idk how to explain it but i love characters that are good with kids but mostly just because don’t actually know how to act around a kid so they end up just treating them like a mini adult. they listen to their opinions with respect without infantilizing them or dismissing their beliefs because they’re ’just a kid’. they see kids as actualized human beings who deserve to speak and advocate for themselves yanno?? i think it’s why i gravitate so much towards big sib cgs. as much as i want a cg to take care of me i also want someone to view my thoughts and opinions as valuable no matter what state im in.
