#in the legend Amphinomus is a bit more tragic because he was one of the last ‘nice’ suitors and ho even came at Telemachus’s defense #he was also VERY against Antinous’s plan to kill the prince #he was on the ‘hey guys :) but hat if we tried getting on the royal family’s good side :)’#and even Ody SAW that kindness and (while disguised) urged him to leave before the bloodshed #but Athena influenced him to stay #because good character or no #Amphinomus was still a suitor #he was still someone wanting the hand of Penelope #he was still a bystander to everything #and he was Telemachus’s first kill #anyway that isn’t relevant to the musical but it still makes me insane #epic the musical #epic the ithaca saga
