sounds a lot more mature and tired. So she just needs to slur the w and m sounds.
Zebede: Look guys, I get that we all think Whinnie the Pooh when we see him, but let’s bee more realistic. The guy who voices Mikey in Rise of the TMNT? We could use that childlike enthusiasm.
Mallek: There are so many options for him. First of course is Rami Malek, but MAYBE if Jeremy Shada makes his voice more chill we’ll have something going on here. Steven Yeun can also try out, but I’m gonna need him to bring something a little different from his Keith voice. Then again, we always have Childish Gambino and his Marshal Lee voice, and he could probably do a rap out of Mallek’s theme song.
Daraya: Probably Mermista, but with more emotional range. OTS.
Barzum & Bazlil: If possible I’d prefer two voice actors instead of one doing double duty. OTS.
Nikhee: Ok, so we got 3 buff over the top girls who all could be voiced by the same person, you know who I’m taking about. But, compromises need to be made, else we would be overworking a single voice actress and soil the variety in this completely fictional casting. So I’ll have Lani Minella pick up the slack here.
Chahut: I wonder if Kimberly Brooks can make a high, “very slow, methodical genteel louisiana accent” Jasper and make it sound different enough from regular Jasper so she can also do Konyll.
Diemen: There’s and in between Ron Stoppable, Beast Boy, and Lego Robin that we need to get to for his character. I’m leaving it up to you to chose. OTS.
Skylla: Applejack. Yeah, obvious choice, technically any woman with southern accent works, yadda yadda, but I like applejack because she sounds particularly mature to me, and Skylla is in her very late teens.
Folykl: Michaela Dietz aka. Amethyst.
Kuprum: Kuprum may not be blue or a remake character, but Ben Schwartz has kinda already settled his reputation as the meme voice actor, so he might as well try out with 4chan humor.
Charun: If anyone knows a nonbinary v.a. that can do this sort of slow dialogue and fit the character I’m all ears. OTS.
Amisia: I may need a bit more insight into her reel, but for the moment Merit Leighton, the voice of Frosta from She-ra and Queen Aanya from The Dragon Prince.
Polypa: Ashly Burch.
Tegiri: He probably sounds like what Mamoru Miyano would sound like if he could speak proper english. Since that’s not gonna happen tho, I’m provisionally putting Todd Haberkorn in charge, he’ll probably figure something out.
Tirona: Any gremlin sounding little girl can work, but I’m gonna go with Fink from OK KO because they have the same shit eating grin.
Lynera: Does anyone know if there’s a v.a. that can imitate Taylor Swift but also pull off this kind of over the top performance while managing to lower it down for the more nuanced scenes? Does anyone know if Taylor Swift can voice act? OTS.
Elwurd: You know I used to headcanon Vriska as Olivia Olson, but I always wondered if she would be able to make the high pitch screeches Vriska makes when she gets frustrated. Elwurd however, she could do asleep.
Ghalek: There’s only 2 valid options for this guy: Wheatley and whoever voices Iida in the bnha dub. Ultimately tho, I’d choose the first because Stephen Merchant has prooved he can talk fast, he just needs to tone the emotion down a little.
Vikare: This one is OTS, but if you suggest whoever you headcanon as Jake English you’re out. Please, expand your imagination, people.
Boldir: Charlene Yi. She has managed to prove she has some range between voicing all the Rubies in su and Chloe in wbb, it should be interesting to hear her in a more, let’s say, complex role, and her voice is naturally soft and low. I have no idea who is this mystery squirrel or how they sound like.
Cirava: Pidge from vld, but you know, high.
Tagora: Please don’t do the lazy suggestion of the late Stefan Karl Stefansson (RIP). We need to put our minds together to find someone who can do this slimy bastard justice. OTS.
Ardata: I’m gonna trust Kari Wahlgren has enough range to make an ojou-sama laugh.
Marvus: Oof, this is going to be a hard one. This role is very specific, who do we know that can do sexy and manipulative but also extremely fuckboy-ish himbo who is also smarter than everyone else? Imagine telling someone who hasn’t read his dialouge to come up with a voice based on that description alone. OTS.
Fozzer: Not sure of how I’d feel hearing Patrick Star saying the words Dialectic Materialism. Not sure if I ever heard Patrick Star say a line with half the pep Fozzer actually has in his dialogue. OTS.
Stelsa: Amy Sedaris, who has experience acting as both a manager and a lawyer, she just need to be louder.
Wanshi: Blossom from ppg. The original one.
Bronya: For some reason all I can think about is Hynden Walch, but I’m gonna need a slightly more mature voice than her usual sweet cadence.
Chixie: Cristina Vee. Let us hope she can rap.
Zebruh: I don’t want to doom anyone into this role, but someone has to cover for it so sorry whoever voices Kevin in Steven Universe, we value your sacrifice.
Azdaja: You know what? Let’s leave Bryce Papenbrook to this one. To my knowledge he’s never made a cocky anime rival before, but he did Eren and Kirito, which is basically the same.
Konyll: Jasper, but emphasizes every last word on a sentence, DUH.
Karako: This should be easy and it somehow isn’t. I mean I GUESS Tara Strong could do something, since she’s basically the voice acting world’s jack of all trades. Still, OTS.
Marsti: I think Linda Cardellini can hit her particular notes of sourness and tenderness. Her voice is deep in just the right way.
Lanque: If anyone knows a trans v.a. who can do both asshole bishounen and pure softboy bishounen I’m all ears. OTS.
Remele: It’s not just about someone doing a silly faux european accent, we need someone with this specific kind of energy. OTS.

I’m not sure what the problem is with the redesigns IMO. Personally the originals were made by Mattel to fit replecant toy molds they could use for multiple uses. All the female characters had the exact same figure. Even the male characters in She-Ra were copies of toy molds from He-Man. In the remake the mage characters are weak or chubby, the tough characters are buff and the agile characters are slim. The characters have more to them than just the glamor model look. Which isn’t a bad thing, but instead of doing that they went another route with the design. I hate when they just reuse the old design and add nothing to the look. Ex: PPG 2017. But rather change the designs and add a deeper backstory to the characters Ex: Thundercats 2011. The He-Man and She-Ra cartoons (as goofy and campy as they are. I love old bows design and would love to cosplay that in the future.) were just a commercial for toys.
As for the animation and look changes I feel a lot of things that happened to the She-Ra cartoon reminds me of how people were apprehensive of how people felt about the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon. The changes made in Titans 03, like making it anime inspired and changing the characters looks from the original comics were not always warmly accepted.
Though I say this as someone who didn’t grow up with the old She-Ra cartoon. But I feel if something can be improved or add new properties to something that was built as a cash grab originally then I accept it as trying. The new TMNT design rubbed me the wrong way at first until I learned it was built off the fact that they wanted there body types to match their personalities and fighting style and it actually make Leonardo unique to the other turtles. So I give these designs props for actually having some thought put into them other than fight easy to reuse toy molds.
What do u think of the new She-Ra designs?
Just from a design perspective, I guess the overall aesthetic just seems clumsily mishmashed together and begs the question ‘why didn’t they just make their own show with new characters if they were going to drastically change the source so much’ imo

Powerpuff Girls 2016 REVIEW: Part 3
Part Six: Dank Memes, Bra! So here we are, we're finally talking about the elephant in the room. It is time to talk about one of the biggest complaints about the 2016 Powerpuff Girl reboot, as a whole, the use of memes and internet references as a source of humor. If you are reading this and are somehow unaware, the new reboot has had several jokes referencing memes and internet slang in the show. For example in the episode "Painbow" we get Bubbles saying "OMG, Yaass!" and "I can't even!" as well as a scene Blossom and Buttercup twerking after they where mind controlled to party with a talking panda bear that lived in the clouds above Townsville. (Okay, now that I say that out loud that episode was really weird...) Also in the episode "Tiara Trouble" we have Bubbles getting mad at her sisters and yelling "No me Gusta!" at the end of her rant. There has also been a clip of an upcoming episode featuring Bubbles creating a "Mojo Meme Generator." So, how has the internet reacted to the reboots use of memes and internet related humors? Not well, as you could of probably guessed. Almost every online review uses either the "No Me Gusta" or the twerking as part of there thumbnail, with people acting like this show is nothing more than an endless barrage of internet slang that is trying to be "hip with da kids, bra". Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there complaints aren't at least somewhat warranted, as these memes are definitely used more frequently than in most other shows, but I personally feel that people might be exaggerating the extent of these jokes. If you look through all the episodes and combine all the instances of meme-ery, it honestly isn't that much, like combined all the memes probably take up less that forty seconds from the entire series thus far. Now I get why people would be against memes in a show like this, as it does seem pandering and will age the show, but what I don't get is why THIS show gets the shaft for using internet and meme jokes when other cartoons get off scot-free free. Gumball had an entire episode devoted to Gumball and Darwin watching Youtube clips, where they parody Rickrolling and the Ice Bucket Challenge. Nobody talks about how Uncle Grandpa had an entire episode dedicated to "Duck Lips." We Bare Bears uses internet jokes in almost every episode, and made a "I like turtles." joke, IN 2016! Now I honestly don't really have a problem with meme references in cartoons (I think the "I like turtles" joke was actually really, really funny.) But it seems unfair to target Powerpuff Girls for this when all these other Cartoon Network shows do the same thing. Now you could argue that part of the problem is that when PPG 2016 uses memes, it's just not funny. You could also argue that Gumball and We Bare Bears reference internet trends while Powerpuff Girls does specific memes, and thus isn't as timeless. I would agree with this, as I feel like Powerpuff Girls is nowhere near as clever with it's internet jokes as something like We Bare Bear's is. The only reason I like the Powerpuff Girls meme jokes is because I like how cringe it is, and if where looking at the jokes in an unironic sense there not really that good, I mean Bubbles just randomly shouts "No Me Gusta." I won't argue that at all. You could also make the argument that the old Powerpuff Girls was a timeless show, and thus this show should try to be timeless too. I do agree with that too..For the most part. The show was timeless, but...do You remember "Powerpuff Girls Rule?" It was the 10th anniversary special made by Craig McCracken himself had a reference to "Surprised Chipmunk" in it. Heck Craig McCracken even referenced the He-Man "Fabulous Secret Powers" meme in the Wander Over Yonder episode "The Cartoon." Now if the memes are still a problem for you, I get it. I can see how it could appear desperate or running the timeless quality, or just plain unfunny. I just personally don't mind it that much, because other cartoons do the same thing, and all together the memes don't even account for a minute of the actual show. I just feel it's a little unfair to take a few clips and say that that's what the entire show is, when really it's a pretty small percent. But if you still have a problem with the memes that's fine, I don't think your opinions are wrong or anything stupid like that, it's just my personal perspective. Point Seven: Teen Titans Go! Crossover So it's been recently announcing this July there is going to be a Teen Titans Go! Crossover with the 2016 Powerpuff Girls. This has sparked outrage among the internet (which is pretty much the internet default opinion of the reboot at this point, all things considered.) Now what is my take on this? Well...I Depends on if it's really a "crossover?" Now that may sound really weird to some people, but please here me out. Teen Titans Go! Has done stuff like this before, They had a crossover with the Young Justice team in the episode "Let's Get Serious" and a crossover with the TMNT in the episode "Truth, Justice, and What" Oh wait...I'm Sorry, it wasn't the TMNT, it was the Super Cool Youngish Kung-Fu Turtle Dudes, how could I mess that up. Anyway, neither of those crossover featured anybody who worked on those other series, except for the voices actors. Not only that, but those crossovers didn't really even have the guest stars in important roles, they where really just cameos, with only the character that was voiced by a TTG cast member actually talking, and only getting a couple lines at that. I suspect that the Teen Titans Go! Crossover will be something like that. I.E. It will be created by the Teen Titans Go! Crew, without any involvement or possibly permission from any of the Powerpuff Girls writers or crew member,  and have the Powerpuff Girls show up for like, a minute and a half at most, only have Bubbles say any of the lines (because Tara Strong also voiced Raven) and then the rest of the episode being about the Teen Titans characters doing something unrelated. The plot will most likely be about people hating reboots, and the show claiming that people only hate TTG and PPG because there reboots and not for any legitimate complaints because, well that's kinda what Teen Titans Go! Does. Now I don't know this for sure, but I'm calling this now! If this isn't the case, if the crossover has writers from BOTH series, and is a real super hero team up type thing, than yeah, people can complain about this episode all they want, but If I know TTG (and trust me, I could probably talk about that show for even longer than I've talked about this show) that would be my guess on how this crossover will most likely go down. If it does go down the way I described that I really don't think it's fair to blame the Powerpuff Girl Reboot for an episode made by other writers at another studio just because they used their characters. But we will have to wait until July to find out for sure, so let us move on. Point Eight: Final Thoughts Now I'm most likely bias when it comes to the Powerpuff Girl reboot. When it was first announced I was hesitant, but as time went on I became excited. Then when I saw everyone online hate the show prior to it coming out I wanted to like it even more, out of spite. I felt like nobody was giving the show a chance, and so I wanted to be that person to give it a chance. I wanted the show to be great, partially to prove all those people wrong but also because I love the original Powerpuff Girls! I grew up with that show, and I loved it! The idea of Powerpuff Girls becoming a franchise, in the same vein as Batman and the Ninja Turtles got me really excited. If this show took off there could be a new Powerpuff Girl cartoon ever decade, constantly evolving, and adding elements onto each other. Becoming a part of the American pop culture landscape, and I'm still hoping that that can happen, we've just gotten a rocky start. (But still, I mean the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show after the 80's one was the live action one, and that franchise recovered.) I don't want to come off as a blind fanboy, as I do have problems with this new series. I think the writing is okay, but not great, I don't like the removal of Ms. Bellum, I wish they change the majority of the cast and not just the girls, the show being less action driven and more character based could of worked, but not the way they decided to do it, and the animation errors really need to be fixed. But the show isn't God awful either. The backgrounds and coloring are beautiful, I like how they added new villains and side characters to the Powerpuff Girl roster (even though the villains and side characters can be kinda hit or miss.) the show is still at least fairly funny, and I love what they've done with Bubbles. A lot of people say that reboots are just easy ways for big studios to make money without doing anything original, a while this may be true in some respects, a reboot might be easy money for an executive but for the cast and crew working on it it's pretty dang hard. I mean sure you'll have a built in audience and the reboot will most likely make a lot of money, but you also have to fill the shoes of the original creators. You have to deal with all the premature hatred that comes with that built in audience, and you have to juggling meeting there expectation, being your own thing, and making the show you want to create. It's frickin' hard! And you could say that's just the trade off but remember it's the networks who decided to reboot the property, not the showrunner or executive behind the show itself. It's easy enough to write a character you've made, but when it's a character you haven't made it presents it's own set of challenges that must be a nightmare for some creators and directors, and I'm not just talking about Powerpuff Girls. I think the show is good. Not great, but good. It's far from the worse thing ever. I would probably say I enjoy the reboot about as much if not more  than most of the episodes in the last two seasons of the old series, and I do hope that the people behind the shows will improve as time goes on. After all, it is just the first season, and the old show had some dumb things in there first season too (remember that episode where three criminals disguised themselves as the girls with costumes that where just conveniently inside there prison cell...yeah.) I hope you liked my massive review on the Powerpuff Girls Reboot, I've never done a project like this before and the feedback has been fantastic. If you have any other ideas for reviews or topics for me to cover in my other series, "Cartoon Thoughts" let me know. Also if you want, feel free to check out my webcomics, "Joy of Crime" or "Elinor High." If you like this review please fav, follow and comment and I will be most appreciative. And so once again, the day is saved, thanks to...over analyzation! (...I'm pushing it, aren't I?)
