#i was like hmm maybe i was too petty blocking that person and then i checked their blog#and they're like lit reblogging stuff from actual admitted zionists and railing angrily about how terrible everyone on the left is#and reblogging posts saying that what's happening in gaza isn't genocide or ethnic cleansing#and i was like oof ok im gonna keep you blocked lmaaaaaooo#what a genuinely horrible person#love that they're also peddling the lie that anti-zionist = anti-semitic#which is a wild claim considering the many anti-zionist jewish people and the fact that many zionists are actually christians#but ok!#(not to say that some ppl don't try to disguise anti-semitism in anti-zionism#but saying that everyone who talks critically about zionism really means 'the jews' is just totally untrue and a fucked thing to say!)#but the point of this kind of rhetoric is in the end to undermine solidarity for palestine#and it worked for a long time but it doesn't anymore#because people are now seeing children buried in rubble and hospitals being bombed#and ethnic cleansing being committed in realtime in front of us
