Hello!! I saw a screenshot of THIS
Tumblr media
post recently and realized I've seen it added to posts a whole bunch, but never the original... is there a chance you could crack this case???
findin' this one proved to be a bit more complicated than i thought. see, my client handed me a case that included a screenshot of the post. so, i went to the address listed and snooped around, filterin' for "jpegs..." but nothin' showed up. so i tried "dolls." still nothin'. i tried "tumblr" and still nothin'. so, i went into the archives to snoop around. after a few minutes of scrollin' with no results i gave up and went down to the Search Bar to ask Don Google for help. they managed to give me the exact post rather quickly, but i was surprised by the rest of the post.
here you are! enjoy this lovely Skyrim wedding between two fluffy lovers! have a great day!

Meet the Canary!
Tumblr media
The Canary is my courier, and one of my first OCs, Fallout or otherwise. He’s a self-styled vigilante cowboy, and looks the part too: the armored duster, the revolver, the stylish hat. (The rebreather and the Pimp Boy 3 Billion, on the other hand, just look cool). He’s robbed the Sierra Madre, brought peace to Zion, conquered the Big MT, and survived the Divide. He travels with his robotic companion Ed-E (not pictured), and his trusty sidekick Veronica (below; he wasn’t too keen on travelling with Veronica at first until he watched her obliterate a bark scorpion with a power fist, and then he decided she could stay forever).

But; who is the Canary?
Alright, let’s do this one last time.

The Canary is my take on Arno, from Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The Canary was born from me and my friend dicking around in Unity when it first came out. I had never played an AC game before, and my friend, a longtime fan of the series, was introducing me to it. I was trying to get into the groove of freerunning around Paris, but every so often I’d see a notification to stop a criminal, or save some civilians, and I’d leap down from the rooftops to stop it. One offhand joke about Arno actually being a vigilante superhero like Batman later, and the Canary was born. We chose some extravagant outfits (poorly recreated here - I only just got the game myself a few days ago), painted them bright yellow for reasons I don’t quite remember, and chose an equally ridiculous moniker. And thus, the Canary, savior of Paris and hero of the Revolution, was born.
The decision to port the Canary to New Vegas was brought about when I wanted to play the DLCs (I had missed them the first time around), but didn’t necessarily want to play a new generic Courier, same as the first. So, I decided to recreate the Canary in New Vegas instead. But I quickly ran into another problem: there are no yellow clothes in New Vegas (besides the radiation suit, and that wasn’t cool enough for the Canary). So I reinvented the Canary a bit - rather than needing him to wear all yellow, I’d simply lean into the genre trappings of the game; namely, cowboys. The Canary always wore a cowboy hat of some kind, never used any weapon but a revolver, wore the coolest duds possible (eventually the Riot gear in the divide), and traveled alone, putting his complete trust in Ed-E.
So how many Canary-people are there?
Alright, let’s do this one last time. (Last Spider-verse joke, I promise.)

My Dragonborn OC is ANOTHER another Canary. After barely clawing his way out of Helgen alive, he vowed to help people across Skyrim and eradicate the evil that has taken hold there. He received Dawnbreaker from Merida, and eventually fell in with the Dawnguard, and now hunts vampires across Skyrim. Haven’t developed much of his story yet, as it’s been a while since Ive played Skyrim.
These are the only three Canaries so far, but my goal is to eventually create a Canary in any RPG that allows character creation. The Silver Canary running around Boston or Appalachia? A Canary at the head of the Normandy? Maybe even a Canary in the Outer Worlds, when that comes out? Sure, why not! All that matters is that wherever the Canary goes, justice and good will follow.
