i really wish it was something else like roe v wade overturned, the anti-lgbtq bills, the racism, children being gunned down in school, etc to unite Americans like this but if banning tiktok of all things is the straw that breaks the camel’s back so fucking be it. Viva la revolution

#you’re not only gonna have a lot of people pissed about violating their first amendment rights #but a lot of people addicted to the app that was designed to be addictive in this way #pissed that they cannot get their fix #and have less to distract them from the horrors and injustices of current reality #we are a broken as fuck people #and all that rage will be directed right at the fuckwads in power #i would miss the app but i do kind of want the ban to happen so real change can maybe finally happen in this country #on the other hand I’m so fucking terrified the ban will happen and nothing will change it will just get worse we’ll lose more and more #of our freedom
