part 1
Geto is slowing down. He begins engaging in conversation with Gojo, allowing the sorcerer to get within arms length of him.
Geto works up the nerve to ask, “How do you know where I am all the time?”
Gojo shrugs.  “I can smell you.”
“EH?” Geto raises an arm and smells his armpit. "But I’m a curse. I don’t...produce a scent.”
Gojo shrugs again. “You do to me.”
Geto’s eye twitches.
“Okay, well. I gotta go - nice talking to you BYE!” he says while fleeing once again.
Not even a week later, they meet again during night time, in an open field, where the moon hangs high up in the air.
Geto perches on a tree branch while Gojo sits on the ground, laying against the tree. Strangely enough, Gojo hasn’t struck up another conversation since joining Geto in his peaceful spot to rest.
Geto decides to be social this time around.
“The moon is beautiful tonight,” he quietly comments.
“Oh, is it?”
Geto glares down at Gojo, the sorcerer obviously noticing the heated look from his companion. Sure, Gojo is blindfolded, but he stated that his six eyes are still powerful enough to perceive his surroundings in great detail.
Shouldn’t he be able to see how bright the moon is?
“Yes, it’s a full moon,” Geto says. “I usually don’t slow down enough to appreciate it.”
Gojo hums, as if in agreement. He tilts his chin up to face towards the curse above him.
“I see something else that’s beautiful tonight too, but it’s certainly not the moon,” Gojo murmurs softly.
Geto sighs. “Why are you still following me?” In lieu of an answer, Gojo goes from sitting at the base of the tree to sitting on the branch next to Geto’s in the blink of an eye. Geto gasps, turning his gaze away in fear of unleashing his powers on the sorcerer, even though Gojo still wears his blindfold.
“I follow you because I enjoy your company,” Gojo responds, lacking the usually teasing tone he has when pursuing Geto in their game of tag. “It’s less lonely, isn’t it?”
Somehow, Geto’s cheeks heat up. First, being indirectly complimented for his beauty (whether Gojo could truly see him or not), and second, acknowledging they’ve been sharing a sense of companionship for the past few weeks.
Gojo Satoru is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
Geto just hopes he doesn’t get burned in the process.
***
Gojo finds Geto beyond endearing. The drawings of Geto in history books depict him to be much scarier and violent.
But he was human too. And Gojo feels this every time he manages to cross paths with the tired curse. Frankly, Gojo wouldn’t be surprised if most of the information in history books are mere rumors that conceal the truth.
Making Geto out to be something he really is not.
Well, if he plays his cards right, Gojo will hopefully be able to uncover that truth, and see Geto in the way Gojo himself wishes to be seen.
When Gojo reveals who exactly the strong and resilient partner he’s taken a liking to, Shoko can only sigh while lighting a new cigarette.
Shoko: “I can't say I’m surprised.”
***
The first time they kiss, they’re sitting together on a bench in the quiet section of a park surrounded by flowers in bloom. This is the first touch of affection Geto has ever experienced, always used and abused when he lived as a sorcerer and hated as a curse.
However, Gojo’s hand tenderly cups his jaw, guiding their lips together in languid kisses that part with wet smacking noises-
“Fuck! That hurt!” Gojo yelps while pulling away.
Geto’s snakes, being the biggest haters of their budding relationship, keep biting Gojo’s forehead. Geto scolds his snakes in an angry whisper.
“Stop it! This is a good thing! Don’t ruin this for me,” Geto says. The snakes respond in their own unique ways.
“Sorcerer, show us your eyes - just one peek!”
“KILL HIM.”
“Geto-san, I’m hungry~~”
One lone snake actually takes a liking to Gojo and scents his cheek with a flick of the tongue.
Despite Geto’s occasional embarrassment of his snakes’ behavior, Gojo finds them cute anyway.
***
Gojo and Geto decide on a secluded cottage for Geto to live in. With money and status not being an issue, Gojo took care of furnishing the cottage and land ownership.
Gojo also has barriers in place so no one - non-sorcerers OR sorcerers - will bother Geto. Gojo insists it’s the least Geto deserves considering the circumstances in how they met.
Geto wants to cry because he hasn’t even told Gojo half of the shit he’s been through. Yet, Gojo is offering the peace Geto has so desperately craved all his life, right here on a silver platter.
Better yet, a peace without eternal loneliness.
Geto is still scared of wandering out by himself because of his powers, so Geto keeps himself busy inside the cottage.
Gojo visits when he can, usually every couple of days. Like a cat who’s been waiting for its owner to come home, Geto greets Gojo with a long kiss. Over time, Geto’s snakes have also come to love Gojo, and they too will place kisses all over Gojo’s face when the lovers are close.
Gojo makes sure to bring back dozens of treats for Geto to try. Geto’s tastebuds are nowhere near what they used to be, but he giddily accepts the bland food that’s been provided with love and care.
Geto versus technology is an entertaining phenomenon. He’s a curse from the ancient times, and there hasn’t been an opportunity to learn the new ways of mobile devices or the internet.
Geto picks up texting the quickest, though he uses formal grammar in dense paragraphs and puts a period after each sentence.
Gojo sends Geto lots of funny videos, to which Geto responds with: “Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.”
Gojo types back :“so harsh, suguru!🥹”
Geto: “I laughed though.”
Gojo: “yes you did, my dear🥰”

NOTE. my first ever jjk au!!!!!!! REBLOG! REBLOG! REBLOG!
PAIRING. satoru gojo x suguru geto
GENRE. angst, hurt/no comfort
SYNOPSIS. a person like satoru harbors no regrets, that was until he met a person like suguru.
WARNINGS. none
W/C. 1.3k
masterlist
Satoru, in the depths of his soul, harbors no regrets. From the second he took his initial breath as humanity's finest sorcerer, an immense feeling of pride flowed through him, leaving absolutely no room for guilt. He handles life with the weight of incredible power and the absence of regret, balancing the line between having everything and having nothing to lose.
Satoru sees the world as a vast tapestry embedded with fibers of triumph and loss. His intimate understanding of life's complexities rests not on the absence of obstacles, but on his unwavering embrace of them. Because he knows that remorse is merely a whisper in the wind, easily scattered by the stubbornness of a heart that pulses with purpose, the very essence of his being echoes with the harmonious music of living without the veil of shame.
That was until he met Suguru. He uncovered a void within himself that he had not known existed at the time. Suddenly, the concept of having everything became less clear than it had previously appeared. Satoru grew to understand the delicate intricacies of fear—the fear of losing something valuable—with each passing moment spent with Suguru.
Suguru became a vibrant thread in the monochrome patchwork of his life, bringing value to the hues of who he was. Their experiences together, laughter, and even moments of silence of understanding offered an analogy that went beyond the apparent contradiction of having it all. Satoru found himself navigating unfamiliar emotions, discovering that vulnerability was not synonymous with weakness but rather a tribute to the profound connections that may change one's fundamental being.
As the vibrations of his growing fear resonated in the haze, Satoru decided to carry on, confident that the might of both of them could withstand any kind of obstacle. After all, he was Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto was far more than a friend; he was a foundation in a world where weakness and power coexisted, and the dreaded feeling of abandonment was overpowered by the unwavering strength of their bond.
"Penny for your thoughts," Suguru's voice slipped in from behind, a soft interruption in the quiet ambiance. Sunlight streamed through the leaves of the tall tree hovering over the both of them.
Satoru's laughter, rich and warm, filled the air. "I'd pay you a million to know what's been going on in your mind these days."
"Funny how I should be the one telling you that, Satoru."
"Just some stuff. How to enhance my skills and all," Satoru replied, a thoughtful expression playing on his features. His words hung in the air, playing with the dust caught in the sunlight.
The conversation lingered in a brief silence, allowing the weight of unspoken thoughts to settle. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves beneath them, like the earth sighing in relief, creating a soft melody that accompanied the subtle tension of their exchange.
"You've lost weight, Suguru. Been indulging in too much Somen?" Satoru asked playfully, his eyes scanning his best friend with a discerning gaze. The school bore witness to the shared history etched in the lines of their faces, with vintage photographs adorning the walls and memories echoing in every corner.
Suguru, on the other hand, simply observed him. The sunlight accentuated the vibrancy of his blue eyes, turning them into a deeper shade. His normally white hair appeared softer in the natural light, free from the usual hold of styling wax. The subtle play of light and shadow seemed to come alive in the place, expressing the complexities of their thoughts without the need for words.
Perhaps it's the cascade of tragedies that unfolded in the past year, or maybe it's the weight of loss they've shouldered despite their youth. It could be the haunting number of bodies they had to burn that eclipsed Satoru's understanding of what was poised to unfold between them. The school, charged with an unspoken heaviness, seemed to hold echoes of sorrow and resilience, intertwining the threads of their shared experiences into a tapestry of unforeseen challenges.
"How have you been, Satoru?" Suguru broke the silence with the sudden question.
"Fine," Satoru replied, though the simplicity of the answer carried an unspoken weight that hung in the air.
"Will you be fine alone?"
"Huh?" Satoru's confusion was evident in his response.
Instead of clarifying, Suguru released a dry laugh. "Nothing."
Satoru, despite the facade of casual conversation, felt a certain gravity in the air that tugged at the edges of his consciousness.
"I have been thinking," Suguru began, his voice carrying a subdued intensity, "of a lot of things." The words hung in the air, poignant, unspoken thoughts and the echoes of a shared history that had weathered storms together.
The depths of Suguru’s silence and his rhetorical question were a dust storm that Satoru paid no attention to until they stood, feet apart from each other, where Satoru’s one and only fear came to life. The unspoken weight of Suguru's contemplations now materialized, hanging in the air like a dense fog, shrouding the space between them.
The words Suguru spoke carried a weight that only Satoru's heart could comprehend from a distance. "This is the life I've chosen. All I can do now is give it all I've got. This is what I was made for. Don't ruin it for me... like what you always do."
In response, Satoru's determination to challenge those words was evident. "I'll ruin it all over for you." There was a sense of defiance in his retort, a refusal to accept Suguru's chosen path without a fight. The exchange encapsulated the tension and complexity of their relationship, a clash of wills that hinted at a deeper, unspoken history between them.
The conversation between Suguru and Satoru unfolded with poignant intensity. Suguru, expressing a long-suppressed desire, explained, "You need to understand that this is the first thing that I wanted. Maybe the only reason why I haven’t done this is because of you, Satoru. Always having to compromise for you. Always having to break into your mind to have you understand everything. Your problems are always my problem. It was never easy with you, Satoru. And I figured that leaving you is the easiest thing to do."
Satoru, grappling with the weight of Suguru's words, countered with an emotional, "And the last thing I wanted is the first thing you do."
Suguru's response, delivered with a touch of resignation, reflected the complexity of life. "Well, life won't always agree with you, Satoru. If it was you in my shoes, you would do it without any hesitation because you could."
"What you want is impossible," Satoru asserted.
"You say it's impossible when you yourself could do it," Suguru countered, feeling the weight of Satoru's silence. "You have always been the righteous one, Satoru. Everything you do and will do is justifiable because you are the strongest. But are you the strongest because you're Satoru Gojo or are you Satoru Gojo because you're the strongest?"
Everything after that, to Satoru's mind, became a blur. The questioning of his identity and strength stirred a tumultuous whirlwind of thoughts, leaving him grappling with a reality he had perhaps never truly considered.
Satoru, in the depths of his soul, harbors no regrets.
Until he met Suguru, who altered his life forever. Satoru now regrets not following him, failing to realize the profound significance of Suguru's quietness in spite of his own noise. The load of accountability falls entirely on his shoulders, and he feels that he only has to blame himself, not Suguru. Despite his regrets, Satoru is willing to let Suguru reacquaint him with the nuances of life, which he had no opportunity to learn. Whatever happens, he's willing to let Suguru rain on his parade since he's learned to embrace the curse that he was taught to abhor. He's grown to accept the fear he used to keep buried, realizing it was just a fear with no real meaning prior to it ever striking.
Now, Satoru finds himself back to square one. He fears nothing because, in losing Suguru, he believes he has nothing left to lose.

SKYLINE TO
synopsis: finding a random dvd sends you spiralling down memory lane
vi’s notes: i just finished high school and wrote this so yeah! inspired by this song!
Tumblr media
you stumble across it when you’re done packing up the rest of your dorm room.
you notice that the writing is scratchy and illegible, it must be shoko’s handwriting you think to yourself, admiring the fact that she’s already succumbed to the terrible fate of doctors handwriting already despite her just being in her second year of med school.
the dvd cover is blank and you’re intrigued, excited to see what you are about to uncover. you blow the dust off the cd, slotting the dvd into the dvd player. in minutes the screen illuminates and the familiar building you know all too well appears.
jujutsu tech is draped in banners and balloons and you can faintly make out the wording on the banner. ‘congratulations class of 2007!’ it reads, before the camera moves and zooms in on a familiar duo. gojo and geto fixing each other's caps before breaking into their usual playfight, making you groan.
your initial feelings of laughter subsides as the immense amount of dread settles in your stomach. now through much older and perceptive eyes, you finally look at him and you nearly want to kick yourself. he was wasting away in front of your eyes and you were too caught up to know.
geto looks more gaunt, his cheeks looking razor sharp. the life in his eyes replaced by a sullen expression that he tries to hide behind the smiles that never reach his eyes. his hair though in his signature man bun is more messy, lacking the meticuluousness that it once had.
as if the camera knows of your upset, there is a cut to one of the classrooms in jujutsu tech. you're all asked one by one what you're gonna do once leaving the college whilst you all know deep down that you'll end up serving the jujutsu world in one way or another, you pretend.
pretend that you have the whole world ready to explore at your fingertips like the biggest issues you all face is what universities you're attending and not the issue trying to fight a rising amount of curses unbeknownst to the rest of humanity, for the betterment of the greater good.
shoko speaks up first. "when i leave this place, im going straight to med school to become a doctor." this is met with some whoops and clapping mainly by the two idiots beside you.
"shoko can i get free healthcare?" gojo butts in, to which geto responds "you literally have your own private family doctor asshole. how greedy can you get satoru?" he slaps the upside of satoru's head with rolled up newspaper. the softness in his voice creeping in with the use of gojo's first name.
then the camera then cuts to you. your cap is slightly tilted and your hair peeks out from your cap, you look radiant as ever with your sunkissed skin and your glossy lips. a sight for sore eyes.
"when i leave this place, im going to the university of tokyo." you answer confidently. nanami who is behind the camera asks "what are you going to study?" his question stemming from pure genuine intrigue rather than with disdain from the higher ups, makes you feel less defensive about your choice. "psychology." you reply with a slight smile.
"sweet, so we get our own personal doctor and a shrink!" gojo enthuses, snacking on some sweets that he fishes out from his pockets. geto rolls his eyes at gojo and you throw a book at gojo that doesn't hit him because of his stupid infinity. "watch your mouth." you warn but it's more teasing, more playful.
gojo goes next and surprises everyone with what he wants to do when he leaves jujutsu tech. "a teacher?" shoko splutters, mild surprise evident on her usual impassive face. "when did you suddenly turn into mother theresa?"
geto who is currently occupied making origami cranes using scrap paper adds, "you were always so tight about helping others. i mean instead of helping ijichi to become a better sorcerer you literally told him to quit." gojo shrugs, "i saved his life and he knows that deep down. if no one told him to quit, he'd be toast by now."
gojo's tirade on his future, is sped up a little bit and you smile figuring that he probably went on a rant about digimon and it's future, which was what he did his final english examination on. even though his topic strayed from the recommended list of topics the examination board provided he still got an A, which you remember pissed shoko and geto off for weeks.
speaking of geto, his dulcet rich voice is what draws you out of your brief nostalgia trip. "i'm going on a gap year." this piques the interest of you all, who grow quiet at first before running over to annoy him. "don't die on us okay! we can't deal with gojo on our own!" you and shoko wail out as you pull him every which way.
the camera picks up on gojo sulking in the corner with nanami's giggles being heard in the back. "quit being a baby, satoru." he says after breaking free from you and shoko's grasp. "you'll be able to live without me just fine."
the video abruptly ends there because a ball that was meant to hit shoko ends up hitting the camera instead, tilting it off the window ledge. gojo got that camera as a gift from his parents for doing his exams. "my mom is so gonna kill me." is the last words the camera picks up before it descends into darkness.
it is then followed by a three minute montage of pictures accumulated from the three years that you spent at the college. looking back at your round faced wide eyed selves grow into the individuals you are today, hardened by the tough conditions you grew up in is quite bittersweet.
tears brim your eyes as you stare at the black tv screen now, faced with a reflection of yourself that is now older, more wiser.
you pull out the crumpled piece of paper from the couch. you smoothen out the piece of paper, looking at him. it's a dated picture but you assume he looks the same, the haggard hair, the oversized clothing, his eyes that are now dark pools of hatred.
"some people go on gap years to find themselves and you wound up a mass murderering cult leader on the run." you let out a hollow laugh, unsure if its one of anger or despair. the bold red letters of death warrant written in bold above his head glare at you.
you kept the dvd and the glimpse of suguru in box marked as fragile.
fitting it seemed, the way you were still touchy about his defection said it all. you weren’t ready to let go of who suguru was and embrace who he is now.
but maybe one day you could.

Tumblr media
gojo is first introduced to you when you're seven years of age, a year his junior, all winsome and toothless as he chases you through the corridors of his expansive abode.
his pale blue yukata flutters in the wind, giving life to the pattern of dragonflies that decorate the fabric. the pitter patter of feet on mahogany echoes through the hallways, your laughter a vast contrast to the otherwise solemn calm.
the gojos were one of three esteemed jujutsu sorcerer families, and perhaps the most regimented of the bunch.
for every new batch of sorcerers brought into the world came a need to celebrate. it was tradition for gatherings to be held in recognition of the approaching generation, typically hosted by one of the three main families.
despite its optimistic intentions, you felt nothing but the palpable atmosphere of tension between families, evident in their ice-cold stares, and faux smiles. what it really was, was an opportunity for gossip, whispers of which clans had succeeded in birthing capable heirs, and which had not, weaving their way through conversations and sparking the flames of speculation.
you had long since grown bored of listening to your parents engage in small talk with the other families, having left the crowd of people, marveled by the sheer size of the gojo residence.
your fascination with the unfamiliar territory had you tiptoeing around the labyrinth of passageways, passing by a few rooms, some of which had been left open wide enough for you to peek inside.
an odd looking keychain lying haphazardly on the floor catches your attention as you wandered the halls. you moved to pick it up, dangling it in front of your face to get a closer look before continuing on. it was then that you’d felt a presence close by, turning a corner and peeking out from behind a wall in hopes of uncovering the source.
it was a boy, no taller than you were, with silver hair and cerulean eyes, staring right back at you. he seemed apprehensive as he took a step forward, and you guessed that the toy had belonged to him.
you grinned cheekily as you took off, grasping the little thing in your hands as the boy gave chase, bringing you to the present moment.
“give it back!” he demands, and you turn to see him hot on your tail.
“i will!” you yell back, holding the toy above your head and slowly coming to a halt, raising your arms in surrender, “i just wanna see how it works!” the toy in question being a small rectangular device, translucent with a keyring hanging off one end. it had three little buttons alongside a small window of a screen.
"what is it?" you ask, baffled, your lips forming an 'o'.
the boy rolls his eyes as he stomps over to you, pointing at the toy. "that's a digimon virtual pet," he says matter-of-fact, crossing his arms over his chest to try and seem intimidating, unsure of your intentions.
you fiddle with the buttons, watching the pixels dance on screen to form little creatures. “woah,” you gawk in childish wonder, the boy allowing himself a moment to relax, intrigued by your genuine bewilderment.
“cool, huh?” he raises a brow, eyeing you from head to toe, and when he doesn’t sense any form of ill intent from you, he takes a step closer.
you pay him no mind, watching enthusiastically as a creature comes on screen, leaving a swirl of black pixels in its wake. “it’s pooping,” you giggle, bringing the device up to his face to show him as if it weren’t his to begin with. “look!”
he laughs, truly amused by your blitheness as he takes the device into his hands. “if you think that’s cool,” he pauses, fidgeting with the toy, “watch this!”
the suspense has you hovering over his shoulder on your tippy toes, watching as the little creatures stand in opposition, the words “battle” filling the screen.
“satoru,” another voice calls out, both of you whipping your heads to find a young woman clad in a yukata, her pale complexion complimenting the snowy white fabric of her garment. she gestures for him with a gentle flick of the wrist, a smile gracing her features
pretty, you think to yourself.
the boy turns back to you and shoves the toy somewhere within the folds of his yukata, and you almost miss the small pout tugging at his bottom lip. you find yourself mirroring his disappointment, knowing you’d have to part ways with your new friend.
the woman turns to face you, her affectionate smile radiating a warmth that makes your heart flutter. “you too, little lady,” she adds, and you perk up, exchanging a look of excitement with the boy as he extends a hand out to you.
“come on,” he beckons, and you reciprocate the gesture, placing your little hand in his before shaking it.
“i'm gojo satoru,” he tells you, keeping his gaze ahead in an attempt to seem stern and confident, like a grown up. but he flashes you a boyish grin when you tell him your name, both of you trailing behind the woman as you make your way back to the hall.
——————
four years later, gojo tells you that you’re his best friend, his cheeks flushed and his gaze averted.
you've come to witness the effects of his stringent upbringing as the era’s strongest sorcerer, his family's uncompromising nature being the main factor.
it was always training first, second, third; then whatever fleeting pockets of time he had left were spent trying to live as much of a normal childhood as he could.
it's no wonder he can be a little stoic at times, overtly disciplined for his age. he’s slowly growing out of it though, thanks to your influence and the incessant need to break him out of his shell.
“you’ve got all the time in the world to be boring when we’re all grown up,” you’d said to him.
he's grown about half a head taller than you since the time you first met, not entirely sure when that had happened, but you continue to hope that you'd get there too.
you're humming a tune, cotton candy in hand as you navigate through the throng of people, bright lights and festive music filling your senses. satoru follows closely behind you, busying himself with what was likely to be his third mizuame of the day.
“what a time to be alive,” you breathe, enjoying the gentle breeze on your skin.
your friend hums in agreement, pulling back the sleeves of his navy yukata to avoid getting them dirty. unsurprisingly, the sweet tooth has his hands (and mouth) full.
you love going to festivals, never failing to take it up as an opportunity to dress yourself in pretty garments, all the while indulging in the many treats that lined the streets of japan.
the both of you take turns deciding on what to feast on next, stopping at almost every yatai and ogling at the mouthwatering fares. you don’t miss out on the games either, always somehow turning it into a competition between the both of you.
he wins, of course. every single time, much to your dismay.
you tut, popping a dango into your mouth as the boy walks alongside you, his hands brimming with the prizes he's won. you hadn't even noticed it getting darker, the sun having set behind the clouds, the canopy of night adorning little flecks of white that light up the sky.
you slow, noticing a crowd of people stopping to peer up at the sky, the words “fireworks” reaching your ears. your grumpy expression soon washes over, an ear-splitting smile taking it’s place as you whip your head to face your puzzled looking friend.
“it’s starting, it’s starting!” you squeal, buzzing with excitement as you grab onto his arm, careful not to squeeze him too hard as you lead him to a good spot atop a small grassy hill.
you make it just in time as the velvety sky erupts into a mix of bright colours, booms resounding from the fireworks above. your mouth hangs open in awe, wide eyes reflecting the vibrant colours illuminating the sky.
satoru smiles, his boyish grin spreading across his face as silver strands dance around his forehead. “so cool,” he almost whispers, clearly enjoying the show just as much as you are.
“aren’t you glad i brought you along?” you ask, a proud smile on your face.
satoru taps a finger to his chin, humming as he pretends to think. “maybe,” he drawls.
“well, you’re welcome,” you say, smugly. your response has him rolling his eyes, sticking out his tongue to let out an exaggerated blegh. you reach up to flick his forehead, but find yourself stopping a mere few inches away from his face, pushing against the repulsive force of his infinity that keeps you from reaching him.
“that's not fair!”
“it's okay to admit you're jealous, y'know. i won’t judge."
"dick."
you take it back, you much preferred it when he was quiet.
"thank you," he says more seriously now, still keeping his gaze fixed on the sky. his words are enough to knock you out of your annoyance as you turn to face him.
he finds your gaze, and there's a softness in his eyes, something you don’t see very often, the explosion of colours in the sky reflecting off his face like a watercolour painting.
he looks away again, and he’s thankful you can’t see the tinge of pink that tints his cheeks under the low lighting.
pretty, you find yourself thinking, just as you had years ago. but you’d never tell him that. he doesn’t need the ego boost.
“for being my best friend.”
you're used to his usual attitude and snarky remarks, but it's always a little surprising whenever he gets like this, seemingly out of the blue.
you almost miss it, his words coming out in a soft murmur. you blink once, twice, opening your mouth to say something but you’re at a loss for words. your heart swells with something you’re not entirely sure of, but thankfully, gojo clears his throat, returning to his usual boyish demeanour and saying, “can we get back to the food now?”
——————
time seems to fly as you both find yourselves in your first year at jujutsu high, accompanied by two other students in your year; a brunette with short, tousled hair, accentuated by a subtle beauty mark beneath her right eye. the other was a taller male, similar in height to satoru, his long, dark hair often pulled back into a bun. his ears bore the faint stretch of black gauges, adding an edge to his appearance.
you don't know when you first started to notice, but you liked talking to geto; his voice was mellow, a soothing lullaby to your ears. you’ve got a (not so small) crush on him, you’ll admit, finding comfort in his presence like a warm blanket that shielded you from the cold.
he's so different, yet similar to your white-haired friend all at the same time. the latter had taken a liking to him rather quickly. despite all the bickering, they share an underlying endearment, with gojo looking to him as a kind of moral compass.
the four of you had been training together for the last couple of months, today being no different as you take turns sparring each other on the school field.
shoko takes her usual spot under a tree, perfectly content with sitting out. you don't mind it though, knowing combat wasn’t something she’s ever really been interested in, given her role as your team’s resident healer.
"c’mon, we don't have all day!" satoru nags, round tinted glasses sitting low on the bridge of his nose, a new thing to help keep him from overexerting his six eyes.
they’re stylish and fitting for him, you think.
"you ready?" geto asks, snapping you out of your train of thought.
"’course i am," you bite back, playfully. he responds with a smile, and your breath hitches in your throat. damn it.
"loser pays for dinner!" gojo chimes in, shoko echoing after him as he signals the start of your fight.
you roll your eyes, lunging towards your opponent. he doesn't even flinch, stepping aside to summon a low-level curse, which you'd anticipated. you ground yourself before jumping onto it’s back, slicing through the curse with ease and taking the opportunity to push forwards.
your fists collide with geto's as you concentrate on throwing strategic punches, all the while avoiding his. it's hard keeping up, his ability in close combat eclipsing your own. your muscles scream for relief, your body growing tired from the previous matches you’ve had as you leap back to catch your breath.
suguru fixes his posture, inky strands sticking to his forehead, “payin’ for dinner again today?” he teases, and you huff.
“second time in a row!” gojo adds, pursing his lips in a mock kissy face as he wriggles his arms.
you ignore his antics, rushing towards geto once more, sliding yourself between his legs and catching him by surprise as you land a kick to his back. the force has him stumbling forwards and you grab hold of him, preparing to take him down.
in your eagerness, you don’t see a curse he’s summoned as it tackles you to the dirt, leaving you stunned momentarily.
when did he-
the next thing you know, suguru has his hand up against your throat, his fingers ghosting over the skin of your neck to signal the end of your match. you’re praying he doesn’t see the way your face burns a bright red as he lends you hand, pulling you up to your feet with ease.
“gotta work on paying attention,” he says, with that damn smile of his that gives you butterflies. you do nothing but nod, concentrating on steadying your heartbeat as it thumps loudly in your chest.
you pat down your uniform, swiping away the blades of grass that had clung to the fabric, jutting out your bottom lip in a small pout. suguru seems to notice, as he always does, sighing before ruffling your hair.
“we’ll split the bill.”
you look up at him, surprised. you open your mouth to protest, but satoru cuts you off, coming to rest his elbow on your shoulder as he coos.
“oh my hero!”
geto tuts, looking to you as he gestures to gojo, “how’ve you managed to stay friends for so long?”
“bribery,” you say, watching as vivid blue eyes narrow, moonlit eyebrows furrowing in tow, “lots of it.” he scowls with his mouth wide, letting out a loud, “hah?”
——————
“wouldn’t it be weird?”
“nah, why would it?”
“we’re in the same team and all,” geto sighs, leaning back against the bench with an arm propped up on the backrest. “didn’t you practically grow up together?”
satoru shrugs, casually taking a sip of his cola. normally, he’d be the one asking for advice, although he rarely heeded any of it. “i mean, yeah,” he nods, “but you like her don’t you? i’d say to just go for it.”
for reasons unbeknownst to the sorcerer, something in him sinks and with another swig of his carbonated beverage, he swallows the feeling. suguru’s right, you did practically grow up together, your relationship akin to that of siblings, of course he’d feel a little perplexed about his best friends dating each other.
that’s probably what it is.
“i’ll take care of her,” suguru says, his gaze fixed on the floor and voice laced with conviction. satoru’s thankful for the reassurance and smiles, leaning back and bumping a fist to geto’s chest.
“i know.”

oh my god erika i finally got to read this and let me tell YOU my heart was racing the entire time but for different reasons during each half 😭
i am quite the scaredy girlie but i am also quite obsessed with the way you write so OF COURSE i'll read this. OF COURSE i will. and i'm so glad i did shdbfhsdafb
i love love love how you scene-build!! how you map out settings and characters and just uGH!! idk how you do it!! i mean, i remember your world-building for 'all of this & heaven too' and am not shocked at all that you've managed to deliver the same kind of descriptive ease when detailing what this party in shoko's apartment looked like, how everyone interacted with eachother. just UGH!!
and your choice of costumes TOO 😭 like gojo as a vampire? YES um. YES?!?!? and geto as phANTOM?????!!! i have never thought of that ever but that is literally the ONLY thing i can think of now?? nanami standing there with devil horns like those last minute ones you can buy in the checkout queue 😭 how haibara is supposed to be scarecrow but has the personality completely opposite of it!!!
and then. the scene plays and you bring in the suspense. the moment you mentioned ghostface standing by the sides of the room, looking straight at you oh MY GOD my stomach SUNK.
Yet this person stands so still. The mask also seems to be staring directly at you. + Then ghost face lifts a gloved finger up to the mask’s lips.  <- straight UP SHIVER DOWN MY SPINE. especially with the fingers to the lips 😭😭 like i READ THE SUMMARY. I READ THE WARNINGS. IT'S LITERALLY ON THE BANNER. I KNEW who this man was but i was still SO UNEASY. and i think that's bc of your writing erika REALLY 😭😭😭
and then in the hallway when he said 'baby' oh GOD you know. this uncovered a weird thing. i felt SO scared but SO oH? at the same time i srsly could not PICK what i was feeling. and THEN AND FRICKIN THEN??!?!? u give the ELEVATOR?? (first of all satoru is a lil shit this entire time) BUT ALSO THE ELEVATOR?? the way the mask just continues to stare omfg erika it was so unnerving my heart was racing and then YOU GAVE THE CHASE TOO I THINK i woULD HAVE ALMOST SCREAMED like my eyes were SO WIDE reading that.
and ofc i knew that wouldn't be the end buT I STILL GASPED WHEN he was in the kitchen omfg cos just imagine 😭 it's the middle of the night and u get ur phone and u see some guy in ghostface that u 'don't know' iS UR BF LIKE i'd BE THINKIN I'M DEAD IN 5 SECONDS. and your description of that moment too: Ghost face’s presence in your warmly light kitchen reminds you of someone taking a sharpie and placing a solid swipe against a scenic painting. It is a terrifying distortion.
and hE RALLY HAD TO HAVE A KNIFE 😭😭 i was fearing for my life erika EVEN THOUGH I KNEW THIS WAS GOJO AND HE WAS ROLEPLAYING I WANTED TO AJSDFBHJA.
There is no pressure, just the simple chilling sensation of his presence against your skin. It’s a reminder that at any moment he could tighten his hand on your throat. <- gave me CHILLS
and you made him say this too: "You’re just so cute that I wanna chase ya and keep you forever.” His voice manages to drop deeper, entrenched in something dreadfully haunting. <- and let me tell you. the mental crisis i had trying to reconcile the fact that i was SO AROUSED BY THIS. ERIKA?!??!?!?!
the entire chase was so thrilling i felt like I was running into the closet to hide 😭 and the way my heart was beating too when his footsteps entered oh my god. i SWEAR i screamed inside when he was RIGHT THERE kneeling down to look at you 😭
u know what i'm so GRATEFUL he giggled bc I DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE TAKEN IT 😭 reader is so strong bc i honestly would have begged him to give me my baby satoru back 😭
i find it so incredibly CUTE how you write satoru i don't even know how to explain it!! i think i notice his duality so much more in your writing 😭 how he can say things like this: “No.” The voice replies but there's a twinkle in the tone now. “It’s me…scary ghost face man!” after TERRIFYING the shit out of me. how you can make him joke like this: "Who’s that? Is that your boyfriend? He sounds hot.” LIKE!! it just makes me wanna pinch his cheeks 🥺 forget everything that happened before literally.
AND THEN you make him so hot too i'm literally going inSANE. the way the eyeliner is smudged on him?? ouGHHHHH erika you KNEW what you were doing. YOU DID. imagine him being that hot and saying things like 'i took selfies on ur phone!!' while pouting like. how he's so proud that shoko called us sexy freaks??????! wHAT EMOTION DO I EVEN FEEL FOR THIS MAN???? in my notes i literally put: oh erika he is so cute JHABDFHs
THEN THE AUDACITY FOR HIM TO SAY THIS: "It’s okay, angel. I kinda wanna chase you around too.” <- UM?????? only to come back down with the sweetest, softest care saying he doesn't like seeing you scared oh god erika. i'm a SUCKER for softness and you made him so soft in this exchange 🥺 i think i fell in love w him again jhsdbfhjs the banter they have, the way he pokes back with the knife (and the fact that he srsly bought a real looking fake one 😭)
aND THE TENSION TO THAT MOMENT. THE BUILDUP TO THE KISS OUUUUGH ERikAA mY HEART RACING OUUUUUGHHH ERIKAAAAAA.
Before you can even say anything, Satoru sweeps down fast and low. A creature striking fast, he captures your lips with his.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i truly believe erika that being a gojo fucker is hard. but the way you write him makes it harder because. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESIST HIM NOW. i DON'T THINK I CAN EVER 😭😭
Between your legs is a sight that melts your brain. With his holy angelic eyes, electrified and blown out, along with the terrifying ghost face mask on his cloud head, Satoru is a blissful frightening sight.
lITERALLYSB FASHDFABSJHF WHY AM I SOT UNRNE DON i hATE THIS
He fucks you there in the closet. The taste of it is wild, a frantic claim.
LITERALLY ^^^ LITERALLY WHY IS THIS SO HOT IM DYDUGSBSD THAT ONE LINE TOOK ME OUT IT TOOK ME OUTTTTTT and how u make them so... playful hot... like he's still able to go like "BABYYY?!?!?" THAT WAS SO CUTE ERIKA R U KIDDING ME 😭 i CANT PICK AN EMOTION LIKE AM I GONNA GET RAILED BY HIM OR AM I GONNA KISS HIS CHEEKS let mE CHOOSE 😭😭😭😭
AND NO WAY. YOU ENDED WITH A SCENE LIKE THIS: Pulling his fingers out, they shine coated in your wetness. He slips them under the mask. Suddenly the sound of him sucking fills the room and your mind melts even more. <- like the nIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN?!?!?!? the way he puTS IT ON YOU TOO IM FUCIFOFROT. my mind is a puddle. i am a melted mix of every cell in my body. the sound of him sucking?? that is the ONLY sound I HEAR from this day ON. i canT BELIEVE THIS. reevaluating everything rn.
(thank u for writing this erika it was DELISHYOUS. DELECTABLE. spooky but SEXY. i love you. but this still put me in a gojo crisis).

You’re still surprised Shoko knows this many people. But then again a part of you isn’t.
The Halloween party fills every inch of her nice Tokyo apartment. The array of colored lights dance against the wild costumes and you wonder if you’ve slipped into a pocket of wonderland.
Taking a sip of your drink you also now curiously wonder if your faux blood sucking boyfriend has fallen down a rabbit hole himself.
The original plan was to go in matching couples outfits. But once your slightly erratic boyfriend spotted the dracula outfit at the costume store his grabby hands immediately snagged it.
“I’ll look hotter in this one. You understand right, angel?” Satoru triumphant grin said enough.
Begrudgingly, you did. And you couldn’t deny how gorgeous he looked.
White summer cloud hair slicked back, the realistic fake vampire fangs he wore, and even borrowing your eyeliner to add shadow like depth around his piercing baby blues -
He was the dream of every dark supernatural romance novel.
Now among the blaring music and excited chatter of the party your handsome vampire has slipped through your fingers.
Your feet are starting to ache and your soft bed is calling you home. So you decide to scan the crowd for him.
From your spot in the kitchen your attention flickers out to the thick of the party in the living room. You spot Haibara laughing so bright and looking adorable in his spooky scarecrow costume. Nanami stands beside him, simple devil horns on top of his head and a slightly amused grin coloring his distinguished features.
Geto, dressed in his rather impressive phantom of the opera costume, has been attracting a small crowd. He sits on the couch telling scary stories with the others around him. The look of both a composed storyteller and eager listener paints his handsome face even with the mask covering half his face.
Your eyes continue their search among the party.
Along the stretch of the wall lined with grand windows stands an ink blot like figure.
The apartment’s dim soft lighting mixes with the fun colorful lights strung up. Strange shadows fall among the space and at times you’ve caught it playing tricks on your eyes.
Except you clearly can focus on the striking presence across from you.
The stranger wears an all black cloak that makes them stick out against the windows.
And they wear a ghost face mask that completely obstructs any hope of discovering who this is.
The mask stares out so blankly and it’s a bit unnerving.
People chat unphased. A small group even starts an impromptu dance circle at the new upbeat pop song playing. Everyone exists unaware, or possibly uncaring, at the strange presence of the ghost face.
Yet this person stands so still. The mask also seems to be staring directly at you.
It could be someone needing a small break from the party the same way you lingered in the kitchen alone.
Then ghost face lifts a gloved finger up to the mask’s lips.
Shh…
A strange flutter you can’t fully describe rises in your gut. You simply brush off the action as someone being funny.
You now leave the kitchen to fully hunt for your missing boyfriend.
“Have you seen Gojo?” You ask around but the answers are all the same.
“Nope!” Haibara’s bright response comes with an unworried smile.
“No thank goodness,” the same answer comes from both Nanami and Utahime.
“Maybe he turned into a bat and flew away.” Geto, ever the teasing jokester, has you rolling your eyes.
Shoko jokingly even says “who?” when you ask her.
Now you think your boyfriend has decided to be childish and hide in the bathrooms or closet. Because who else would try to be funny and run away during a party but Gojo.
Shoko, with a carefree wave, grants you free range to explore her place.
You’ve been here plenty of times, but now with so many people in the space an annoyed edge bubbles in you. You want to go home. Now you’re having to peek around hoping to spot your ridiculous boyfriend. And there are no signs of him.
Annoyed and frustrated you snag your phone to simply message him.
[Where are you?!]
It takes a moment, but a message comes in from ‘My Bestest Most Handsome Boyfriend Ever.’
Said boyfriend simply replies with one lone emoji.
[🤫]
Another message rushes in. It again is nothing but emojis.
[🤭😘]
Simmering annoyance doubles, tempting to turn into frustration, and you rapidly message him back.
[Satoru I wanna go home and if you keep up this up I’m leaving you]
You’d call a ride or see if someone can take you back. You would leave him here.
A notification chime comes.
[let’s play a game baby 🤍]
[oh so me trying to find your ridiculous ass around Shoko’s apartment isn’t a game?]
[so rude!]
[but maybe it is 😜]
You call his phone. It goes straight to voicemail and you want to scream.
You angrily type out another message and hit send.
[fine whatever, you do whatever you want I’ll see you at home]
His reply rushes in surprisingly fast.
[head home angel, I’ll see you when I get there 🤍]
Now that sparks a strange curious peak in you.
But still so annoyed you angrily close your messages. You’re about to head out of the corner of the hallway you’ve been hanging out in.
So deep in your thoughts, you take one step and run into someone -
The ghost face stranger.
You thankfully don’t collide into him. However, your step falters seeing how close the person is to you.
The black robed body fully faces you, their back to the party, as they stand so direct.
“Oh, uh excuse me.” You mutter and avert your eyes worried as you slide past the stranger.
Not a sound comes, not even a reply. The chilling silence, the looming presence, the dark shadow blocking out the light, it feels like you’re trying to tiptoe past something dangerous.
Out of the hallway you check your phone again.
Still nothing from Gojo.
“Fine, stay here.” You huff out loud thinking maybe he’ll hear you.
A soft whisper of your boyfriend’s voice comes.
“…Baby…”
It cuts through the party even on the gentle breeze you heard it. Quickly you look around, but nothing. Still no sign of Satoru. You glance over your shoulder to check behind you.
Instead of being at the previous spot in the highway, ghost face now peers out from the edge of the hallway's entrance.
The plastic hollow mask continues staring so directly at you that a strange unsettled alarm twists your stomach.
It couldn’t be….
But then again…
You shake away curious and cloudy thoughts wanting to form. Turning on your heels you rush to Shoko’s side and announce you’re going to head out.
Nanami, like a true golden knight he should’ve dressed as, offers to drive you home. Haibara happily decides to tag along. Before you head out, a message alert rings from your phone.
[Come find me downstairs!]
You groan. Of course he managed to slip away from the apartment entirely.
“Sorry guys. I’ll meet you two down in the garage. I think I know where my idiot ran off too.” You sigh and thankfully Nanami understands with his saintly patience.
As you slip into the hallway, the noise of the party fades into a muted soft hum.
After navigating Shoko’s labyrinth-like apartment building you arrive at the main floor downstairs. And of course, your boyfriend again is nowhere to be found. In fact, the beautiful sleek modern lobby is vacant. Normally someone sits at the front desk that is currently empty. In the dark evening, the quiet lurks with an unsettling hollowness.
So you quickly message Gojo.
[where are you??]
No response.
You should’ve known this was going to happen.
The eerie silence, the lack of commotion in this normally occupied space, a strange anxiety swarms in your chest. It drains out the annoyance you had for your boyfriend because now, you just want to leave.
Not wanting to stay here anymore you simply head to the elevator and press the button for the garage.
Footsteps echo behind you and you turn.
Behind you is the ghost face stranger.
Standing so terrifyingly still a chill runs up your back as if you’re staring down an actual ghost, trying to process if this being is real or not. The hollowed out eyes, the deep morphed wide frown, all of it intensifies against the pristine lobby.
Then ghost face tilts their head. The small movement seems so innocent, curious even.
The elevator dings its arrival. Hesitantly you step into the lift while trying to keep your eyes on the stranger.
Once fully inside, a moment of pause comes. It again is just you and the mysterious figure staring at the other.
Suddenly, as if possessed, ghost face runs straight towards you.
Fear rips into you visceral and dizzying. You choke on a scream. Faster and faster he approaches. You shakily scramble to slam on the button to close the elevator doors.
The black robed stranger races closer.
The doors start closing. An arm outstretches hopeful to stop the elevator and terror sinks its fangs into you.
The doors however shut fast.
You’re left staring at the white masks unflinching. The doors fully shut and you watch ghost face disappear out of sight.
The elevator ride is quiet, but your loud heartbeat drums rapidly in your ears. The taste of fear in your mouth has you wondering if you unknowingly transformed into a small creature fleeing from a monster in the woods.
You exhale slowly trying to steady yourself.
The garage thankfully arrives quickly and Nanami and Haibara already wait for you there.
“Are you alright? You seem shaken up.” Nanami notices you with keen eyes.
“Yeah!” You lie as truthfully as you can, even summoning a smile to add to it. “Just feeling a little under the weather now. So I’m just ready to get home.”
That appeases Nanami and the three of you head out.
“So did you find where Gojo went!?”
“No.” You sigh, answering Haibara’s bright question.
“I’m sure he just got called away somewhere and forget to tell you!” He positively suggests.
“Or he’s just playing a trick on me thinking he’s being cute when he’s actually just being a headache.” Your dull annoyed comment has Nanami snorting amused and it warms you.
It helps as a chill air breathes into the dark evening. Softly, a distant rumble of thunder comes. A storm approaches. As you head up to the apartment you already happily think of cozy blankets to end the night.
“Satoru!” You call out.
Silence greets you. So much for meeting you at home.
You start the search again. The bathroom, the extra guest bedroom and even the guest bathroom are all once again Gojo-less. You even check underneath the bed and feel silly when you open up the laundry hamper thinking he could have squeezed himself in there as a prank.
But you realize you would’ve at least heard ridiculous giggling at this point. So, you give up.
Ready to turn in for the night you exhaustedly slip out of your costume and into cozier clothes.
You also decide to try calling your dumb boyfriend again. You left your phone charging in the kitchen and head back to grab it.
A flash of lightning comes, a bright surprise illumination dancing from the window. It draws your attention away for a split moment.
You turn and now before you the ghost face masked stranger stands in your kitchen.
Terror seizes you and you freeze in its grasp.
Ghost face’s presence in your warmly light kitchen reminds you of someone taking a sharpie and placing a solid swipe against a scenic painting. It is a terrifying distortion.
“Satoru.” You snap even though your voice wavers.
The masked stranger shakes their head.
No.
“Sorry doll,” You don’t recognize the voice replying to you. It’s deep warped and distorted. Plus your boyfriend never once called you that - doll.
“Don’t know who this Satoru guy is, but he’s lucky gettin’ to come home to you.” The deep and static like masculine voice purrs.
Your heart drops into your stomach
Now truly staring at the cloaked intruder, you realize how large ghost face is. His broad shoulders fill out the space and he radiates an imposing looming force.
Your eyes stay focused on him but you realize if you move fast, you could maybe reach your phone charging.
So you bolt with all your might.
But the masked man is faster.
In two rapid steps he stops you. With a gloved hand the stranger yanks you into his hold. A scream almost escapes you. But it’s knocked out when ghost face curls around you from behind.
A strong sturdy arm wraps itself across your chest.
“Now now doll,” the intruder tsks light. “And here I thought we could play a lil’ game.”
The gleam of the knife comes first from the corner of your eye. Then, the pointed tip starts running up the side of your body with a delicate leisure ease.
Your eyes go wide as the large kitchen knife effortlessly tracing up a path closer to you. It drags across your clothes, slow and unbothered in its pace.
“You know,” ghost face muses. “You really are a cute one.”
A twinkling glee leaks into the distorted voice.
“Let’s play that game I mentioned, yeah?” He continues.
Your throat goes dry as the knife now drags easily up your chest closer to your face.
“I’m a big fan of hide and seek.” The masked man purrs.
The solid arm that was across your chest now slides up allowing his gloved hand to softly curl around your neck. There is no pressure, just the simple chilling sensation of his presence against your skin. It’s a reminder that at any moment he could tighten his hand on your throat.
“You’re just so cute that I wanna chase ya and keep you forever.” His voice manages to drop deeper, entrenched in something dreadfully haunting.
“I’ll give you five minutes to go run and hide,” he whispers softer and deeper. The white plastic of the mask gingerly scrapes against your face. Your body coils a tense knot of emotions you can’t even seem to sort through.
“And then, I’ll go and find you.” His voice oozes out a rich low confidence.
Then cool metal presses against your cheek. Your eyes snap down and find a knife lying flat against your face. Your heart trips over in itself.
Confused panic now clashes with something dangerously dark you dare not name. It only worsens when a gloved thumb strokes your throat soft, reverently, and a heat licks up your body.
“Get to hidin’ doll… run.” Ghost face whispers.
Then he violently rips himself away from your body and like being unleashed from a cage you bolt.
You don’t even turn around to look at the masked man. Instead you dash further into the apartment.
Your first thought is to crawl under one of the beds. But your heart pounds so fast that any true proper thoughts get scrambled.
All you can think of is the closet, the large walk-in closet you share with Satoru.
Rapidly you rush inside it. You wonder if you should hide standing up along your boyfriend's large amount of tall clothes that could possibly hide you.
Until you spot it - a wonderful carved out space you can crouch in.
Once you wiggle your way in you try settling into the space. Breathing slowly in and out you try to gather yourself together. The length of Satoru’s clothes you hope will work as a cover or even a makeshift barrier to hide you.
Safe within the smell of the cologne lingering on your boyfriend’s clothes, you close your eyes to settle yourself down even more.
You sit in the silence. Tension crawls on your skin.
Time begins feeling sticky and the minutes seem to all glue together. You don’t know how long you’ve been in here or how long you will be.
Then heavy boots slowly march into the bedroom.
Your eyes snap open. The footsteps are leisurely, imposing. Your heart jolts hearing every step.
A slow dread that has been spilling into you like an hourglass now shatters as the footsteps draw closer to the door. Out of panic you can’t help but move your hands over your nose and mouth to keep quiet.
The door creaks open and your heart stops.
Your body tenses up at the sight of the black thick boats stomping into the closet.
Then the light of the closet flickers on illuminating the space.
“You in here, pretty?” the masked man calls out.
The air in the room evaporates as you stay as quiet as you can.
From the way his boots shuffle he seems to be glancing among the hanging clothes trying to find you in the space you thought of hiding in earlier.
A sigh comes from your masked intruder, soft and defeated almost.
He starts walking out of the closet. You rationalize that he must already be bored of trying to find you here. A small dosage of relief fills your body. Your eyes even shut close again as you exhale.
You take a moment to gather yourself in your sheltered space.
Simply breathing in and out, your hands stay against your face to keep you quiet.
Wearily you open your eyes.
Ghost face now kneels before you and peeks at you through the dangling clothes.
You’re thankful your hands still clutch over your face because you let out a small squeak of a scream.
His gloved waves at you gently and teasingly.
Before you can move, before you can even stand up, firm hands dart out. Ghost face grabs your ankle and drags you out of your little hidden cave.
Your body slides out with such ease, without any hesitation. You can’t even process how fast it happens. All you can do is stare up at the looming man above you staring down with the hollowed out soulless eyes.
His entire frame, large and imposing, blocks most of the light from the closet. It bathes him in a hauntingly eerie superposition of a black stain against a sun.
“Hi there doll,” He coo’s. “Knew you couldn’t escape from me.”
His gloved hand reaches out and holds your face firm.
The knife’s sharp edge drags up your body, a slow and casual pace. Your heart crawls into your throat as you lie beneath the power of this haunting force.
It’s simply you and him.
And then the ghost face mask man suddenly giggles.
It’s a playful giggle you know so well that not even the voice distortion can hide it.
It’s the one you hear whenever you trip over your own shoes, or when your boyfriend happily steals your fries…
“Satoru.” You breathe out steadier than you expected. A range of emotions tingles all over your body.
“No.” The voice replies but there's a twinkle in the tone now. “It’s me…scary ghost face man!”
“Satoru.” You repeat firmer.
“Who’s that? Is that your boyfriend? He sounds hot.”
You roll your eyes and are about to sit up when ghost face instead sits back releasing his firm grip on you.
The hand previously on your face moves to the mask and lifts it up.
Even before the rest of his face is revealed you spy the widest toothy smile ever. The mask completely slides up and now shining blue skies stare at you.
The eyeliner he put on earlier for his vampire costume is now a smudged mess from the heat of the mask. It paints him in a grunge like appearance that unfortunately for you looks devilishly hot on him
Still, you can’t help but pout at him.
“You should’ve set a timer. I don’t think you waited a full five minutes to let me hide.” You challenge as you start taking off his gloves.
“Yes I did! I even went and took a few selfies on your phone to let the time run!” Satoru challenges back pouting.
Of course he took pictures.
You can’t help but snort. However as you slide off the thick black gloves, your eyes gloss over a bit. The high, the adrenaline, the fantasy, is fizzling away.
Before you can even say anything, Gojo cries a dramatic sob. He flops down to lie completely on top of you.
“Satoru!” You wheeze as he clutches onto you like a childish koala.
Dramatically loud, Satoru wails your name. He rubs his sweaty face against yours. Yet, his bare hands hold you so delicate.
“Are you okay?” Your boyfriend gently asks genuine, low and cautious as if someone else can hear him.
You nod on an exhale. Your body strangely enough feels comforted with the weight of your protector against you.
Your face turns to burrow against his. The scent of his skin, the soft warmth he constantly radiates, all become a lifeline guiding you back.
The sensation running through your body reminds you of walking out of a haunted house attraction or even finishing an intense scary film. Those types of experiences become a way of facing terror as something fleeting, giving you a moment of fear without truly being in actual danger. It’s why you had even jokingly suggested this play in the first place.
Satoru and you had been costume shopping when he first tried to jump out and scare you. Instead he wore a ridiculous deformed bunny mask.
You simply stared at him bored and told him how ridiculous he looked.
“Aw! Where's your Halloween spirit babe?!” He cried.
You shrugged then went back to glancing at the adorable witch costumes.
“Maybe if it was another mask I saw you chasing me in I’d get scared.”
“Oh yeah?” His voice dipped in an intrigued low purr. “You want me to chase you around?”
“Satoru!” You had hissed in embarrassment and even swatted at him.
Gojo leaned down closer making sure nobody heard him as he whispered to you.
“It’s okay, angel. I kinda wanna chase you around too.”
The true serious conversation that occurred at home after that shopping trip led to this exact moment and you still can’t believe it.
Earlier in the week Satoru had coyly suggested wearing the ghost face costume instead of his vampire one. You had playfully shrugged and didn’t think he was serious.
But of course, you shouldn’t be surprised at anything your boyfriend does any more.
“I still can’t believe you managed to change at the party without me even knowing.” You comment.
“Oh that was easy! I just used Shoko’s private bathroom. I even told her to play along if you came looking for me. She also called us sexy freaks.” Gojo happily chirps, a bit proud, and your face heats up so fast you want to claw it off.
You could never look at Shoko again for the rest of your life, but you would manage.
Satoru shifts now to slide you better into his arms as he maneuvers to rest on the floor beside you.
You and him clutch each other warm and tight.
“As fun and hot as this was…I don’t like seeing you look genuinely scared.” He mutters softly against your forehead.
“You had been doing so good and looked so brave. I felt proud. But when I got you in here, you really did look so spooked.” Gojo continues. His voice trails into a soft tone you’ve learned is reserved only for you.
You had been scared, got caught up in the atmosphere.
“You just did your job a little too well.” You joke with a dry chuckle.
“Obviously.” Gojo scoffs. “Did you expect anything less?”
He really is a terror in his own way and you playfully pinch his side.
“You’re lucky you didn’t get too scary. If you did, I would've had to call my strong sorcerer boyfriend to beat you up.” You tease.
“Oh? Your strong sorcerer boyfriend? Are you sure he isn’t the strongest?” Gojo muses bright.
“Not really.” You grin.
He scoffs.
“You might as well have just taken the knife and stabbed me with it because your words have injured me!”
“Heal yourself then mister strongest sorcerer .” You deadpan.
Playfully Gojo lightly bites your cheek.
“But are you okay… Really?” His tone holds a tenderness and undertone of worry.
“I am, I promise.” You squeeze him firm and tight, even begin rubbing your hand against his shoulder.
“Are you feeling okay?” You ask firmer now.
Gojo nods, snuggling his face closer to you.
There on the floor, you and Satoru decompress. You find it comforting. After such a high adrenaline play, simply resting with him on the floor feels as if you are easing back into your skin. It’s the solidity of reality settling.
“Wait, how did you manage to change your voice?” You perk up curious.
Satoru happily whips out a simple handheld voice changer.
“I wanted to go all out.” He proudly explains with a beaming grin.
“Please tell me you didn’t use a real knife, did you?”
“Of course not!” Gojo shrieks insulted. “I bought a real fancy prop one online when I ordered my fangs!”
For some reason the thought of him spending money on an expensive movie like type prop makes you almost squawk in horror.
Satoru even playfully stabs your side with the fake knife. The poke comes hard but does nothing and you swat at him annoyed now. He snickers gleefully, a devilish gremlin.
His large calloused hand slides up your face. It kicks you out of your thoughts and your attention flickers back to Satoru.
Your boyfriend stares down at you with an interesting gleam in his eyes. His oceanic eyes are like that of a hunter gazing at its prey with a collected composure trying not to jump and consume.
On top of his cloud hair the ghost face mask still sits.
Satoru Gojo leans above you a beautiful terror of a sight. The gleam from the closet’s light illuminates a faint halo-like glow around him. It also electrifies his bright blue eyes. The black kohl liner now even makes them stand out even more.
The dormant arousal that had simmered earlier now reawakens raw in your body as warmth trickles across your skin. Your eyes even haze over as they stare at his soft lips.
Before you can even say anything, Satoru sweeps down fast and low. A creature striking fast, he captures your lips with his.
His tongue without hesitation licks into your mouth with a devastating dizziness. You clutch onto him tight and desperate. He’s kissing you like you will fade away at any moment, or like he’s enjoying his reward.
His lips chase after yours so messily, sloppily and without any finesse. Teeth click and even spit seems to slip more and more around your mouth.
Suddenly he starts licking at the spit that’s coated your lips and corner of your cheek. He seems possessed as he simply licks at you without any care. Gojo slides his tongue down to your jaw and tastes the salt of your skin.
He nips and bites softly at every inch of you he can reach. You’re reminded of a beast trying to consume with a feral want. A prickling heat now scourches across your body.
Caught up in that same frenzy Satoru kisses down your body over your clothes until he reaches your shorts.
Wearily you open your eyes to glance down at him.
Between your legs is a sight that melts your brain. With his holy angelic eyes, electrified and blown out, along with the terrifying ghost face mask on his cloud head, Satoru is a blissful frightening sight.
He breathes out your name, a ghostly whisper.
Cerulean eyes are now bottomless oceans as he kisses your core over your shorts repeatedly. You whine breathless and desperate, wanting him closer. Glancing down, you see Satoru once more stares up at you with a devouring hunger that has your eyes closing overwhelmed.
He fucks you there in the closet. The taste of it is wild, a frantic claim.
You and him end up entangled with each other, sticky and exhausted still on the floor. The clothes hanging above create a soft canopy.
Satoru’s fingers run up your arm tender while you rest in his arms.
“Who knew the ghost face mask was gonna do that for us huh? Guess Shoko was right. This really means we’re really a pair of certified hot freaks now.”
You screech a horrified sound and want to pummel your annoying boyfriend.
“What!? This is hot as hell baby!” Gojo argues back proudly, almost smug, and it only makes you angrily wiggle away from him.
Of course he keeps you firmly captured in his strong hold and doesn’t budge an inch.
“What if we try this again but with another mask?” Satoru asks dreamily.
“You’re already a clown, you don’t need another mask.” You reply.
“BABY!?” He sobs out absolutely horrified and dramatically hurt. You laugh and curl tight against this stronghold of a man.
“You wound me! I absolutely for sure have internal bleeding right now!” He continues sobbing while he burrows his face against the top of your head.
Being on the floor for so long starts aching so you slowly sit up. Gentle warm hands begin rubbing your back while you stretch. Glancing around at all the discarded clothing littering the floor, you spot the ghost face mask. In the heat of the moment your fingers had carded through Satoru’s soft hair and the mask slipped off.
It so innocently yet hauntingly stares out with those vacant hollow void eyes. A strange urge crawls up your neck and sinks its fangs into you. Grabbing it you turn back to Satoru who stares up at you with a dreamy softness.
“Oh?” He catches the sight of the mask and sits up. His curiosity sparks awake playful and fast. “What do you have in mind?”
You softly shush him and gently slide the mask over him.
With it completely covering his face, knowing fully it’s him and not having to pretend, does break the illusion.
However, it cracks open something new that is dangerously raw and hungry.
Your thumb strokes the side of his face where the soft latex of the mask covers his cheek.
Leaning forward you kiss him over the mask. You taste the annoying synthetic fabric of the mask. Yet a wild heat comes when you feel his lips through the fabric. Satoru’s hands slowly run up to your shoulders to hold you as you kiss him through the fabric.
It ignites a delirious frustration that feels so good. His mouth desperately tries to feel you against the fabric that quickly starts to get wet.
Another raw idea flashes in your mind. Softly you pull away from his lips. You think of Gojo and how his tongue claimed you in a flurry.
So with a soft tentative kitten like attempt, you lick at his lips through the mask.
Something wild unleashes itself in Satoru. He rapidly sweeps you into his arms with his godly strength and simply lifts you up from the floor. His lips moan against yours.
“Keeping this on.” Gojo slurs as he rapidly moves you and him towards the bed.
You shake your head rapidly agreeing. The plush bed hits your back.
Above you, once again the ink stain presence of ghost face stares down at you. Your fingers do ache to run into his hair, across his delicious undercut. But those simple aches are crushed against the clear sight of your Satoru as ghost face. You vividly see Satoru’s broad shoulders, feel the touch of his bare hands caressing your thighs so intently.
“I caught you fair and square, my sweet little treat.” Now it’s his voice, unmodulated and clear as crystal, cooing triumphant underneath the mask.
“Now… I think I wanna unwrap you again.” Gojo whispers and it slices under your skin deliciously.
Beautiful debauched arousal rapidly consumes you as you claw at him wanting him closer.
“You like knowing it’s me under here, baby?” Satoru continues. His fingers begin kneading into your soft thighs, anchoring himself to your body.
His long fingers softly swipe into the slick arousal pooling between your legs and a whimper flutters out of you.
“Me too.” Gojo whispers, almost admitting with a quiet glee.
“I like knowing I'm under here getting to chase you, knowing I’ll always catch you and have you all to myself.”
Pulling his fingers out, they shine coated in your wetness. He slips them under the mask. Suddenly the sound of him sucking fills the room and your mind melts even more.
Satoru groans, drunk on pleasure. Even with the mask hiding his face it somehow heightens the moment and you claw at his arm firmer.
Taking the hint, Gojo slides fully between your legs to draw closer to you. He now takes the fingers in his mouth to slide them into yours.
Your eyes close and roll back. You suck on his wet fingers covered in his spit and the faint linger of your arousal. He begins grinding against you and you moan needed more of him all over again.
It's delicious and dark, this beautiful cobweb of desire you and Satoru are caught in.
“That’s it, angel. Let’s keep enjoying our fun little fright night, yeah?” Your ghost face lover purrs and as you sink into lust’s heavenly darkness, you find you couldn’t agree more.
