Lbr if it were any other character mistreating droids like that they would be slandered. Nah, fan fave Din just gets his discriminatory cop actions as a labelled as "haha that's my boyfriend, he's so anti droid" the brain rot is real.

honestly i kinda disagree, i mean as you said the brain rot is real. i don't think a majority of the "din is my boyfriend" people think critically enough to recognize the droid situation without star wars itself explicitly calling attention to it, which star wars does not. so even if it wasn't din doing it i truly believe everyone would still think it was funny

BUT YES i do concede there's a special "din is my boyfriend haha" flavoring to this where everyone finds it specifically funny bc uwu din hates droids. haha. harhar. now he's going to harass and assault them in the streets and isnt it so funny because he's a hater. harhar
