Wolf laughed loudly at LeBlank's words. He called out, head bobbing from side to side as he looked between the pale sorceress and the gentler side of the Kindred: "Do you hear that, Lamb?! This one thinks she cannot die! That her ability to never age means she has escaped our clutches permanently. Oh, she is just like those sorrowful sprites, who have clawed their way out of their graves." Wolf swayed closer and put his ears back, icy breath huffing. "Nothing ever does not die."
"Wolf!", Lamb called and her normally calm, soothing and almost detached voice now gained just that hint of icy cold, "That's enough."
In a wooshing motion, the brutal side of death joined its counterpart again, black smoke trailing after him. Wolf circled her in a way, which may have been called peeved. Lamb could understand him. She too felt LeBlank's immortality like an itch in her pelt. It was wrong. As wrong as the wraiths of the Shadow Isles. Human beings were not supposed to live forever, and those who tried, always paid a price.
Lamb began to softly and patiently hum as she tried to soothe Wolf's aggression, which had been awoken by his ill-tempered words. Humans never changed. Their hubris gave birth to all sorts of colourful words, and LeBlank was no fanciful exception as she liked herself to believe. There had been many, who had tried to evade the Kindred. Still, they owed an answer to the pale sorceress as she inquired about the reason for their visit.
Lamb spun her bow around and put her hoof against her thigh, idly balancing on a small, powerful leg. Even though the Kindred were forced to look up at most of the beings they met, their ancient power made them rather unfazed by this development.
Lamb spoke: "Wolf has been longing to understand the world more, so I have decided to show him all the nations and how their people live. Wolf insisted that I start with Noxus as...."
"it is a place of blood and death", Wolf finished.
Lamb gave a solemn, non-judgemental nod and added: "The only reason, Wolf is drawn to you, is because we can sense your false immortality. It is like an itch, we cannot relieve ourselves of. Human beings are not supposed to be like you, LeBlank."
@shimmerbeasts said:
"you're the prettiest thing i've ever seen." It was hard to say whether Wolf meant such words as a compliment. He had floated forwards from Lamb, who merely watched, masked face unreadable and icy blue eyes staring directly into LeBlanc's soul. Wolf rasped: "I think you would make quite an interesting chase, given how much you have done to escape our carnassial teeth and arrows."
There was no living being in all of Runeterra who didn't know who the duo was; The wolf and the Lamb, once The Gray Man, were the ones responsible for collecting souls when their time was up.
And LeBlanc was quite sure hers was far away from the present, which only created more questions than answers in her mind. "I take both as compliments. And since you sound so excited about chasing me, dear Wolf, I must do all I can to not disappoint you." She had sacrificed many in the name of reemerging immortal, and would do that dozens of times more if it were necessary.
"Now, I have seen many deities through the centuries, but never the two of you before. I know for a fact I am not terminally ill, nor am I bedridden after being attacked during a fight. I cannot age, and with that, I cannot die because time never passes for me. Then, if you can indulge the curiosity of this mere sorceress, what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting?"
There was much more the Pale Sorceress wished to ask them, after they made their business with her known.

@piltover-sharpshooter cont. from here. Caitlyn had, up until a few seconds ago, been enjoying the concert. Prime seats, alone, so no one would bother neither the investigator NOR the heir of the Kiramman family. In fact, the only ones that could annoy her at this point were her parents, through a pager, in case there was an earth-shattering emergency. And indeed, the concert had been fantastic, the music divine, her champagne exquisite, the-- Fear. Fear like she had never felt before, cold like she never felt before, as if something had been shoved inside her, freezing and horrifying, and just as quickly it went away. But something had indeed change, the two figures she could now see were the stuff of legend...and very real indeed. "The...Kindred?" No it couldn't be, it couldn't possibly be her time. She felt her heart beat faster but it still beat, she felt no pain, she had no wounds, she became more anxious, no she had so much yet to do, so much stuff to accomplish, so much good-- She sighed, a weird sort of calm taking over her. Acceptance perhaps? Or just ready to give up. "So...it's my time?" She asked both of them, first looking at the Wolf close to her, then to the Lamb.
Wolf clearly hadn't paid attention to whom he graced. He never did. Like the youngest pup, the brutal side of death would chase the next sparkly thing, which caught his attention. While Lamb equally could invoke existential dread in a passerby, if she bumped into them, usually she was far more careful. The living hadn't forgotten the Kindred yet, though they often banned them from their conscious thought.
Lamb hadn't registered that evoking existential dread could make them visible if they didn't depart fast enough. Usually, people only caught a glimpse of them, however, Caitlyn Kiramman was staring at them and began to hyperventilate at first. Wolf's ears swivelled and he spun around. His ghostly body grew in size, blocking Caitlyn's view of the theatre so that all the investigator could see, was purplish-black fur, more smoke than substance, a head with ghastly teeth, a white mask and icy blue eyes.
"Wolf, stop it", Lamb chastised him, "You are scaring her!"
"But maybe she starts running, little Lamb!", Wolf called out impatiently.
Lamb jumped up and hovered in mid-air. She gingerly caressed his ever-salivating muzzle, slowly easing the brutal side of death back into a calmer state. Looking back at Caitlyn, her icy blue eyes gained an apologetic glint and she spoke:
"Fear not, young Caitlyn. It is not your time yet. We merely came here because Wolf wanted to experience the world more and this concert had such a funny name. Unfortunately, I underestimated how quickly he can get bored."
A twinkling, sparkling laugh.
"Maybe a concert was not the best idea for him."
