Is the whole "Matthias sacrificed himself to save his friends and family because Faerghus' toxic culture of chivalry brainwashed him and that was a bad, stupid and pitiable thing for him to do, but when someone on our or Adrestia's side does the exact same thing it's a good, brave and praise-worthy thing to do" fiasco the most flagrant example of hypocrisy in the Fódlan games?

That's one of the main issues I have with those games, are they so badly written, or are they written in a way that showcases the protags (Adrestia/Leicester) as hypocrites?

Is this on purpose, or not?

Imo the biggest offender would be the Rhea BaD scene where, after a trial (but uwu no fair trial because Rhea doesn't respect article 6 or the ECHR :'( ), the game has the nerve to give you students/people reacting strongly to an execution, of people who tried to kill them (and killed other no name no face students).

But during Map 2.1 or 2.2., or hell, even in every FE game, you kill red units who are trying to kill you.

And even out of the battlefield, when Supreme Leader behead a defeated and on his knees Dimitri, Bernie isn't wondering if she does something "bad" Supreme Leader might execute her! Hell, Ingrid who seemed to have doubts about the "punishment" the peeps from the Western Church got, isn't saying a thing when Billy beheads Randolph or when Flèche is terminated after trying to kill Dimitri and successfully killing Rodrigue.

Raphael thinks those "guys who got caught" got the axe and it was brutal, but I don't remember him saying anything similar when the army bissects Supreme Leader after defeating her.

The one and (hopefully) only Nijisanji-related post I'll write. Inspired by getting Yugo's Queen of Hearts cover AND Zaion/Maririn's Identity covers back to back in my playlist.

Right now, Nijisanji's digging a grave for themselves.

Yugo's graduation was COMPLETELY unexpected. It seems like only the man himself knew, as the rest of Noctyx's tweets on it showed either well-feigned confusion and shock or... you know. They genuinely had no idea this would happen.

Yugo got terminated. He did not 'peacefully graduate'. He got practically fired. And Anycolor sure as hell knew what they were doing by disclosing Zaion's terms of graduation now.

Anycolor INC did not disclose the reason of Yugo's termination. A lot of people right now are saying that clearly U-san (Yugo's liver) left on better terms with NIJI corpo as a whole than Sayu (Zaion's liver), but you have to realize.

Yugo may not have done anything too bad. It may just be a conflict of interest, or woeful misalignment, or whatever. It's not for us to know or care, apparently. They may not have done anything too bad, but what they did clearly stacked up against themself. They still, clearly, did something bad to get fired.

Zaion, however, is a different case. She got fired and practically leaked on nyfco for the termination (and probably for reasonable cause, as I was shocked by seeing her entire list of offences). She had over 10 reasons on that list, with an 'and more!' solidifying it. Now, I agree that all of it was Sayu's fault. She should've known better. She's with an audience of fucking weirdos, but she has NO RIGHT to speak about sensitive topics in such a lighthearted manner. People played it off as dark humour, but there is a difference between toeing the line and leaping over it entirely.

Additionally, her genmates had multiple talks with her. My main problem with Anycolor here is:

Why did they hire her, even with the background checks and all?

Why did they give her multiple chances, even when others protested and told them not to? (Others meaning the fans, btw)

What has their quality of livers gone down to?? People bash on Hex and Zaion for their "aha uwu quirks", Koto's a NEET and the girls are both Japanese, Ver is an obsessive nerd, etc. The only one not surrounded by controversy in XSOLEIL is Doppio (just barely, because apparently he did nsfw shit with his pl?).

I think that, honestly, if Niji had cut this off in the start, none of the Zaion leaks and drama would've happened. Obviously they did a bit better with Yugo, because even if they were terminated--other livers are still in contact with him. They still respect him.

And, as of right now, it doesn't look like either the audience or the livers can respect Zaion (and, as a result, Niji) for the complete fiasco this caused.

If I'm being honest? I think Hex may need to get terminated for his actions as well. While I understand and appreciate him coming out as a survivor of SA and saying that it was a really shitty move for Sayu to make, his past actions kinda... ya know. Make him seem a bit worse in XSOLEIL as well.

You closed the balcony door with a sigh and then ungracefully threw yourself at the small bench in the corner. You really wanted to go home because the party had been boring, but Natasha- who was supposed to be your driver- was nowhere to be found. 

You shivered when the cold wind hit the back of your neck and cursed yourself for not bringing your coat with you. To be honest you would rather sit on the balcony, freezing than go back to this chaos of a party.

“I see that this hiding spot is occupied.” A familiar voice greeted you and you couldn’t help, but smile for the first time this evening. 

“There’s plenty of space for the two of us.” You said and patted the spot right next to you. Loki was happy to obey your little request and sat down. Neither of you knew what to say, but the silence wasn’t awkward at all. It was nice actually. 

Everything was so peaceful and quiet- except for the music coming from the inside of the building. You felt the wind on your skin again and hugged your chest to warm yourself up.

“Are you okay?” The god asked, looking down at your shaking body.

“Yes, I’m just cold.” You explained, moving your hands up and down your arms for some friction. 

“Here,” Loki stood up and took off their long coat. “Have my jacket.” The trickster put it on your shoulders before you could protest

“Aren’t you gonna be cold?” You opened the jacket like a blanket and hugged your friend, embracing the both of you in the warmth of his own coat. 

Loki didn’t have a heart to tell you that Jotuns don’t mind the cold.

The One Where Yeontan Doesn’t Understand Anything

pairing: tae x nobi

summary: yeontan doesnt know korean so he just barks when he sees his mom and dad being happy

squeals and laughter echoed throughout the entire dorm as yeontan came over for a visit and he pounced on nobi, licking her at every chance. he yipped happily and let out cute little whines whenever she turned her gaze away from him, angry that mom wasn’t paying attention to him. he was dressed in a hoodie she got him a few days ago and his baby ears were safely tucked inside the hood that was over his head.

“aigoo, tannie, you’re so cute,” she cooed. “My little darling.”

tae leaned against the wall by the kitchen as he watched her cradle their puppy in her arms. she sat on the floor and leaned against the couch, petting the calming boy down since his energy was slowly running out with her rubs behind his ears. yeontan had his head laid on her chest, unmoving and eyes fluttering open and close. he saw his dad and his eyes fully opened, barking at his direction.

this got her attention as she turned her head away from the tv and met tae’s gaze. her eyes crinkled when she smiled. “hey, tae.”

he approached the two and sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her. “hello, bunny.”

yeontan whined softly and raised his head when he felt his mom shift but contently placed it back down when she just moved closer to tae’s chest.

“has he been calm?” he asked, rubbing the paw yeontan had hanging out.

she nodded. “my darling is so well-behaved, aren’t you?” her baby voice made tae’s uwu meter combust inside. she continued cooing at the puppy, constantly remarking how much she loved him and how cute he was.

“y-yah, kura. what about me?” he whined at the lack of affection he was supposed to be getting.

nobi giggled before looking up at at him, giving his jaw a peck. “you’re adorable too, tae.”

although this wasn’t the first time she’s given him affections like these, he still couldn’t get used to it. the tips of his ears burned red and he suddenly felt suffocated.

“a-ah,” he stuttered. “not as you, though.” he awkwardly replied before kissing her forehead.

the 3 sat there in silence, the low volume of the show not really catching their attention. with nobi petting tannie and tae gently massaging her waist, it was a comfortable atmosphere that they gladly occupied. but a growl from her stomach caused it to be broken.

an embarrassed look overtook her face and tae chuckled at her reaction. yeontan seemed startled by the sudden loud noise because he quickly sat up, eyes looking everywhere.

“it’s okay, tannie. ma is just hungry,” she reassured. even though the dog didn’t know korean, it doesn’t stop her from talking to him anyways.

“after that,,,, fiasco,,,, i think we’d have to order delivery,” tae suggested. a harsh sigh escaped from her as she was reminded by that terrible memory.

“yah, don’t bring that up again, please. it took me so long for jin-hyung to finally let me use the microwave without blowing it up.”

tae got up to make a phone call for the delivery so nobi and yeontan were left on the floor. he seemed to wake up fully and she was playing around with him, tickling him and giving him kisses everywhere. He was happy with the amount of attention he was getting and he jumped on her stomach when she laid on her back. excited yips and licks to her chin was enough to put a smile on her face and forget about everything in the world.

she wrapped her arms around the little boy and sat up, letting him nuzzle his furry face into her neck. as tae hung up, he went back to the living room and saw two of the most important people in his life. 

he sat down behind her and rested his chin on the shoulder opposite of where yeontan was at and he wrapped his arms around her waist, right hand running through yeontan’s fur. nobi hummed and leaned back so she leaned against his chest and yeontan gave her a lazy lick before nuzzling back.

“he’s growing up so fast, tae.”

he could hear the sadness in her tone and he agreed, feeling like it was just yesterday he went and got her their baby. nearly 3 years has passed and he still cannot believe how much he’s changed.

“he brought me out of that hole. when i thought everything went dark, he was that sliver of light between the clouds. my baby,” she whispered.

the main reason he got her yeontan was because she hit rock bottom and with the tour, she had no chance or time to let it all out. once they got back home, tae made sure he got everything ready and he walked into her bedroom, holding the puppy and seeing her shock and surprised reaction.

tears from the overwhelming feeling from tour.

but also tears from the happiness of having Yeontan.

“the food should be here in 15 minutes. what do you want to do for now?” he asked.

“well, it’s been a while since we’ve given him a bath ourselves.”

tae smiled at her soft grin. “i dont know if my mom gave him a bath already but we can do it.”

“i can go set everything up,” she offered before standing up and handing the squirming puppy back to tae.

he raised a paw and moved it up and down as a wave. “say bye bye to mami, tannie. say bye bye!”

she turned around by the hallway with her hands on her hips and tried to look serious but a smile broke through. “yah, don’t make it sound like i’m leaving forever.”

yeontan barked and he struggled to get out of tae’s hold to run to her but tae held on tighter and nuzzled his face into the soft fur. “she’ll be back, tannie.”

nobi went to the closet next to the bathroom and grabbed a small towel and the robe that was specifically for yeontan. next, she went to her room to get him a new set of clothes. it was a black and white hawaiian shirt that she picked up a few weeks ago when she went shopping with jungkook.

she rummaged through the cabinet under the sink for his shampoo before finding the familiar pink bottle and shouting for tae to bring the puppy in.

“coming!” he yelled back.

taehyung pushed the slightly open door so that him and yeontan could get through. nobi’s face lit up when she saw her baby and she took him from tae’s arms so that he could close the door. yeontan licked her hand as she tried to pet him behind the ears and he nudged his nose to hers.

“come here, tannie.”

together, they bathed the dog and it was filled with bubbles being thrown everywhere and water being sprayed to each other. yeontan kept wiggling to get the water off of him and caused his parents to get soaked with the excess water.

“yah! yeontan! stay still!” she shrieked with a laugh that echoed throughout the bathroom.

the boy barked in defiance before continuing to wiggle and walk around. nobi exasperatedly tried to follow him so she can wash the soap off of his fur but yeontan wanted to prolong bath time.

“tannie, let’s finish so you can be warm again, hm?” tae asked and caused yeontan to stop and sit still.

nobi’s eyes widened and an outraged and betrayed expression crossed her face. “yah, that’s not fair! you like papa more than me!”

tae laughed, “no. he likes mami because she buys him more clothes.”

damn right, she does. and when yeontan finally allowed her to wash him, he excitedly moved his hands and feet excitedly as she held him up in the air for tae to dry him off with the towel. the cute, white robe for dogs hugged him perfectly and nobi squealed at him. she got her phone from the sink and took a few pictures.

“wah, yeontan you’re so cute! my baby!” she cooed and yeontan happily barked at the sweet tone his mom was giving him. even though he doesn’t actually understand what she was saying, just her giving him attention was enough to make him happy.

in the middle of drying, the doorbell rang and tae got up to go get it since it was probably the food. once he was dry enough, she got yeontan to wear his clean shirt.

“okay, baby. through this arm and next, through this arm.” she guided his paws through the arm holes and when he was dressed, he bounded out of the bathroom and into the living room where tae was setting up the food.

he saw yeontan and picked him up to place him on his lap, waiting for you to change your clothes and come sit across him. there was fried chicken, jajjangmyeon, and cheese balls.

“wah, this looks really good,” she drooled as she snapped the chopsticks to mix the noodles.

tae took some meat of the chicken before feeding it to yeontan, who happily munched on it. nobi gave him a napkin to held wipe the crumbs off of yeontan’s fur and the puppy froze, allowing his dad to wipe him.

seeing the interaction, nobi placed her chopsticks down and bit her lip, hesitant to bring it up. but she has been thinking about it for a while and it’s something she wants to hear his opinion on.

“tae,” she called and he looked up to meet her eyes. “should we.... should we have another one?”

tae cocked his head slightly to the side, confusion evident on his face. “what are you talking about?”

she cleared her throat, “another baby. yeontan’s growing up really fast and he’s turning 3 soon. i just thought that with another one, he wouldn’t be so lonely and he would like it if he has someone with him.”

there was a fat silence and nobi nervously fiddled with her fingers, not exactly sure what she was so anxious about. she just wanted another puppy.

tae chuckled after a minute of thinking. “gosh, bunny. you make it sound like you want a child.”

surprised, she met his eyes before she too, laughed at the way her request sounded. “it did, didn’t it?”

“but, if you want, we could. we’re not that busy right now so it might be a good time to get another one. i can make a few phone calls and see if we can get one.”

she let out a happy shout and resisted the urge to reach over the table and hug the life out of tae. yeontan didn’t know what was going on but he saw the smiles his mom and dad had so he just barked loudly, showing his own happiness.

“you want a sibling, tannie? you want a baby brother? or sister?” nobi excitedly asked and yeontan let out squeaks randomly.

“don’t get too excited, nobi. with this whole thing going on, it might take a while to get a hold of some breeders,” tae warned but she just smiled at him.

“doesn’t matter. i’m just happy that we get to add another member to our family.”

An A.I that came from Canada,he & mercury met when regina brought along for her visit to her old colleagues.those times he found unexpected companionship toward him.a bot who was built before him.who is calm,aloof, yet bold & ethical.he was a combat healer one who he should had been as yet he was given a different role,but he-mercury-decided to help him learn.

He doesn’t understand why he would want to help him but after giving reasonable words he got regina’s approval on the matter surprisingly,but because mercury displays some characteristics that regina’s looking for.That’s why he was here today speaking to him when mercury came to visit,he confine to him of what was happening & what he should do.

Mercury always had been there for him now that he realize it,in fact even after the fiasco was over,even when he joined the The new brave police team,mercury was always there to help when he needed.but to his surprise mercury joined as well when his skills as a mechanic & doctor for the a.i’s & humans came to light,the organization enlisted him on the team.

He was happy because the Bot who supports him was with him,now he is able to know him more.now if only the new team he was in would stop teasing him about his growing feelings for mercury.

Luckily for him it turns out mercury felt the same way,how? The answer to his silent love was in the form of their first kiss in new years.

It started earlier Months before they met mamoru,seiryuu was partnered with the an a.i like him & his siblings Shuiroryuu,Kuroiryuu,Shiroiryuu,he & his siblings are rather unique a.i’s as they are not only similar to the ryuu siblings but also similar to the one who becomes his future partner for life,he & his siblings are able to do symmetrical docking despite being built as triple changers & took a motorbike mode.

He can’t talk well to the others & because of this he was known as the aloof,coolheaded yet cold ninja,some people think he was mysterious & cool others thought he was looking down on them,because of that he had a rocky start with them,his sister on the other hand was well liked for her outgoing attitude,he wished he wasn’t so timid but it can’t be helped on his terms.but that was the start of a new change for him as he met volfogg.

Volfogg was informed that he was getting a partner in the mission,he is alright with it but he does question why he needs a partner where he had the twins? It turns out it was due to a rocky start with the others that he needs someone who can easily cooperate with him & it seems he was the only who can collaborate with him.What he didn’t expect after a long months of being partnered together that the mr.cool guy was actually timid & awkward,it started when they start protecting mamoru as they take turns for their mission & guarding him.it turns out mamoru,the new member had once start interacting with seiryuu.he,seiryuu soon slowly opens up & there volfogg finally got to know who he was.

Seiryuu was not just a timid & awkward fella though,no he shows that he is headstrong,level headed,intelligent,tactical,wise & empathetic a.i.the problem was social interaction as he never interacted with the others as he let his sister do all the talking.because of this he wasn’t able to gain some at least friends.

he said to volfogg”in truth i…..had admired the fact…….that you were quite like me…… yet strong & confident…..i wish i was…...like you!”,hearing those words as he struggles to say it & seeing how much he earnestly says it,volfogg decided to offer his companionship to him in which he gladly except.but their relationship as partners grow into something else,something that volfogg starting to notice when seiryuu starting to open up.

His smile…’it was seiryuu’s smile that got hold of volfogg attention,not the timid smile or the awkward smile,but the smile that easily blossoms with no care in the world,his smile that turns bright his smile that pierces something through him as he was focus on it.in time he starting to learn what he felt that day as his ‘spark’ keeps getting warmer whenever seiryuu was near him,they got closer overtime but being called”just a friend”may or may not bothered him.

So he decided to change that when mamoru helps them prepare celebrate christmas once more when the four Ryuujin Quartets stayed to join them,so with some nudging from the others,he stole seiryuu’s first kiss that day...well at least he won’t always say “just a friend”anymore that’s for sure,besides seiryuu’s flushed face & the kiss maybe the best gift volfogg can get.

If you were to ask someone: what are the ML love square ships? You’d expect them to rattle off four ships names. But what if I told you there are a total of 25 love square ships, and 7 totally different atmospheres surrounding those? Let me explain:

Marinette Dupain Cheng wears a total of 4 different super hero suits. Including her civilian self, that is 5 different shippable forms.

Adrien Agreste’s case is just like Marinette’s.

I have taken the liberty of organizing each (sometimes impossible) ship into one of four vibes: Adrienette, LadyNoir, Marichat, and Ladrien.

Adrienette Ships:

Besides Adrienette itself? None. There is no ship that matches the complete vibe. it’s unique and pure uwu

LadyNoir Ships:

These ones are pretty self explanatory, he knows she’s Ladybug and she knows he’s Chat Noir. Still, they’re quite fun to imagine.

BUT

There are three ships which do not comply within these main four, and they give us a breath of fresh air. I’m gonna start with Marinette & Aspik.

While it’s unlikely that these two will ever interact in canon, it’s still cute. And while Marinette knows that Aspik is Adrien, it’s also worth remembering that Marinette isn’t supposed to know that. The only people who know of Aspik’s identity is Ladybug (lol), Chat Noir (double lol), and Luka/Viperion. Therefore, this ship does not fit into any love square category because Marinette will have to treat Aspik as just another one of Paris’ heroes (whether she’d be any good at it is up for debate). Aspik would also treat Marinette as a normal civilian and not his classmate.

This brings me to Multimouse & Adrien. This is a very similar situation to the above ship. Adrien knows that Marinette is Multimouse, but again, Adrien isn’t supposed to know that. The only people who know of this fact is Ladybug (dear goodness this is confusing), Chat Noir, and maybe Mrs. Mendeleiev.

And finally, we come to the fiasco that is Multimouse & Aspik. This ship is not like Adrienette because it would just be more awkward. The would both be pretending that they don’t know each other at all and trying to be a superhero team. While also trying not to be like their other superhero persona so the other doesn’t catch on (which is a lot harder than it looks because they know each other so well as LadyNoir).

So yeah. Enjoy the 7-cornered love square containing two (2) people that is the entirety of a TV-Y7 Disney Channel show.
