I definitely would not recommend Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka to anyone who is chronically ill
#the amount of times it was talking about gregor being tired and in pain and everyone around him ignored that#it was difficult because of how much i could relate to it#and gregor being shut in his room unable to do a lot was also very difficult#the anger his family had at being his caretaker or just denying his existence was hard#metamorphosis#franz kafka
