The erasure of Fitz and Keefe being the weird kids in their grade by this fandom is insane. They were the Vacker kid who kept mysteriously disappearing and some rando who skipped a grade, THEY WERE NOT COOL.

Is anybody going to mention the fact that in book 1, the neverseen would've faked suicide for Sophie's abduction? Imagine how much worse it would be if everyone thought she really felt terrible enough to take her own life? Grady, Edaline and maybe Biana might have shattered from the guilt (canceling the adoption, being forced into friendship). Shannon is on another level of pain for her characters. Not to mention, Fitz might have broken as well, and then she wouldn't be able to call for help. And poor Keefe. He would feel awful, and his parents likely would tell him to "man up" or some crap like that. Sorry for being sad, but I wanted to say it.
