about.
as the youngest of eleven children, sylvia always had someone doting on her --- older siblings that hovered over her shoulders and sought to protect her from the world, parents that would protect her from anything. and there were consequences for messing with her --- though not all applied by those around her. rather, sylvia believes in karma; what you do unto others will eventually come back unto you. a concept that was shunned in her mormon family, and that she learned to hold her tongue on.
first grade. choir practice. a piece of gum. a shaved head. cruel laughter. these memories haunt her regardless of her insistence otherwise, her ginger locks still being one of the things that she treasures most. it’s unique and distinct; and in her opinion beautiful. those months of growing back her hair dragged on like nothing else, and she struggled to remain positive even at such a young age.
regardless, she felt victorious as she watched the other girl receive her comeuppance and then lived with the feeling of smug satisfaction that the other didn’t belong in the town. that the other’s family didn’t belong in the same way that hers did, it was a comfortable place to exist. she was surrounded with kids, who while admittedly cruel, whose families approved of the soft girl in her floral dresses and perfectly coiffed locks.
fitting into the crowd and being undetectable has always been a strength of sylvia’s, one that she wears with quiet pride. her opinions are something that she holds close to her chest, letting few people past the outer shell that she adopts around school and even fewer into the innermost version of herself --- holding them at an arms length is far easier.
jack-of-all-trades mainly because she floats from interest to interest, obsessing over a new skill or knowledge set for a few weeks or months before moving on --- only coming back to it when the situation calls for it. will stubbornly try to learn anything she can by herself, want to be the only person that she ever needs. will be bitter about it if she has to call upon others for assistance.
holds a nasty grudge --- if she feels that you’ve crossed her in anyway, she will not forgive you until she decides that you’ve ‘paid the price’ in one way or another. this doesn’t always involve her personally seeking out revenge, though it sometimes will. forgiveness is not something that comes easily to sylvia, just as trust isn’t.
interests mainly revolve around her deep-rooted interest in true crime --- if she hadn’t decided to study covert operations, she almost definitely would have went into medical training. she’s a science heaux for sure, with a deep love for chemistry in particular though she’s partial to anything that involves math.
always has multiple escape routes planned out regardless of where she is, doesn’t like feeling trapped --- and if she does, she will lash out.
started to distance herself emotionally from her family’s religion around her twelfth birthday and doesn’t actually practice it anymore herself. not a believer in any way but has respect for people who have faith.
much like with interests / studies, she flits from relationship to relationship, from crush to crush and can be increasingly hard to pin down emotionally. commitment isn’t something that she’s interested in for practical reasons, though she would eventually like a steady sort of love for herself.
connections.
* note all connections are open to all genders and are just ideas, and are open to change *
platonic.
there’s a storm you’re starting now.
bad influence. this is a bad choice, a series of bad decisions that threaten to ruin both of their lives if they aren’t careful. but when they’re together, they bring out the worst in each other and it’s just natural that they continue on this path of never saying no. sylvia knows that it’s only a matter of time before it catches up, but there’s something that keeps her coming back to them. sometimes, your best friends are also your worst enemies.
about four minutes from a heart attack.
unlikely friends. they shouldn’t be friends, everyone knows this and they’re certainly not unaware of the fact. it’s the kind of friendship that everyone expects to sink within a matter of days, but instead slowly blossoms into more than either of them ever thought that it could be. or at least, that’s how it looks right now.
romantic.
i found him in a lover.
friends with benefits. it’s nothing more than boredom and a carnal need for human connection. sylvia leaves immediately afterwards, blowing a kiss behind her as she makes the walk back to her own dorm. it’s an easy thing, the sort of habit that you can find yourself falling into when you know that it will never be more than a bad choice. it’s skin against skin, lips meeting in the middle and pleasure --- and then it’s empty arms and an empty bed. they’re just friends, aren’t they?
to my love, i’d never lie.
ex-fling. when they were together, they both swore that it would be forever --- passion ran high like a fire out of control. ride or die, they insisted, whispers lost in the night. and then suddenly sylvia grew bored and for all that she tried to hide it, they caught on and it ended --- with one last lie escaping her lips.
inimical.
don’t let our hearts freeze.
rivals. the undying desire to be better, to do better, paired with the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the upper hand. if you see that someone else wants something, it fuels your own desire for it and sylvia has always looked at their dreams with a glint in her eye, willing to steal everything from them if it might benefit her. but that’s a game that two can play, and passion without a source is like a blown-out candle.
that’s the beauty of a secret.
ex-friends. they knew each other’s secrets and neither of them have kept quiet about what they knew --- everyone thinks they know what happened between these two but sylvia refuses to say anything about it. nowadays, she hardly spares them a glance and when she does there’s something cold about it. anger lurks beneath, hidden only by an oppressive silence.

⌠ JENNIE KIM, 21, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ⌡ welcome back to gallagher academy, NINA PARK! according to their records, they’re a THIRD year, specializing in COVERT OPERATIONS (CP) + KNIFE FIGHTING SKILLS, SWORD TRAINING, PRECISION SHOOTING, FIREARMS & SWAT TRAINING; and they DID go to a spy prep high school. when i see them walking around in the halls, i usually see a flash of ( skater skirt, thigh-high boots, cherry flavored lip gloss, ice latte, french manicured nails, pink diamond choker, floor filled with shopping bags, echo of punching bag through the halls during unholy hours ). when it’s the gemini’s birthday on 05/27/1998, they always request their COQ AU VIN from the school’s chefs. looks like they’re well on their way to graduation.  BIO , WANTED CONNECTION & PINTEREST
TRIGGER WARNING: death mention, alcohol, underage drinking
Hi, it’s me again with a second character. I can’t resist. Anyway, here’s my other baby girl. As early as now, I am asking for forgiveness already for everything about her.....
Being the only youngest and only daughter in her family, Nicolina Park or Nina was so used of getting her way. From life-size doll-house to limited edition designer bags, if she will do well, she will have it all. Not like it was hard for her at all. She was cunning and wouldn’t mind side-sweeping her brothers just to be the number 1 in their household and get rewards.
With 5 years gap between her brothers, she never really grown close to her brothers. Even if they were off to boarding school, Wesley and Charles still gets the attention of their parents so whenever they are home, she made it her life’s mission to torment them. Nina mostly gets away with it.
The lack of attachment with her brother was compensated with the bond that she had with her cousins, Jude and Rose. They grew up together along with Josephine Tran. Nina would practically dragged them to her antics if she could.
Nina always had this high energy but that changed when Rose was found in her room. With Jude avoiding her and her practically blaming Jo for Rose’s death, she had no one to turned to. For her, she was not given a moment to grieve which turn her a little bitter.
Came her first year in Gallagher, she was a little excited because maybe she will be reconnected with Jude but little did she knew, she was taking a break. She figured, she couldn’t let her world stop spinning, she had to move on and so, she turned to her new best friend, Little Miss Tequila with a dash of lime and salt.
Nina didn’t reach the point where she became addicted to it because let’s be real, it’s hard to obtain alcohol in this goddamn school but it became a problem of it own. Her almost harmless pranks to torment her brothers when she was younger had been honed into manipulating skills. She had learned to talk people into doing things for her like obtaining drinks or stealing homeworks so she could be ahead of the class. She had thrown people under the bus along the way really.
It was at the end of the first year when she went on a down low when she got a boyfriend. At first it was nothing serious but she felt hard, too serious that she almost said those three damn words, too serious that she discovered she was scared of attachment---or it was something she developed. If her very own cousin could turn her back on her, the others will do so she ended it.
A year of being a good girl and she went back to her old habit. Not to say that she couldn’t have a soft spot for anyone but for those who got to know her a little bit, any acts of niceness is questionable.
PERSONALITY
Alright so is hmm she is a bitch. Joke. I really don’t know how to describe her aside from that but she is very competitive, ambitious to a fault. She hates idiots but probably hates you more if she thinks you can be better than her. She had a lot of energy to argue especially if she is right ( she thinks she is all the time ) and very passionate about things she likes. Nina has little to none filter although she didn’t say things just to be mean but she tell things because it’s true ( at least that’s what she likes to tell herself ). She has a tendency to downplay great things she sees in people and would often nitpick someone’s flaw first before knowing the rest about them so yeah, she is a bit judgy. Kdding, she is VERY judgmental. First impression really last for her. She will never apologize for anything and will stop at nothing until get what she wants. Nina has a few likable traits like hmm well uhm she is
responsible? And actually a good leader when it comes to projects. Never late. LIKE NOPE. It’s hard to get on her good side but once you are in, she will probably ruin everyone who did you dirty. Like she is definitely not the ideal friend a person could have especially when it comes to giving emotional support but she is good at figuring things out. Nina never forgets when you did her a solid and will ban you from her hate list.
OPEN CONNECTIONS
THE BEST FRIEND - they are probably too much alike or the opposite. Nothing in between. The only person who can stand Nina probably. Also, someone to call Nina’s bullshit tbh. She met Nina during her first year, pretty much when she is in the process of ‘almost’ grieving for Rose. Probably the only person that saw her cry.
THE EX-BOYFRIEND - once upon a time, Nina was in love and when she realized how hard she fell, she got distracted and she didn’t like it so she broke up with him. They've been together for a year in a half or less. It could either end in bad or good terms, depends on how he took it. She is probably still like ‘MINE’ whenever someone’s around them. This someone doesn’t have feelings for her anymore probably.
THE ENEMY - someone she had double-crossed. Or someone she had an unhealthy competition with them. This person used to be a friend but Nina only befriend them to take advantage of them.
OK here is some randoms but equally wanted
Spy School mates - gals she went to spy school with
Exes - nothing to serious on her end to be honest. She only had that ONE serious love she royally fucked. Like she probably cheated on them lol
Flings/FWB/ONS - bitch needs to fuck the stress out of school ok
Annoyances - people she constantly butt heads on bc she is a fake bitch
Study buddies - coz studying is srs business ok
BI - someone Nina had been a bad influence with. She had probably got them in trouble at some point.

Beacon Life profile under the cut because I’m at least sort of active here
Name: Vivian “Vivi” Yukino
Age: just turned 16
Team: currently unknown/none
Likes: food, the color blue, friends, mysteries, supernatural creatures, dogs, researching things she likes or finds interesting, making good luck charms, reading
Dislikes: bullies, mustard, limes, her spotty memory, studying, mazes
Weapon: Shinpi JĆ« appears to be a metal baseball bat, though it’s abnormally heavy. It was originally designed by Vivi when she was fairly young, with materials and assistance given to her by her father. It can turn into a fairly large shotgun, which packs quite the kickback. Since she didn’t design it to be used for lightweights, she’s had to build quite a bit of muscle in order to wield it.
Semblance: while she hasn’t discovered it yet, at least not that she can remember, she can become immaterial for a short amount of time. This allows dangerous projectiles to simply pass through her without harm, but it also means she might accidentally fall through a wall.
Personality: Vivi is a very outgoing person. She’s loud and in your face and rarely backs down from anything, even if it would probably be in her best interests to. She’s also very friendly. She’s not afraid to talk to anyone and always tries to put her best foot forward - unfortunately, she usually ends up tripping over that foot and making a fool of himself. She doesn’t let that keep her down, though.
Also, while she doesn’t really hold grudges for long, she can be angry for days. Beware.
History (beware it’s long): Born to a fairly well known doctor in a small town, Vivi was coddled as a child. The whole town cooed over the little girl, since she was the only child of the richest man within a few hundred miles. Unfortunately, her father was often called off to the bigger cities to either perform surgeries or lecture. Vivi’s mother, being the flighty person she is, would often follow after him to brush up on the culture of the big cities. Because of this, she spent most of her childhood being raised by her grandparents. They installed a love of mysteries and riddles into her, but she felt stifled by her environment. Everything was just handed to her, there was no excitement at all -      So she began sneaking out.
It wasn’t long before she had befriended a couple of younger boys who were willing to go along with her wild schemes. She, Lewis, and Arthur all became well known around town for always finding trouble, but rarely causing it. They would often explore the woods near their town, and this was how things ended up going horribly wrong.
She and her friends decided to explore a nearby cave. It didn’t look very big, and they had lanterns, so what could go wrong?
Honestly, Vivi’s not sure what did go wrong. Her memory is hazy and she can only recall broken bits and pieces. She remembers that there was a cliff overlooking a bigger chamber in the cave, and that something had been sleeping in the cave. She remembers falling down the shallow side of the cliff. She remembers Lewis trying to protect her and Arthur. And she remembers dragging Arthur out of the cave while he bled through the makeshift bandages and poorly made tourniquet she’d plastered on what was left of his arm.
In the end, Lewis lost his life, Arthur lost his arm, and she lost most of her memories of the past year.
She’d received quite the head wound from the adventure, which resulted in her partial amnesia and her continued spotty memory. She occasionally gets headaches if she tries too hard to remember things.
Of course, that injury couldn’t make up for what her friends had suffered, at least not in her mind. She blamed herself for leading them into the cave - and still does. She decided to become a Huntress in an attempt to at least save some people to make up for the lives she’s ruined. She’d also like to learn how to actually become a decent leader, because obviously she wasn’t a good one to her friends.
Her father supported her decision, at least initially. He was disappointed that she wouldn’t be following his footsteps, but he also realized that with her memory being less than stellar the medical field probably wasn’t for her. He used his money and influence to get her into one of Vale’s top schools, where she worked her butt off to rise through the ranks.
Sadly, because of her memory issues (and intense dislike of studying) her grades never rose above average, though it wasn’t for lack of trying. Luckily she showed a lot more promise in combat itself. She’d been forced to become just as strong as many of her male classmates thanks to the design of her weapon, and she used that to her advantage. She also buried herself in fighting technique research so she could “have a plan for anything”.
It worked. She became one of the premier combatants of her school and was accepted into Beacon early, much to everyone’s surprise. Most people like to attribute this to her father’s wealth and influence, downplaying her own achievements and driving her insane. It doesn’t matter that she isn’t even one of the wealthiest students at Beacon - she’s only there because she has money.
As a result she tries to keep her family’s financial situation a secret. She came here to prove she could save people and be worthy of praise, not to ride on daddy’s coattails.
Well... making friends wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Considering that she only has one that isn’t just trying to take advantage of her family name, a few new friends is just what the doctor ordered!
