she looks like a baby bat and would’ve been named stellaluna but our human baby sister’s name is stella so the kitten is just luna

she is determined to make her older sister’s life hell (ophelia, also a black cat, upset that she is no longer the baby) and they will chase each other around and swat at each other even though ophelia is twice luna’s size

she was the runt of her litter and hissed at anyone who came near her until my sister visited the house of her foster moms and sat in a room with their...nine? cats and luna got attached to her immediately

my sister’s oldest cat is a fat and grumpy black-and-white cat who i love dearly and her name is mj and she will not have any of luna’s bullshit

she is still so tiny!! she’s like six weeks old and at first my sister could easily hold her in one hand and probably still could but she’s grown a bit but is STILL SO SMALL!!!

all the cats have a wide array of nicknames and my favorite one for luna right now is looney tune
