#i will say there is lots of gore and a good handful of nudity and sex so dont watch if you're not into any of that#like it is def an adult story but of course using animation as a beautiful way to tell it#animation is a vehicle for storytelling!!!!! and is suitable for lots of things!!!! especially this one which is amazing and wonderful and#they do so will in linking things together and using japanese traditions and costuming and settings and storytelling for such vivid#and expressive imagery and character arcs and everything aaaa just go watch it#it has a lot of themes that i really love exploring and reading/watching so i was drawn to it when i first saw the trailer weeks ago but#i finally had the time to sit down and watch it; i watched it with my partner who enjoyed it a lot as well#day in the life of the lamp
