I don't know who needs to hear this, but the fun thing about advice is that you literally never have to take it. It is only ever offered guidance or suggestion, which means literally any advice given to you, no matter how authoritatively, forcefully, or otherwise convincingly, is merely just a suggestion, and you can literally just ignore it with the only potential consequence being the exact same thing that would've happened had you never seen the advice.

So if that advice is not being given to you personally and you just so happen to stumble upon it on the internet, you can literally just think "wow, this doesn't work for me" and keep scrolling. There are literally no negative consequences to doing that! How cool is that?!

#I'm sorry but some of y'all literally think an opinion existing on the same internet as you is a personal attack #when your dentist says brush twice a day do you swing back with but i couldn't on tuesday so this is bad advice #how dare you say this as if it's universally true #if we can only say things that are universally true than we can't speak #and frankly any advice that works universally in all situations is probably vague and pathetically weak advice #there i said it #good advice is specific and only works in certain scenarios #and all advice is meant to help you grow not to be mandated behavior wtf
