I had some outside inspiration i guess but mostly i just liked those colors and thought they’d work well enough together.

#asks#anonymous#not pictured: my black cat themed collection (including a welcome rug and a spoon holder)#also the pink couch from to all the boys: always and forever#wasn’t super invested in the movie with the exception of the pink couch/nyc scenes because they felt so queer#and i immediately became obsessed with pink couches forever#(mine is just a couch cover; it’s actually blue but astraues would rip it to shreds if he could)#mine#astraeus tag#before anyone gets mad about all the painted wood: literally we found the blue dresser on the side of the road#someday i hope to restore it bc it is real wood and gorgeous but i’m not there yet#the eiffel tower was already painted like that#and finally the green cabinet with the bumblebee holder is not real wood#just particle board#but i needed bedside tables that were cabinets with doors#to keep astraeus from playing with my internet modem cords#so i found the best i could online and made them pretty#still on the hunt for real wood ones but these will do for now#oh and the ivy was another DIY#it’s ivy ribbon with velvet leaves superglued to it#got both on amazon#it looks prettier than the regular fake ivy imo#it’s entirely a work in progress i’m never satisfied lol
