i started playing the stanley parable and [spoilers ahoy] got a few of the worst endings i'm assuming you can get fairly quickly, so my reading on the narrator has been that he's a sadistic evil bastard who'll psychologically torture and kill a man over and over for not agreeing to be his puppet, and then i get like, the adventure line segment where he's sort of fumbling and confused and almost cute and i'm like ahhh.... i was maybe.... not supposed to do all that stuff...... just yet...

#ignore me #like i FEEL like i'm supposed to be vaguely fond of him maybe and then get him really mad at me?#and have the illusion broken and get scared. or something. i mean the game doesnt have a set order to things clearly #but all the like. art ive seen over the years has been very cutesy. guys i dont think this dude is cutesy.#he locked me in a small apartment with a mannequin wife and made my heart stop and had a woman stare at my corpse on the street #and he added extra time to a self destruct countdown on the facility i was in just to watch me squirm.#this guy sucks and if i find a way i will kill him.
